Support non existent
I’ve purchased a Minisforum B550 on the official Minisforum website, but writing here just for gg’s regarding their zero support. That’s just a Chinese company BESSTAR TECH LIMITED located in Hong Kong, MinisForum is their trademark. So don’t expect anything in regards of updates, bios fixes, etc! I just sent ’em a request to clarify what is the best approach to fit 4090 in there, or of there are planning to release an updated bracket – answer is hilarious, very much expected – AliExpress style. So yeah. Just be warned. (check screenshot of the answer attached).To be honest, B550 works great – zero issues for me, for me, doesn’t overheat or something, I’m running it with 2NVME m2 drives and one 2TB SATA SSD, 64GB of RAM 3200MT kingston fury and RTX3080 as of now and upgrading to 4090 (when I find a metal craftsmen to cut the freaking bracket).

not cheap, but performance is good!
I think it could have been a bit cheaper.I can confirm I can run three 4k displays @60Hz.The USB4 ports support 4k/60hz.The Display Port does, too.I could not get the HDMI to do 60Hz, only got 30Hz, but maybe it was the cable?

Runs like a dream
This review is for the AD78 Ryzen 7 7840HS with 32 GB DDR5 and 1 TB SSD.I purchased this solely for a couch gaming machine. I installed Bazzite OS HTPC Version and am running steam. I formatted over Windows, so I can’t comment on how well Windows would run.This machine works flawlessly. Every connection and component is as advertised and impressive. My little machine boots in a hurry, and runs my games at a great framerate. It has been so good that I am thinking I might just throw out my old desktop at home and replace it with one of these.One note, since I couldn’t find it anywhere: to boot into the BIOS, use the DEL key.

Super Powerful, runs cool!
Had this running for about a week now, it runs very cool compared with Ryzen 9 6900HX, and performs even better, and better frame rates! I would recommend this computer. I do wish MinisForum had better documentation and support, but I can figure things out when needed.

Powerful just like a fast desktop
I am extremely pleased beyond expectations with this remarkable mini pc. The UM 890 performs as well as I’m used to with my DIY desktop with a 12700k and DDR4 RAM. Plus I get the advantage of so much freedom of space. The best part is the great support from Minisforum prior to receiving and during the setup of the unit. Great advice and guidance in a friendly personal manner. The unit itself has a neat magnetic cover to avoid having to screw and unscrew when adding or upgrading Ram or drives. They included the occulink adapter which I might use later on. Right now I’m getting perfect 4k 144 Hz display on and M32u 32″ monitor better looking then the 1080 Ti I was used to. Thank you Minisforum for a great product and service. I look forward to more.

was not able to install and run linux on it
I was not able to install linux, it says to disable the secure boot mode. but in the bios security settings, the secure mode settings is disabled.Finaly found the solution to make the bios changes. Installing the ssd on the port allocated for occulink.
