    Laptop is great

Laptop is powerful and it is feels. Under load the front panel below the screen is heats up stronger. But cooling system copes with everything. Touchpad shall be do differently. When you will be printing you often will be accidentally touching with your hand, and it will be changing text pointer to random place and it annoying. But it can be “fixed” via disable “Tap with a single finger to single-click” option in Touchpad system settings. And therefore, the touchpad should be like on MacBook with full clickable space and not only in the lower part.Sometimes after you close the lid and move the laptop to sleep state it continues some intensive work for a while. It noticeable by intensified cooling system. Maybe it Windows 11 peculiarity. Sometimes after it went from sleep state you will get strange periodically screen freezes is about 1.5 – 2 seconds during some time. During these freezes some anomaly behavior in task manager is not found. It’s very strange and unusual especially after macOS and Ubuntu use experience for a long time. But I’m sure the freezes have nothing to do with hardware and this is solely a system and software problem and may be to do with my settings changes.

    Simply Amazing

This is by far the best gaming laptop I have ever owned. The OLED display paired with gsync, an RTX 4080 a I9 14900hx and 32gb of ram makes this gaming machine a true joy. Really the only other option I would recommend is the OLED g16, but you will be loosing performance with the underpowered TGP and the I9 ultra processor. I just can’t rave enough about the new OLED laptop displays, they are amazing!!

    So far so good

The OLED screen is really beautiful. Cyberpunk and Hitman 3 really stand out on a screen like this. Razer’s updates to Synapse are very much welcomed. They added updated profiles for performance and fan speed. There’s a new EQ section that works okay, also. Synapse does forget to register the laptop and I have to restart the laptop. The Blade 16 is a bit overpriced, but I understood what I was getting into.

    Fast and beautiful colors!

I am not super savvy with computer stuff, but my brother is, and he told me that the laptop I had before getting this one, was so technologically backwards that its parts didn’t even exist anymore! So you might imagine the monumental step up this laptop has been for me. It was he who set it up for me, and he told me that the task was as easy or as difficult as your knowledge goes. Talking about my usage of the laptop, the very first thing that struck me is the great definition, and beautifully vivid colors of the screen! Now I feel like I was looking through a veil of white with my old laptop. The second thing I noticed is how much faster this laptop is! My brother says that in terms of velocity (because of the i9, whatever that is…LOL) this one is lightyears ahead of the one I had. And it show, this laptop has made my life so much easier, because I do a lot of image editing for my work, and it used to take so much longer than necessary… but no longer! Talking about the gaming capabilities, this laptop has been tested playing “The Last of Us – Part One” PC, which is a massive game; and it performed beautifully and smoothly. There was no teetering or crashing. However, when you are using a lot of power like that, the laptop gets very hot; so don’t actually put it in your lap. I would also recommend that when you play something big like “The Last of Us”, you do it with the laptop plugged into the electricity, because with that much demand, the battery will last little more than an hour. I wouldn’t list this as a fault, because (like I said) it is too great a demand. If you are using the laptop for office purposes, or to watch You Tube videos, the battery can last for some six hours. I would list as faults the following elements: First: The absence of the numeric pad on the keyboard has been a little jarring for me. Also the keys feel a little unsteady; but not all that much, this doesn’t really bother me. Second: The screen sometimes (just sometimes) exhibits a certain flickering, and I can’t explain to myself why it happens. Third: After you play something massive, you better turn off the laptop and let it rest; because if you don’t, even if you restart it, it often happens that the screen blacks out; if you are watching a video, you will still hear it, but the screen will be in absolute black. This happens mostly when you hit play again after pausing the video. The solution I’ve found is closing and opening the laptop; that has taken care of the problem everytime, so far. However these things I mentioned are not enough for me to subtract a star from this product, because I love it so much. I also love the look of it (sleek and modern), and the smooth feel of it in my fingers. Very happy, thank you Razer!

    Fantastic leading-edge gaming laptop

Sleek, durable design; I love the metal chassis. Great specs, excellent LED support. I added a Razer deathadder v2 keyboard, Razer gaming mouse, and a 4K@240Hz OLED external monitor that works at full tilt if you use the right cable, which really impressed me. Though the laptop’s own screen is pretty amazing. Perfect gaming experience when attached to the full setup, or great for sliding just the laptop into my work bag for gaming on the go when I travel.Gets really hot, but that hasn’t been an issue. There isn’t much driver or doc support on it from Razer. Some of the LED customizations don’t work right on the built in keyboard, because it’s TKL, but whatever.Love playing Baldur’s Gate 3 on this thing. Everything turned to Ultra, stutter-free, jagged-free, perfect 239.99fps in 4K.

A great choice for gaming laptops.

This laptop can perform very well with games ranging all the way from valorant to Elden Ring having no issues running the game. The only draw back is that the battery life is good although it last only for an hour or two and on average I play longer than that so it is a little inconvenient for me personally. The laptop doesn’t need a cooling pad but it is very recommended for when playing games such as Elden Ring.

    Does this get really hot?

I have the maximum specced 2022 Razer Blade Advanced 15″ and I love it. My only problem is the temperatures get extremely high. This 16″ laptop houses a very powerful hardware combo so I am curious as to how hot it gets.It looks like this is another megamachine from Razer. I highly recommend their products.

    Extraordinarily clear and sharp display

Razer Blade 16 (2024) Gaming Laptop has an attractive full metal body. One of the first things that I noticed is how lightweight it felt for its size. It weighs in at 5 lb 6.2 oz. and has a sturdy look and feel. The keys are comfortable to use and the RGB keyboard backlight provides a colorful display that appeals to a lot of gamers. However, it is not overly flashy and so would look appropriate in any setting. The speakers are on top, on both sides of the keyboard and the sound is very good. The specifications are as described and what one would expect from a gaming laptop in this price range. It performs well on the benchmark tests that I ran. The Intel Core i9-14900HX 14th Gen CPU provides the powerful performance that sophisticated games require. This 2024 model is Wifi 7 which allows me to take full advantage of my upgraded 8 GB fiber optic home network. This is a well designed gaming laptop that is loaded with features. This is the first Razer product that I got and I am favorably impressed when comparing it to other major brands. It’s a quiet laptop that is designed with a vapor chamber cooling system that manages heat well and does not get overly hot. The webcam and microphone both meet expectations. I got the 16GB ram model which can be upgraded. The battery life is good and the charging is fast. The 6.75” x 4” tracking pad is the only feature that was not immediately comfortable for me to use. It works well though and it is just a matter of me getting used to it.What really stands out for me in this laptop is the gorgeous display. The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) gives this laptop an extremely high ClearMR rating of 11000 for the ratio of sharp to blurry pixels when playing a video with fast screen transitions. That’s impressive as is the OLED QHD 240 Hz display. It has 8GB of VRAM. The dual mode is unique and a stand-out feature. The graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070.This is a high end gaming laptop that excels in speed and performance. It is also a good choice for graphic design and detailed photo editing. It is the best gaming laptop that I have had and definitely meets my expectations.

    Fast!

I’ve been putting this through its paces the last few weeks and I’m extremely pleased with this! It’s definitely lightning fast and has been wonderful for both gaming and streaming. Super clear and sharp – my teen actually prefers that we stream on this rather than the TV since it’s that sharp.I did have to get used to the keyboard – I’m used to the keys being a little lower and my hands/wrists found it a little hard to adjust at first. Just needed to retrain my muscle memory. Not a touchscreen – in fact, I think that’s the only thing it’s missing.Above all, thrilled with this one!

Buy it, if you can comfortably afford it.

I am probably not the target audience for this laptop since I rarely play video games, the only game I have played on it is FF7 Remake. The design is awesome, screen is very vibrant (reason why I decided to upgrade), sound, and build quality is excellent. I would not recommend to anyone who would have to pick between this laptop and their yearly vacation or forego necessities, it is definitely a want and not a need. This year’s Zephyrus G16 does the same for a $1000 less ($500 now that it’s on sale), so it’s definitely more about the aesthetic of this laptop if you are considering purchasing.

    Best laptop I’ve ever had

This is about my 12th laptop… I’m an older software developer who general prefers gaming/desktop-replacement laptops so I can do most of my work on the road including running demanding simulators and gaming software at acceptable frame rates. Anyway, I’ve had a few. This is the best one I’ve ever had! The build quality and design rivals Apple. The performance is stellar. With the mobile 4080, I can even run most games in 4K at over 120FPS. 1440 is >300FPS all day. The fans are a bit noticeable when under load, a bit higher pitched than I am used to, but acceptable and nothing unexpected. The keyboard tactile feedback/feel is not great, that is really the only con I have on this. A bit more travel and switch sensitivity would be better. I got the 16″, because most ~17″-18″ laptops are huge and unwieldy to travel with. But this is so efficiently designed, that I would have been happy with even the 18″ as a travel laptop and it probably would fit in most backpacks too. The 16″ is extremely mobile and is roughly the same size dimensions as my old Dell XPS 15. Well done Razer, well done nVidia.

Absolutely fantastic! This is the one to get.

I bought nearly every 4090 laptop and returned them all. THIS was the overall winner. The lighting effects are something I didn’t think I would enjoy this much but no one compares to Razer when it comes to keyboard lighting effects. Individual lights and the wider array of color should be the standard. The screen is rich and saturated like a Samsung laptop if that’s something that is important to you. Battery life sucks of course cause its a gaming laptop duh. The fans aren’t annoyingly loud at full blast like others I’ve tried. I spent a year and went through around 10 laptops and decided on this. Wait for a renewed version and saved $1500 to take the edge off the price. Its worth it.

Ultra sharp display with powerful processor in a light and durable laptop

I gifted this for my husband and he is really happy with the ultra sharp display most especially when gaming. Given the fast processor, it is surprisingly light weight. The sound quality of the speakers is great. The overall color of the laptop is really striking slick.

Great Hardware and Quality, Software presets needs QA testing

Razer is like the Apple of laptops. Great quality with design and function but, software with other companies need to be tested before sale.At first I thought my speakers were defective, but in the synapse software I remember Razer had this issue with their headsets. Reduce “Noise Normalization” as that will reduce the crackling sound. This is an issue with THX and Razer. As the default preset are attended for general demos.Less of negative is that the product is still a finger print magnet. If you like putting skins or sticker this isn’t an issue and the touchpad is huge. Now the good things about this 2024 version, the OLED screen is beautiful, artist will love this screen. Best selling point for an upgrade.Software not bad, it knows how to reduce certain functions automatically when unplugged. and even on balance mode plugged in it is quiet. Beware the metal body of the laptop is also a cooling method for Razer laptops and will get hot.The 4080 is a reasonable purchase than the 4090 for plugin performance as the is minimal compared to the desktop. For on the go performance a 4070 will be ok as the battery is the same for all can’t handle long anything above. Overall it is a safe expensive investment for gamers and creator on the go, with downtime to sit.

It’s the Mac of Windows PCs

Great build quality. Thinner and lighter than most laptops in its class, but that OLED screen is just SO PRETTY it really can’t be beat. Some reviews complain about the fan noise, but honestly it’s no louder than most gaming PCs when you run it hard.

Look at Arrow Keys & Touch Pad (Size & Location)

First impressions: I didn’t realize this until I received the laptop, but the up and down arrow keys are cut in half. I use these keys extensively for character movement and now having to retrain with the reduction in size of the up and down keys. Also, there is not enough real estate between the keys and touch pad to rest my palm so I keep hitting the touch pad while playing so I had to disable the touchpad. I’m finding Synapse a little tedious to use to change some of my settings. The sound is amazing though! Still trying to get it all set up.
