I got this device because with my new job I have really no time for games, now during my breaks I sit there and play a quick dungeon run in Cult of the Lamb, or a quick hunt in Monster Hunter Rise! It plays basically any game I could want it to. The downside is you really can’t play any games with a strict anti-cheat. And it run on Linux in desktop mode, so if you unfamiliar with that system like I am it can get a little confusing. All in all though it’s a good little system that is great to do most any game on.

I purchased this steam deck for my boyfriend and I was skeptical at first. I used All Gamer Store instead of Steam because I couldn’t do a payment plan there. I saw some reviews that some users were getting older models and that scared me. I’m happy to report that I got a brand new sealed 1tb steam deck which is what I wanted. If you can pay all in one go I’d stick to getting the deck from steam to save some money, but this option works for me and I’m happy with my product. The steam deck oled is gorgeous and runs well.

Pros:- i can play pretty much everything on here. The fan is super quiet as well.- It charges pretty fast, beautiful display.Only 2 cons I can think of and that is it feels the a,b,x,y buttons are super close to each otber and while its not a big deal, I have huge hands and end up doing a wrong move or something.The other con is the more graphic the game, like the revamp of Dead Space, it eats thr battery super fast. Yes you can fix the visuals to not be so powerhouse but it kinda takes away from the game at that point. The system does get pretty hot where the fan is sp I suggsst gefting a add on fan too, it will def help in the long run

Respecto a la compra me parece que el precio está “relativamente” bien tomando en cuenta que en México no tiene soporte de venta. Estuve muy nervioso pensando que tendría la mala suerte de que me llegará una steam standar como muchas páginas de las que me informe pero llegó nueva sellada funcionado con sellos es un aparato super ligero no hace ruido , los controles aun que parezca que no son cómodos lo son y se adaptan a tu mano , la pantalla oled es preciosa. Llegó a tiempo soy de México estoy sumamente contento jamás e usado una computadora solo consolas y está es tan buena que aunque puedas usarla como una también solo si así lo quieres usala como consola no te metas en nada más que no sea la tienda de steam y aún así será grandiosa , recomiendo que bajen protón en la misma tienda les servirá para los juegos.

La verdad recomiendo mucho este producto, esta genial. A mi a diferencia de los malos comentarios, si me llego con el cargador adecuado a México. Recomendaciones que les puedo hacer, si tienen cuenta de STEAM van a tener algunos juegos que no se acomoden con la consola pero no es del todo cierto, yo estoy jugando todos mis juegos y aunque no lo recomendaban me funcionaron muy bien. Tuve problemas con el fallout3 pero entre en modo escritorio para descargar una app que se llama proton e hice correr el juego en proton experimental para que me funcionara y se ve muy bien (vean youtube para el tutorial). Cuando vean los juegos en la pantalla OLED se van a volver a enamorar de ser gamers, es una experiencia de otro nivel no me arrepiento al momento de mi compra y la verdad estoy muy feliz por que me dio mucha nostalgia jugar Age of the empires II en consola, para los que digan que solo se puede con teclado y ratón los invito a vivir la experiencia.

The Steam Deck (SD) OLED was an awesome choice for me. Having an Xbox series X is great but with the steam deck the ability to game on the go and have access to an extensive library like Steam and have it run on steam OS is amazing. While I still play my series X, I feel that I will be using the SD OLED a lot more even at home. Docked gaming is a little tough and you have to play with the resolution a bit. Also would suggesting doing a lot of research on power banks, docks, screen protectors and cases before you buy one.Overall, I think it’s worth it especially if you have a Steam account already. Even if you don’t it’s easy to set up and it’s crazy to think how much power you have in your hands with essentially holding a mini pc.
