I bought this console used and it was advertised as coming with a free Mario Kart download but the original owner must have returned it without to promo code so I never got the free game that was technically included in the price

No Mario Kart
While we are happy with the gaming unit and the 3 months free membership, it is not clear how to download the free Mario Kart that was supposed to come with it. This is a total rip off if Nintendo does not remedy this. I did research and others have had the same experience. This is total false advertising, as it says it comes with a full free download of Mario Kart. If Nintendo fixes this problem, I will edit my review, but that is way not cool. Everything works great otherwise. It is not easy to navigate the free subscription and get the free to play downloads but rarely is anything free, easy…

Fun parent friendly gift
I love that my kid can take this with him everywhere and I was able to parental controls on it. Way easier to mange his screen time and the appropriateness of what he is doing. I can disable it from my phone see every detail of his actions. And way cheaper than the x box. I also know he can’t just order stuff with out my permission

Excellent Console for Everyone
I got this system because of Mario Kart but I ended up playing Breath of the Wild because it was on sale at Target. It is nice that I can continue playing Zelda off of the TV just before going to bed. To reduce the lag on the TV, I just forced it to 720p as I can not tell the difference between the graphics.

Nintendo’s best console to date
The Nintendo Switch is Nintendo’s best console to date. It performs flawless as a home console and handheld. The game library is massive including 3rd party titles, but the first party titles / classics (Zelda, Mario, & Metroid) really shine. My only complaint is the Joy-Con’s. They feel cheaply made and I experienced the common analog drift within my first hour of playing.

Rating subject to change once item is received.For anyone wondering if this bundle is the 2017 or 2019 model, it’s the newer one w/ the improved battery life as stated in the description, the older model has a 2-6.5hr battery life. The other visible difference is the box color: New is all red and Old is half red & half white. If you want to be more technical, the newer model # will appear like this “HAC-001 (-01)”.This is the non OLED MODEL too… So whoever rated this negatively because it a CLEARLY states which switch this is, needs to read more thoroughly.

Best Bundle You Can Currently Get
The Nintendo Switch Bundle works amazingly considering the age of the hardware. Although I wished Nintendo used the Switch OLED instead of the normal switch, both still have the same features in the end. If you’re looking for a gaming console for the holidays, you cannot go wrong with the Nintendo Switch. If you want next-generation hardware, go for the Xbox Series X or Playstation 5. If you’re the type that plans on playing virtual reality games, get the Oculus Quest 2. For me, the Nintendo Switch still has an abundance of first-party games that I will be plan on purchasing in the future!Overall Rating: 5/5

Best game console
I was looking for a game console for my daughters and immediately thought about Nintendo as they have Mario Bros which is the most iconic game series ever.This bundle came with Mario Kart which my girls love it as it is so much fun to play alone or with their friends.You can connect the Nintendo Switch to your TV or take it with you which is very convenient.I was a Nintendo fan since they released the NES and now I think my girls will be Nintendo fans as well.

Missing Mario Kart 8 Game Download Insert
Everything is working well except I didn’t receive the Mario Kart free download insert. I did receive the Nintendo Online membership for 3 months and that worked as well.I contacted Nintendo and gave them the serial number, box UPC label, etc. They gave me a download code after I explained the situation to them. A little bit of a pain to put together all the information for Nintendo, but everything is resolved now and resolved quickly.

ARE Joy cons defective?
We got this brand new for Christmas. The right hand joy con has been giving lots of problems. It randomly disconnects while in the middle of a game. The accelerometer doesn’t work well. Even after calibration, the characters pull the wrong way as if they get stuck.The console itself is neat. But I’m surprised by the quality. I’m short of ideas how to overcome the issue.Also, when playing two players, these joycons are very small and somewhat uncomfortable.

Remember when?
Sitting on the floor because the controller cords wouldn’t reach the couch, playing it on a 19″ or maybe the big tv in the living room. Those days are gone just like blowing into the cartridge to get the game to work. We immediately downloaded Mario Kart and were off to the races, playing cordlessly on a 65″ tv. The graphics are beautiful, sound is awesome. We added $$ to our online account and purchased a bunch of inexpensive games like skeeball, bowling, Wii sports. Loads of fun. Did I mention that I’m 60 years old. And Disney Speedstorm is excellent.

Fun game console to play
Arrived in good condition, the only rough bit was that I had to tinker with the screen a bit as whoever had owned the one I bought previously damaged the screen slightly as when typing, the screen kept wanting the cursor to jump back to the top left corner. After a bit of playing with the screen and testing it, the issue stopped soon after and has not been an issue since then. The game and the online pass were wonderful too. Would recommend this console to those who like to game at home, on the tv, on the device itself, or while on the go to elsewhere.

Still amazing.
The switch is fun and easy to use with an assortment of games at all price ranges (including free). It has new content all the time. Kids and adults can both use it together or independently. Bottom line: probably the most FUN gaming console available.Very much worth it to get the online subscription service for multiplayer and nostalgia gaming (nes, snes, 64).Single drawback: i am surprised the price hasn’t reduced over time, especially with the release of the OLED.
