It looks great, very bright with a different display settings. My only complaint so far is that the speakers are terrible.

Good product.
Very good screen, I’ve been gaming on it for at least 3 years now and it’s been holding up wonderfully. There has been a ghosting issue when playing games with a higher FPS, but I’ll blame that on me not having the res high enough. The menu settings are easy to navigate and it let’s you configure a lot of things, even the lighting setting on the back of the monitor. I was having an issue with it going into sleep mode when everything else turned off, the monitor would flip off for a second and come right back on. Not sure what that was about or how to fix it, but the problem did go away once I added a second monitor.

It’s alright
Good performance and response time, the height adjustment is alright. The color however is where the monitor lacks it’s just doesn’t have a great color accuracy and typically seems darker than it should be.

Good
I did a lot of research before purchasing this item. It’s great For a computer there’s no flaws with it. I would say it looks extremely clear nothing wrong, but I did buy it for my PlayStation and it’s not the best. It’s not exactly what I wanted, but I’m not going to complain That much because it’s still a beautiful screen if you play around with the settings, I’m more than sure that you can get it to your liking for gaming with my experience and this is for PlayStation, the screen is kind of dull and it makes the colors look wrong. I can try to put in a different HDMI cord and change around some of the settings but for right now that’s what’s going on It looks like it smashes your character Which is not a like but yeah again I think it’s possible to change it around, but with all of that said it’s a great monitor in general maybe lean towards more computer type instead of gaming

Solid side monitor when used in Vertical
I use this monitor (and used the previous generation one) as a vertically mounted side monitor for reading discord, email and Twich chat and absolutely love it. I had zero issues with the prior one I had until it was broken while I was moving (not the fault of the monitor) and the new generation one is even better for my uses while maintaining about the same price! Would recommend.

Good option.
Excellent monitor, although the brightness is very high the image is amazing. PS: If you’re going to buy a 30-inch curved monitor make sure you know the dimensions of the monitor, this monitor is large and a little long compared to others I’ve seen, but it’s a good purchase if you know the size well.

Impressive monitors for the price!! The wide screen is super nice!!!
Ok, I bought a mini pc replacing a much older gaming pc. I had dual 23″ monitors, one was only few years old the other was gawd how old, early HDMI days.. The older monitor didnt want to work well with the mini pc’s integrated graphic card. So I started doing my research for a new monitor. I am not one to spend alot on electronics but I wanted a decent monitor that was larger then my 23″. I went to several websites over the course of a few days and made a list of the ones that were commonly on them with good critic reviews. Sceptre C30 was on that list. I game alittle but work from home and I zoom call few times a month. With Windows 11 easy split screen it was like having 3 monitors. It was so nice!!! I had 3 full windows up and easy to read with the ultra wide screens. So after few weeks of using the Speptre C30 it was actually getting annoying how much better the picture quality was on the Sceptre verses the other monitor….. To be fair and transparent both monitors have the same picture resolution specs and were on the same settings. The 1 ms response time works well for gaming also. For what I paid, $220ish for ea it was so worth it. I just showed a few pictures to a friend who spent over twice for one monitor, 40″, and he was amazed at how much viewing screen I got for what $440…. And he was here the other day showing me how to play a character in a game. He said the picture on this monitor was amazing especially for the price!!! Now nothing is perfect!!! A big pitfall for me was the monitors have a very low profile and the height can’t be adjusted!! I am a pretty tall guy so this was a big problem. I had to spend $38 on monitor stands. But the reality is I found so much value in this monitor I bought a second one. And as I was writing this I had 4 windows going and it was like having 4 monitors. I am not an expert or pretend to be on computers but I am liking this set up alot. And the total price of everything was under $1000. new PC, 2x cables, 2x monitor stands, usb hub and a really nice keyboard and mouse. I paid more for just the gaming PC I replaced with alot worse monitors and keyboard. This monitor is a great buy!! Really gave me alot for very little money!!!

Highly impressed
Definitly recommend. Great quality without paying the insane prices of name brand monitors. Performances is as good as they say. Good quality video when playing games and videos. The speakers are decent but not insanely loud. For me this is fine it allows me to play my games and hear everything that is being said while listening to the environment.

Great Monitor with Glaring Caveats
First, I’d like to point out that I upgraded to this from an LG 29 inch IPS Ultra Wide from 2017 that died on me. Coming from a nice IPS display to this, I can see the clear difference between a VA and an IPS panel, as the colors have less pop, but that’s to be expected. Moving on…The construction is really nice and the features are all great. Even though this isn’t much bigger than the LG monitor I came from, iot feels like a much larger screen. Maybe that’s the effect of it being a curved display? It’s very interesting to me. The 200hz refresh rate is great and I can clearly notice the difference when playing games like Overwatch, Quake Champions, and Warframe at these high refresh rates. Freesync, as always is also great. I do not experience any real motion blurring that people have mentioned can happen with VA panels with this high of a refresh rate. For reference, the PC I paired this with is with a Ryzen 7 1700 at 3.9ghz and a Radeon RX 580 8GB.I want to point out that, unlike the LG monitor I had, this supports true Picture-in-Picture. I love this feature, as I have my PS4 hooked up to this monitor via HDMI as well, and love that there is a spare HDMI connection to go. PIP is such a big feature for monitors like this, so I am happy to see that here. Now, for probably the biggest caveats of the display, which makes it a bit frustrating to use.1.) I have this screen mounted to a vertical stand. The included VESA wall mount adapter works fine, but as I saw another reviewer mentioned, it does not give proper clearance for the screw that some of these VESA wallmounts use. Though it will flex against that middle screw, I only have this partically screwed in at the four corners. I don’t think this will cause the display to fall, as it is light (and really, it is 4 industrial screws, this thing does not have enough leverage to snap those), but it would be nice if the adapter had a built in indent to compensate for that screw.2.) This one is the most important. When Freesync is enabled, the display will stretch any connection to the full size of the monitor over HDMI. I was really scratching my head trying to figure out why my PS4, no matter the display setting I chose, kept stretching the PS4’s output to fill the screen. I was only able to correct this by disabling Freesync in the OSD. This is cumbersome, as I like to switch between both displays. I am sure this is something that can easily be corrected via a firmware update, so if someone from Sceptre is reading these, please put in the time to correct this. Otherwise, this monitor is fantastic, and I am very happy with it.I hope this review is found to be helpful, as this is a brand new monitor on the market. I took the risk, as Sceptre was one of the first screen manufacturers to make a 1080P budget HDTV back in 2008, which was my first HDTV. I really loved that TV, and the friend I gave it to still uses it to this day with no issues. So far, this display is great, outside of the cumbersome Freesync glitch.

Great Monitor
For being a “budget” monitor, this is a nice 30″ curved display. I play a lot of games and do a lot of video & and design work. It works great for all of them. Occasionally the HDR has a very slight issue trying to figure out what it wants to do. But it’s very far and few between. It’s a bright display as well. The built-in speakers are nice. They aren’t too loud, even at maximum volume, and since they sit on the back and underside of the monitor some things sound a bit muffled, but it does the job for watching a movie, YouTube, or whatever. The stand it comes on is nice. It isn’t anything special, but I have no concerns or issues with it. It has a pivot built into the monitor mounting point, that lets you adjust the monitor slightly to point down or up. But when you put the bracket on the back that lets you mount it to an arm or something that isn’t the default metal stand it doesn’t want to adjust and stick. It still moves but it causes it to tilt down slightly. So I just moved the arm that it’s mounted to up slightly and then everything is fine.I’ve thought about buying a second one of these, and I’d personally recommend the monitor.

Best Bang-For-Buck Ultrawide Curved Monitor
I was a little hesitant to buy this monitor (a few weeks, to be exact) due to the “too good to be true” price, but the mostly positive reviews and better overall feedback compared to similar monitors forced me to give in and tap that Place Order button.I must say, it fit my needs like a glove. No dead pixels or defects, and the brightness levels (which many have mentioned as being too low) worked well with the low brightness levels of the room it now occupies. The screen itself has a matte finish which is great for reducing/eliminating unwanted reflections. The stand feels sturdy; however, as others have mentioned, it does not have height adjustment. This is not a big problem for me, as the height and position of both the desk and chair allow for a nearly perfect ergonomic position for me (experiences may vary, consider yourself warned). Also, the speakers aren’t very good, but if you use a headset like me or plan on using a separate speaker system, this won’t be a problem. The colors seem ok to me, and backlight bleed during pitch black moments is minimal. As someone who’s never used an IPS or TN monitor, and only owned a TV or a laptop since the days of CRT monitors and processing speeds being measured in MHz instead of GHz, this is a major upgrade for me. My graphics card is a EVGA GTX 1660 Ti SC Ultra, and it seems to pair up nicely with this monitor. Just remember, you have to manually activate FreeSync from the menu (which only took a minute to get used to), and it works fine with Nvidia G-Sync. No tearing, ghosting, or artifacts that I can see. I have my display output settings on my PC set to 144Hz. I may bump it up to 200 and see how it goes, though according to most people they don’t notice much of a difference between 144 and 200 on any monitor. However, it is nice to have the option if I want it.Overall this monitor gives me everything I need, and a few things I don’t need but really wanted. If you have a GTX 1060, 1660, or 2060 graphics card and want to jump into an ultrawide monitor, the 30″ screen size and 2560×1080 resolution create the perfect Goldilocks zone where pixel density and immersion sing in harmony without having to push the graphics card beyond its limits (there is a 3440×1440 version of this monitor–the C35, I think–but you’ll probably want a 1070, 1070 Ti, or 2070 for that resolution). At a sub-$300 price point, I don’t think you can get a better curved ultrawide monitor than this one.

NO SOUND! Common issue. Still good deal but FYI!
I have had this monitor for about a year, I bought it for productivity @ work and it serves that function GREAT! I multi task all day or I need a lot of things open at all times. This is my main moniotr right infront of my face. Having 2 windows open fully on this and 1 on my secondary and it works great. BIG issue is no sound. PC wont recognize this device as a speaker. I have spend countless hours trying to figure it out when im board… and im an IT anaylist for 20+ years… I dont think the hardware is in the device to provide sound. Im not about to open it to find out but just makes sense. To many reports of the same issue. So beware you will get a good monitor but not as describe as there is no sound.

Amazing for price, stand could be better.
This monitor is great for the price, however, since the monitor is 1080p but also ultrawide the pixel density is not as great, and it shows. The worst part of this, for the most part, is an amazing monitor. The stand is made of cheap metal and you have to meticulously screw the parts together and you have to screw it to the monitor itself. Most monitors have it so you can just click it in but this different approach makes it very frustrating to assemble. They should have put the money they spent on the dumb rgb lights that they put into the back that you can hardly even see and put it into making the product better. I found a 1440p 27″ curved monitor for the same price so I returned this one and opted for the other. I can see this monitor being a very good main monitor especially for officework but also a good vertical monitor.

Phenomenal screen for a great price
So far I’ve had no issues with this screen. It is extremely sturdy, works perfectly with whichever video card it’s connected to, runs well in duel screen running. I like the feature of it have a back light that matches the color scheme and it can be switched on and off if you want no back light. Absolutely great resolution and hz speed reception with more high end games.

Greatest Bang for your Buck
The gaming performance is a massive upside to this, the sharpness with colors is impressive, response time is 110% reliable at all times, brightness is adjustable multiple ways and the adjustment angling for up and down is stiff. Never had any issues with this monitor over the time I’ve had it. Heavily recommend to anyone searching for quality, price, and longevity.

Great monitor with minor caveat
Display is flawless. However the anti glare coating does no favors. Color and white shift berry apparent on sides, even when monitor is placed further away. The curved VA model is more consistent, even at different viewing angles. I have both models.8 bit color is oversaturated. But colors do look nice even though it has a slight shift. IPS glow is bad in dark room.Where this display shines:No back light bleedNo dead pixelsVery fast IPS with minimal detail degradation with motion. No smearing! The curved model has some detail loss and slight smearing on black and greys using UFO test in browser. But in real world gaming, Its difficult to see the difference unless you set them side by side you wouldn’t notice. I would prefer the curved model for me. UNLESS you are highly competitive and have a RX 7900XTX or RTX 4090, you will probably never max out the 200hz.I love the monitor. But fory needs, I would have gone with the curved model. For ultra wide curved actually makes sense.Speakers are just there if you need them in a pinch. Any USB powered speakers are going to blow it away for sound.

Designed for gaming with the right PC Hardware. Not designed as a MAC Gamer.
One drawback is when it comes to PC’s and Monitors, you won’t know for sure until you try it out for yourself. You can ask the seller questions, but sometimes the question you should have asked isn’t obvious until the thing is sitting on your desk. It may boil down to something very specific to your application/environment/ergonomics that the seller, or even the manufacturer can’t give you a definitive answer because of the subjective nature of sitting in front of a screen for hours at a time. A big help for me in determining which to order is to download the user manual and quick set-up guides from the Manufacturer Website. By carefully reading the specs and going through the OSD Menu entries I am sure that what I’m ordering, at least on paper, has the right specs. This way, the monitors should have all the right comparable specs and you should end up with what you really want. Still, as was it was in my case you may have to try it out before you can finalize the purchase. I need a widescreen curved monitor such as this 30″ Scepter with PBP (split screen) so as to be able to work on documents from two different inputs, i.e. two PC’s. So I am reviewing this from more of a business angle, not from a Gaming criteria. Basically, it is a simple, single-purpose gaming PC Monitor. If used just for gaming on an Nvidia Graphics PC, it works as advertised. You’ve got to match video cards, max res, number and type of inputs, hdmi 1.4, 2.0? Is Displayport 1.2 enough? I finally narrowed down to a 30-32 inch 21:9 ultrawide, curved, (gaming) monitor though I would only use it for business. I need a split screen with quick and easy transition from one input to another. To change inputs from one PC to another on this monitor requires 11 button pushes and the dual split-screens are squished horizontally as determined by the screen width and 2560hz horizontal resolution. Nothing really wrong with the monitor itself. My opinion is that this monitor should be best acknowledged as a single input Gaming monitor. It was not quite suitable for my application. Better would be a wider monitor with higher horizontal frequency. The Wall Plate though not it’s intended use can be attaching it to a standard 4 hole Vesa mounting arm plate. It comes with a 75mm 4 hole Adapter, so it can be done. Two little bolts attach one side to the monitor, the other side can be fastened to a regular Monitor mounting plate (75mm hole pattern) on the extended arm of your vesa desktop stand mounted to your desk . You will have to obtain an additional four M4 x 20mm bolts, with washers and nuts to bolt (fasten) Wall Mount to the Vesa plate of your stand. Easily accomplished except for obtaining your own hardware. No wall plate screws are supplied as there are different types of wall mounts. At this price point, as I’ve mentioned, this monitor is designed to work best with a PC having an Nvidia Video Card using GSync. They tell you up front how it’s designed to work. With the right hardware you can get the 160 – 200 hz frequency for high-end gaming. With Displayport 1.2 I was able to get 120hz picture that was good enough for ordinary Windows 10 desktop, but I can’t comment how it would work for gaming. Need Displayport 1.4, or Hdmi 2.0 to obtain 160-200hz. The Nvidia drivers must be up to date and can be downloaded from Nvidia Website. The driver page lists a long paragraph of Nvidia cards compatible with that driver. It may work well enough with other PC video cards as well, but I was using an old GT 620. No problem with the latest driver but not suitable for intensive gaming. Using with a Mac, (I have a Macbook Pro) is a crapshoot. Older Macs are designed to work with older Mac compatible hardware. This monitor, as is the case with the majority of OEM generic monitors, is directed at the Windows PC Market. If it works with your Mac, well and good, but don’t count on it, not for serious gaming for sure. My 2011 Macbook Pro has early thunderbolt – backwards compatible with mini-displayport. I used a mini-displayport cable with short mini-displayport to Displayport adapter. Macbook has a 2560×1440 spec video output. It connected with the monitor but full-screen picture was a little vertically flattened, (i.e.horizontall stretched); not acceptable. Mac System Preferences Display Icon showed 1080p. That is correct, but the Macbook is designed for 4:3 ratio. My Macbook was never intended to handle 21:9 aspect ratio; not the fault of the monitor. Works perfect though with my 21.5 inch Acer screen. Newer macs with thunderbolt 3, a.k.a. USB-C should be compatible with USB-C input monitors. In order to avoid the hassle of a return, my advice is to ask the seller – better yet, download the manual, especially with third-party sellers as return shipping is pretty expensive. Be aware of the intended use and specs and consider that in order to get a monitor with better options, you might have to spend another $100.00 or more. What I could determine is that used as intended and properly set up, it will do what is advertised at 160hz For business, with dual inputs, maybe not, but the manufacturer does not advertise it as anything but designed for gaming so I really can’t complain. I had to try it to find out.Walter O.

My husband loves these monitors for work. Screen quality is amazing. Works well for his CAD/BIM work. They are pretty short in terms of height but he likes it. They feel pretty flimsy but we have managed to move them a few times while doing remodelling without issues.

QUALITY! Metal stand – Zero dead pixals – Ability to change the blue to ease eye strain
I was immediately impressed with the metal stand.1) The design of the stand provides PLENTY of room underneath to store my tape, stapler, paperclips etc., so they are out of the way. The stand will NOT move as it has stay put rubber feet! When you put it into place; you can be sure (unless it’s SHOVED) it will stay put! Also there is a hole in the back of the stand to run your wires through.2) However I did have to go into the NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL to set it correctly. Mine was defaulted at 1920 x 1080p (this setting did not utilize the full 30″ screen) So I went to the Search box, down by the start button, and I typed NVIDIA control panel. Then, under display, I clicked on: Change Resolution and chose 2560 x 1080 (native). It stretched the screen out to the actual full screen.3) Speakers: There are mixed reviews on the built in speakers. IMO they are just fine for people talking, but only for people talking. You’ll not be happy for music nor movies. I can use my laptop speakers or plug in my external speakers to my laptop. I don’t like to keep them plugged all the time in as I don’t have room for the USB, and I do not wish to use a USB hub.4) There are 2 HDMI and 1 Data Port. I didn’t bother with the Data Port because I have a nice certified HDMI cable.5) I didn’t do too much to the settings on the monitor (buttons on the right). I did change the blue light shift to 30%. Either would probably be fine as it will be easier on the eyes.6) I purchased this particular monitor because of the great price. Also that I had seen a review done by someone that had it for 2 years and said it held up very well.7) I’m sitting a distance of about 2 feet from it, and it’s good. I’m glad I didn’t get the 32″8) Measurements: Distance from desk to bottom of the frame 3 1/2″, Vertical; About 11 inches, Horizontal: A little under 27 inches, Actual diagonal: About 29 1/2 inches (which they did disclose).9) Curved: It’s not noticeable (that’s a good thing). I “thought” I wanted a flat screen, but my son talked me into the curved, and I’m glad. I did purchase the 3 year warranty, which I don’t usually do, but it was only $20.I hope this helps someone!

Very big
I went from an 18 inch monitor to this. I did know it was wide, but I hadn’t expected it to be as big as it was. The picture quality is excellent, and I haven’t had issues running any games on it at all. The color and contrast is wonderful, and the stand is well built. The built in speakers have good quality for a monitor as well, which is an added bonus. Plus a got a screwdriver in the box. I love screwdrivers.

Clear and great colors
I just got this to go along with my Mac Mini M4. I didn’t wanna buy a super expensive monitor. I am stunned at how great this performs for working with multiple documents on the same screen. It’s perfect.

Muy bueno
Parece mas grande de lo que realmente es, actualmente tengo un monitor curvo de 24″, este que es de 30″ tiene el mismo alto de pantalla, solo varia el ancho. La imagen es excelente, muy estético al instalarlo.

Good monitor for the price, with some small imprefections
I bought this monitor several years ago. It has worked great and been wonderful to have. The sound quality of the speakers is not great, but I don’t use them anyway. My biggest issue is that the control buttons on the bottom of the monitor are made of… affordable… plastic, and have broken on me. Currently I have to use a qtip to turn it on, off, or to access the menu.

Nice screen bad speakers
1 week usage review. I bought this monitor because I had a specific sized space in an old roll top desk to fit it in. This fit almost perfectly. The screen itself is easy to assemble and the quality is really nice. It is a little narrower from top to bottom than you would expect but not bad. Playing games, watching videos and skimming the web it works great. I will point out it comes set into eco mode which restricts hz to 60. Take the stupid eco stuff off and the screen is mint. Fast paced games have no artifacts or blur. I run it at cap resolution and hz. I took a star away because it says it has speakers but you can hear a mouse fart across the room with these things at max volume. Would rather spend slightly less and not get these horrible speakers.

This monitor is AMAZING
The monitor is AMAZING 200hz, 30 inches, smooth as ever. But there is one ONLY one bad thing and that is the monitor bracket for monitor arms. It is very hard to use with monitor arms and with mine I can’t even put all the screws in. Other than that it is PERFECT! I recommend buying this monitor 100%! Hope this review helps you with your thinking of buying this.

The build quality is solid, with a sturdy stand and premium finish that exudes durability.**Visual Experience (5/5):**Gaming on this monitor is an absolute joy. The 2560×1080 resolution and the refresh rate deliver stunning visuals and incredibly smooth gameplay. The curved design wraps the screen around your field of vision, enhancing immersion and making you feel like you’re right in the action. Colors are vibrant, and blacks are deep, thanks to the monitor’s excellent contrast ratio.**Performance (5/5):**This monitor is a powerhouse for gaming. Good value and works well
At first the picture on the PS5 was washed out looking . After switching the picture seting to user and making slight adjustments I got the colors back . It stretches the picture so that figures gain some wieght , but improves detail some . I’m liking it .

Impulse bought a cheap monitor and was wowed at the results!
I travel for work often and in doing so many of my trips are by car for sometimes months at a time. What I really needed was a small TV but I also wanted something nice to game on so I opted to spend a little more than a TV and wasn’t willing to spend as much as a bigger brand like Samsung wanted. This has been perfect for me. I spent just enough that if it becomes damaged in transit I wont be terribly upset, but the quality for the price is great. I will also add that I am a casual gamer and money is more important to me then 100% perfect quality all the time so this has been a perfect solution. I would recommend to anyone wanting solid gaming monitor option on a budget!
