Awesome gaming computer!

The only thing I would suggest is if you are doing gaming, go into the MSI program and turn the fans to run at 100% speed all of the time. That keeps it cool enough to run games at max resolution. The fans are quiet and I don’t hear them. I am also playing on a Samsung 49 inch ultra wide monitor and it plays fortnite like a champ.

Sound jack on back didn’t work, Called technical support, Easy fix.

The solution was simple. Right click on the little sound icon in the lower right. From here you can choose where the sound is outputted. On my new computer it was under Playback. The older one is under Output. Hope this helps. It turned out the sound was being sent to my speaker-less monitor thru the hdmi cable and needed to be switched to my speakers.I like this computer just fine so far. Will update if anything changes. Technical support was easy to use and according to the box, good for the life of the computer.

Everything you signed up for

This is everything you can expect. It was missing the wifi antenna and I wasnt able to use it too much without a strong internet connection. I still rate this 4 stars because it is very fast and responsive. Customer service was very helpful and the antenna is currently on it’s way. I cannot wait to use this desktop to its maximum capacity!

So far so good.

The value for this was great, I picked it up for $999. I built my last PC in 2015 and typically go that route, but after comparing cost, labor and the possible hassle of dealing with multiple manufacturers if problems arise. I decided to get this pre-built. I’ve run APEX, Overwatch and the COD: Modern Warfare Beta at max settings without any issues. I don’t care for all the LED lights, luckily all that is easily turned off. Very pleased so far.

Great value for a powerful gaming computer!

Awesome computer, superb value. I’d leave five stars, but the first one I was shipped was a refurbished model that quickly overheated every time I started it up, so that was a bit of a hassle. They gave me a shipping label to return it, however, and the new one I received works like a dream!

Amazing little machine

I was looking for a system to play games and do things in Adobe Creative Cloud and Autodesk programs. The system works beautifully for these needs. Their is plenty of additional slots for expansion and the case has so much room for activities! There was a minor issue with the operating system when it initially arrived, but the enclosed reset windows 10 flyer included with the rig makes resetting an ease. Doing this wiped out the drivers for the case, and I had to go to the ibuypower website and redownload RGB Software Polychrome RGB (instead of the Smart Lighting Driver). After that, the system was perfection. The way they have it set up works perfectly for my needs and the additional room will allow expansion! I have already recommended this system to several friends in need of a rebuild.

Great value

I compared this to a few other similar PC’s that were $3-500 more with similar specs. Didn’t see any downside so I took a gamble on a brand I wasn’t familiar with. The packaging could have been better, but it all fired up and worked right out of the box. Has one little scratch on the glass panel but it doesn’t bug me. I’m not a tech nerd or hardcore gamer and I’m comparing this to a 6-year old laptop, but still I’m impressed with the performance. I have tried EVE and Mashinky so far on max graphics and it runs 60 fps no problem (compared to 10-20 fps at minimum settings with my laptop). Keyboard feels good, mouse could be a little heavier, but overall I am happy with it, money well spent.

Great performance for the price!

I’ve had this computer for couple of weeks now and got to test out most of my games at High-Very High settings on 1080p.Shadow of the tomb raider- Very High 80 fpsRainbow 6- Very high 120+ FpsFor honor- Maxed 80-100 fpsblack desert online- Remastered graphics 60 fpsThose are the main games I got to test and play while having this computer.I really recommend getting this specially if it’s on sale.GTA V- 70-80 Maxed

So Far, So good!

Shipping was super fast – ordered it on 3-Sep and got it on 7-Sep (it was shipped to Alaska). The box was in a box with not much padding. It did fill up the box pretty good with some gaps. The outer box didn’t have any corner crushes or tears, it looked like it hadn’t been thrown around. Reviewing the quick start manual, it said to remove the padding/Styrofoam from the inside of the computer case. There wasn’t anything in there. The computer was packed with foam and was fine with no cosmetic issues. It takes a bit to install updates, but it was pretty fast compared to my old MSI laptop. the provided peripherals, mouse and keyboard need some work. I’ll have to get a new keyboard later. I switched back to my old mouse. Computer loads super quick. There was some instructions on how to change the RGB lights, it sounded like there was supposed to be a remote in there to change it or change it via the motherboard there wasn’t a remote in there, but I didn’t care. I will update at later date if any quirks arise.

Solid gaming PC, low on frills

I’ve been using the product for the better part of two days now and can say that it functions very well out of the box. I had no issues with shipping or packaging and everything was in place on arrival.The OS booted correctly and quickly and the SSD is working well. Everything software-wise, including the RGB effects, are working very well.The only issues I have are some small details, the motherboard is not fully attached to the case, it’s not noticeable unless you apply to much force but it definitely wiggles more than I would want it to. In addition, as other reviewers have mentioned, the “Caution: Tempered Glass” sticker is basically impossible to remove, and fairly frustrating.Long story short, I’ve enjoyed this PC very much so far, I just wish that there was a way to fix some of those small issues. However, I did get this PC on sale for $899, and for that price especially it is great value for money.

Great budget gaming rig

I bought this rig to replace my previous iBUYPOWER pc that I had for several years. The motherboard in my old rig got damaged during my last move, but prior to that it ran without any problems.This pc runs silently and without any issues so far. The case is simple yet stylish and the tempered glass side looks really cool. The only issue that I have is that the blue and green controls for the rear fan LED’s were accidentally swapped, so when I try to control all the leds at the same time the rear fan changes blue instead of green and vice versa. It can be individually controlled, so it’s merely a slight inconvenience and falls well into the category of “first world problems”.Games run beautifully, currently playing Fallout 4 on max settings with multiple graphics enhancing mods. Getting a consistent 60fps.Overall, a great rig. Will definitely buy from iBUYPOWER in the future.

Came ready to go and ready to rock

I haven’t had a gaming rig in about 7 years since graduating college and I wanted to treat myself with this little guy. After enough research I decided that this was a fairly good deal, could handle pretty much anything you throw at in the realm of gaming, and multitask with the best of them.I settled on this because quite honestly 1500 bucks is going to get you more, but, me personally, I dont need more. I’m okay with what this is and what it can do, and the fact that I ordered it on Monday (8/19) and it arrived today (8/21) midday means so much. If I had gone to the next tier down, say the 700-800 range I would be sacrificing either on the CPU or GPU and that was not my intent as “TREATING MAHSELF”.Anyways, super stoked to get ripping on this thing and give an updated review in a few months with some more gametime/processing time under my belt.

Impressive for the price

While always skeptical about buying pre built PCs, this one caught my eye. The value per part and profession name made me go ahead and take the jump and risk. So far I have not regretted anything. Beautiful RGB, fast processor, great graphics card(for 1080p). So far, no overheating, quiet fans, and amazing connection speeds. I’m very happy to say that this is worth every penny.

Great desktop for graphics and video work

My old desktop was acting up so I decided to get a new one. After a couple of weeks of using it I’ve been very happy with my iBuyPower Trace 2. I haven’t used it for gaming yet but have used it for Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premier Pro where it’s performed excellently. All three applications launch immediately and it handles even complicated multi-layer photo manipulation with ease. I can have all three apps running at once without any slowdown when my old computer would choke at times if I tried it with two.I was also pleasantly surprised at how smoothly the transition was from my old ASUS desktop. I was dreading the migration process after the last time I had to swap out my main desktop but it was very easy with the Trace 2, partly thanks to the lack of bloatware but also because it was quick to boot up and instructions for setup were very easy to follow.I also like its relatively understated case compared to a lot of flashy gaming PCs. The only issue I had with mine is that it didn’t come with the software to control the case lights pre-installed but once I downloaded it and set the lights to a nice shade of purple I was happy.In other reviews there were a lot of complaints about the “Tempered glass” sticker being hard to remove. From previous experience with stickers on the glass of my cars I stuck a hair dryer on my unit’s pane and it came off extremely easily so I recommend doing it that way.Overall, very happy so far with my new desktop.

Great Starter

This PC is exactly what I was looking for. It has solid specs and came prebuilt. It has definitely taken my gaming to the next level and I highly recommend for anyone who wants to start somewhere with PC gaming. Packaging was great, everything arrived in perfect condition. No complaints.

Great performance within the $1000 budget and great customer service

Let’s start with the bad, 3 months into ownership power supply failed.Promptly called tech support and they required me to send the pc to them in California and they performed a diagnosis and fixed the issues. No questions or run arounds was very satisfied with the customer service I received.

Great Machine

This was quite an upgrade from my previous desktop. The specs are just as advertised and it is very quite. It does not come with a remote, but it doesn’t really need one to work. As others have mentioned, it does have a sticker on the side of the glass panel that is somewhat difficult to remove, but after using a razor blade and some Windex it was perfect.
