A+++ AWESOME! The Quality and Looks are wonderful.
As I mentioned in my heading, it is awesome. The Screen is true to size, 16″ inches, not 15.5 inches. I would love a larger 17″ or larger, but then it would not be logical as a mobile laptop on the go.I find this G614J model to be a perfect size, and the weight is exactly right for this type of hardware. If you want something lighter like a tablet, then Stop! This gaming/School/Work Laptop is not for you, look for just an Office work laptop.For the Office worker or a student who is a gamer inside, like most of us, this Laptop is necessary for a little down time to play or who is just a gamer…then this is perfect, perfect for all of us.Enjoy as I am….Also note; by leaving a true honest review, there is a chance I will receive a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback.

Great laptop
So far its been working great, thermals are good with its cooling. The manufacture site states it only supports 32gb RAM but that’s in correct. I’ve installed Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5 4800MHz CL40 Laptop Memory CT2K32G48C40S5 with no issues all 64GB show up and usable. My only complaint is all the attention went into its performance and screen quality but its speakers are very lacking in sound and quality! I had ordered the Creative Pebble V2 – Minimalistic 2.0 USB-C Powered Desktop Speakers and at 30% volume on those Pebble speakers equaled the laptops speakers volume at 100%. Its got built in Bluetooth that I’ve used with headphones and its sounds great. Has room inside for a second M.2 drive. You get two usb type a A plugs and two usb type c one of which can be used to supply power to the laptop or fast charge your phone from. Also has an HDMI and LAN port. Over all im pretty happy with it, I have it setting on the IETS GT500 laptop cooler at Idle GPU temp stays at 32c and CPU stays around 40-45c. Playing 7 days to die on steam GPU temps are around 55-57c and CPU stays around 70-78c with spikes upto 85c.Haven’t benchmarked it much but on Cinebench R23 the I9-13980HX CPU in this laptop got 3rd scoring 1336 pts on (single core) with the I7-1165G7 taking 1st and 2nd with 1st place score of 1532 pts. It got 2nd in (multicore) with a score of 24514 pts the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990wx had 1st with its score of 30054 in (multicore).

Screaming Fast, top quality display
Big, powerful, great display, it’s stupidly fast. Very pleased. A little heavy but what did you expect out of an 18″ gaming laptop? 1TB internal storage could be better but external storage is cheap and it has fast ports for interfacing with them.

Very happy with this laptop
Extremely happy with this laptop. Great graphics, speed, really nice feel to the keyboard & touchpad. I immediately upgraded the RAM from 16GB (2x8GB) to 64GB (2x32GB), which was recognized and works well. Used the included software, Armory Crate, to set one color for keyboard lights and to turn off the sound it plays when booting up. The 3 fan design is great and the laptop runs quietly, although I am mainly using it for graphics and speed, very light gaming. A great value for a great spec. It is not as thin and sleek as a mac, but still looks great with a nice overall design and great cooling for the i9 processor. Would definitely recommend.

From a Linux user…
I bought this as a workstation 6 months ago and was able to install a Ubuntu Server dual boot on this with no issues. Solid feel, quiet and fan speeds are configurable. You can install ASUS’s control center on Linux, and control fan speeds and lights. The lights are a beautiful touch.Downsides: I haven’t been able to get speakers to work on Linux, only headphones and speakers via HDMI. Also, it only comes with 2 USB-A and USB-C ports. Considering that this is a gaming or workstation laptop, the user will very likely use a keyboard and mouse and will have no open ports left.In short, worth every penny, unless you’re only buying this for gaming, in which case the i9-13980HX is overkill and you should allocate more toward the GPU. I haven’t had time to test games FYI.

Pase de un i3 a un i7 con una aceleradora gráfica de gran rendimiento, un equipo versátil, de buenas características que cubre las necesidades de los software de vanguardia que hoy en día consumen muchos recursos. Good laptop. Quality is nice. But… just beware. The number pad on the TouchPad doesn’t come in all models as advertised. I got the 4060/13980 version and it did not come with that feature. So.. do your research if you are expecting that.

Very Poor design. Specs are Good value for money.
The 4 extra buttons on right side are pretty much useless and cannot be remapped using sharpkeys or even windows registry. No numpad and cannot properly use End, Home keys so very difficult for editing and typing tasks. The USBs are all on the right side which makes it hard to even play games with wired devices for right handed people. Also only supports S0 sleep state so cannot go to sleep properly. The fans are also sideways so heat up your hand,.

Excellent Gaming / Work PC
My first Gaming Laptop, bought it for work and gaming, overall a perfect pc and for the price I think that I got a great deal.Love the QHD 240Hz refresh rate and 500nits brightness of the screen, the i9 13gen gives you a lot of power and the graphic card for me its pretty good.Battery last for around 9 hours if you use it just for web browsing, if you use it for gaming around 2 hours, so whatever you use it for is the time youll get.The only problem for me was 16GB RAM I upgraded it to 64GB RAM because of my work and it was a perfect upgrade (ASUS official page says it only supports 32GB RAM) but you can upgrade it to 64 RAM without a problem.

This laptop is a beast! Easily can replace my desktop computer! Battery is not great! But has no problems running todays software! I was able to get $20 cheaper then the entry level M3 MacBook Pro and was able to upgrade the ram to 64 gig of DDR5 and add 4 TB of storage to the second SSD slot.

What an amazing laptop

I been using this beast for a few days. Never had an i9 before and its a game changer, i work with many programs and tabs at the same time and this notebook can handle everything without a sweat.I had a 240hz in my old laptop but this screen def looks and feels way better.I play competitive games and this laptop is giving that extra mile. Smooth and great gaming experience. Feels bad i had to buy a separate numbpad but meh, little issue.

After a year of using this laptop, I am honestly impressed with itI brought it to an Asus Service center (????just for a Bio update) and was reassured that everything was up to par, only difference was that this is a USA modelThus far, these are the main points of consideration for future buyers:- trusted brand and quality- a solid year of usage without issues- no overheating or freeze frames- tried on multiple games including Triple A titles- prolonged usage on streaming platforms (binge watching ????)- overall excellent and quality productSo conclusion is, just buy it

El HDR de esta computadora se nota demasiado, diferente a una laptop full HD,el sonido Dolby Atmos se nota mucho y suena bien configurado correctamente. Se puede expandir hasta 64 GB de ram aunque en las especificaciones diga que solo 16.A veces parpadea cuando lo conecto a la corriente al inicio pero se recupera así que no es ningún problema.Estoy satisfecha con la compra ????El diseño es muy lindo, ya saben entre más rgb más fps.Solo falta probarlo para transmitir en twitch, espero y no decepcione.

Amazing Laptop
This thing is better than both my Gaming Desktop PC’s. Hot air comes out but the laptop itself stays cool. Was very easy to open and Upgrade. Increased the Ram from 8GB to 64GB and added a 4TB SSD. Pics show it had a Built in 10-key on the touchpad. No it does not. Does not even have it built into the keys to use with the FN key. Something to do with crappy marketing. if I had known I would have bought the 17″ with the full keyboard, as I use it often. It will just have to be something I deal with when using the Laptop and not the desktop. I am an Online streamer and bought this to Live stream when on the go. Does quite well with a decent cam.

I got the product that I ordered.
It’s working fairly well so far. I did have one instance of it overheating enough to shutdown the system. While it was in a fairly cool ~72F environment and sitting on a flat surface, I not sure that there is quite enough clearance on the bottom for the intake fans to be able to pull enough air to cool the system.I was not gaming but there was some process that was taking a bunch of juice that was not readily apparent in task manager. I plan on getting a more bottom open style laptop stand in the mean time to help with air flow.

Good, but over heats
I got this laptop as an early Christmas gift, I set it up in like 3-4 hours hoped on Rocket League and that is when issues begun. On the lowest settings I was getting around 1300 fps but it sounded like a jet going to space. I turned down the fps and capped them at 240 because that is the screen hertz so no need to go more then that but it still was really hot. I understand it’s a laptop and they overheat but it’s still to much, other then that so far no issue. It does not have any stutters on frame drops for I give this laptop a 4/5

Great Computer For Price – Num Lock Pad Missing – False Advertising.
The computer is amazing and yes you can buy upgrade Ram to 64gb despite what ASUS says about 32gb max. For the price, you cannot go wrong with this computer. However, the seller is false advertising by showing that it has a numpad on the track pad. This feature is NOT included with this computer. They should not have that as the main photo as it is VERY misleading! I did not plan to use the numlock pad much but it would’ve been a nice feature to have, so I am disappointed about this. So far though, the computer is great and moves smoothly. audio isn’t the best, but most people use headphones anyway these days. The quality of the screen is great and the motion is very smooth. I am overall satisfied, just wish they did not get my hopes up for something the computer did not have!

Beautiful machine!
This laptop was around 1k cheaper through all gamers store, with next day delivery that was free with Prime, than Newegg. So far this has been a wonderful machine. It has a sleek and clean design, very smooth. It is fast. The display is incredible. It really blew my mind when I booted it up the first day. I am still getting everything set up but I haven’t really had any issues at all. This is my third RoG and my last one took 7 years of hard work and a lot of strain. I have no doubt that this one will do just as well.

Version: Intel 13950hx RTX 4050
I’ve had mine for a few days now, current thoughts are its a very stylish and powerful pc. It runs mw2 on ultra settings at 100 fps (mux switch off, slightly boosted) and has the best graphics ive seen to date. Definitely worth it at this price thus far. My original gaming pc is an hp omen T-17 gtx 1060 intel I7 8th gen. I thought it was a great pc and could still run demanding games at around 60 fps with high settings (1 step below ultra) but I wanted to gift it to a family member and upgrade. This pc is far superior to the 2018 hp omen, great use of screen space as well. The size made me sad at first since im used to a 17 inch but its hardly noticable in game. Have not taken this pc apart yet nor had any issues with software or hardware, will update review as needed. Current opinion is highly recommended at 1600 USD
