Got mine from Dell for $1300

The statements of no upgradability, runs hot, etc. are a little exaggerated.I bought the exact same machine for my boy, added a couple of fans, ram, ssd’s for storage and it’s blazing fast.Does it run warm? You bet it does! It’s a 3080.While the exhaust is hot it’s never throttled one time and runs war Thunder at well over 250fps, Gen Z looks like a movie. While you’re not going to take the Mobo and move it to a different box, I’m ok with that. Works just fine in the box it’s in.*looking to get another so we can play together (team work makes the dream work).Dell is well established for their Alienware products. Not sure why “with all the tube videos, etc.” someone would buy one and then complain about it. It’s a great machine.Does it have all the rgb, clear tubing, monster water blocks of a 6k custom? No it doesn’t. That’s not what this is.

Sketchy at first due to lack of inside pics

The pc seems pretty good so far. Was afraid it didn’t have storage upgrade capability. 1 tb of storage is pretty low, but I had extra storage from my old pc. Has 3 extra hard drives upgrades: 2 ssd, and 1 hdd. Doesn’t come with extra sata cables; has 1 for hdd slot. The keyboard that comes with it is alright; very slim.

    Almost great

Ryzen r7 5800-GTX3080-16gb ramSystem is mostly good. Reccomend swapping the intake fan for something nicer, also remove HDD bracket and install second intake. Disappointed it has a single 16gb stick of ram instead of 2×8, but it’s not a huge deal. Reccomended for someone that just wants to plug in and go

    Very Great Build!

It’s a good enough build and has overperformed above my expectations for what i’m throwing at it! Works great with Premerie Pro and runs pretty much every game (fortnite,COD Warzone, Spider-Man Remasterd, etc) at round 100-120FPS on high! Good pick up for price

Cheaper and easier than building your own

I recently purchased the Alienware r10 Ryzen edition desktop and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. One aspect that particularly stands out to me is how easy it is to update drivers and firmware. In the past, I used to build my own computers and found the process of updating drivers and firmware to be somewhat tedious. However, the Alienware r10 has made this process much more straightforward and hassle-free.The user interface for updating drivers and firmware is intuitive and user-friendly. Simply accessing the “Support” tab in the Alienware Command Center allows you to easily check for and install any available updates. Additionally, the Alienware r10 comes with the Dell Update application, which automatically checks for and installs important updates for the system. This helps ensure that your desktop is always running at its best and is protected against any potential vulnerabilities. One thing that I particularly appreciate about the Alienware r10 is that it is significantly cheaper and easier to set up than building a custom desktop from scratch. As someone who has experience building their own computers, I can confidently say that the Alienware r10 offers excellent value for its price. It has saved me time and effort while still delivering top-notch performance.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Alienware r10 and highly recommend it to anyone in need of a powerful and reliable desktop computer. The ease of updating drivers and firmware is just one of the many features that make this desktop a standout choice.

Definitely a great PC for gaming

So i was shopping around for a pre built gaming pc and a lot of the people i talked to tried to scare about all pre built pc are no good . But after doing some research and finding out what i was needing this machine checked all the boxes its 16gb ram , 1Tb ssd , liquid cooled 3080 graphics card and for the price it was the best deal for me . So I finally pulled the trigger and bought it .Once it came in the set up and start up was a breeze especially if you have Microsoft cloud. I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review to ensure no hiccups. Well so far so good every game i bought so far i can run at max or ultra settings no problem at all , getting max FPS with a 240hrtz Samsung odyssey monitor i haven’t noticed any loud fan noise either . I highly recommend this pc if you are looking into it best bang for the buck .Note Get yourself a nice gaming keyboard and mouse beforehand the ones included are just basic . It will get you through start up and configuration but you’ll need something better for gaming .

Great Computer If You’re Willing To Work On It

Watched and read several reviews prior to purchase. Most complained about airflow and cooling issues. I purchased 4 Corsair ML120 Pro fans and replaced the stock fans and installed two additional (one more on the aio and another on the front) to improve cooling while reducing noise. I also removed all of the internal brackets that I did not intend to use which removed potential airflow blockages. I also saw several reviews that suggested redoing the thermal paste application on the cpu and the 3080 gpu. I have had no problems with cooling since these changes. I also added an additional M.2 drive using a PCI adapter making this a 3TB SSD machine. None of these changes were difficult but did require some knowledge and skill. Overall it has become a great mid-level gaming PC that has played anything I’ve thrown at it on Ultra/Extreme settings.

    Exceeded my expectations

Really easy to do minor improvements like storage expansion and RAM, and has yet to fall below 60fps on anything I play on it

    Fell in love…

The minute I started up this PC I fell in love! Upon opening it I was greeted by a keyboard and mouse along with a power cable. Under that is the PC which was wrapped very well and looked of high quality. I opened it and the PC itself was pretty heavy and very premium feeling. Hooked it up and got the updates and drivers done. Played a few very high usage games and it handled it like a champ (without the OC) I was getting 100 FPS on Ultra graphics in BeamNG. I was getting 120-140 with it overclocked. I played for a little bit and monitored the temps. The standard fan curve is not the best so I made my own which allowed it to stay cool for longer but a downside is it makes a little bit of noise. People said the PC was a very inefficient design and how it was not good for airflow but heat rises and leaves the upper fan. The intake fan itself is very powerful and can pull in a ton of air. After playing BeamNG for a while I checked on the Avg temps and all the fans averaged 50-60 degree celsius which normal max temps are around 75-85 celsius. The GPU averaged 50-60 celsius Max, and the CPU averaged 25-40 celsius. Overall the design seems to be keeping it cool and the powerful GPU and CPU are allowing it to stay in power. If you ask met this is a win win computer, good for gaming, work, video editing, streaming, etc. Again the only downfall is the fan noise but if you can tolerate it then this would be the PC for you!

    Good quality, great price.

I’ve been very happy with the R10. It looks great, if a little big. It runs every game I’ve tried flawlessly at max settings, notably RDR2 with visual mods had no problems. I must say though, occasionally windows doesn’t load properly on start up. After restarting it always boots up as it should, but it’s something to make note of. Also, I would recommend a RAM upgrade, but I’ve yet to do that myself and I’m still happy with the performance so it’s not something urgent.Overall at around $1600, especially with the GTX 3080 inside, this is a pre-built that should be on your radar if you’re looking to buy.

No issues at all. Runs like a beast.

This machine is very quiet, very fast, very sturdy and very reliable. Quite compact too; it’s able to get all that and keep it cool in a relatively small and well engineered space. I have not had a SINGLE issue at all since getting it; upgrading the RAM to 64gb was also a breeze.Even if you don’t trust Alienware for whatever reason, this one in particular is a steal.
