Desktop Computer is very good- would be better without Microsoft messing with set up

Purchased a new computer after my home built computer took a lightning strike. Am surprised there are no DVD drives or knockput panels built in but will supplement with my Lightwave DVD-ROM Drive in an external box. Came with Windows 11 preinstalled to a point, with updates that had to downloaded via the Internet. Comes with a 1 TB SSD drive and 32GB RAM. The only fly in the ointment was the lack of documentation for using other browsers other than Microsoft Edge, of which I am 100% against, despite, a their ad compaign. I so much prefer Google Chrome, but Microsoft does not allow easy access for change. Another issue with Microsoft is not recognizing legacy hardware items like an HP Deskjet 4360, or an Epson V100 Photo Scanner, and the fact that I have those install DVD/CD disks in my possession did not help. Same on you Microsoft! Not everyone can chuck out a few thousand bucks espwcially when gas is $5/gallon at present. Thank God I have patience.
