4.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful motherboard
I used this motherboard for my first PC build featuring the Ryzen 9 7950x3D & Gigabyte Rtx 4080Super 16GB GPU.The ease of installation was good, it fit all my components including ram, my nzxt kraken aio cooler, and more gadgets.I loved the reinforced PCIE slot for gpu that is right under the NVME.2 slot. That saved my ass when I had to place a thick 4080 into my build. And it was stable enough to prevent too much gpu sag (although I will definitely be vertically mounting it at one point). The only qualm with this and I could put it to my lack of PC building skill probably was getting WiFi on this thing. You have to go on the manufacturer’s website and download the right one. I will update my review and place the link to it when I get the chance. But all in all this is one stunning mobo.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid AM5 motherboard, great features
Coming from a recently defunct AM4 board/build, this motherboard fits everything that I wanted from Gigabyte. Aesthetically, it’s beautiful as expected. It has ez-Features to make life easier for the building enthusiast. Great job!

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent mobo
This is my second GIGABYTE AORUS mobo I’ve bought over the years and it’s never let me down. If you’re a gamer, a SERIOUS gamer, you won’t be disappointed by this mobo. I highly recommend it!

4.0 out of 5 stars So Far ok
Note that wifi is not available for windows 10 for some reason. Otherwise the board has been doing fine. Looks absolutely fantastic. Very happy with the 5 m.2 slots (2 of which are pcie gen 5).

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost great.
Got this when it was on sale, and I feel the sale price was still a little too high. The specs are good, not great, and let’s be honest, if you get this it’s for the looks. The “white tax” definitely influenced the price. What’s missing? Audio. Having no outstanding audio on this premium board is a sin. No optical, no surround, no premium dac chips. Very budget sound on this board.I hope gigabyte improves this in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best X670e board around
Bought this to replace an MSI X670e MAG Tomahawk Wifi, which is on the other end of the spectrum as the worst AM5 board ever. I didn’t even reinstall Windows and all my issues have been solved. I’m not a fan of the white color but I have a large CPU cooler and GPU so I can’t see it anyways. I love how toolless the M.2 slots and heatsinks are. They just click in place and it’s very satisfying. I am also pleased with the amount of USB ports I have. I don’t need a lot of high speed ports but I have a few accessories to plug in and not needing a hub is great. I’m very happy with this purchase, even thought I had to spend another ~$250 to replace my first mistake purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works as advertised, Q-Flash BIOS installation as I expected
This motherboard looks and functions great. I read a lot of reviews of people having BIOS issues with this board, and what it boils down too is that you’ll need to install the BIOS fresh after installing a new CPU, I used the Q-Flash button and usb port to install the F20 BIOS because I saw another review mention that F20 works. When using Q-Flash, be sure to rename the BIOS file gigabyte.bin, there’s some YouTube videos and other resources that will help you. Also use the memory support tab on this motherboards support page on Gigabyte’s website to make sure you get compatible RAM, I didn’t do this and got incompatible RAM at first. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the hassle it took to get it going, but every initial setup of a freshly built PC will have hiccups.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I needed
When it comes to this mother board I was amazed. I love how clean the white paint on it looks and when you power it on with their logo name being lit up with rgb makes it even better. This motherboard has a decent amount of usb ports I can plug in everything I need in the rear and still have more slots for my other usbs. The performance on this mother board is better than anything I’ve used before and I def would recommend this brand if you want a solid build. The booting doesn’t take long at all it’s super quick and I’m surprised of how quick it goes. The stability on this motherboard is amazing it doesn’t move a single inch in the case and it doesn’t seem to have any problems when it comes to running anything and holding anything in.

3.0 out of 5 stars Non-trivial steps to setup wifi
It’s a beautiful looking mobo, however, it requires non-trivial effort to make the wifi working, if you do not have an ethernet cable available. This board comes with wifi7 only, which only works with windows11 23H2, and you have to download and install the driver to make it work.So I have to (1) create the latest windows 11 install image, (2) use terminal to bypass the internet setup, (3) boot to the OS with limited access, (4) figure out which wifi chip it is and download the driver from a different device, (5) use the usb to install the driver. If you do not have an ethernet cable nearby to use, I would not recommend the hassle..

5.0 out of 5 stars Great motherboard
It is a great, very functional motherboard. I only returned it (not sure if it says that) because All gamers store was being very inconsistent with delivery estimates (seems to be a common occurrence for PC parts in general) and both my cpu and this board’s delivery got pushed back by weeks and I found out I could get next day pickup at Mircocenter allowing me to build my PC the weekend I had originally planned to do it. Anyways like I said, works great. It has buttons for the power/ reset right on the board for testing purposes so you don’t need to use the screwdriver method and even has led indicator lights for any errors with boot up. Another cool feature was the screwless spring design of the M.2. Drive standoff and heatsink. All you have to do is twist it for installation. The bios is very user friendly. Also love the white/ silver look and the logo led.

4.0 out of 5 stars It looks nice just need the gpu
If you chose this it was obviously for an all white build but either which way I love this board only reason i gave it 4 stars is because I had to download the WiFi and Bluetooth drivers

5.0 out of 5 stars Practically made of metal
This motherboard has some decent weight to it, but is built fairly well. While attempting to boot up i ran into an issue but was able to quickly identify why the computer wouldnt boot as the board has diagnostic light pertaining to each component, therefore allowing me to get it running properly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent piece for my arctic build
The media could not be loaded. I love its white color. It’s also very easy to snap in place NVMe disks under its heatsinks. Paired it without issues with a set of Corsair Dominator DDR5 6000MHz CL30 memory sticks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Upgrading from am4 took me 30 minutes
Worked right out of the box with my 7800x3d. Uses innovative clip design instead of screws for M.2 slots. Very cool although, I would worry about them being knocked out of place from bumps if transported often.

Me gusto mucho, la bios muy intuitiva. Aunque la entrega a Zipaquirá se demoró un poco más de lo previsto

5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive
Definitely pricey but worth it for a windows 11 build. I say that because if you try to run windows 10, like I did at first, wifi won’t work. So it needs to be in windows 11 for the built in wifi to function

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what the doctor ordered
The board itself is beautiful and feels very well made. I had no problems installing the board in a full Tower. The first boot took 30 seconds or so and everything was recognized in the bios right away. I flashed the bios to its newest version and installed windows. Memory runs solid at 6000mt/s. My only complaint are the high prices of these boards.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid Performance with a Premium Price: GIGABYTE X670E AORUS PRO X
The GIGABYTE X670E AORUS PRO X motherboard was packaged well, with all expected components included. The installation process was straightforward, with all components fitting perfectly onto the motherboard.Performance-wise, the motherboard met my expectations. However, I have reservations about manufacturers including WiFi on enthusiast boards. Ethernet provides a more stable connection, and omitting the wireless chips could reduce costs. For a board designed for enthusiasts, it’s safe to assume most users will prefer hard-lined Ethernet.Compatibility was excellent. My Noctua NH-D15 cooler from my older setup fit perfectly on the new motherboard. The BIOS is user-friendly and easy to navigate, although setting up the AMD Expo settings required a bit of research.Aesthetically, the motherboard is pleasing and fits well with the overall look of my build. However, when it comes to value for money, I feel the board is overpriced. While it caters to enthusiasts looking for top-tier components, there are cheaper alternatives that offer similar performance.Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase. Gigabyte produces solid components, and I decided to switch from Asus due to their increasing prices and perceived drop in quality. I would recommend the GIGABYTE X670E AORUS PRO X to those looking to go above and beyond in their build, but for those seeking value, there are more cost-effective options available.

4.0 out of 5 stars good motherboard, but expensive price
Overall, the motherboard is great for the average person or even the enthusiast. My only gripe is the lane sharing. If you populate any NVME slot after the first NVME slot, the top pcie slot (where you should put your graphics card in) gets its lanes cut in half going from x16 to x8. It wont drastically bring the down the performance of a graphics card but it can affect it minimally in certain scenarios.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seems OK, no issues…
It’s hard to review a motherboard since it either works and does what you need it to do, or it doesn’t.This one works fine for me. I’m not doing anything crazy with it, just a standard gaming PC with a twist.CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3DGPU: 3080tiSSD: 2TB WD SN850XRAM: 32gb Gskill CL30 DDR 5 6000I’m not using the onboard audio, I’m using a dedicated Soundblaster Z hooked to a Yamaha 5.1 receiver. When I’m using headphones, I’m using a USB DAC and amp. I’m also not using the onboard ethernet or wifi (seriously, why can’t we get motherboards without wifi anymore?) I’m instead using a Trendnet Aquantia based 10gb SFP+ NIC. Both of my PCIe add-on cards work perfectly. I was using an Intel X520 DA2, but that seemed to cause issues at boot that none of my other computers ever had. Take it out, and the system boots with no issues. Odd. Maybe a BIOS update in the future could fix that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nicely done.
I built a workstation with this board (not a gamer, a software developer). It is a great basis for the 9950x. One of my primary interests in this over other boards is 3 M.2 ports at Gen5 speeds, while others may only have 1 or 2.Beware the details. DDR5 RAM requires training, and most boards seem locked up, unresponsive while it happens. I installed 96 Gbytes of RAM not on the “approved” list (though good quality). The time training requires is related to the size of the RAM, and faster RAM takes longer than slower RAM to train. In my case the first boot looked like an RMA, either the RAM or the board made the first boot unresponsive for 15 minutes. That’s a long time to sit, waiting, but it is training. No display, no sound, no change in the debug monitor (on board LED codes)…seems like it won’t boot. There are numerous threads on various boards discussing what people describe as a locked up computer on first build. It is training.Once it booted it never trained again. The resulting system is among the best workstations I’ve ever owned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best white MOBO out there!
This is by far the best looking all-white motherboard I have ever seen. I debated between this board and the ASUS Rog Strix x870-A and this one really takes the cake. The all-white dim slots and pcie slots are very visually appealing, and the inclusion of all white cables is a nice touch. I am a fan of the minimalistic RGB on this board, as it’s just enough to not be overboard. There are plenty of M.2 slots to choose from, and the updated WiFi EZ-Plug is a nice touch! Great job, Gigabyte! Very excited to have my first all-white build once the 9800x3D hits shelves in November!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very easy to install.
This motherboard supports PCIE-5 and WiFi-7, while having an AM5 socket. I looked at its specs and it seemed to have everything I needed, so I went ahead and bought it. Everything on this motherboard is great, but I would mention a few things.Good:1. There are 2 PCIE-5 slots for SSDs. One is near the CPU, and the other is under a big white plate on the opposite side of the graphics card lane.2. All the M.2 slots have cooling pads on them, so your SSDs will run cold like they should.3. There are 4 RAM slots. This makes it really nice for future-proofing. If you want to buy 32GB (2x16gb) today and maybe upgrade to 64GB later, you can do that without worrying about the original cost of 64gb.4. The motherboard has 9 screws. This is E-ATX, but there are only 9 screws to install it, so it’s fairly simple.5. So many USBS on the back! You can plug in 8 devices, plus another port down below, and 2 high-power USB ports, making for a total of 11 USB-A ports. There’s also another USB-C port on the back.6. This motherboard supports RGB, and the AORUS logo lights up.7. There’s an internal HDMI port for putting a monitor inside your case. I don’t use it, but some of you might.8. There are 4 SATA connectors on this motherboard. SATA is starting to become obsolete, but I still have a 3 SATA disks from my old PCs that I plugged in because I wanted to keep them.9. AIO-ready. Just plug the AIO pump into the CPU_FAN connector.10. Wi-Fi 7. This is the future of Wi-Fi. Although you might not think about it since most companies are advertising Wi-Fi 6, this motherboard is more future-proof than others because it offers Wi-Fi 7. It even comes with a small antenna you can put on top of your case, which contains a really strong magnet to make sure it won’t go flying.Bad:- There’s only one internal full-size USB 3.0 connector, but my front I/O panel needed 2 of these to connect properly. This leaves my front I/O panel only half-operational, but it still works.- Naming conventions. For some reason, they decided to name the typical PLED and RESET differently. Don’t worry, they’re all on the left-hand-side of the front I/O panel connector (which is at the bottom right of the motherboard) if you’re looking at your motherboard with the processor in the upper left corner.- Integrated graphics does not support DisplayPort. I’m waiting for the RTX 5090 to come out since I plan to be working with LLMs and video editing in the future, so I didn’t buy a graphics card in the meantime. However, I noticed there’s no way to connect DisplayPort to the integrated graphics on the motherboard, which means that I had to purchase an HDMI cable that can support 240Hz. Not the end of the world, but the HDMI cable was considerably expensive since it needed to be HDMI2.1 and have a high transfer rate. If you have a graphics card (most of you should), then you don’t even need to worry about this, since you should be plugging your monitor directly into your graphics card, not the motherboard.Just connect everything like standard ATX, and your new PC will be ready in no time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good but pricey
This board is awsome in some ways but it’s also an x670E in a lot of ways . The chipset in the x870/x870e are just a refreshed x670 chipset . It does include usb c in the back that the x670 may not have but other than that it’s just a x670 with new software and bigger heat sinks . Don’t get me wrong it’s still a good board . It’ll actually post with 8000hz ddr5 unlike the x670 or most other x870 for that matter .

F21 Bios was a nightmare but F20 is stable and solid, using with 7800X3D, Trident z 6000 CL30 and 4090. Let’s be honest most people are going to buy this because it’s white. Very happy after rolling back Bios.
