Very functional, but also difficult to place

To install this rudder pedal device you need to make sure you have sufficient clearance between the floor and where you are installing it. If you install this properly you will have excellent control requiring minimal pressure to control the (simulated) aircraft. The connectors are strong and high quality (except for the connectors that control the toe brakes as described in the next bit). The only problem experienced was when a brutal user stomped ridiculously hard on the pedals and broke them. Fortunately we were able to engineer the broken part and replace it, but for an ordinary user it seems unlikely they could replace such parts on their own. If you are just playing with this yourself and you are sufficiently experienced to know that you should operate the controls gently, I don’t think you will experience any problems. Indeed only that one user managed to break the control and it has never happened again after the part was replaced. We used a stronger metal for the replacement, and I think that is also a factor, because the metal used for that part in the original design was some cheap alloy. This alloy would be absolutely fine with normal use, but for a crazy person who stomps on the pedals really hard then it could break.

Expensive, worth it

This is my third attempt at finding realistic feeling rudder pedals, and I can happily say it will be my last. I’m currently getting my pilots license and get to compare these to the real thing a couple times a week. These are the most realistic feeling set you’ll find imho.The quality is unbeatable as well (and for this price point it better be!). Everything is metal, it weights a lot, but you can just tell it will last you a lifetime.

Great Rudder Pedals

These are great pedals for the serious flight gamer. A bit pricey but well worth it for me. I’ve been in aviation for 20 plus years and these are as close as it gets to the real thing. Highly recommend getting them if you are serious about flight Sims.

Bon c’est un investissement mais depuis 40 ans sur Fs, c’est le seul produit qui permet autant de réglages hardware et une précision à ce niveau. La qualité, le haut de gamme ça se paye et ce petit bijou en sont les parfaits reflets. Impossible de revenir sur autre chose après lui….

Yeeeeeesssss!

Nach Schubregler und Joystick von Thrustmaster nun die besten Pedale die ich je hatte.EIN TRÄUMCHEN!Sicher, billigere Pedale tun das gleiche – nur eben nicht so gut und fein dosierbar. Bin wirklich hellauf begeistert.Hatte vorher Pedale einer anderen (auch ganz guten) Firma und trotzdem war die Überwindung des Nullpunktes immer mit einem Ruck versehen was filligrane Flugmanöver beim Huey (DCS) wirklich erschwert hat. Das ist nun zum Glück vorbei. Vom rechten Pedal zum linken (und umgekehrt) geht butterweich … KLASSE!Zwar musste ich das Teil in Frankreich kaufen was mir – mangels Erfahrungen – erstmal Bauchschmerzen bereitet hat (was wenn das Paket verloren geht etc.) aber ich konnte den ganzen Weg der Sendung verfolgen (schafft Vertrauen) und am Ende war der Artikel schnell und unversehrt bei mir. Freue mich riesig!Zusammenbau und Einstellung(en) der Pedale in Neigung usw. waren in ca. 30 min. erledigt – dann noch an den PC anschließen, ca. ne Minute warten bis das Ruder erkannt und eingerichtet war und schon konnte es losgehen.Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen! Allerdings glaube ich, dass unter normalen Voraussetzungen erst mal nichts damit passieren wird denn das ganze Ding ist echt solide gebaut und kann ganz gut was ab.

Posiblemente el mejor!

Llevo en el mundo de la simulación prácticamente toda mi vida, pero de manera más intensa los últimos diez, he tenido varios modelos de pedales y puedo decir que estos son los mejores he tenido. No pensaba que lo notaría tanto, pero sí.A parte de lo evidente, la calidad de los materiales (metal en lugar de plástico) es muy buena, y sientes que están fabricados para durar, las sensaciones son muy buenas, el tacto es suave y preciso.Tienes varias posibilidades de configuración, el ángulo de inclinación de los pedales, la dureza….Otro punto positivo para mí es que al tener el tamaño y peso son muy estables, no me mueven ni siquiera en los dogfighters más salvajes.Con mi anterior modelo cuando metía timón a fondo me daba con la pared, pero ahora debido a la posición de estos no llegan a tocar con nada.Otra cosa que me ha sorprendido es que ahora puedo asignar los frenos a aviones en los que antes no podía. Por ejemplo, en el Sabre del DCS, no podía asignar los frenos individualmente, tenia que usar un botón o tecla, en cambio con este modelo si se puede hacer.Como conclusión estoy bastante contento con este producto, sobre todo con la oferta que tenía en el momento que lo compré, se nota la calidad de materiales y el manejo en el simulador es increíble.Cómo única pega diría que son algo “blandos”, pero vamos, por poner una pega…

AWESOME & absolutely the lowest price!

***Update April 2, 2023*** More Pros! ???????????? I finally got these forwarded to me here in Thailand from the US (long sad story), reassembled them, and have been using them for the past month in MSFS 2020. I am beyond thrilled at the quality, precision, and amazing smoothness. As a former pilot and aircraft owner I especially love the realistic action. With these, as in real airplanes, your heels rest on the ‘cockpit’ floor with the balls of your feet resting against the bottom of each rudder pedal (bar). To use the toe brakes, lift your feet up so your heels are now against the rudder pedals (bar) then depress the top of the rudder pedal(s) to pivot them forward to apply either or both brakes. Did I mention how smooth and precise they are? I honestly didn’t realize how sloppy my beloved 25-year-old CH Products rudders pedals have become.Quality – I had to completely disassemble these and mail them in small boxes to get them to Thailand via USPS 1st class without breaking the bank (Absolutely HORRIBLE international shipping rates from the US these days!!!). As such, I got to closely examine every TPR component. Gotta say as a former product designer that I’m so very impressed at the quality, excellent design, and durable construction. These are so heavy duty they should last for decades! Thank you Thrustmaster!!!Assembly – One thing I did do during reassembly, maybe a bit over the top, was to lightly grease all the pivot points with heavy grease. The result is WOW they’re soooo very smooth and it should virtually eliminate any possible wear.Additional comments: I’ve recently been reading some negative comments about some Thrustmaster products being iffy design and quality. I don’t own any other Thrustmaster products so can’t comment, but I am beyond thrilled at my TPR rudder pedals!????????????Original comments:Pros: These arrived quickly from the UK and were packaged well. The quality is amazing and the $487 price with free international shipping was the frosting on the cake. Gotta admit that after reading some of the comments before ordering I was a bit worried these might be refurbished, especially because of the low price, but luckily they’re brand spanking new and gorgeous!????????????Yep, I’ve been wanting the TPR rudder pedals set for years as it’s the only one that gives correct true to life motion in not only the rudder axis but also the toe brakes. My beloved old CH Products rudder pedals still work well but, as a real pilot, I find the ‘slider’ motion of the pedals slightly lacking as never felt real.Cons: (Edit: April 2, 2023) None really, except they are large and heavy! ????

Bon produit

Il apporte beaucoup plus de précision dans le pilotage. Bien que lourd il faut prévoir de la stabiliser et si vous avez un siège avec des roulettes, il faut leur ajouter des freins.Le produit est cher mais il apporte une réel plus si vous avec déjà le manche et la manette des gaz.

Solid build, smooth and precise control.

For truly dedicated flight simmers, these are worth it. Solid, heavy build and smooth movement giving you much more precise rudder control than any of the cheaper options on the market. I’ve owned the TM T.flight pedals and the Saitek pedals in the past which are practically all plastic build, but these are just a world apart in quality, precision and engineering, which is what you expect given the high-end price. These make taxiing much easier and give a much smoother anti-torque control if you fly heli’s. I’m now even getting to grips with the DCS Apache, whereas before it felt like it was flying me rather than the other way around.Aside from the fact it’s all metal, what I like most about these pedals is that there isnt too much travel in them (maybe about 3-4 inches), so you can back this up against a wall if you need to – the pedals arent going to bump into the wall, though It’s heavy enough to stay planted wherever you put it.Setting them up was easy. There’s very little assembly. All you need to do is bolt on the pedals and attach the sensor into them with allen screws. Everything is provided including a couple of small spanners. The angle of the pedals is adjustable to 5 different increments. While getting the angle just right for your feet can be a little fiddly, once done you shouldn’t ever need to change it again. Tension on the pedals is adjustable using one or two springs at the back, height adjustable to increase or decrease tension. Personally I found just one spring suited me fine, but each to their own.Pretty pleased with these high end pedals to go with my TM Warthog HOTAS setup for flying DCS and Il-2 BOS. Yes they are expensive, but worth every penny if you’re serious about flight sims.

Para mi de lo mejorcito que hay hoy en dia,muy fuertes,la posicion ideal para el manejo de pedales ,puedes ajustarlos a tu gusto y son muy comodos.Por poner un pero diria que la base necesita ser apoyada contra algo o estar anclada en en el suelo para que no se mueva.

Ho snobbato questo prodotto per anni, avendo i più economico pedali Thrustmaster (da 100 euro in plastica) pensavo che per il timone non valesse la pena spendere. Alla fine ho provato e devo dire che l’esperienza migliora radicalmente, adesso anche una procedura di taxi diventa piacevole e uso molto più spesso il timone (come dovrebbe essere) anche in virata. Pensavo di dover spendere solo su Yoke, ma in realtà anche il rudder vale assolutamente la pena. Certo il costo è elevato, ma davvero il prodotto vale quei soldi, basta sentirne il peso per capire che è un oggetto di un certo pregio e valore. Anche a livello di design lo trovo bello e sembra quasi che Thrustmaster abbia staccato un pezzo di aereo vero e ci abbia fatto una periferica. Incredibile lavoro di ingegneria.Il rudder adesso si muove con estrema facilità e le mie manovre sono migliorate molto sia in decollo che in atterraggio.

Pendular pedals

Si lo que buscas son unos buenos pedales relación precio calidad, estos son los mejores dentro del mercado. Tal vez un poco caros pero realmente valen la pena, son muy precisos y sin necesidad de quebrarte la cabeza a la hora de instalarlos.

Espectacular, muy precisos, robustos eso si si juegas con una silla sin ruedas tienes que poner antideslizante en el suelo ya que la silla se te irá alejando, si usas una silla con ruedas deberás buscar la forma de que al moverte no te vayas alejando de la silla, por lo demás espectacular, cuesta un poco hacerse con el, cuando te has acostumbrado a tener el eje z en las manos, pero cuando te acostumbras es muchísimo más preciso

Fácil instalación, muy pesados, excelente calidad y muy finos los movimientos durante su uso, sin duda lo mejor en pedales para simuladores de aviación

Excelente diseño. Materiales de alta durabilidad (casi el 100% es metalico). Un poco caros, pero valen la pena si eres un fanático de la simulacion de vuelo y quieres elevar el realismo de tu hobby.

Amazing

I replaced my CH Pedals (13 years old) with these ones. I never liked the center detent in the CH Pedals for as long as I’ve owned them. Take offs and landings in crosswinds in particular were a real pain.These rudder pedals by comparison are smooth as butter. I’ve got far better control under crosswind conditions and there’s no hard centre detent. The fact that these feel absolutely solid is further reassurance of the quality here, but time will tell whether that holds true.Reason for not giving five stars is two fold:- On a carpet you need to screw it down, otherwise it will slide about.- Assembly of the rudder pedals is fiddly, and this also applies to adjustment.However on the two counts above, I’ve had no reason to readjust my pedals once setup, and screws through the carpet aren’t a bother for me either.
