Good RTX entry level video card
Wow, great card for the price! 12GB GDRR6 memory, 192-bit, and Ray Tracing, and it’s an upgrade from my Nvidia/EVGA 1660 black and that card was a beast! Highly recommended!!!!!

Epic graphics card for fooling around with rays and playing anything on 1080p to be honest. I bought it as a temporary card and I’ve somehow fallen in love with it.

Good for the money
The RTX 3060 has been used for UE5 development on my end. Making games in VR is cool and time consuming but this card has proved more than enough for my needs.Plays games at higher FPS than the 580 it replaced and supports more features than I anticipated.

Great upgrade, even though it is an older card, for a studio setting. Decent gaming.
Great for Photoshop, Lightroom, and photo editing in general. I am a high volume professional portrait photographer and getting Adobe programs to run efficiently is crucial to my workflow. The new, 2024, version of Photoshop and Lightroom would run poorly on my 8 year old graphics card with 4gb of ram. This card, with 12gb of ram, fixed all my problems and should work great for several years. I chose this model because my applications require more ram instead of more processing speed like in gaming, so the newer, more expensive models like the 4000 series, or the more expensive 3060ti with 8gb would not have lasted as long for me, would not have given me the benefits that this card offers, or would simply would not offer enough improvement to justify the price. This card really falls in the sweet spot right now, April 2024, for performance for the money.I can play pretty much every game on this card, but I use reduced graphics settings for games under 2 years old. I don’t care about super high frame rates and ultra high detail, so it is perfect for me.

Another solid NVIDIA video card!
Bought this to replace an overheating XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. I could rant all day about that card. But THIS! THIS excellent NVIDIA graphics card cost less, performs better, doesn’t overheat, and takes up less space in my computer case. Win, Win, Win, Win! I bought it so I could run Quadcopter and RC plane simulators. I had a bought an X-Box One X because the Radeon, but if I had just gotten this card, my PC could have been my gaming rig. If you can find this card, buy it before it’s gone.

Don’t take up much space
I bought this as a low cost alternative to replace my dying RTX 3080 OEM card for my prebuilt PC I bought in 2020.Easy to install, make sure to take your time and ground yourself to the case.

Works
Works as it should. Kinda bummed on performance. Fps is the same as my 6 yr old 570. Not worth 300 inho. It was a gift from my wife or I would have returned it and got a no name 580 instead. I prefer amd over nivdia anyway.

This GPU is a beast but get the TI if you can.
Make sure your power supply is able to support the Ti and if possible pick that one don’t get me wrong though this GPU is still a beast for 1080p gaming. It will definitely hit above 60fps and pairing it with a 5600x GPU just makes it so much better. Although there are some downsides. The noise is definitely significantly louder then the old GPU which was a 1660 ti. What is worse is it came overclocked out the box I didn’t think it was a problem but it made my PC overhear really fast! Luckily I managed to go to my PC bios and set everything to default and that seemed to fix this serious issue.

Expectations Met
I ordered this product to run Stable Diffusion and continue the games I enjoy at the same quality as my AMD 6600. So far the 3060 has met my expectations. It was delivered quickly, was a fast swap in with my desktop and has worked without incident since. NVIDIA software runs well and the installation is pretty simple. All in all, a good introductory card for AI art programs while having respectable ability for gaming and graphics. Worth its price point of ~300 with tax and fees.Still, it is always advisable to make sure a card meets the requirements of what you want before you order.

Amazing!!!
The GeForce RTX 3060 is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for strong 1080p and decent 1440p gaming performance without breaking the bank. I can play modern games at high settings with smooth frame rates, and it also handles creative tasks like video editing and 3D rendering quite well. The card runs quietly, and the power efficiency is impressive – I haven’t experienced any overheating issues. While it’s not the top-of-the-line for 4K gaming, it’s a solid mid-range card with great value for gaming and multitasking. Highly recommended!

Great upgrade
Was a snug fit into my Dell Optiplex 7070 but it does fit. I’m very happy with the speed and clarity of the monitor picture. I can run MS Flight Sim at full speed and 4K. So many more games run at full throttle now. Not sure how it will do on your machine, but this works great on mine. The fans take a while to kick on which means the card isn’t running hot. My CPU fan does seem to kick on sooner, though it doesn’t get too hot. The OEM box isn’t known to be a vent powerhouse, so it’s not the cards fault. I did order another more powerful box fan, so we’ll see how that goes when I get it.

Depending on what your other components are, this thing can run Fortnite really good on high performance, its pretty small its very easy to install, it has a dual fan which is alright couldn’t really afford a triple fan and the cooling is great

Amazing just great
No issues. Arrived so quickly. Installation was a breeze. I have no issues running any current games. There are some exceptions but for the most part this thing can handle just about any current game. No issues with overheating. I did buy this on sale but even for retail it’s a great pick for a GPU. You will have to upgrade eventually but it is worth the money and will last you a few years.

Surprised at how easy it is to install.
Very straight forward design and the instructions gave you a very simple idea of how to get it installed. Very fast with same day delivery. I asked for a in-person delivery but they left it RIGHT in front of my door. Lucky the packaging was anonymous, but it made me nervous as I was away from home at the time. Otherwise, great card for the price and keeps a steady performance on most of my intensive games.

As good as they’re saying
My 2080ti served me well for many years but she passed recently. Thankfully, this thing was a fraction of what I payed for my 2080ti. The 3060 doesn’t pull the same weight obviously but I got a good card and am able to OC it at +140 core and +1000 memory. Super stable and passes all of 3DMark’s recent stress tests like a dream. I miss the power of my 2080ti (the thing needed 2 PSU connections!) but I’ll get a few more years out of this PC without having to break the bank.

MSI Ventus 2x RTX 3060 OC Edition
I bought this for my son, who want’s to write a review about it. The MSI-Ventus 2x RTX 3060 OC Edition GPU is a mostly high standard GPU in his my experience, in mid range build terms. If you’re looking for performance in most AAA games, this may not be a terrible choice, but one criticizm I do have is that it still cannot load Portal with RTX very well. Otherwise great product, can’t really complain about preformance, I get 82 FPS in Minecraft Bedrock Edition in RTX maps, without changes to the GPU settings.

Are you wanting to get into AI?, this is a great starter card for the price!
While I’m sure this card does really well at Gaming. I did get 60+ FPS with Hell Divers 2 with all options on at 1920×1080 resolution. I didn’t purchase this card for that. The main rules that come to working with AI are.1) VRAM is Required2) Cuda Cores Count is Required3) RAM speed (GDRR*)4) RAM size (GB*)AI needs VRAM, no other way around it, and the more you have the more prompts, higher resolutions and async operations you can run. Image and video processing can dumped to the CPU, even LLMs running local GPT/Llama setups can be dumped to the CPU, but having a GPU is much more desired and needed when working with Images & Video.Unless you are building out your own RTX 4090 array rig for AI processing, or Renting GPU space by the hour. This isn’t for you. But if you are wanting some hobby stuff at home playing around with ComfyUI, Automatic1111 or even Krita and just getting into the AI space, this card knocks it out of the park.Remember kiddos, AMD/Intel just don’t cut it (yet), NVIDIA is a hard requirement.

It’s great! I love it!
Recently, I gotten into sim racing and well, I needed more VRAM but also more performance. I figured why not refresh my pre-built PC and give it some more love!At the time, I had a MSI GTX 1660 Super Gaming X, it was great at the time due to me playing low-end to mid-end range games, occasionally some high-end games time to time but with running Assetto Corsa with a few mods, the 6GB of VRAM on the graphics card was suffering quite a bit, leading to an unpleasant experience such as stutters for long periods of time, even lower my graphics wasn’t enough to keep up with what was going on in my game. With the RTX though.. it’s been such a wonderful experience. Never had an RTX before, hell, not even a GTX before getting my PC. I always was a console player so having to make such a huge switch was definitely a good investment. With the 12GB of VRAM from the RTX, I have no issues playing Assetto Corsa anymore, no stuttering or anything like that! Temps wise, I am not too sure what it is as I mainly monitor my CPU temp but it has been quiet.Although, the only mistake I’ve made was that I didn’t do enough research and ended up bottlenecking the RTX with my i5-10400F so I am not getting all the performance from the GPU. Still though, for what it is, I am happy with this graphics card. I am new to PCs and what not so upgrading my pre-built along the way I go will do just fine for me.

Best bang for your buck.
Scored this card for $280, upgraded from a 3gb GTX 1060. WOW what a difference. The last few years I’ve been able to overclock my 1060 to play most modern games at acceptable frame rates. The new Space Marine dropped and my 1060 couldn’t keep up. For the price I paid, my system is running all new games at ultra with no problems. 10/10 would recommend.

Great card…BUT
This card is great and is definitely a bargain.—PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS–• For a 12GB OC Card, it’s pretty slow without overclocking and even then, it’s nothing crazy.• This 3000 series card for whatever reason doesn’t have universal DLSS compatibility• This card is often compared to the 6000 series AMD Cards but in my opinion, the 6000 series AMD Cards are better.• This card is a banger if you want a rendering GPU if you’re streaming, recording videos, etc.• Most games, depending on what games you play, can be ran at 60+ frames at Medium to High Graphics.—GAMES THAT CAN RUN AT 60+ FRAMES–• Cyberpunk 2077 – DLSS, Medium to High Graphics (65fps avg.)• XDefiant – High graphics with “on+boost” (90fps avg.)• R6 – USE VULKAN FOR DLSS + BOOST. Comp settings on 4:3. (160fps avg.)• Arma 3 – medium to high graphics. (85fps avg.)• American Truck Simulator – DLSS ON with graphic mods. (100fps avg.)

Download drivers from msi.com
I bought this for machine learning with cuda and also running LLaMA and Stable Diffusion. I bought it because it has 12GiB VRAM. I bought it to use with Debian Linux. The standard 555.42.6 driver from Debian non-free does not work with this card. You have to download the driver directly from the MSI website. I downloaded it as a .run file rather than a .deb file. At first I had quite a bit of trouble because the most recently updated driver was not also the most recent driver. The most recently updated was 550.100 which was updated a week ago, but the 555.42 driver is the current driver. The 550.100 driver installed fine and I could use it for PyTorch, but Llama.cpp and stable diffusion would fail with cryptic error messages. Now that I have the correct driver installed, I am happy to report that everything works amazingly well.

Good upgrade for the money
Looking at the specs, I liked the 3060 over the 4060 (even though the 4060 does get an extra ~10fps in most games) simply because I was hesitant to buy a card with less than a 192-bit memory interface. After some testing and witnessing this card turn my 8 year old i5-6500 into a complete bottleneck, I was pretty surprised with the results. To start, the OC edition will automatically bump up the core clock even past the advertised boost clock speeds as high as it’s comfortable. For me, that meant 2000+ MHz out of the box. With MSI afterburner, I had the card running at 2200+ MHz in modern games like Forza Horizon 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 without ever going above 67c.That’s another thing, this is the first card I’ve ever had with a stock fan curve I actually don’t mind. My last card’s stock fan curve let it hit 83c, which had me using custom fan curves from extra programs like Precision X OC in the background of every single game. With this card, fans kick on at 55-60c and keep temps under 65c usually, unless I’m pushing the card at close to 100%, and quickly bring temps down to 40c before shutting off completely. Very quiet gaming, wether the fans are on or not actually.Upgrading from a 1060, the difference is pretty drastic. Most games easily hit 90-120fps on high/ultra settings at 1080p, with the exception of a few demanding titles (lookin’ at you RDR2) and that’s with my aging i5. I’ve played with upscaling in some games as well and still managed to keep a steady 60fps at bare minimum. I’ll admit, I was skeptical about DLSS at first (Nvidia’s choice to make the 4060 and 4070 a 128-bit card and claim that DLSS 3 would more than make up for it left a bad tast in my mouth) but it’s been pretty nice so far, definitely not to be overlooked. At ~$280, this is a pretty good upgrade from the 1060 I spent $220 on almost 8 years ago. Should I have spent a little more for a 4060 or maybe a 3060ti? Maybe. For a “budget” build though, this card will definitely satisfy.
