Amazing Bang for your Buck!
This piece of hardware is rock solid! Got it for an absolute steal of a price…<$1700! Beautiful screen, good weight, and decently minimalistic. Gave it a storage and ram upgrade and it runs amazing! Top Rated games run smooth and crisp and it isn't as loud as some of my older laptops. A few things to note:- Battery is pretty average, it has a couple hours max at full capacity usage.- The Function Key Logos DO NOT light up on the RGB keyboard, so kind of difficult to see what you're pressing in the dark if your playing/working.- There is a display port instead of a 2nd HDMI port, a bit of a downside in my opinion but not a deal breaker at all.Otherwise it's a high 4.7/5, if those gimmicks were addressed, it would have been a solid 5/5.Definitely worth the buy! Hope this helps. 4 people found this helpful

A Monster on competitive games(CS:GO,Fornite,Valorant ETC)
This laptop is amazing, My major priority is competitive games like Fornite,CS:GO,Valorant and I got to say that this is a beast for all types of games. In fornite i get 360 fps stable in battle royale + those 360hz are making the game super smoother, super responsive, almost nothing or none input lag. In my opinion a unique experience. I tested cyberpunk 2077 at ultra and i was getting 80-100+ fps just as expected. The cooling is one of the best i ever see for being a laptop, most of the time is at 45°, the highest I experienced was 55° and it was on cyberpunk 2077. OVERALL 10/10 one of the best purchases i ever made in 2024.

Alright
Ok. I had this laptop for like a month and 1/2.The beginning wasn’t easy. Be sure you have a decent internet connection to set it all up.Research about how to improve battery for when you’re unplugged (I could get 5 hours in youtube, and maybe more, i don’t really know exactly. You should know Gaming laptops are not for gaming unplugged, but that’s common) like for example switching from Nvidia graphics card to Intel when just browsing — unluckily you have to restart for that, but it’s nice to have itAnd how to get the better performance when plugged.Only issue I had (I read it happened to other people) was at the beginning, when I played a game like RDR2, after like 20 minutes working great, the wattage from cpu and gpu dropped drastically and I had to turn off the game (running 10fps) and restart PC. Happened twice. After that, never again. I suspect it was something related to the battery… maybe not well plugged (although I doubt that, but could be, who knows), or maybe related to Intel’s processors being faulted (it’s a 13th gen i7). I don’t know.Luckily, it didn’t happen again, so I enjoyed a lot of quality gaming. The 360hz look great and sharp. I played CS2, and everything alright. (280 stable fps, I wish it would hit that 360, but I really think I wouldn’t even notice)I also have a 1440p 180hz external monitor, and that works great too. (If you do this, buy a good quality mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort. The manufacturer says it only reaches 120hz but I tried and it works perfect with 180) Tweaking unnecessary advanced graphic settings, I get 110fps AVG in RDR2. That’s exactly how I like to play single player games, with a good 100 refresh rate. IMO it’s a better experience that way.Anyway. A great Gaming laptop. If you want to use it fully, I recommend a cooling pad, but don’t buy cheaper ones. I tried and it was awful. If you want something good get the IETS GT600. It’s really good, lowers temperatures 10/15 degrees.I’m gonna give it 4 stars. I want to give it 4 and 1/2, just because of the issue I had. If nothing like that happens in the next months I’ll put 5 stars.Really good performance. The performance should be as a desktop 4070.If you have the opportunity, I would maybe buy the 17X, which has 1440p resolution at 240hz. Although, this one’s great for Esports.

Es hermosa Bob Esponja????
The media could not be loaded.

Power cable too short.
It’s a great product over all. Definitely worth the money. But 2 things just stand out and Gigabyte must address them. First, the power cord form brick to laptop is too short. It needs to be 2x the current length.Second, the start button lights up with a large white lighted logo. This is distracting and can become a strain on the eyes, seeing that it’s a sizeable source of light right under the screen. Many people have to color it in or cover it with electrical tape. Please Gigabyte, you have a great product, fix these two issues. Then it will be even better.

Build quality blows my old Lenovo/HP out of the water.
I always liked Gigabyte mainboards, but wish I’d tried their laptops out earlier. The keyboard is nice with usable home/end keys, unlike my old HP. Also, this thing is put together very well. It’s much more solid than my last two laptops, which were an Asus and Lenovo. They’ve nailed it on the build quality.I am undervolting the CPU to 35watts and it does much better than stock, but I had to do that with my last couple laptops as well. The 4080 is great for running Mistral OpenOrca LLM with 12GB VRAM, and does very well with games like Cyberpunk or Starfield.

Very loud, decent performance.
The laptop is extremely loud. I had to enable windows registry setting to limit the cpu clock speed, end result was around 40db from the fans. I was comfortably playing Diablo 4 at 60fps with screen full of enemies and at max graphics settings and near silent fan noise. Battery life is somewhat weak, required laptop to be plugged in for good gaming performance. Speakers are extremely weak, lower your expectations from these speakers. Overall, this is probably the cheapest 4080(150watt gpu) laptop out there and don’t expect top of the line display, speakers, and performance.

Really powerful laptop.
I wanted a powerful laptop with a 13700HX series cpu so I could undervolt it. I bought this laptop instead with the locked 13700H model and a powerful RTX4080 12GB card as the price is to good versus the competition. The CPU’s heat and temps can be controlled using self adjusted intel XTU power profiles. I have no regrets buying the 13700H model. The CPU is really powerful when you learn how to control it. The GPU is a power house. The 1080p 360hz screen is fine for a 17.3 inch screen. All laptop owners should really invest in a good cooling pad to keep these really high powered GPU’s and CPU’s in check. This laptop is brilliant I would advise you to purchase one. This is my first Gigabyte laptop, well done Gigabyte.

Catch it on sale, enjoy some powerful gaming on the go
I picked this up during a sale when it was nearly $1000 off, so keep that in mind. It has been absolutely phenomenal for gaming. I put it up on a little riser to keep airflow, and it doesn’t sound nearly as loud as other laptops when running full throttle, so that’s a bonus. My ONLY real complaint has to do with connections and placement. For reasons that I will NEVER understand, the USB-C, USB-A, headphone jack, and POWER are all on the right side of the machine. It makes zero sense. All other ports are on the left. Other than that, this thing is a true gaming workhorse, and should last me for years to come.

Very good and capable laptop only if it didn’t crash as much on games
Very good on games and solid build with a mux switch. I’m just having occasional crashes after playing plugged after 45-1hr. I’m gonna give it a few more weeks and if it continues to crash I might have to reconsider. I got this laptop at a very good sale price but the savings won’t justify the amount of crashes I’m experiencing. It also is a loud pc with AAA games but that’s to be expected with a laptop in this category of specs

Rendimiento inestable debido a calentamiento
(No max) ???? . Los ventiladores son muy ruidosos debido a que trabajan al máximo para poder enfriar.
