5.0 out of 5 stars Great so far!
I’ve had this for a couple of days, now, and no problems yet. Of course, I don’t think it can run high demanding games too well… unless you have a good monitor and a Ethernet Cable. That’ll help. I definitely recommend getting a external hard dive for storage, which isn’t too much of a big deal! I do want to say that in the windows tab it has Disney +, tiktok, and etc. This pc runs games like minecraft, roblox, and other fun games nicely! For the price- it’s a 100%. I hope to come back and write another review in a week or two!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a Gaming computer
Its a nice computer but its defiantly not for gaming i tryed to play forza on it and its way to slow for it. It would shine more at being a work computer. I would recommend saving the money and buy a more expansive gaming pc if that’s what you plan on doing.

Worth every penny only con is the mouse it comes with is cheap so temporary use till gaming mouse comes in

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Decent CPU to use for Game development.
I jumped right back into UE4 /5 with this after my regular work cpu took a dump. Compiles shaders quickly, the wifi bandwidth is good, and I’m consistently running at 60fps on our most demanding titles developed in UE5.No complaints…just need more RAM, 8gb in 2022 is a joke. I would give it 5 stars if it had more modernized auxiliary specs. Also, some reviews have said that the parts are different than advertised. Didn’t happen with me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good computer for the price!
My one complaint is already being handled by the seller so amazing customer service. The computer’s specs are good for the price to be honest. I can do exactly what I need to for work, and I can do some light gaming on it which wasn’t the point of the purchase. The look of the computer, in my opinion, is gorgeous! I love the green light and the way it looks near my desk; I appreciate how everything runs so smoothly and the process to set it up was super easy!10/10 recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars Great baseline gaming PC.
Very please with it’s performance. Can handle 99% of PCVR games, but…Runs PCVR games, some new ones can be a bit framedrop-ish… but if you lower the performance setting in game. It makes them playable for sure. Half Life: ALYX VR, ASSETO CORSA VR, WRATH VR, BOARDERLANDS VR…For non VR games, it can run anything. It runs very smooth. If you’re on the fence, go for it! You’ll not be disappointed!

Im not a 4k 4,000 fps nerd. Im a casual gamer that also uses his computer for work. And this computer delivered. Ive play indies games all the way up to warzone and the computer took it. Heck, runs warzone at 60-80fps on medium settings. I know that isnt the best. But that certainly isnt the worst.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome and fast
Be sure to go in your settings and adjust the graphics for each individual game to run one ryzen 5000 or radeon 5000 whichever it is and this pcs an absolute monster for the price. I was just about to return and figured out how to manually change the graphics it uses. Default it sets to let windows decide and hardly anything will run. Change that and your in the game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable Value!
Even though I did not finish all of my tests yet, this PC is a keeper for me. If I were to build it myself with parts and software, I would have spent three times more. Also, it is near impossible to find a good looking PC case. The majority of them are disgustingly ugly… For the money, I would give HP five stars for this. I just upgraded the memory with an additional 8 GB. It seems stable so far (Crucial). POSITIVE: 1. Excellent price for what you get, 2. Very capable CPU and GPU, 3. Extremely low noise, 4. Indeed very good looking for a PC, 5. Front USB ports, 6. Small footprint. NEGATIVE: 1. It comes with a stupid sticker attached to the front of the case. Luckily, you can easily remove it without any damage to the beautiful case, 2. It comes with some stupid “trial software.” Please trash them all—especially, “anti-virus” BS. These “anti-virus” software products are the very viruses themselves! Just trust Microsoft’s own protection. That’s all you need!

4.0 out of 5 stars AMD is OK but for the money is it GREAT?
Not ‘necessarily’ an HP Hardware issue or an issue with choice in Architecture components. Its simply that AMD drivers and Windows 11 do not work. Its more Windows 11; overwriting the AMD Adrenaline driver and more Windows stuff. For some reason I can’t get the Hardware ‘decoder’ for HEVC H.265 to work.I’ve have numerous Driver issues since opening the box.Performance and hardware wise this machine is good for the money, its quite, I CANT STAND The Green LED; and you have to install YET more HP bloatware to shut off the light. You Cannot do it through the BIOS.Overall; it works well with AMDSynch TV’s , the HDR Works as intended. the HEVC works as well but I cannot tell if its hardware decoding or not; (perception wise, there is no way to tell if its improvement or not to have hardware decoding if I can’t get it working to compare for myself)There are no features this unit is lacking that I need. USB-3 transfer rate is upwards of 90MB and thats my external drive limitation. The SD-HDD; runs at about 300MB-400MB Read;and the write Speed between SD’s Will start off at 400MB and AVG to 200MB for large copies. That could also be my SD limitation; I’m running M.2 as my Second SD.Note: Again I have massive issues with Windows 11 file “optimization” and File Explorer. This is most likely NOT hardware. Windows will not delete certain file types and other Known issues not patched yet.I’ll Boot Linux and find out, but I don’t have the space or time right now for Dual Boot.I upgraded the RAM; it cost me $80. factor that into your purchase.you need 16gigs unless your just a ‘word . ppt’ person. if you do Data Sci, PowerBI, Gaming; etc… you’ll want 16gigs with this rig.NOTE : Make sure to get the correct RAM. or you’ll slow your machine down.No use spending more money to slow down your machine.GAMING; I’ve not gamed with this. But reviews state its good for the money; and performs just as good as a console. For specific games; it can be slightly better, if you can get all the drivers and features lined up. and you only play that game.I don’t see any machine having a dual purpose as a gaming machine useful under $1500 market price for needs; and honestly I’ll just wait for the next console. The DEV is not there and never will be, gaming is dev for the console first. Industry standard for me.Anyone wanting to take advantage of AMD Platform and integrations on budget should just know that for all the work; you get Average; …No machine under 1500 will give you more FPS than AVG no matter the marketing or tweaks. Console for games, PC for PC stuff. PC for console stuff = sad ; you can’t put time back in the box.NETFLIX , AMAZON, Streaming:Does all these things with 4k HDR+10; and Digital audio.Amazon streaming is recommended through the TV native app; or a Fire Stick; as Amazon will go to war. It will not stream Prime HDR10+ 4K on windows with Chrome. Even after I took great lengths with specific hardware purchases down to the wire; Could not get it to work; the Hardware is capable. The device is advertised as ‘theoretically’ capable.OFFICE:aside from hardcore Tensorflow; this machine is Far capable of all office and Business Inelegance reporting.VIDEO Editing and DEV:If you’ve read this far; turn back now. it will do DEV, it will host ENV’s (with ram).It will run AI video stuff and DaVenchi; I do a lot of Lossless Cut, GIMP, and Handbrake; it works great for this. Can you take an ML Model and train it on this? or Dev with Unity? …Eh’ you ‘could’ do some light DEV.Its faster than an intel of 5 years ago.Running Stockfish on analysis with Nibbler; tis faster than my Tablet for sure; but honestly not $650 faster for that extra 40 seconds it takes to find a novelty. Now that I have a tablet and this machine; I don’t find myself running to this machine just to analyze or train. If you have a non-gamer machine your fine. This machine is for Steam, Stream, and Budget. It checks all boxes well. Can’t fault HP for windows stuff. But 4 stars for needed to install bloatware to shut of an LED.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good starter gaming PC for reasonable price.
Gives good performance for most games. I have the 8GB RAM model and it runs Death Stranding on medium graphics smoothly. However, it sometimes struggles with more demanding games such as God of War and may require you to downgrade the graphics for a smoother experience. If you want to run these more demanding games with excellent graphics and performance, the 16GB model seems like the ideal choice. If not, the 8GB model is still a good PC and can be upgraded later if you find it lacking. Overall, this PC provides a lot of value for a low price.

5.0 out of 5 stars good gaming pc for the price.
ive been a pc gamer since 1994,and this hp gaming pc is good for gaming at 1080p. you can play everything with more memory, i got 32 gb memory and it flies, and my amd radeon rx 5500 is pumping 1950 mhz with overclock, and stays coller then my old pc’s gtx 1650 from radeon software, and the pc was good support from hp. i also got a bonus it came installed with win 11 home, and i have no problems with it. it visuals for dvd are excellent but you got to buy a cheap dvd player, and good for web browser and streaming just a good gaming pc overall.

Seems to like and has held up so far no problems

  18. ArcticTropic

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect out the box
Upgraded from my gaming laptop into this bad boy and honestly as been serving me really well. Plays many games out the box, and many need a few tweaking for the heavier titles. Now there are a few notable changes required if you want to run games fairly well. For example, the upgrade to RAM and Storage is a given, but you HAVE to downgrade to Windows 10. The PC comes with Windows 11 which does not fair well with AMD processors, something that this PC has. You will see a large spike in performance boost simply by reverting to Wins10. The provided keyboard and mouse are good temporary parts that should be upgraded if you’re a gamer. If games are taking too much power and heating up the PC, take advantage of Super Resolution and limiting the FPS cap. This is noticeable in games like Halo Infinite. The PC is recommended to use a 60hz monitor, go with caution for higher rez monitors. If you need a great starter PC, this is a great option, especially if you get them used – like new.

4.0 out of 5 stars Incorrect description – but a good unit
According to Specs: “ 4 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 (front), 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C (front), 4 x USB 2.0 (rear), 1 x HDMI, 1 x headphone/Microphone combo, 1 x DVI-D, 1 x DisplayPort”Actually has 1 HDMI, and 2 display ports. No DVI-D. So think of that when ordering and you have DVI monitors.Just arrived, so can’t comment on the unit yet. Will know in 2 days when my Display Port to DVI cables arriveUpdate 11/16/23:Immediately removed the 8gb ram stick and added 2 16gb DDR4 3200 sticks. Computer is quick and has no issues. Still had to get Display Port to DVI cables – but once installed, had no issues at all. The built in HP Omen Gaming app had to be used to turn off the awkward green LED on the front. The power button and headphone jack as slightly recessed into the case, I had to use a pen to power it on. But minor things.4 out of 5 because of incorrect descrption.

4.0 out of 5 stars I wasn’t sure at first.
This is my first foray into a “gaming computer” and this is considered an intro model. The price was right so I thought I’d give it a go. I was a bit disappointed because it didn’t seem as though it didn’t do much better than my older computers used for graphic design. However, I noticed that it had only 8gigs of RAM, and the graphics processor is shared with the main processor so 8 gigs are not enough. So I bought more going from 8 to 32. What a difference that made! It is upgradable beyond just that. I think bigger fans would help. I still think the price point is good even with the purchase of additional RAM. After a month of using it almost exclusively, I am enjoying it more with each passing deay.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great gaming system for the money!
I really like this computer, the AMD setup is much cheaper than Intel and is really solid. The only complaint I have is the small memory included of 8GB which was troublesome so I went to 32 GB and it runs MUCH better. Also it comes with Windows 11 which gave me problems from the get-go so I quickly installed 10 and guess what, it’s perfect! Far more solid than 11. I really love this system. For getting into PC gaming or more experienced people alike I think it’s a great system, except for the low memory which can be cheaply upgraded.

    4.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t have a DVD player….. Windows 11 doesn’t support one.
The Ryzen by itself seems to be in excellent working order. Comes with windows 10 but is was instantlyupgraded to 11. Windows 11 is one of the main reasons it 4 stare and not 5. It seems like windows (compared with win 7) wants to lock you in a box and take over your machine, and turns in to a advertising billboard. Microsoft constent attempts to sell its products or makes you use them (outlook, EDGE, omen, widgets…..ect.).Games use to be free solitary..mineswipe and others..no longer exists. The machine itself does not have a DV media play… (microsofts way of forcing you to down load and of pay for downing loading content). In short, Windows 11 is a corporate money maker not a fun tool to expand your imagination or experiment with.

4.0 out of 5 stars its good for begginers.
i got mine about a 4 months ago maybe? i changed a few things inside, but what sucks is that you cant customize it that much, since the mother board it custom made by HP, it means you cant change the case without getting a whole new motherboard, which goes for about $160. and the newer graphics cards cant fit bc of the small case, but other than that its perfect.

4.0 out of 5 stars 8GB is not enough RAM
As the title suggests, I had difficulty running any kind of new game on my PC without experiencing lag and dip of frame rate. This is not a major issue as RAM is one of the easiest and less expensive upgrades you can make. The PC comes with enough slots to be upgraded to 16GB of RAM. I bought this PC with the intention to play games and run CAD for 3D modeling and code slicing. When I upgraded the RAM to 16GB, the PC ran like a dream. If I could do it over, I would look for a PC with more available GB slots but 16GBs serves me well enough to be satisfied with the purchase.
