modular, sturdy, easy to build
Pros:- Easy to set up just following the documents out of the box- Came with plenty of hardware and some extra just in case you lose some, or want to add anything- Very adjustable, everything on the rig itself will move in any direction you want it to- I’ve had no issue at all mounting the pedals or wheel base. Plenty of mount point holes- I have yet to have any real issues with stability or sturdiness. There is a slight wobble but when you’re locked in it’s hardly noticeable.Cons:- The seat speakers are meh, they don’t sound the best and being Bluetooth they had a noticeable delay, but I swapped them out for 2 bass shakers which works out really well for a little seat feedback.- You can’t easily angle the seat if you wanted to. Could maybe get away with some longer bolts and some more washers if you wanted.- The shifter/brake holder wobbles a tiny bit, not bad – but if you have a real stiff shifter or e-brake it will move some.- Adjustments are a little rough, quite a few bolts to loosen just to do simple changes, but to be fair, it’s what helps with the sturdiness so it’s not the end of the world.Notes:- The monitor mounts mileage may vary depending on the monitor(s) you use. I used a 34in curved monitor and I had to find a way to get the mount brackets to play nice with the weird bubble back side of the monitor (not an issue of this product), but i got it to work out fine with some longer screws.- I didn’t like the distance the monitor stands are set if you follow the docs, BUT it’s adjustable so I just slid the monitor stand closer. Though this does also make the pedal mount move it’s anchor points, but that has not been an issue. I can press on them and don’t feel any give on the mount plate.Overall, pretty good setup that comes with the monitor stand and seat for the price. I can definitely see me using this one for a while and just modifying things around it, since it’s pretty quality extruded aluminum.
