The power cable port on the laptop has a poor connecting, the error message “not charging properly” continuously appears whenever charging. Also the auxiliary port is very very loose, to the point where some jacks aren’t recognized.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for middle end gaming, with some struggles for more recent games
I’ve had this laptop for about a year and a half now, and it’s pretty great. However, I recently had to have the keyboard replaced entirely. The local shop I took it to told me, after they fixed it, that keyboard malfunctions are a common problem with this laptop, supposedly. It’s able to run many of the games I want to play, but its performance has lessened over time. Some games ran much smoother out the box than they do now. One such game is Sea of Thieves. That game ran just fine at ultra settings, easily maintaining 100+ FPS. Now, the game runs around 60 FPS and drops below that very frequently. In case the person reading this plays Fortnite a lot, this computer no longer handles that game well, since the start of chapter 4 and the update to UE5. I have Fortnite on minimum settings at 1920×1080 resolution, 50% 3d resolution in-game, and it barely keeps up to 60, even during lesser experiences like Fortnite festival. Save the World runs well enough though.

You get a ryzen 9, an rtx 2060 and a 1080p 120hz display, this is one of the combinations with the best performance per dollar. Out of the box, the PC worked perfectly for me without much tweaking, only problem I had was that it came with windows 10 home rather than pro, which for my case, needed an upgrade; hope it’s possible to ship pro versions in future. For the power it packs, this pc is thinner than most, definitely not MacBook pro thin but not much thicker than it, which is a definite plus; it’s also a lot lighter than my MacBook with markedly better performance – that ryzen chip trades punches with the i9 in the Mac and gpu performance isn’t even a question – for meI also like the fact that the pc comes with minimum bloatware, I didnt have to Uninstall anything at the very beginning, it’s a clean, well designed and properly executed piece of hardware, gold stars to AsusI love this PC but I objectively have two issues with it:1. The success rate of the fingerprint scanning-caching function is abominable – 6/10 times I genuinely have to enter my pin and 9/10 times I have to rescan my finger, usually a different finger to get through windows hello. I really hope that Asus has a fix coming in soon, if it’s a software related issue2. The backlight for the keyboard is uneven and if you’re in a well lit room, then it’s easier to see the keys with the backlight off. In my case, I use it late at night when I really need the backlight but otherwise by default it’s offFor price to performance, it’s a buy, right now prices are going down due to the upcoming 5000 series cpu and 30 series gpu models, if you’d want to wait for those, absolutely – from the looks of it, Asus has made a great pc even better in 2021, but nothing would beat the price for last year’s model.

I won’t write a lot because it’s a great laptop with a competitive price!And for me it’s the best you can buy write now!About my expectations:1. I didn’t expected a small scratch from the back!Which seems that I could have got an open-box piece. And if that is the case, it would be a disappointment!2. The battery ???? has a long lifetime which is good of course. But if you were doing your research without trying the laptop your self, you could find that they were exaggerating a little bit3. I really didn’t expected that there are versions do not include anime matrix but that didn’t bother me anyway because I would not go for it with an increase in ( price, available date, weight, thickness and whatever small wattage amount it would take)4. Finally, webcam. The second day I received the laptop, I needed to make a video call. Guess what, I spent almost an hour to check where is the cam ????I mean it would not bother them to add one even in keyboard like HUAWEI matebook d14 for instance!

El producto llego casi como esperaba, Mi novia me pidió esta laptop llego en fecha y le entregue. Para nuestra sorpresa se veía como nuevo y venia en el empaque original coinsidian todos los numeros de serie todo perfecto hasta que tratamos de ensenderla, creímos que no tenía batería y la enchufamos la dejamos unos minutos suficientes como para que enciendara pero la laptop seguía sin encender la desconectamos y la luz de batería quedaba encendido y empezaba a calentarse y no encendía el equipo lastimosamente no podíamos apagarla ni cortar la corriente porque no respondia tampoco al botón de encendido, en fin lo llevamos a un técnico lo más rápido posible y tuvo que desmontar el equipo y vio que la batería estaba mal conectada, el conector estaba mal puesto lo conecto bien y luego funciono perfecto. Lastimosamente por cuestiones de tiempos entre devolverlo o reparalo decidimos repararlo teniendo un costo extra pero desde la reparación va perfecto.Sugerencias: que los vendedores de 3ros realmente revisen y hagan un chequeo del equipo para evitar pasar malos ratos y quitarnos tiempo y dinero extra por falta de sus chequeo

Most compact laptop design.

Great Performance for the size and price – AMD Ryzen 9 is great.
Recommended, very powerful laptop with AMD Ryzen 9 4900hs, i cannot even imagine if the future model will be using the next iteration the more powerful AMD Ryzen 5900HX combine with a better video card, it will be a killer machine.There is no webcam, but i do not use the webcam in my laptop anyway.the only complain is the packaging, it came with a bigger box but not stuffed with air cushion, so the laptop packaging was moving around inside the bigger carton box during transport, i was actually worried when opening up the box, but luckily everything is good so far.

Solid Laptop, beat expectations
This is an amazing laptop. I saw the reviews saying black screen/blue screen. Mine is quit good, never run into any issues. Really really happy about the purchase. I switched from Mac to Windows and I am quite impressed by how much better windows system are nowadays.My MacBook pro 2017 costed me $5000, broke after 3 years of using and Apple was quoting me $1000 for changing motherboard, I paid and get a new motherboard, and it stop working after two months. I was really angry that they made motherboard hard to repair and the only thing you can do is pay and change it. That’s how they make you buy their new products, saying “you can spend similar $$ to get a new MacBook Air”.I hope our society can favor durable products instead of creating waste for the earth. And Asus is an amazing brand for making durable products.

I switched from a MacBook to Windows, and I I’m very impressed with the G14 gaming laptop. For its price it’s definitely worth it, worth nothing it has the Ryzen 9, which is awesome. Very smooth and fast performance. I highly recommend this laptop as this is the best value you can get!

The laptop goes crazy when you play games on it- the fans are doing work but it’s very loud. Not sure why it’s asking for a touch screen rating because it doesn’t do touch screen.
