Great product, but wait for a sale

This PC is amazing, Lightning fast, awesome customization options, and the mouse and keyboard are amazing. I wasn’t able to change the colors on the mouse so if someone knows how to please let me know. I also got this on sale for $1299.00. I don’t think it is worth it at $1699.00 but that’s just my opinion.

    Wonderful great gaming PC

Wonderful great gaming PC. However I wish it had more USB ports. I need more for wireless devices, printer. I will need to purchase additonal USB plug box. Or will have to keep changing out

    everything as advertised and more.

My old pc broke down so I did a lot of looking I could not find anything offering more bang for the buck elsewhere. After i bought it I was even more impressed then I expected to be I am a gamer so I like my system to preform. soon after I got it going I bought witcher 3 and I have 220 hours on that new and I am running all the settings on full tilt and it runs amazing. So much so my wife now wants one of her own.

Had a couple issues but Acer did their best to remedy them. Had to send it back twice though.

Very Compact And Sturdy For The Prudent Student Or Gamer With The Predator By ACER Cyber Spacer

This is a great machine right out of the box, however, I upgraded to the 64GB RAM once IT arrived. I have loaded almost every Microsoft Program on IT and it runs smooth and efficient and very compact and well engineered. ACER Developed an ACE In The Cyber Space Chase!

Super quiet and superb performance. Dual Power Brick. May not able to handle 4K ultra settings at 60fps in GTAV and Witcher 3

This machine is super quiet even running Overwatch, GTAV, the Division, Witcher 3 at Ultra Max out settings at 4K. I can get consistant 60 fps @ 60 Hz on my LG 27UD88-W 4K monitor. GTA V running at 1080p can ultra out all setting and still maintain 60 fps. However, it takes a significant hit at 4K, dipping down to 20fps. Anyway, if you want to know more about the performance, go check out the benchmark on GTX 1080.For the price, I would say you are paying for the compactness and the Predator G1 alien exoskeleton armor design. It’s not top notch performance but it’s also not top notch cost. Don’t expect any overclocking either. However, I really enjoy the included RGB mechanical keyboard and mouse. I also like the retractable hanger for gaming headphones on both side of the system, so I can hang my headphone on left or right or even both sides depending on how you position your Predator. There is an empty expansion bay for 2.5″ SSD or HDD. The included USB 3.1 Type-C port and SD slot are absolutely amazing. However, there is still a DVD drive not Blu-Ray which is kind of dissapointing. That compact optical bay is just the type that is used in standard notebook. I think that slot can be replaced with another SSD with a rack. The power brick is a combination of two separate gaming notebook AC units, each at 230W, total 460W. Both AC adapters are mounted on a black and red rack, which really converts a cumbersome power brick into something fancy and cool looking. The Asus G20CB also has similar power brick design, makes me wonder if Acer and Asus are copying each other. Both the Predator G1 and Asus G20CB are very similar in terms of compactness and internal hardware design. Both are VR ready. I would prefer the Asus G20CB for the exteria appearance; although the Predator G1 also looks cool with more lighting options especially the exoskeleton armor-like exteria. However, Asus G20CG lacks SD card slot, where the Predator has the SD card slot and one USB 3.1 Type-C in the front while Asus has one USB 3.1 Type-C in the back. I wish the Predator G1 also has thunderbolt 3.The RGB lighting is exceptional. Fully customizable via the PredatorSense. You can change 3 Lighting zones: the Logo, V Badge, and Highlights LEDs.- Logo Light Patterns: Marquee (Flashes quick and slow), Pulsing (Slow like breathing), None (Solid)- V Badge: Meteor Showers (Lights move from top to buttom quick), Marquee (Left to right, then right to left), Pulsing, Music (React to system sound), None (Solid)- Highlights: Marquee, Pulsing, Music, and NoneFinally, if you are not too concerned about the upgradability, and care about compactness desktop setting for VR and extreme gaming, the Predator G1 is a very competitve selection.

Great value for a higher end gaming config!

Wow… this machine screams. Also had a nice, small footprint that doesn’t take too much space in the office. Highly recommended!

Acer is back at it again!

I’m becoming a huge fan of Acer! Two years ago I got a Acer Aspire V17 Nitro – Black Edition 17″ laptop. (GTX 860M) I got it on a great sale and at the price nothing else could really stack up to it specs wise. After two years of owning it I can safely say it’s been my best laptop experience to date. Great performance, never overheated, and the display was great. Portable gaming at its pinnacle. Then this year I was wanting to up my game after I saw that the 1080 GTX had been released. I did a bit of research on the costs of the parts I wanted to use in a rig that I would build myself. I ultimately decided to try Acer’s Predator prebuilt desktop computer because the price was right and I have faith that Acer can put together some great gaming equipment. I’ve only had it for a day now and I’m still waiting for my new monitor to get here, but it seems pretty solid so far!Within minutes of unboxing it I had it all set up and it was downloading my favorite games off of steam! I purchased The Witcher 3 in order to really see what this graphics card is capable of. After I try it with my new monitor I will try to update this review!Excellent job Acer! 5 stars**UPDATE**After setting up my new ASUS PB287Q 28″ 4K/UHD monitor I got to playing The Witcher 3 and it is seriously living up to the hype! The graphics are amazing and the depth of the game is astonishing. After playing a lot of Witcher I played a few games of Dota 2 and it’s fantastic. The 4K resolution makes me feel like I’m almost cheating because I have a much better field of view. Landing Pudge hooks was super easy in my Ability Draft games.I tried playing some CS:GO but I almost felt like I was wasting my time and insulting this new rig with something so low resolution natively.Anyway, this computer is amazing and I hope that it continues to do as well as it has been and lives as long as my Acer laptop did. Thanks again Acer, you’re killing it.

Awesome machine, very happy with the performance and how quiet it is. I have been playing The Witcher 3, GTA 5 and Mafia on this machine at top settings with no difficulties or issues. For the price with all the features and great hardware this machine has it is a great deal and I would happily recommend it to anyone. Also love how small it is, fits in with our entertainment center perfectly! A++++++++

Good if you don’t intend to upgrade any parts

A great pre-built gaming PC. (Writing after 2 years of use) Appearance-wise it’s nice, though the material could be better. Love the lighting effects. I dislike the two separate laptop power supplies that they added to maintain the small form factor. Performance-wise It runs pretty much every I throw at it, but be mindful. I am not gaming above 1080p. It will very likely struggle to hold high FPS above that. Upgradeability. Not recommended. The motherboard is custom so replacing anything outside of the RAM and processor fan is going to be a pain. The hard drives are basically non-removable. They are blocked by pins that are formed into the hard drive cage and getting it out requires breaking a part of the plastic that holds the outer aesthetic pieces on, but they do have a side slot if you want to add an extra 2.5 HDD/SSD.Biggest gripe. The cooling system really needs to be upgraded the temps are quite worrying under load.
