Great for video encoding on a Plex NAS server
I bought this to update an old build I had and found that this graphics card has quite a bit of power for the price. I currently use it on my NAS server to encode video streaming. Ultra 4k is flawless. I recommend it for any old PC refresh, or budget server builds.

Only buy this card if you don’t care about registering it on XFX’s website
Trying to register this card, XFX’s website requires you to fill in all the blanks with all your information, including Billing & Shipping. WTF should I have to give out all this personal information (that can be hacked from their site) just so I can register this card? Contacting them about this issue? Same shit. Not gonna bother registering this product. If it craps out, it craps out. I’ll just never buy another thing from XFX ever again. I’m not giving out all my personal information for a $120 graphics card. Screw that.Having said all that, the graphics card is good for what it is. I won’t be using it much for gaming, but as a test bench for testing software downloads in case they contain malware. It has an unactivated copy of Windows 10 Pro (which has no watermark, nor prevents me from customizing settings that you can’t normally customize without activation) with no personal information stored on it, so in the event it contracts a virus, I can simply wipe the drive and reload. I might use this system to test some free games, so the 8GB of VRAM would be better than the 4GB GT 730 I previously had in it.This card also works with the very latest Adrenalin software and drivers, so it’s still a supported graphics card. So, again, if you don’t care to register this card with all your personal information, nor are you running Triple-A games, then this card will fit most bills.

Performance.
If your looking for a card that is under 300$ that can perform better than Nvidia 3060 ti than this my peoples is the one for you. My old card was a 1660 super and the performance is a major difference not only in frames but graphics as well. Now the only downside that had me looking at how the card ran was the temperature of the card, the hottest I’ve seen so far is around 74 to 76 and 76 is not often a number you see but as we all know heat isn’t the best but 70 c is not horrible at all espically if your card is running at 80% usage or 90% but when your not running any games at all the card sits around 50 c and that’s only because the fans aren’t on but with the software you can obviously change the rpm on the fan if you want the card to be cooler but I don’t have any airflow in my case so that’s obv my fault. I do believe that maybe the amount of ram I have on my pc is helping the card perform I have 64 gigs of ram but still the card performance amazing and I couldn’t recommend anything else. One last thing that sorta bothers me is in the future I’m planning to add more storage like an ssd but the card is pretty thick so it’s kind of blocking a sata port or however you call it so as of right now I only have 1tb ssd but I’m pretty there is a way around it.

Great for maybe 60 fps at 1080 (but barely)
I’ve only had the FXF Radeon RX 580 for a few days but so far so good. I replaced a Radeon R9 290 3GB card I bought back in 2013 and I’m running an old Alienware Aurora ALX chassis with a 4 core Intel i7 930 and an 875W PSU. I’m also running 12GB DDR3 RAM at 1600Hz. It’s an older machine, so…There were no instructions with my new 580 and I’ve only changed a graphics card once before so it took me a minute to realize the extra PIN adapter that came with the 580 was needed. Thank God it came with it. I’d have had no idea since my PSU had more PINs than the 580. That was the only trouble I had.Playing on a 1080 monitor it runs Destiny 2 on the highest settings fairly well. I was expecting a bit more but I’ve accepted for this price point it’s good enough. Destiny 2 gets about 50 to 60 fps during peak on-screen action but will dip into the 40’s if there is a long background off in the distance. Without all that draw time, like in the Reckoning, it’ll give me 70 to 90 fps. At least I no longer get those frame rate lag spikes the old 290 gave me. Overall for Destiny 2 I’d call it 60 fps but you will dip below that. If you want to never dip below 60 get a better card.I then played World of Warcraft at Ultra settings. I get worse fps on this game. When the action is going I’ll get in the 30’s to 50’s but the fps will jump to 100 or so a good chunk of the time.Overall if you’re wanting to run 1440 resolution and never dip below 60 fps then skip this card and spend more money. If you’re fine with maybe 60 fps at 1080 and on a tight budget this card will work great.Update May 16I’ve upgraded my monitor to a 4k monitor that actually supports 4K and 1440 and this card works better than I thought. Some of the issues must have been the old monitor. Anyway, I really only play Destiny 2 and at 1440 at high settings I get 50 to 60 fps. That drops to 45 fps on the highest setting and at 4k it drops to 25 to 30 fps. Not bad for $165 though. A great bargain.

Runs all the games on 1080p
This was a replacement for a RX470 4GB that at 5 yrs was getting fan whine. I was concerned it would quit so I got this.It was plug and play for me, didn’t even need to reinstall drivers.Although I was perfectly happy with the 470 in most games this card is a definite improvement. I see zero stuttering anymore in the few games I did before. I can tell things just run smoother.I only have 1080p monitors so this is perfect. There are three and this runs them @ 75hz no problem. One is DVI (60hz), one HDMI (75hz) and other is DP with an HDMI active adapter (75hz). For some reason this is the only way I can get that monitor to run at 75hz. It was the same with the 470.IMO this is all that’s needed for 1080 gaming. Especially with what they’re charging for current cards.

Great GPU for 1080p gaming (no Raytracing though)
I bought this second GPU for booting some Linux distros that wasn’t working with my RTX 4080 due to lack of nVidia drivers on some.

Good price for great performance in previous generation GPU!
Good price for great performance in previous generation GPU! I purchased the XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition in the following condition:”Condition: Used – Very Good – Cleaned, Thermal paste freshly re-applied, may have some scratches.”The GPU was relatively clean, however, the heatsink fins were dust encrusted and there was some pet hairs that collected in the corners of the heatsink. In addition, there was quite a bit of fine dust on the front and back of the GPU card. I would recommend that if you buy this GPU in Used condition, you should examine it carefully and clean it if you find it in similar condition as mine. Keep in mind, this is a used GPU, so you have to expect to find some dust on the card and heatsink – it probably will not have been deep cleaned.

Costo Beneficio

Yeah I’m not quite sure what the “1 Stars” are about but it prompted me to post a review to offset them. This card works great. I used it in a third PC built for a friend. It runs very cool compared to it’s siblings, sips power compared to other offerings and happily sits at 2215Mhz while gaming and has a 16gb buffer. Easily one of the best deals in gaming right now.

Simply WOW
I added this 4-output, 8-gig video to my Prebuilt system. And WOW was I knocked off my chair.Easy installation into my existing system. I went from a 3 output display to now 4 screens, and from 4 gigs to 8 gigs. This loads up my games so fast now it is unbelievable.I use a Rizen 7 5800x 8 core system made by Digital Storm, and this greatly enhanced my system’s video tremendously. My system has 32g of memory. I never realized how the main memory was being used by video needs until releasing the Video memory with this card. WOW WOW WOWRuns cool and can be overclocked if needed. I haven’t seen a need yet. Is very silent even when it’s cooling for high end games. Frame rates are over 80 FPS.

Its a power house
Wow its was one the best for mining when it first came out. Impressive with cool reliability. I am not using it in gaming. So i can not talk its fps and color resolution. It replace my 570 which i had for 5 years. Same machine with 580 it showed its speed. The keep back for was the graphics card surprisingly. The pc finishes it task no almost 20 minutes faster than before again. This not data mining or gaming or AI. This was just a high performance data analytical application.

Arrived in good condition, working fine after 8 hours of use so far. Comes with a cable that appears to go to nothing, so have your own.Note: these are NOT based on chips sold in the US as 580’s, they’re slightly downgraded Chinese market 2048SPs.Had to flash my bios and run DDU in safe mode to get it and my windows 10 machine to function correctly.

RX 580 GTX XXX
HI, thank you for reading my review. This is my current system.Motherboard: MSI 785GT-E63CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 BERAM: 6 GB DDR2 G.Skill and 2GB DDR2 Kingston Hyper X, Total 8GB DDR2I have a really old system, my concern wast if the card was going to work and it did flawlessly. I was worried it wouldn’t boot or it had other issues so far no problems.I wanted mostly to have a GPU so I can save money for an upgrade, I mostly play with RA and I love playing classic games on my pc.This is my third GPU, first I had a GTX 460 MSI Talon Attack, then a MSI GTX 560 and now the Radeon RX 580. I’m very happy with my purchase and the price is great. Also is important to know that it has a very small coil whine but nothing to worry about, if you are wondering the SO I’m using windows 10, 21H2 IoT Enterprice LTSC.Thank you for reading.

overall great for the price, but need to configure the fans
Similar performance to $200+ GPU’s. Plenty of ports including a DVI which is useful, but 2xDP and 2xHDMI instead of 3+1 would have been ideal. Seems generally better quality compared to the cheaper RX580’s. Haven’t had a chance to push it to its limits yet, but so far its handled everything I could throw at it with plenty of headroom. I do have a couple complaints though..The default fan profile is very lacking, and will lead to unnecessarily high temps without adjusting. Long-term medium temps can be just as damaging as short-term high temps. I was hitting 50c+ just from light gaming when the rest of my system was around 30c. I was worried, since I’m not on windows, that I would be unable to fix this, but thankfully there are plenty of options and ways to control fan speed on linux. I am using radeon-profile and its great, you can set fan curves, overclock and everything. Bless the person who made it. Now its set with minimum 40% fan speed, slowly ramping up as temps increase past 45c, and at 40% speed I can barely, if at all, hear it through the case over the other fans.Anyways, once the fans hit about 70-75% speed they start getting very loud. But that should only happen on a very high workload, and personally I’ve never had mine go above 40c with 40% speed thus far. Granted I’m not playing any crazy new games, but still demanding enough. edit: i fell asleep and had left running a game that was taking 100% gpu due to a bug and when I woke up it was only at ~55c. Great fans when you get them actually running.(edit:it seems I might have been wrong and the clock rate actually is 1366? shrug :P)

Still a great buy in 2019
Price:I purchased this card when it was $189.99. I received a prime gift card for $30 as a birthday gift and used it on this purchase. reducing to $159.99. Included at that time (and maybe still?) was a choice of 2 free games out of 3. RE2 Remake, DMC5 & The Division 2. Even at $189.99, this is still a good buy. I’ve seen it as low as $179.99. Also, I believe the GTS Black Edition is currently on sale for $189.99. If that card is cheaper or the same as this XXX edition, go for Black Edition as it is binned slightly better and is what I think to be XFX’s top dog in the 580 line.Performance:My lotto luck was tip top with this one. I’m able to achieve the ideal sweet spot of 1500Mhz on the core which is really impressive, because this model is a single 8-pin power connector. To do that, I have to peg the core voltage @ 1.2 which isn’t something I’m fond of due to thermals, but it’s nice to know I can run stable if I so chose. The memory sweet spot of 2250MHz (x4=9000 effective) was also a breeze, at 0.900V. This memory overclock is the biggest gain in performance you will see with these cards. My final profile was 1400MHz core @ 1.05V, and the 2250MHz memory @ .9V. Fan curve is set to be @ 65% fan starting at 50°, ending at 72°, then ramping dramatically for anything hotter. Max temps I get while gaming, capped at 60fps, running 1080p ultra on everything is 60°-65°. It doesn’t really get any higher while running something like Timespy Extreme or Unigene Valley Benchmarks.By the way, I recommend staying away from MSI Afterburner if using Radeon cards. Radeon Settings Global Wattman does everything just as good as Afterburner, and in my personal experience Afterburner was confusing my GPU-causing the fans to peg for no reason, and fight Wattman for the profile. If you are partial to Afterburner due to OSD, you can easily set up one between HWMonitor and RivaTuner. It’s more customizable as well. Look up a tutorial on YouTube for that.As far as actual in-game performance, expect to be able to run anything high-ultra at 1080p resolution, 60Hz on triple A titles. The most demanding titles I have at the moment are probably Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Far Cry 5. In SotTR, there are a few NVidia gimmick settings you would probably want to dial down. I saw no difference in actual in game appearance. For Far Cry 5, I have an all around smoother experience using this card than with my 1070 ti. The rx580 just doesn’t stutter at all.In all, I very much prefer this card over my other 1070 ti, due mostly in part of the Radeon Settings interface being awesome compared to NVidia Settings. Plus at 1080p, so far, there is no real need for anything more powerful. I got the 1070 ti because I enjoy tinkering with cards just as much as gaming. AMD is known for continual driver support, resulting in the whole “fine-wine” saying. In the future, the rx580 will probably out perform my 1070 ti. Just look at older examples to see what I mean.Anyway, great card.

Pretty much plug and play for me. Huge upgrade from my old GPU.
I used this to upgrade a system I built several years ago. I thought the upgrade to a SSD was amazing, but this has been even better than that. Of course, I’m coming from a 1 GB GPU. I just plugged it in, plugged in the simple power adapter, booted, downloaded the drivers, and that was that. I also ordered a new power source (500 watt to 750 watt modular), but that won’t arrive til next week. Therefore, not going to do any oc and if I have issues, I won’t blame that on the graphics card.*** Just because this can run on a 500 watt power source doesn’t mean all of your other components at full power can at the same time. Even if it works, pulling closer to max power through the power source (or any electronic device) will create more heat than a more capable power source processing the same amount of power. You’re more likely to try components with an underpowered power source than you would be with a more suitable and higher capacity power source. You need to upgrade your power supply. Notice all of the videos of people complaining about issues show them running a 500 watt power supply. ***I am an Xbox gamer that has been wanting to dabble in PC gaming for a while. With the new Flight Simulator out, I knew it was time. I also put Forza Horizon 4 and several other play anywhere games on my PC. All full quality, no glitching or lag or pixelation of any kind. I didn’t think about it ahead of time, bit I also edit videos and… man, that takes hours worth of processing down to 5 or 10 minutes. However, I won’t do a lot of that til my upgraded power source arrives just to be safe.I’m also running just one monitor instead of 3 for now. There is no noise from any of the fans, and the heat hasn’t increased enough to make any difference (I already had a ton of fans in my system).Really, I may never bother overclocking this. My CPU, a 6 core AMD processor, is slightly overclocked at 4 GHz (3.7 by default) and it does not contain a GPU core. I’m running 16 GB of basic 1866 MHz RAM (this is an older DDR3 motherboard) and two SSD’s. There is nothing too fancy about this unit, but with this GPU, this computer isn’t going to be retired anytime soon. Full gaming, video editing at fast speeds, not to mention I’ve been using it to work from home for the last 5 years making more at home than I ever did in an office; this GPU will be a component of my next build I’m starting next week. Awesome product!

XFX RX580 A Good Value
I purchased this XFX RX580 8 GB Black Edition in July 2018 for a super build computer. After reading some recent reviews I thought it good to add some input. This card has performed extremely well for my use. I do not game, but do a lot of video editing and recording. I have 32 GB RAM and 6 core AMD CPU. I have not had a single problem with this card and it is still performing well in January 2024. I was using an XFX AMD card prior to the RX580 and it performed very well. XFX and AMD served me well so I purchased another since then for another computer. Oh, the lifetime warranty offered at that time convinced me that XFX was serious about the quality of their product, So for that reason, I am loyal to the AMD and XFX brands with additional purchases. HOWEVER, as one reviewer noted, Microsoft sometimes forces their generic drivers for devices onto our computers. MS didn’t do this with my XFX cards, but sneaked one up on me with a laptop and consequently caused a problem. So with that, I deleted MS crap and reinstalled the manufacturer driver, fixing the issue. Now Microsoft is promising to screw our computers by fixing a perceived printer “problem” with a forced new printer platform claiming this will solve these “perceived” issues, eliminating the need for various manufacturers drivers. But back to XFX/AMD. I have never had problems with my products and plan to use them for another build soon.

Solid Card
Went with this because frankly, I got tired of trying to find the most bang for the buck with cheaper GPUs. This thing ticks all the boxes, albeit at a price premium, but I wanted to ensure I had the video power I needed for all my work and some gaming. The fans are very quiet, no driver issues or throttling that I can determine. XFX is a make I’ve been using for a while and there was no reason to part from it. Recommended.

Works
This is a really outdated product, but for the price it’s OK. Old card was an issue for upgrading to Win 11.

Very happy with it under Linux
As more of a Linux admin / part time dev this card is perfect. I only do light gaming so prob not good for AAA games But it’s super quiet, low power consumption with what I do and zero issues under Linux (Arch, NIXOS, Cosmic Alpha 1 and 2) I have a Low Profile 210 from same company and it has performed w/o issue So for me it’s been a good brand to get GPUs from.

Great for 4K/30 – 1080p/60 Gaming, and a steal if you want/sell the $120 bundled games!
I have had this GPU for about a week, and I’ve been really happy with it. While running at stock settings, the card runs relatively cool and quiet. My card overclocked pretty well, and I’m able to get an additional 10% of performance at the expense of higher temps and louder fans. At stock settings, the GPU stays below 70c at load, and up to 82c with my current overclock. I’m able to run the new Resident Evil 2 with Max settings at a locked 1080p/60 with ease. I am also able to run a locked 4K/30 in RE2 with no drops in performance. Many older games are able to run at resolutions up to 4K/60, and many modern games are even good at 1440p/60.AMD’s software is leaps and bounds above what I remember from the Catalyst Software days. I remember having driver problems which cause sound problems over HDMI when I had an HD 7870. I also had problems with the Crimson Drivers in an RX 480 build I did for a friend a couple years back. In that build, I had to loan him one of my GTX cards for a few months because his RX 480 was unusable due to a driver issue that caused the screen to flicker black. After a driver update, the GPU finally worked for him. I have had no issues with my RX 580, and the only crashes I’ve had are from pushing my overclock slightly too far. After dialing my OC back, I have run it for hours straight with 82c temps without a hitch. Now the best part, I basically got this card for $85 thanks to the bundled games. I planned on waiting for AMD’s new cards later this year, but I had a friend who told me he was getting Resident Evil 2 and The Division 2 when they released. I asked him if he would be willing to buy the codes from me to help lower the cost of a new GPU, and he agreed. So after tax, my $205 (including tax) RX 580 became an $85 steal after selling the bundled games to my friend for $120. If you know someone wanting to buy both games, or you intend on getting 2 of the 3 games, I believe this card is a no-brainer. You can easily sell the card for over $85 over the next couple of years if you decide you want to upgrade to something faster.Keep in mind, claiming the free games requires a bit of effort, and it would be hard to sell the free games to anyone you don’t know. Basically, I had to create an AMD rewards account to claim the games. The account has to detect the GPU installed in your system to claim the free games, so you can’t simply sell the AMD key to someone else. Once the AMD activation site confirms your hardware, it allows you to choose 2 out of the 3 games available: Resident Evil 2, The Division 2, and Devil May Cry 5. Once those games are chosen, then the AMD account has to be tied to your Steam account to activate the game to the steam library. Again, it works with a willing friend, but it will be difficult to do if you plan on selling the keys to someone you don’t know well. All in all, I am really happy with this purchase. If crossfire was still worth using these days, I would buy another one and keep the bundled games for myself. It’s that good of a deal.A final thought, if you are interested in all 3 of the bundled games, the RX 590, Vega 56, Vega 64, and the upcoming Radeon VII come with all 3 games: effectively lowering the cost of those GPU’s a staggering $180! If my friend could have waited a couple of weeks to play RE2, I would have waited for the Radeon VII’s release. But he couldn’t wait, and I’m still very satisfied that I jumped on a great deal!

Way better than my GTX 970 I bought 10 years ago for a similar price

Wow, what can I say, I figured this would blow my 970 out of the water but god did this surpass my expectations, this paired with an i7 12700kf killer price to preformance ratio, I’m using a 2560x1080p monitor at 60hz so this is definitely overkill, but once I upgrade my monitor I’ll be sure to update the review

What a great card, even more now with the price!
I just realized that I have had this card for almost 5 years, and wow it still kicks some serious a$$! I bought this in 2019, and it was about $200, it was a great deal then. Now it is down to $129, it is a no brainer. It will not play the latest games in 4k with great results, you WILL have to turn down the settings a lot. I had a 1080P monitor for years, and this card worked amazing for every game I ever threw at it. I recently upgraded to a 1440p monitor, and it still works amazing! I have never overclocked it, it was already overclocked from XFX, and saw no need to push it any further. This is seriously probably the best value out right now. I am planning to upgrade in the next few months, simply because I have owned this card for so long. I will be switching this over to my TV PC and using it for that, my TV is 1080P, and I see no reason to upgrade to a new TV, just to turn off all the new BS feature that they come with. I wish I had never bought this card, just so I could enjoy buying it new again!

Good budget friendly GPU
Can’t get much better for a budget friendly build. As a new PC builder after my first build, I mentioned to my wife that I have never seen a lot of the games I play at high quality graphics settings. It’s a whole new world for me. I know there are better, faster GPU’s out there, but this guy gives good bang for your buck. Remember to check pcpartbuilder for compatibility with other parts for your build and do your research!

Video Card came as described.
This video card came as described. Used, one fan and a really good value. The graphics card benched at average.Reason for 4 stars: I needed to bend the face plate with plyers back to a normal position. This was needed to get the card to seat.

Fast Budget Card, Fans are Loud
Benchmarks well for its class, good OC on this. The card is almost an inch higher than most due to the large cooling solution on it, huge loud fans, but they do their job. I’d buy again when shopping in this price range.

Great Budget Card, plays anything you want. Even VR
To save a long read and info this is a great card. Great performance. Plays VR amazing. Can basically run any game you want. This card is a great budget card for anyone. I had originally built my system with just a Ryzen apu. A Ryzen 3 2200g. It worked for a while but I wanted more gpu power. More game variety. I was looking a came across this card. Did a bunch of research. Looked at a bunch of benchmarks. Decided to buy it. It was super easy to install and booted the first time. First issue was it screwed my monitors up just a little bit but it was an easy fix. Just had to fix a few settings. I immediately started playing the games that I didn’t hav the best performance on to see what my new performance was like. Obviously there was a huge increase. I did a little digging in the AMD software and found the overclock settings. I obviously did it. Worked great. Second issue were temps. My temps were always pretty warm. Sitting at around 95 degrees (F) on idle. Not exactly ideal. So I ordered some thermal paste and pads. Re did them. Super easy. Have had way better temps. Idle temps now around 88-89 degrees (F) sometimes even 86 degrees if the air is cool. Ended up buying an oculus quest and had got bored of the normal games. “Bought” boneworks not expecting to be able to play. Load in and boom works great. Never dropping below 72 FPS. Which for the quest is all you need as the refresh rate is 72Hz.Overall I have played many games both normal and VR games. I will list some of my games’s fps if you’re interested to look at them. -Note these aren’t exact and are based on a terrible memory and may vary based on what OC you do and other parts in your PC.Main parts of setup-Rx580 OCRyzen 3 2200g16gb ram 3200mhzFortnite- High settings, Normal Game, Max around 115 FPSRainbow Six Siege- Max settings, Benchmark Scores: Avg- Over 120fps Max- Around 160fpsBoneworks- Oculus Quest, 72fpsBlade and Sorcery- Oculus Quest, 72fps

Best Overseas Puchase
The media could not be loaded.
Idk if you North Americans are aware of the import fee we latinamericans must pay to get an item that is worth over 200USD. Well, even with that fee included in the price I paid, I got it really cheap. 309USD and then 391USD in total (I got the fast delivery) It arrived in half of the standard timefrime. This GPU is an absolute piece of art, aesthetically and performance wise. There is nothing better in the price range. I undervolted it and Overclocked it. Now I’m getting from 125fps on F1 2021 ultra settings to 145fps minimum. Temps (55C) My tweaks were 2600mhz min, 2700mhz max (core clock). 2250mhx Mem. Full Power limit and Voltage to 1120. It works for me, you can give it a try. I used to play on a 1660S Asus Tuf Gaming, along with a Ryzen 5 3600 on a X470 Tuf Gaming Plus from Asus (PCIe 3.0) Btw I though that old gen pcie would hinder the graphic card performance, it did not. Now I can game for a long time until I update to a value build with the intel 12th gen or 13th idk. My 3600 does not bottleneck with this one. I think a 6700 would be a problem and would need to update to a 5600 or 11/12400.Hope you find my comment useful. I’m hañpy with my purchase.

Monster Graphics Card!
Just installed this in my new Ryzen R5 1600 build. Can max out EVERY game I throw at it at 1080p 60FPS (except Arma 3). It also works pretty well at high settings at 1440p and averages about 40-50fps. However, the card itself is MASSIVE, but it is well built and hefty feeling. It also comes with a backplate which is nice. Compared to the older RX 480 it eats up power at a substantial 150 watt TDP. Thankfully, XFX provides a two 6 pin to one 8 pin adapter for the card so it’ll work with pretty much any PSU. Currently, it seems to be working with my EVGA 450BT power supply. As of right now it works perfectly out of the box with a driver update and doesn’t overheat or make a ton of noise while idle. I haven’t tried to overclock, but honestly I don’t really think you need to. This card works AMAZING out of the box and crushes any game you throw at it. What are you waiting for!?! Buy this XFX RX 580 8GB card!7/21/17 Update: The graphics card is still working, if not better than when I first purchased it. One thing to note is that it does work as a space heater if I leave in on for an hour without my ceiling fan on. Other than that, performance is still a-okay and no blackscreens or any other issues like others have reported.9/12/17 Update: Still no problems, has been stable (although I have tried to OC it, it is basically at its max out of the factory, so there really is little to no room to get more performance out of it.) Auto updater from Radeon live software has given me no problems, and like other reviews have indicated, the software included in the box can be tossed and the latest drivers can be found using a quick google search. Fingers crossed if this card can last me another year or two. Although I’m not a 24/7 gamer, I tend to game in sessions that last several hours. Runs everything beautifully that I have thrown at it. Some titles I’ve used this card with include Watch Dogs 2, World Of Warships, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Siege, Squad, etc.

I recently upgraded my gaming rig with the XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This graphics card delivers a stellar performance that exceeds expectations, making it a fantastic choice for both casual gamers and enthusiasts alike. The first thing that caught my attention was the sleek design of the card. This ensures that the GPU operates at its peak potential, resulting in a more responsive and immersive gaming experience. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in graphics quality and fluidity, even when playing at higher resolutions. The cooling solution on the RX 580 GTS XXX Edition deserves special mention. The dual-fan design effectively dissipates heat, keeping the card at optimal temperatures during extended gaming sessions. The fans are also remarkably quiet, contributing to an overall quieter gaming environment.Installation was a breeze thanks to the user-friendly design and clear instructions provided by XFX. The card supports multiple display outputs, including HDMI and DisplayPort, offering flexibility for different setups. In addition to its impressive gaming performance, the RX 580 GTS XXX Edition is also a solid choice for cryptocurrency mining, adding extra value to the investment.Overall, the XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition is a powerhouse that delivers exceptional performance, striking aesthetics, and reliable cooling. Solid, Quiet & Effective
Despite the fact that the 6750XT is a minor refresh of the 6700XT, this is a solid offering from XFX. Excellent performance, low noise, and it looks impressive! My previous card was a PowerColor Vega 64 Red Devil which was a similarly large, triple fan card, and when it was running at max load, it sounded like a jet engine, ate up tons of power, and kicked out a ton of heat. The Speedster, by comparison, is quiet and cool.I was on the fence picking up an RDNA2 card this late into the cycle, since the next generation of cards should be launching later in 2022. I had wanted the XFX 6800XT since its launch and was unwilling to pay the absurd prices the past few years, but that gave me time to re-evaluate how much power I actually needed from a card. Since I still play at 1080p (with plans to get a 1440p monitor at some point soonish) and my cpu is also a few years old, for the price, I came to the conclusion that the 6750XT would be the sweet spot to hold me over for a few years. Absolutely no regrets. This is a great card that runs everything I throw at it and maintains a good frame rate at high/ultra settings. My recommendations would be:If you absolutely need a card now, the Speedster MERC319 6750XT is well worth it. Solid design if it fits your build. If you’re looking to upgrade from a Vega64 (or similar), its more of a judgement call, but again, I am quite happy with the upgrade. If you have a more recent card, my honest recommendation at this point would be to wait for the next generation.Minor Update 8/12/22:Popped this card into a slightly newer build paired with a 5800x processor – max frame rate is marginally higher, but minimum is also improved, making for silky smooth gameplay at 1080p on high/ultra settings in most games. And this card, despite being a triple fan design, hardly makes any sound under load. After having a few months to play with it, I still absolutely love it!

Wonderful GPU
I didn’t wanna comment super-early after buying a GPU that ain’t exactly cheap to me. I am the current owner now of team (Multiple) GREEN, and team RED GPU’s.This is after having it for 2-3 months I believe. Didn’t look at the purchase date o well..I did have a few crashes when i first got this GPU. It was software related, the GPU wasn’t even out on the market for 1 month at the time. After 2 updates, those crashes do not exist at this point. It wasn’t often also, or when under stress like playing STAR CITIZEN, COD, ELITE DANGEROUS, and etc. I had 2 crashes total prior to the updating. The previous card, I used to replace the other was a 2080 S. Which is and still is a great GPU. But this thing on performance and benchmarking smokes the 2080s. Also smokes the 3070, its more close to the 3080 in my eyes of performance after comparing just not my own tests. But tests online who do this kind of thing for a living. Not talking about LINUS tech tips either. More of a GAMER NEXUS kind of view on the GPU. Getting this is way cheaper than buying a Nividia by FAR FAR. Not sure how it works on streaming. I don’t stream anymore. But thats the only thing they got over team red is that nividia decoder on video is way better. Not saying this card can’t do it. I am sure it can do that, and then some. Long as you got a good enough CPU so you can actually get the true power out of this thing. As in for the bottlenecking for most that suffer cause they got themselves a super beefy GPU but are still running an ancient cpu/mobo combo. Also id say get nothing less than 800w PSU cause this thing sucks up the power around 230ish Watts ive seen. The cost is what I liked. Not paying 1k+ for a team greener that some scalper was selling up to almost 2k at one point. Therefore i am beyond happy with the purchase. Will I ever buy another Nividia GPU? Of course!! Been buying there items before they were NIVIDIA. “3DFX” Just the performance, power, and price you can’t beat. There is even the 6850 XT also its a step up from this one. Just make sure you do your research as I did prior. Don’t follow others on youtube, that might seem to know but literally are just copy/pasting what main channels do. Ow ya!! Jay two cent’s knows his stuff also! Not hating on Linus just I think the other guys do much better presenting there finds and research! This also is the MERC319, its the more ramped up version.
