    Great value.

This card is cheaper than what I originally paid for my 580. Very nice upgrade. It runs cooler and quieter than my 580 and I can now play games at 2k on ultra settings and still get above 60 FPS. I’m very happy with this purchase. I was looking for an upgrade I wanted to stay with AMD because of my FreeSync monitors. I can’t think of anything I don’t like. It draws a lot of power. The recommended wattage is 750 but I have a 550 power supply and I don’t have any issues. It’s cheaper than the rtx 2060 for slightly less performance. I’m running at stock settings no overclocks, power mods or bios flashes. But it’s nice to know that those things are available for additional performances increases.

    Amazing performance even without overclocking

After messing with configs and overclocking for half a week, I have rock solid 60fps at 1440p and it’s relatively quiet, but I do use noise cancelling headphones while gamingUltimately, I learned a lot about overclocking because of this card, and after flashing Vega 64 bios, I get a pretty comfortable 1630mhz gpu and 1000mhz memory. I’m waiting on an aftermarket cooler, and might try pushing 1712+ if it’s stable and quiet, but I’m super happy with the value of this beautiful card. Always grew up with nvidia but now that I have an air conditioned house, this AMD card is a beastGreat value, silent 1440p mode with high settings at 60hz

    Great card for the money!

Capable of running high refresh no problemTried an RX580 first and then decided the card needed bumped up to balance with the rest of the build. The Vega makes the case a bit hotter, but it doesn’t falter a bit when subjected to 1080p high-framerate on ultra settings. Insanely good value at the time of purchase ($299).Note that the card is big! It actually blocks access to some SATA ports on the MOBO (M450 Tomahawk). (Would need to remove card and use an angled connector to make use of those ports in the future).Fans are a little noisy, but don’t even kick on during light use.

    Very good card : )

I took a chance from buying from the scatch’n’dent section. It came in a brown box with no accessories; which is no biggie for me. Well wrapped in a anti-static bag and bubble wrap. The card appears to be in very good condition to almost brand new. Definitely have a good power supply like a seasonic 750 focus gold or equivalent that is rock solid and reliable, this baby has 2 8-pin power ports. Be sure to use the most recent drivers such as the 2020 amd adrenaline, which is way more streamlined and doesn’t hog up the resources in the pc.

    It’s Pretty good!

This is my first Gpu, and so far, I am really enjoying it. It’s an upgrade from my console life, and I enjoy the look and smoothness as I play my games. It’s super quiet, and from other reviews on this specific model, people had overheating problems and the like, but this particular brand and model seems to be just fine, it’s the Cpu that seems to be doing worse for wear however. So far it runs smoothly, and is super quiet.

    Good card

This card is alright for the price of $479.99 at the time of posting this, I unfortunately purchased this card for $679(was even on sale) because I thought its price was going to rise even more. The card is really quiet & the fans rarely turn on for me & I’d love to talk more about it’s performance but my experience with this card is a bit scewed negative due to not having windows 8.1 drivers available & my 2700X not being supported by win8.1. Even though I have a lack of driver support the card runs pretty well It scored a Graphics score of 4 804 in 3DMark Firestrike Ultra

    Amazing Value for Price

This is now my 5th Sapphire card. They are the only reason I buy AMD products. The quality of the product, performance, and features are amazing and even better at this price. This was an upgrade from my previous R9 380 Sapphire card which was already fast, and it blew it out of the water (almost 60% faster and I didn’t OC). At 11 inches, it just fit into my ATX case with some room to spare. The fans are not loud and don’t really activate unless you are playing some serious games which keeps it quiet for day to day activities.

    Solid card, great value, quiet

I got this as a replacement for a faulty Gigabye OC vega 56, and I must say, this cad is excellent, the card is very quiet, it overclocks great, my only beef is the power plugs in the middle of the card. there is a little bit of coil whine here and there but I game with headphones on so it isnt really noticeable, however make sure you have a big case with plenty of airflow and exhaust. This card dumps a lot of hot air into your case and itll become a sauna in there before long.

    AMD VEGA 56

Upgrading an AMD build with 390x crossfire, FX 8320 black. Temps have dropped considerably, on full load this thing can toast bread. Plays PUBG on Ultra at 80FPS average, was getting 115 fps on closer servers. My history with AMD so far has been pleasant other than the buggy updates which has become less of an issue as of late.

    So good I bought two

I bought the first one to mine with, but then I got a second one, and put them both into my gaming rig. In Crossfire Mode they kick @ss. I play ARPGs, Diablo II, III, Torchlight II, PoE and these cards tear all these titles up at 4K on the highest settings at 60Hz. Even a single one will handle 4k, if you kick back to medium settings. You can do full all day long on one @ 2k. The only issues I had were with the latest Blight version of PoE getting kind of jaggy under manic conditions. From what I have read, the devs have admitted it is a problem with their code, and so not likely the performance of the cards themselves. They can take a fairly healthy OC, even without BIOS modding. Can easily get 2000+H/s on Monero, and 40+Mh/s on ETH. I’ve noticed that other brand Vegas, 56s or 64s, will crash PoE easily with even a minor OC. I can run these at full mining OC and PoE still runs stable as heck. No crashes ever that I can remember.I have several other Vega 56s and RX580s laying around the house, from various manufacturers, and my experience is that Sapphire makes the best AMD cards. I have no qualms recommending these to anyone. Wasn’t such a smart mining investment, but it sure pays for itself over and over as a gamer.

Works well in 10.14.5+ without much fuss

If you’re building a machine for macOS or adding an eGPU, this is a good choice. I was on the fence between this and a RX 580. The price difference initially was around $150 but then this one dropped in price so I jumped on it. I’m not a gamer, don’t process video or render 3D scenes but it’s good to have the newest tech you can afford for longevity purposes.Starting with 10.14.5, the Vega reference cards have much better support. Fans are correctly controlled so things are nice and quiet. At idle, fans are off and no coil whine. Is silent. The only time they’ve come on at this point was during LuxMark tests.UPDATE:After some fiddling, if you’re interested in overclocking, this might not be the GPU for you. I don’t generally overclock, but I had some spare time so I started fiddling with the power tables. It seems my GPU can’t break the 1GHz memory clock. 950MHz was the highest I could get it without a frozen screen and being logged out of my deskop. I’ve been told that if you can find a Vega 56 with Samsung memory modules you should be able to get it past the 1000MHz mark (with increased voltage; ~1.35). But, if the GPU uses Hynix (which I believe most Vega 56 cards shipped with), you’re going to run into the ceiling at around 950.That said, I agree with another review; this is still a great deal at the $300 mark.

One of the Best Value GPUs on the Market

After deciding on building a 10.14.5 Hackintosh, I knew I had to stick with an AMD card, but I wanted the ability to game without a sacrifice. I dual booted Win/Mac and got this card as soon as they dropped the price to $299. For that price, I can’t justify getting an RX 580 anymore.Right after the build, I played fortnite with my younger brother to test out the FPS performance on 1080p, as my monitor is only 1080. Set to 120fps, it’s no issue at all for this card. However, at 120 you do get some coil whine but with headphones during gameplay, you don’t hear it anyways. When I switched to speakers instead of a headset, I decided to bump it down to 60fps to lower the coil whine, which is inaudible at 60fps.For the value at $300, you can’t beat it. No argument. Sure you can buy used, but a new $300 card that can crank out 60-120 on pretty much any game at 1080p, that’s crazy. Not to mention I am using it with macOS to type this comment. In a future Hackintosh build, I will for sure buy this card again.Config: i9-9900k, Vega 56 8GB Pulse, Z390 Designare, G.Skills RGB 32GB 3000MHz, Corsair 115i Cooler, 250GB 970 Evo Plus & 1TB 860 Evo, 4xCorsair RGB Fans

Solid card with a minor flaw.

Performance wise the card is excellent. Sapphire cards are always quality and the updates AMD have made to the drivers since launch have put the Vega 56 on equal footing with the GTX 1070 Ti and around 6 to 9% slower on average than the GTX 1080. Not too shabby.Gaming at 1440P 144Hz on maxed settings nets 60+ PFS on just about everything I play, with a few exceptions on Nvidia focused titles. The cards performance is top notch in this price range. The one issue I have with this card is the noise. I like a quiet rig and this card is very much the opposite. When gaming on anything GPU intensive the fans ramp up and it’s really distracting. I usually just counter this by turning up my Logitech Z 623 speakers or putting on some nice headphones. Not a deal breaker, especially considering the price I paid ($299) but worth a one star drop. All things considered I still think Sapphire is the best choice for AMD cards and this is solid buy.

    Better than expected!

I bought this to replace my RX 580 which still works fine but I just wanted an upgrade without spending a ridiculous amount of money on something that shouldn’t be expensive. I must say I’m impressed with this card. Without any overclocking of the gpu or cpu this card runs my games smoothly and quietly. The only noise I hear is the low noise of the case fans. With my RX 580 I had to use the game boost on the mother board to get the card to run games smoothly. That made the fans run at higher rpms which was noisy. At stock settings on the 56 I get between 39 and 53 fps (Shadow of the Tomb Raider, The Division 2) using the Ryzen 2700 X cpu and a 1440p monitor. After overclocking the gpu the fps went up but it creates a lot of heat which makes my system shut off. Will have to water cool just like I had to do with the RX 580.

    I like it

At first I wasn’t very impressed with this, but after a little bit of tweaking, it’s what I was expecting. It’s actually scoring close to my RTX 2060 in 1080p benchmarks, but at 1440p the Radeon doesn’t come close. I’m not having a heat issue at all with this card, and the fans are pretty quiet to me. During benchmarks, my 2060 actually got a little hotter at peak (I was pleasantly surprised.Anyway, I bought this for a Hackintosh build, and gaming wasn’t a concern for me. It works great in the Hackbox and brought a noticeable improvement to video applications. I was running an XFX RX 570 before, which actually runs fantastic in a different setup. That card is not a slouch.

    Great Deal for $299

You can’t get a Better graphics card at this sale price of $299 it’s an excellent deal especially if you don’t care to ride on the overpriced ray tracing hype train. The card averages Battlefield V with 120fps on ultra 1080p, It’s also a great card for Vulkan titles if your playing with a high refresh rate monitor Doom and Wolfenstein 2 both play maxed out at 144fps. The cards fans are barely audible and core temps never go above 65c in the California desert with an ambient temp of 24c indoors. The card draws 180w in the stock balanced power mode and mine easily under volts to 1.070mv on the core, My sample like many others came with Samsung HBM2. At the moment you also get 2 games World war Z ($39) and the division 2 gold edition ($99) makes the deal that much better.

Stunningly powerful Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX Vega 56 with 8GB HBM2 Video Card at an Astonishing $300

This Sapphire card is very easy to install. The WattMan software comes with the Radeon driver download which allows you to tweak the card on many different levels. I was astounded that I could undervolt and overclock the card at the same time. The card ,even at its default settings allows me to run all of my games at Ultra. Games such as; AC Odyssey, Watch_Dogs 2, The Witcher 3 and many more. Another thing that was surprising, was how quiet the fans are on the card at full throttle in comparison to my Sapphire Vapor-X 290. I definitely recommend purchasing this card. I will say that I have a 850 watt PSU, the minimum required is 750 so keep that in mind as well as all of the other required specs. I can’t wait to play Cyberpunk 2077!

Best card you can get for the price

The best video card you can get for the price, to give you an idea, I’m running Apex 4k 60hz HDR all Ultra setting and all this with the stuck setting, also Shadow of War 4K 60hz HDR all Ultra settings 55 fps using stuck settings, taking in consideration that you can get 15% more power from this thing… Make sure you have the proper ventilation for this beast, reaching 85C you will have issues but under that, is the best card you can get for the price, I had to put 2 80mm fans there for the moment to avoid any issue but I’m planning to put a water solution for this card that is now available since my case is a phanteks evolve itx and the cars is super tight in there 🙂

This is a solid card at $300

I upgraded from a Asus Strix Rx 580 which I had purchased for $290 ~1 year before purchasing the Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 for $300. I’ve had this card for about a month or so now and so far I’m very satisfied with it. It gave me a 30-40fps boost in pretty most of my games, and has allowed me to play more demanding games with the visual turned up without lagging. Undervolting/overclocking is easy to do and gets more performance from the card while keeping the power consumption down.Physically speaking, the card itself is actually a Vega 56 nano (note the position of the power connection) with a full length gpu heatsink attatched to it. However, because it’s a nano the positioning of the power connection can be slightly awkward. I’m really not sure why they wouldn’t include a picture of the back of the card on this page. The portion of the heatsink that extends past the card is not blocked so it functions similarly to a tower heatsink for the cpu. With this, temps are not a problem even when overclocking. There is a back light for the PULSE logo that doesn’t… pulse. I do wish that it did, as that would really help to complete the card. It is also the only light on the card. The fans are nice and quiet. However, it should be noted that they turn into a Boeing 737 in your bedroom when they start spinning up to higher rpm (in my experience, ~2100+rpm, +/-100rpm). It has 1 HDMI port with 3 DisplayPorts, as well as a 8+8 pin power connection. The card takes up the usual 2 slots and you can still easily use any pcie slots below it.Recently I have had a couple of issues that did not occur to me when I had the Rx 580. Occasionally, I’ll get screen flickering with slightly miscolored artifacting the shape of horizontal bars across the length of my monitors that is hard to notice. Once I had one monitor turn completely white, while the other turned black. I had to restart my pc to fix this. In general though, it doesn’t happen enough to be of major annoyance and remains as a passing thought placed on the back burner.

    @ $300 there’s no better deal!

For $300 dollars this is an absolute steal. I personally have worked with the GTX series and Rx cards from both NVIDIA and AMD, and the driver setups for AMD is so much nicer. The saphire Vega 56 is fast, quiet and has no coil whine!! And it’s a cute little card! I paired it with a 750 watt PSU which works amazingly and I’ve never seen the temps go over 66c here on the Oregon coast.Pros:Fast,Relatively efficient (depending on which bios switch)HAS a bios switch!Quiet fan curve,Has a backplate,Faster than an rtx 2060,Uses AMD relive software which is miles nicer than nvidiasCan pair to your phone! Is well future proofed with 8gb of hbm2 for higher resolutions.Cons:Power connection is located in the middle of the card,Logo is stuck red,Fans at Max are way too loud, though it’ll automatically ramp up that much.Tldr: for $300 there isn’t a better deal and with engines such dx12 and vulkan gaining traction the Vega 56 will age very well. Saphire makes awesome cards with great cooling and I look forward to using more of their cards.

Good Graphics Card for Years to Come

Great card for the price. The Vega 56 wasn’t a remarkable card upon release but since then the price has dropped and the drivers have been abundantly more supported, meaning the card has aged remarkably well.Positives:+ Card is blazing fast (Star Wars Battlefront 2, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Monster Hunter World with Ultra HD Textures, Grand Theft Auto V, Resident Evil 2, The Division 2 all tested above 60 fps at 1080p Ultra with 200% internal resolution where possible)+ Overclocked out of the box+ Can be flashed with Vega 64 bios and undervolted to push performance even further ( I don’t think I’ll need to do this for a few more years)+ Runs exceptionally cool for an AMD card. As I type this I am getting 45c Idle and 65c-70c in game, though mileage may vary slightly per card.+ The fans are quiet, with headphones on I cannot hear them.Negatives:- The coil whine is rather loud when the card is under load- The PCI-e slots are right above the Pulse logo, making cable management annoyingTo make a short review shorter, this card is great if you wish to do above 60 fps at 1080p/144 Hz, 1440p at 60 fps, or 4K at 30 fps.

What a monster, and for this sale price of $300!!

Ok, let me begin by saying holy crap: this thing is a BEAST. Not only did it appear larger than I had anticipated, but it performs OUTSTANDINGLY WELL for $300! Now, if it was back at its MSRP price of ~$550, I would say otherwise.Folks, if you are reading this, and are considering getting any AMD GPU for a good value and price, THIS IS IT.Came super quick in 3 days time, packaging was as simple as 2+2, and the installation was stress-free. I recommend you uninstall whatever version of Radeon Drivers and software you have on your PC before installing this of course.Games are performing VERY well @ 1080p, max settings (tested Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Subnautica: Below Zero, Escape from Tarkov, Rust, Dark Souls III, Division 2, and Witcher 3 all running EXTREMELY WELL at 1080p on Max-Very High settings)Highly recommended. Only Con I can name off is the fact the fan noise can be a BIT loud when you set it to Turbo, but not to the point of noticing it over my CPU fan. With enough tweaking though, and looming/researching enough guides, you can make it so the fan is only just audible and still getting the best (safe) performance available.Awesome deal, GET IT NOW WHILE IT LASTS!

    Perfect for hackintosh!

I bought this card for my hackintosh, and it works and looks great! It does kick out a lot of that so you would want an airflow case. I limit the card by running with vertical sync on to cap it to the 60fps which makes it run cooler and quiet, but it doesn’t get very loud even running hard as long as I ate the case fans spinning around 900rpm. Those are 180x180x38mm fans so there is a lot of air at 900.I picked it up when it was on sale for 300 it seemed fair, at 400 does seem overpriced. The card does feel of above average quality and is not just something thrown together. it also has some bling while keeping it classy. At 1440p it runs everything so far on max settings just fine. It was a significant upgrade over my RX580 and I think the price to performance was a little low but the build quality and design make it worth it. I think it ships with the dual bios in performance overclock mode, and I have not tried out the lower and quieter option.btw, in a hackintosh it has required nothing to get to work, the GPU temp shows 127f at all times but works great otherwise. There was some noise about the macOS controlling the fan but I haven’t had a problem, the fan spins up fine under load like it should. The only negative is in the picture you can see the lowest part of the heatsink hangs below the CPU cooler and that is the hottest part of the heatsink by a large margin and it is pushed out in front of the CPU cooler!! not ideal but in practice has caused no issues. Ultimately the current ATX standard is simply not appropriate for modern hardware cooling.

    Great card for great performance

I bought this card as an upgrade from a GTX 1050Ti and wow what an upgrade it was. It is a really big card compared to the 1050 so make sure your case can support it. I paid $330 for this card and I can say that I am happy with my purchase and the performance it is giving me.PROS:-great performance, average 175FPS in Overwatch on high setting. 80FPS in tomb raider on ultra, 88FPS in the Division 2 on high setting-Adrenaline software is easy to navigate and create custom settings for each gameCons:-Noise level. The card can get fairly loud when the fans get above 60%-OC the card via Adrenaline would cause the card to turn off so I can’t OC. Not an issue for me because I don’t OC but for someone who may want to and can’t, this could be an issue-Adrenaline software does have issues with color management depending on the version you are on. On version 19.4 I had no issues. On 19.5 I had color issues where boot up would have the entire screen either magenta or yellow and I’d have to restart it to correct the issue.Neutral pouts:-price. For $330, I’m happy with my purchase but I have seen others think that this specific card is not worth the price to performance. So make sure you look up benchmarks for the games you play-Heat: my cards fan curve is set pretty high because I don’t care about noise level and it sits at an average of 54* during gameplay. If you set it to fanless/low RPM then it’ll get pretty hot-size: again, I upgraded from a 1050 ti so it’s much bigger than that. Just make sure your case can support the size which is 282mm

    Great when tuned

I upgraded from a RX 580 to this Sapphire Vega 56 on a 1920×1200 monitor. Once tuned, I was able to run ultra graphics on Division 2 and it looks beautiful. Was able to under-volt stage 7 to 1050 with a 1605 clock speed. wattage was reduced to max of 152w and in games is averaging 92w-120w.Still, a lot of heat is put into your PC case so make sure you have good exhaust fans. The half length PC card with the cooler fins open at the end I think make a huge difference in efficiently cooling as the GPU stays around 58C during gaming. The Hot Spot has never exceeded 75C during stress testing. I went back to my old friend Crysis 3 and this was the first time I ever got to max out the graphics in it, was fun to replay the campaign knowing I finally had a card that answered the old question “Can it play Crysis”.This is a tuners card. If you like your car sitting only 3 inches off the payment, then this card is for you.Update.. tuned stage 7 to 1070mv and clocking a steady 1640mhz. while driving dual 2180×1440 monitors. Both division 2 and tomb raider set on ultra. This card is fun to tune and the cooler is by far the best of any I’ve had. The pass through on the second fan allows unrestricted air passage. No PC board in the way either this nano design.

    Vega take my money 😁

First of all this card is incredible temperature should never go above 57c (I do have 5 fans and Vents on the side panel) just make sure you have at least 600-watt gold or 700 white power supply, on average 20+ plus frame over the RX 580 and no coil whine! Cons at full loads sounds just like a keyboard vacuum cleaner 😂 but for the temperature I’ll keep it..(in my fifteen years of PC gaming I never owned a card with such low temperature) for $300 just get it

    awesomeness!

I just got my card, put it in and I am running a 43inch 4K monitor and its running Ark on High with 30 ish frames per second. Anyone that knows Ark knows that this game is super taxing on your graphics so I am super jazzed. I still have some tweeking to do and I am sure I can get the frames up, with out sacrificing the quality of the graphics. Will update at a later date when I have had more time to play:-)8/10/2019 *update* still awesome, no complaints!

    Big and Beautiful

This is an awesome card for the price – if you got a case that this can fit comfortably in. Looks cool – fanned cards are way better than the original Vega. Feels very high-quality and durable. Doesn’t get that hot. It’s bang for your buck, if you’re into that type of thing. I run Skyrim on Ultra with over 150 mods (including graphic and gameplay overhauls) and get a stable 50+ FPS with an i5 and 16gigs of ram.

    Great Card!

I bought this display card at $299, which is unbelievable! With Razer Core X external PCIe box, the whole set up is “plug and play” for my 2018 MacMini! The eGPU costs only $600 comparing to the $1200 BM Pro! Note that the Razer Core X uses the same Type-C controller as in the Blackmagic Pro.The only “pro” is that this card comes with 1 x HDMI and 3 x DP, instead of 2 x HDMI and 2 x DP as indicated in the specification!

    Nice heater

It does what it’s supposed to do. But boy does this thing produce heat like no other. It heats my room up by at least 5-10 degrees hotter than any other room in the house.Other than the space heater feature, it’s still worth the buy and more powerful than the NVidia 1060 I replaced it with.

noisy fan whine out of the box

One of the two gpu fans has an annoying whine to it, even at very low speeds. Preventing this one fan from spinning makes this noise go away completely. Very annoying.out side of that, fantastic. Going to buy a different fan to replace the defective. Annoying I have to do this.

    Great for 1080p!

I have a 144hz 1080p monitor and I’m able to game with >60fps constant while streaming videos on a second monitor with this GPU. The only time it dipped under 60 was with FO4 but I hear it’s terribly optimized. Make sure you have a good PSU, the power draw was upwards of 180W. Temp never got above 56 degrees though. I hear you can flash a Vega64 BIOS onto it for better performance but I have no idea how to do that and really have no need to yet.

    Best choice for amd cards

Love this card and i mean LOVE this card. Not only is it affordable for a very good card. Especially since I upgraded from an XFX RX 590 to this card and I dont regret it. Its UTTERLY silent, its faster than my 590 and does more performance with less voltage. Would definitely recommend this card to others

Why do you need dual boot bios?

Have purchased two sapphire cards, RX580 and this Veag56, and both cards had problems. I also had a very difficult time installing the cards into my machine. The first card ran ok in “quiet” mode but would not boot when switched to “performance” mode. I returned that and purchased this which ran fine for a couple days. Then in the middle of a game it locked up. After that neither the drivers nor Windows could find the card. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers multiple times and finally wiped my drives and did a clean install of Windows and drivers. Nothing worked.Sapphire tech support (email and wait? You kidding me?!) response was send it back. GEE, THANKS! I sent it back, waited patiently for my refund and then bought a MSI Vega 56. Dropped in like a factory part and has performed flawlessly. My take? Sapphire card look really good and have some neat features but that means nothing if they don’t work!!

$300 or less is what makes this so good of a card.

This is a very good card for the price. With willing to flash 64 bios and overclock as well as undervolt. This card hits core 1692 with memory at 1120. The noise of the fans are fine if you use headphones and keep card from going higher than 3300 or it gets loud.

    Performance per dollar

Bought this card after I sold my 2080 FE because of lack of performance for the money. Bought the Vega for a third of the money and I’m getting 80% of the performance I was from the 2080. No it’s not as fast but for the price difference I am much happier

    Best card for 300$!

This thing is the best deal out right now and 5 months no interest ? Can’t beat it, runs pubg with a i5 9600k not oc 160 to 200 fps competitive settings 1080P. Make sure to undervolt it if you’re worried about the power, mine when undervolt stays between 150w to 175w.

    It’s alright.

Card had quite a bit of coil whine. And was so big it covered 3 pcie slots on my motherboard. Which i needed one for wifi sadly. The backplate looks a bit strange and the power cable connectors are placed in a spot that would cover the sapphire logo. Was expecting better performence for the price.

Great card, even in modern titles. It’s five years old now, and still gets 80fps in most titles.

I’ve used this card everyday for 3 years and it is amazing. Its had an aggressive OC since day one with zero issues.

    Absolute beast of a card

This card is top-notch. Despite having Hynix memory, it has a dumb high overclock-ability, enough to actually close the gap between Hynix and Samsung memory. Could potentially rival an RTX 2060-S/RTX 2070 if pushed to it’s absolute limits. Not too sure about RX 5700s tho

Great performance, power/noise efficiency and value for my EGPU

I paired my Sapphire Pulse VEGA 56 with a Razer Core X egpu to power my Mac mini 2018’s graphics and am not disappointed. This runs cool and quiet and makes editing 4k video with effects, a breeze. It also shortened my export times greatly, I’m a happy video editor!

Best bang for your buck GPU

I was debating whether I should purchase this or a gtx 1660, as they were both in the same price range at the time of purchase. After watching benchmarks, I decided this would be the better option, and I’m very happy I did. Paired with a Ryzen 7 2700x, I can play any modern game in 1080p on Ultra and still be above 80 FPS (and in many cases above 100 FPS). Sapphire makes quality products.

    Best Video Card I’ve Owned

As the title says, this is the best card I’ve ever owned. Not only because it has the highest hardware specs, but because most of the other ones I’ve had to put in a power converter or (in the instance of one case) put spacers on them. My only complaint is that when I’m playing a graphically intensive game it does get rather loud, but still not as loud as a stock fan.

    You Were So Young..

Purchased less than a year ago (July 2019), this card has already failed. I mean, this could be a once in a lifetime thing, and I got really unlucky, but it’s something that has never happened with any of the other cards I’ve used, and not a very good first impression for AMD’s side of graphics. I’ve recently contacted Sapphire to see what may have caused this, and if they do anything to make it all better, so we will see how that goes. I treat my computer like my baby; regular cleaning, off when not in use, etc.. It showed signs of dying about two weeks ago, but I replugged in the monitors and it started working again, so I was convinced momentarily that it was all okay, but I was wrong. I luckily had an older GPU around the house, and it works just fine. (ASUS Strix BTW)For the time I had the card, it was quiet, and it performed VERY well, but since it died so early, I believe that warrants a 1 star overall, and it’s not very good value for my money to need to buy one every year for $300.00.

I made a mistake trusting the Sapphire name

I have owned various Sapphire cards going back maybe 10 or more years and they were always top quality. The Pulse RX Vega 56 was at a great price so I picked it up thinking I would have the same experience as I did in the past. The first two weeks were good then something happened. The fans rattle and spin up to 80-90% and are so loud they put my vacuum cleaner to shame. The ability to control fans through Trixx or Wattman no longer works and the card decides to spin up whenever it wants, even when it is only reporting 28 degrees. Sapphire has zero documentation on their site and I have put tickets in awaiting response. If they do respond and fix the issue I will update. I highly recommend that you do not purchase this card.

    Top notch

Excellent graphics card. Huge upgrade from my RX580. For the price of $319, its a killer deal. Learning to tune it for best performance/low temp takes a little time and youtube video watching. After undervolting it, its fully stable at 16000Mhz GPU and 920Mhz Memory. Shreds 1080p & 1440p, can also do 4k but low FPS.I highly recommend this GPU for build quality, performance and price.

    great upgrade

As of right now this is one of the best bangs for your buck if you are looking to upgrade your gpu. It took a 5 year old lenovo desktop that was getting a userbenchmark of about 7fps to over 300fps. Be sure to check out undervolting and overclocking as you can get better frame rates while reducing power consumption, heat, and noise levels.

Plug and play Mac Pro 5,1

Tips for Mac Pro installation…. Requires two 8 pin power connectors… luckily had those on hand. These are in the middle of the card, so be careful not to snag on the fans. Plug and play, had a 980ti in this machine but couldn’t wait on a Mojave compatible driver any longer. Second Sapphire card in a year, no complaints and no stress. They just work.

    Titanicly amazing for the price

This thing is a monster but to get the most out of it you do need gaming level RAM and CPU, in my opinion it’s upper-mid level gaming GPU not top notch but for you price you get WAY MORE than you would expect it’s a monster GPU and I WILL be buying another on my next build for absolutely sure
