This Beauty is an Absolute Beast!
Ordered from “Michaels Goods” Tuesday morning, package arrived Wednesday at noon. Very fast shipping! Received as described, in NEW condition and noticably unopened. The packaging was very secure and GPU came in retail box. The card works so far as advertised and have had no issues. I am satisfied, paid the price. Would recommend the seller.

Rendering time is down by 25% from previous model
It’s used for high-end graphics rendering It has decreased render time by almost 25% based on the previous model of Nvidia card

Best for the Money at MSRP?!
Let me start by saying obviously – this is the hardest card to get on the market. Ironically, it was also a budget choice for me due to the fact that 3080ti’s are selling well above this on the aftermarket and third-party vendors are selling their 3080ti’s for the same if not more expensive so it was an easy choice for me to get this card since I have the intention to water-cool it at some point.Performance – it is the top of the top, the only knock is the temps under high load so what I recommend is buying new thermal pads and replacing them (I Used Thermalright Extreme Oddesey 1.5mm) for more efficient cooling. It is super easy to do and there are tons of videos on how to do it as well. You CANNOT lose your warranty for disassembling the product – so don’t fear as this is a relatively easy task to do.Build – I was SHOCKED with how heavy this GPU weighed and it is because it is made VERY WELL. Also, it should be it is $1500! It has caps for all the screws, the fans run really quietly, and generally just feels good to the touch. Being my first reference card ever bought I was blown away with how much better its construction is vs some 3rd party vendors. On a side note, this card is HUGE – it was about 3/4th the size of my G915 Full-size keyboard so make sure your case and PCI slot can fit this as it is a huge and heavy card. Make sure you get a bracket for your motherboard as well to prevent GPU sag. This card does have two white (non-RGB) lights that are either both on or both off, they aren’t very bright so if you don’t particularly care for them or the color it isn’t a big deal as you can only slightly see them through tinted glass.Conclusion- If you can secure this card and afford it, It is the best on the market in the 1400+ range and especially so at MSRP. Bragging rights, frames and a solid-looking card that can blend in with most builds is what you can look forward to. It is super easy to say this is the best card on the market when many can’t get it – but if you get the chance to at MSRP I would pull the trigger every single time on this card.

It’s one of those “I don’t need it, but I want it” purchases
Let me tell you.. because I should have listened, if you want to strictly game on this GPU, save your money. This GPU is incredible, it can play any modern game with any desired setting, Ray Tracing enabled, everything.. at an okay frame rate. But when comparing it to its little brothers, gaming-wise, you’re better suited for one of them. Compare benchmarks between the 3070 Ti up to the 3090 and you’ll notice the cards perform at similar framerates. So if FPS is what you’re after, you’ll be fine with a lower tier card. If you’re not playing at 4K, creating content, or graphic design, I really see no use in having 24GB of VRAM when you aren’t going to need it all. The most VRAM I’ve used was around 7GB when I maxed every setting possible on RDR2. 7GB would definitely put some strain on any 8GB card such as a 3070, which is where you decide what you want. Are you fine with 1440p? Medium to high settings with a few options turned off? I would recommend something in the 3070 family. 1440p with some 4K options, on the highest settings, then a 3080 should suit your needs. 4K, with nearly every graphic setting turned on or maxed and that is where the 3090 comes into fruition. Might I add every 30 series card should crush most games at any given setting in 1080P. Do you have a 4K monitor with a decent refresh-rate? No? Then stick to a 3070/3080 GPU. Also, don’t overpay, or pay scalper’s prices. How long until NVIDIA announces the 4090 with 32GB of VRAM for the price of a 3070’s MSRP. Also, DDR5, new motherboards, new CPUs, are slated to come out in the next few years. Is $2500 really burning in your pocket, or can it wait?

It really is new
After I had ordered it I kept coming back to the reviews and reading them over again. There were so many bad ones that I started getting really worried and nearly canceled before it even arrived and then worried about being charged a ridiculous restocking fee without even opening the box. My husband and video recorded the entire process just in case.I’m so happy it came out to be a positive experience. My husband has been in IT for 30 years and explained that it’s not in an Invidia box because it’s an oem piece of hardware. He looked it over (not a scratch on it), popped it in his box and ran some bench marks. It performs just like a brand new 3090. I’m very happy with with the card and my experience.

Took the gamble and came out a winner.
I gambled on a used RTX3090, and it works brilliantly. Benchmarked and tested, it ran better than the average RTX3090; according to the benchmark, it was not used for mining. I lucked out getting this from what seemed to be a reputable seller at a reasonable price, and to my surprise, it is in phenomenal shape. The seller is 100% trustworthy.

Laughable rendering speeds: in a good way.
I use this for video editing and motion graphics design. I have been able to edit in real time with 6k footage in DaVinci Resolve with up to 8 nodes with no problems whatsoever. I will caveat that by saying I have raid setups and a powerful Gigabyte motherboard and Intel chip. That being said, I had a 1080ti in the same system and constantly had to pretender as I went and it really slowed me down. Since the upgrade I have not slowed down a bit. And more importantly, when I used the card to render out vs the CPU the difference was night and day. The CPU might take 20-30 minutes and the card took about 4 minutes. That’s when I laughed out loud. Very very expensive but if you need fast bad, this will do it. Keep in mind, DaVinci Resolve does not take advantage of SLI technology. I was trying to connect two 1080ti cards and that’s when I realized that and had no choice but to get this 3090. Glad I did.

You already know
You’re probably gonna get ripped off if you want one of these in the first half of this year. Anyone can buy the latest cards to mine with, and thus they just don’t make sense at MSRP. Hold steady with what you’ve got if you don’t want to partake in the inevitable crappiness of supply and demand.

Great card, high price
I upgraded from a zotac 2080 Ti to this card and the difference despite only being a generation apart is huge. All of my games run smoother, the more intensive games I can run at even higher quality, and some weird compatibility issues with the zotac card are gone. This card just works and it works incredibly well. The only thing to note is that cards like these are all going for crazy high prices. I wouldn’t say that’s the sellers fault necessarily, just the state of GPUs in this economy. I looked up what a 2080 Ti is going for on Newegg and they’re going for $2,000. If you’re looking at buying between a 2080 Ti and this 3090, spend the extra couple hundred bucks and get the 3090. Otherwise I’d say wait for the prices of cards to come back down or just hold out for the 40 series cards.

WOW
That’s all I can say. WowGreat price and even better graphics than I expected. She runs a bit hotter than normal. Looked it up online and she’s definitely hitting higher temps than it’s supposed too. Hopefully at the price I paid it’s going to last 🤞

Works well but keep it clean
Good video but you should jump to a 1100 power supply before installing. 850 is just enough but it’s nice to have breathing room. It gets very hot also.

I bought mine at MSRP
I bought it during a Best Buy drop (along with a 3080ti by waiting outside overnight). Its a great GPU, just dont buy it at these inflated, insulting prices. I held hold until I could get it at msrp and I recommend you as well!

Monstrous Performance
Sure, I got scalped. Paid way more than MSRP. But it’s that, or what? Waiting for a few pings on your cell phone once a month, giving you T-minus six seconds to respond to an ‘in stock’ alert just to get thwarted? Then you pull up an article reading how there’s literally Fast and Furious level heists against semi-trucks transporting RTX 3090’s? Wait, that’s not enough? How about Nvidia preparing to launch their 4000-series cards and you’re still twiddling your thumbs with a 2080? Wait, you want more? How do you propose to battle the literal retail bot programs that run while you’re sleeping or taking a dump to purchase these cards from all known vendors as soon as a stock notification pops up on your phone with an automated delivery system that probably goes straight to a bitcoin warehouse? No, you’re not crazy, this is the world we live in.Despite whatever social status it gives me, I paid extra and got what I really wanted. It came in pristine condition, factory sealed. Holy hell, right out of the box, it’s a heavy son of a gun. Once installed, it literally weighs on your PCI slot to your motherboard enough where if left unattended, it will bend the PCI connector downwards. Luckily, they sell $10.00 mounts. It’s just an adjustable peg you can put on the opposite side of the GPU underneath and prop it up.Performance? Unless I’m playing a PC game that’s from a developer who doesn’t know how to optimize their games, I’m locked in at 144 FPS. Star Wars: Battlefront II was the first game I wanted to test it on. DX12, Ultra’d out of my mind graphics, and with a 130% in-game resolution, it doesn’t drop a frame from 144, even in intensive battles. Tried GTA V, roughly 100 FPS on maxed out settings while driving, 144 FPS indoors or when stopped. Red Dead Redemption 2 is roughly 110 – 120 FPS on high graphics. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla around 110 FPS maxed out. Disclaimer that you need more than a sweet GPU to get that type of performance (32GB DDR5 RAM, 5.2 GHZ CPU, light overclock, etc), but it’s where most of it comes from.Temperatures? 58 – 68*C, depends on the title. Coming from a 2080 that ran 76*C most games, this card has a 10 degree difference and it’s plenty. If you’ve got extra case fans, or you want to mess with the thermistors, go for it. The temperatures when running triple A titles seems comfortable to me. If you need to, sure, crack an egg over the top of your 3090 and cook some breakfast. That’s on you.Noise? Surprisingly quiet. If the fans do decide they need to up the ante, they do so very quietly.5/5 and hopefully I don’t need to buy another GPU for 5-7 years. Pull the trigger on this beast!

Excellent card but research before you buy.
The value is market price which is higher than the manufacturer initially intended. The card needs additional cooling because of the design, and this is absolutely required. The performance is excellent.

Great card, too pricey for gaming only.
It’s a great graphics card overall. Really low temperatures (40-50 celsius) under my usual heavy loads of gaming. I had a problem of a noise from the coil when it’s under low loads, however once I increase the load, the noise fades away, this was explained to me by a few technicians and it wasn’t something big to worry about. Cost benefit analysis? honestly depends on you, don’t buy it if it’s not for you, I do video encoding as well so it’s a bonus for me, however if it’s merely for games and general use, a 3080/70 will work just fine. As it’s definitely not worth the price if you only game.

Best GPU for gaming
Don’t listen to clueless people who say this card isn’t good for gaming. It’s incredible for gaming. Never above 60 degrees with everything maxed out and consistently hitting 150+ fps at 1440p.This card is NOT only good for workstations. For gaming, there is no equal. It annihilates every other card out there.

2 GRAND???????
I’m not sure why so many people bought this for anymore than $1100 since the 4080 is literally $100 more…but I got mine for $942 w/ tax included, shipped from ebay. This thing is a GAMING BEAST. I’m using it with my 1440p curved monitor and can’t wait to go 4k when those monitors go lower in price…lol, I know, I just spent a grand and I’d rather not spend more. All my games play well above +85fps with ultra settings @1440p on every game I’ve been playing (not cyberpunk yet bec I haven’t bought it).

Very fast. Training models is fun!
I bought this for a young ML Engineer on our team and he loves it 🙂 He is right now training an deep network powering an entity matcher for an entity resolution model. He finds it performs very well for representation learning and for fine tuning representations for supervised learning tasks. He can use more layers and parameters and more costly hyperparameters.I mean uh… fast GPU 🙂 What else is there to say?

Great upgrade to keep up with the AI tools from Adobe
I have been doing a lot of bath editing with photos in Photoshop and Lightroom along with 4k and 5k video edits in Sony Vegas . I used to have to reload a repair after several software crashe, losing settings and time on my 2016 High en comeputer with an 8GB card. My video used to have to be proxy edited in order to speed up the process and not dimm the lights in the house. I upgrated to a new 12 core processor and then picked this card to handle the load ! Amazing, I have yet to push the limits and deliver completed projects more efficiently. Highhly reccomend .

I purchased this card in December of 2020. She’s a beast still to this day!
What a great graphics card. I purchased this card in December of 2020 when I replaced a defective PNY 3090. This card has been flawless. I leave my computer on 24/7/365 and game primarily at night. No issues, no hiccups, just wicked fast frame rates on my 43 inch ASUS ROG Swift PG43UQ 144Hz 4k G-Sync monitor!
