If you can complete it, it’s pretty cool
My kids 4 and 8 like it. Fun for a family activity.Assembly was okay until that last top side piece which I really struggle to position. 5 stars if assembly didn’t take so long and that final side piece wasn’t so difficult.

Cool arcade game
It took about 3-hours to assemble (alone). Just take your time. Good quality and the kids are having fun. Cool Christmas present. My wife likes the old 80’s arcade games. A bit nostalgic. Recommend two people to assemble when enclosing the cabinet. Don’t really need two people for much of the assembly. Games are as I remembered. Would recommends and may add additional cabinets/games if this gets used a lot. I was vacillating between the cabinet or the table. Cabinet is fine. Personal preference.

Joystick isn’t great
So, my 5 year old likes this. He actually enjoys being eaten by the ghosts.I, however, do not. For whatever reason the joystick is laggy when playing Pac-Man. So, when you should go down or up you don’t and get eaten.Galaga plays better so I’ve been playing that one.My husband put it together and he said it was difficult but got through it in under two hours. Only had to help him with one part of it.It’s ok. I got it on sale so I’m not too worried about it. Just wish I could play Pac-Man without getting irrationally angry.

Excellent product, but it’s too loud
I got this as a gift and I really like it. I honestly would have given it 5 stars, but there is one thing people should know: the speakers are extremely loud. The volume is adjustable, but even on the lowest volume setting the sound is still unbearably loud. (If you set the volume to 0 then it’s muted. If you set the volume to anything above 0 then it’s way too loud.) Maybe it’s because I live in a quiet apartment, but I wish they gave us more control over the volume.My solution: When assembling the cabinet, you will notice that the speakers plug into the game through what appears to be a standard 3.5mm stereo audio-out jack. So what I’ve done is unplug the cabinet’s speakers, and, in their place, I plugged in a pair of cheap throwaway headphones from my local dollar store, which I then mounted on top of the arcade cabinet. Even though I used headphones, the sound is so loud that it can be heard even from a few feet away (I removed the padding from the headphones so it would be less muffled. There is a noticeable drop in audio quality this way, but the volume is perfect)My only other complaint is that the ball on the joystick sometimes comes loose, and then you need to twist it back on. This is slightly annoying but not too big a deal.Here is the remainder of my review:As I said, it’s an excellent product. It’s very nice and a lot of fun. I’d have given it 5 stars, had it not been for the volume.I think it took me about 4 hours to assemble. And it seems fairly sturdy (I have not been too rough with it though).The machine is easy to operate, but I did need to check the manual to figure out how to get it to save your high score: you need to exit out of the game by holding down the player 1 start button for 5 seconds (if turn it off without exitting out of the game, it won’t save your score).The online score board is a nice feature. It’s difficult to navigate though (if you ever want to scroll up or down the list).

No fast Pac-Man !
A lot of folks don’t know about fast Pac-Man however once u play fast slow seem worthless . There was a one up legacy I believe had it . From my view slow Pac-Man is not fun it’s like slow motion. What’s wrong with the one up company with this . There’s also fast Mrs Pac-Man .

What I wanted.
This is the one I wanted from the start. Now I got a plethora of different variations of Pac-Man Arcade1up cabinets, and mostly all the same games. Oh well, if I didn’t have all these other cabinets, this would be a buy from me.

Nice cabinet, good controls, perfect game emulation
Have considered getting some version of this forever — from the MAME emulator all the way back to an original-used legacy quarter machine. Im on day 6 and Im happy with the purchase.Assembly took a bit (I think I logged just over 90 minutes) but wasn’t difficult. The instructions are great — pay close attention to the images to avoid placing a piece backwards! I think my history of IKEA construction probably helped! The whole thing goes together with a simple Phillips head screw driver.The cabinet is just a bit smaller than what my 40y old memories recall but it’s a nice size and feels like a real arcade machine from my youth. Modern LCD and electronics mean that the whole ‘gaming’ bit is basically a large iPad but the cabinet is heavy enough that it doesn’t matter. Buttons and joy stick seem solid and the gameplay is about perfect.Im sure there were instructions but I didnt spend anytime with them and had to lookup how to reset back to the main gaming menu — press player one button for a few seconds. There is some online thing available to share scores or maybe play head to head … who knows. I did allow a firmware upgrade to download.

Excellent Birthday Gift

10 game pac-man
Bought this for our cabin. I like the size! Does not take much space. Set up was very easy. Only slight setback is the joystick control. Reaction time from your movement to actual screen time is a bit slow. Overall, I still like it and have already gotten enjoyment from it.
