Do you expect anything less from Corsair?
I’ve been using a corsair keyboard of some denomination for gaming for a good few years now, and this latest offering does not let down whatsoever. Let me start with the one and only complaint I have about this- and bear in mind it’s not enough to strip a star. I wish that it had the TKL layout of the regular K70. This one strips the top bar of the regular k70 that had things like volume and media control for compactness and instead slices away the Printscreen, scroll lock and pause break buttons to slot them in there. This loses some functionality like the full media controls (you only get the volume dial) and obviously you lose 3 buttons that you’ll have to reprogram if you need. I could understand wanting to make it more compact, and it definitely is, but if they were going to do so I would have preferred they moved the insert/home/end group of buttons down and kept the 3 buttons. There is enough room above the arrow keys for it, after all. That being said, everything else about this keyboard is amazing. This is my first magnetic/hall effect board, and being able to completely customize your actuation point is absolutely amazing. To finally have a corsair keyboard with the functionality is everything I’ve been waiting for since things like rapid trigger came to my attention, and they nailed it already. Everything in ICue is easy to set up, and while really low actuation points can be difficult to do things like type with (when so much as touching a key registers a keypress), it’s great for gaming, and so the gaming mode (which I usually ignore on keyboards) finally has an actual, undeniable use case for me.The lighting is as high end as on other keyboards I owned, which is great since I was a bit worried about it by the picture provided, and the keycaps are high quality, though they lack the extra wasd keys I’m used to from corsair, which was a little disappointing.. even if I rarely used those keys anyway.Overall, if you’re a hardcore gamer you won’t be disappointed by this keyboard. I wish I had been given the chance to receive the full sized one to fully replace my K100, but I am far from let down by this more compact option giving me more mousepad room for when I really want to lock in on a competitive gaming session. And really, how often do you use the numpad anyway? Overall this is a fantastic keyboard, and I know what I’ll be recommending in the future to anyone looking for the best gaming keyboard one can buy.

Corsair K70 PRO
I have used many gaming keyboards throughout the years, and by far, Corsair’s K70 Pro has quickly become one of my favourites. When the keyboard arrived it was in a Corsair box, which showcases the keyboard, and highlights all of its features. Inside the box, the keyboard and wrist support were separately wrapped in packaging paper. The cable was nicely coiled and held together using a velcro strap. Everything included in the box is extremely high-quality. The keys are tactile, the keyboard frame is durable, and the cable is long enough to accommodate any setup configuration. The first thing that stood out to me was the keyboard’s rapid trigger mode. The rapid trigger mode allows your keys to have ultra-fast polling rates. This allows you to shift your key’s actuation and reset points, which enables sudden movements and instant direction changes. This feature gives you an extreme advantage in competitive games, allowing you to make sudden and fast movements. I also like the keyboard game mode. The game mode is another feature that increases your advantage in games. It reduces input lag tremendously. Finally, I like the feel and comfort of this keyboard. The keys are not too tactile, and the RGB is the perfect brightness (can be adjusted). I also love the feel of the wrist rest; it is very comfortable. One thing I do wish however is that the input cable was braided.Overall, at the product’s current price point of $249.99 CAD, I would highly recommend this keyboard. It is very high quality, has some amazing features that are not on most keyboards, and is very comfortable to use. If you are in the market for a new gaming keyboard, definitely give this one a try.

Corsair quality, but questionable value
This keyboard comes packed with many bells and whistles, but you may not have a use for all of them. For instance, actual points can be set, but you may not see much of a difference in real life. Some shortcomings: ABS keycaps are still being used in this high-end version, instead of PBT. Also, a wrist rest is included, but magnetic strength is weak and it barely clings to the keyboard. It is soft and cushiony, at least.Still, Corsair quality is on display with grandiose RGB lighting, an excellent build quality and a sturdy typing feeling.

a premium experience
Perhaps it goes without saying, but this is a high quality keyboard with features that will help you play video games. The build quality of the keyboard is premium. High quality plastics on the body with an aluminum face. Nice LEDs that look smooth and evenly lit. Note that the LEDs are north side. Buttons, knob, and keycaps that look nice and are clear of little defects you might find on lesser products. It’s got a good weight to it—I wonder how much of it is just extra ballast to make it feel heavy and not move around so easily. The magnetic switches are superb and feel great with very smooth travel. They are a bit firm; 55g linear sounds about right.I appreciate that they can fit a standard layout 6 rows TKL in this tight of a package. The shape of the keyboard is nice, and the wrist rest is surprisingly decent as well. The magnetic attachment of it is really cool and holds it in place very wellOf course, it’s the special gaming features that really make this keyboard special. 8000Hz polling, pressure sensitive switches, all the adjustments and customization possible through the software, etc. I’m not going to rehash all the points, just that those features actually do work and it’s great!iCUE seems better now than what I remember using a few years back as well. On-board profiles are wonderful too on this board, with support for saving a good range of customization options without iCUE running or even installed. There are a handful of things I’m not loving about the keyboard. Pretty trivial, nothing product-breaking but I’ll vent here a little bit:1. Don’t love the location of the caps and scroll lock indicators. They’re in the upper left corner next to the Esc key which can make them hard to see depending on your positioning and arrangement.2. Some wireless connectivity would have been nice. I realize the primary user / use-case for this is gaming and we like hardwired connections, but I personally am not gaming every moment I sit at the computer.3. The installed ABS keycaps are nice but I think PBT would be better. I see Corsair has a PBT version for $10 more. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t think two versions of the same keycaps need to be offered. In conclusion, this is cool. 😎

Excellent keyboard
The Corsair K70 PRO is a great keyboard. I’ve been using it for over a month and am very pleased with the build quality and typing feel. I am coming from a keyboard that uses brown switches, so I was initially concerned about switching from a tactile typing experience to a linear one, but it didn’t take long for me to get used to the new switches. The switches are great when gaming as there is not as much resistance as when using more tactile switches, meaning I can react faster. This keyboard also allows you to individually set the actuation point of each key which is very cool. They are also much quieter than my old keyboard. The included palm rest is very comfortable, and the magnets are strong enough to keep it attached when using the keyboard normally. You can use the ICUE software to change the RGB lighting and other settings, and the keyboard has built-in memory to store a few profiles so you don’t have to run the software all the time. It also means you can share the keyboard across multiple devices and retain the settings. The only complaint I have is that it does not include any USB passthrough ports on the back. If they could add a few in future versions that would be great.

This thing is bonkers (in a good way)
I’ll lead off with the “negatives”: you really want the iCUE software for this, and it’s not quite able to reach my top ranking for typing experience… but this isn’t really marketed for typing. Though it IS good for typing, I’d rate it top 3 for me. This is really a gaming keyboard, with the features to line up with that. The amount of customization you can do for key remapping, macros, actuation depths. It’s all bonkers. I’ve barely scartched the surface of what’s possible personally. One major positive for me (consistent with most Corsair accessories I’ve used) is that you can store your preferred settings in the hardware, allowing you to bring your preferred config with you without needing to be able to install the software. The wheel feels great, registers consistently (never felt like it missed an action), and can handle up to 5 different settings with different click actions to match (fn+f12 to cycle through them, denoted by the color of the f12 backlight). The gaming mode can be customized for what all you want it to toggle. Back to the typing experience: if not for me having recently gotten a Cherry keyboard with their newest switches, this would easily be a top 2 typing experience with it being as much mood as anything for which I’d want more. As it is, this now sits tied for second instead. The switches are smooth movement and quiet with a functional balance between the heavy thock of something like my drop ctrl and the lighter thwack of more silence focused keyboards when bottoming out. With how much this thing can be customized, it can be almost anything you need or want. Easy recommendation.

Designed for FPSes, but be warned!
This keyboard was fun to test drive, however I maintain that it was almost exclusively designed for FPSes like Counter Strike. The functionality included in this keyboard makes it trivial to counter-strafe, which is something that Valve has actually published a patch and detection software for – so use at your own risk! As an aside, it’s not great for typing on, so unless you are specifically getting it for an FPS where you need to be able to fudge your keypresses at a hardware level, I’d recommend picking a different keeb. Also minus a star because iCUE is really really janky control software.

Fantastic keyboard. Vivid lighting and incredible feel. Software is tricky.
I have a few nice keyboards now from a few different gaming brands, but this is my first of anything from Corsair. I have to say that my experience with it so far has been fantastic. The best part is how comfortable it is to use. It took me a few days to get accustomed to the key feedback, but it is incredible once you get a rhythm going. It is very fluid and responsive and has a very nice sound to it. I like how well the keys spring back into place but have a nice feel when depressing, so that you do have quite a bit of tactility. The colors are extremely vivid and bright. Love the look and quality of the keyboard. I had metal keys before and thought the plastic keys would not be as nice, but I have been impressed so far. I also really like the magnetic rest attachment. The software is a little tricky and takes some time to get used to. Maybe it’s just my inexperience with any of this type of software, but you can make some very interesting stuff. I also have it connected to my govee, so it looks great synced up.

Another great quality keyboard from Corsair
I have several mechanical keyboards. Some are from Corsair as well as other brands. This Corsiar K70 Pro TKL lives up to the quality that I expect from Corsair. I am very happy with the MGX Hyperdrive switches with their hall effect sensors and double-rail structure. The hall effect is really cool because it won’t wear out over time. There is ZERO wobble when pressing down on these keys which is an issue I definitely avoid. The super fast 0.5 ms speed from when the key is pressed to the signal received by the PC is absolutely noticeable. I am mostly a casual gamer but I notice an improvement in my performance with how quick these keys react to presses. The palm rest is a nice addition to this keyboard and makes typing and gaming super comfortable. It provides the exact amount of height/cushion that I look for in a palm rest. The ONLY issue I can say, and is the same with all iCue keyboards, is how much I don’t like the iCue software that accompanies Corsair hardware. This isn’t anything specific to this keyboard so I don’t hold it against it, but just something to note when considering this keyboard. All in all I am super happy with the quality and feeling of this keyboard and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality TKL gaming keyboard.

Holy Cow. This thing is amazing.
Yes. The keys have variable actuation points.Yes. The keys can be set to dual action. This is a rather nice, comfortable, and stupid quiet mechanical keyboard. If dual action key press matters more than the clicky clack of a standard mechanical key then this is definitely they keyboard for you. I definitely prefer the Cherry MX Red keys, but these keys are not repulsive to me either. The only thing I am rather disjointed in is how completely quiet the keys actually are.The draw backs. All the keys except for the f-keys, and right side island keys are not the magnetic keys. For the cost of this thing I would have really loved to have seen all they keys be the same. Another is the iCue software. I have had iCue installed on my computers for years at this point. While I can manage to navigate it and get it to work how I want eventually it still takes a minute. The big advantage is that the soft ware does let you fully customize RGB and what each key does. Corsair makes a great product, but every time I get one of their products it feels like there is something missing. For this one it is missing the USB port on the back that so many of their other key boards have, and the other is that they keys are not all the same magnetic type across the whole board.

This is a great keyboard!
I have been using this for some light gaming and I really enjoy it! The feeling of the keys is really nice and it’s just the right size. I’ve always gone with a full-sized keyboard, but I think this has just sold me on the TKL keyboard size! The biggest downside about this is the Corsair app. I’ve never used it before having this keyboard, but I must say, it’s a pain to use. Maybe that’s just because I’m not used to it, but aside from that, this keyboard is great! I would definitely recommend it!

Another great release from Corsair.
Picked up this release of the X70 Pro TKL RGB keyboard. The switches feel great and I’m not noticing any issues around feel or usage in FPS games or MMOs.The RGB functionality is solid out of the box. Unfortunately for full utilization of them you’ll need Corsair’s software, but it is what it is. A lot of no-name keyboards from overseas offer more built-in RGB patterns you can experiment with.I like this inclusion of the switches being pre-lubed, you can feel that when typing. It also feels pretty solid, not much deck flex when pressing into the keyboard. If you’re looking for a TKL model, this might be on your shortlist to look at.

Corsair
Decent keyboard. I like the sound a lot more than I assumed I would. I’m not a big keyboard gamer, but I can definitely see the appeal. Much smaller than the k95 and it’s nice having a detachable usb cable. I cannot get used to the flat face keys without any curve to them. I tried getting used to them for a few days of gaming and kept setting my hands off to the side. So I’ll probably just get a new set of keys for wasd. The sound is so good though lol. Linus has a nice vid it’s the sounds in it as well.

Amazing quality!
From the box, the paper cover on the keyboard and wrist pad, it felt like it was professionally hand wrapped presentation when I opened it!The keyboard itself feels super solid and well built as I type this review with it. The wrist/palm rest is very plush and holds with a magnet well. Just 1 USB-C to connect to USB-A to the power source over some older models that use 2 USB-A’s to power. Great sound dampening foam as well so it won’t wake my few month old baby.Ten-keyless option is perfect for me for space saving and having a separate numpad only for when I need it.

Great lighting
The quality of keys on this board could be better but for the price, it’s expected. The board is typical and functions well. It’s relatively quiet and easy to use. The lights are fun and very vibrant which makes the keyboard worth it.

I’m a keyboard collector, and I love this thing
I have a lot of different keyboards, mostly mechanical, from big names like Das Keyboard, Logitech and Noppoo, as well as a lot of smaller brands. Of them all, this thing is my current favorite. For starters, the build is stout. It’s solid and doesn’t flex or feel cheap. Each key has its own LED, and the LEDs aren’t colored like a corner smoke shop. They’re muted, earthy tones that really compliment a desktop. The feel and sound of the keys are top notch. My typing is uninhibited on this board. Top marks.

Responsive and Sleek Gaming Keyboard
The K70 PRO TKL really delivers on responsiveness and speed. The pre-lubricated MGX switches feel smooth and make for a quieter, satisfying typing experience, while the rapid trigger mode is fantastic for gaming. It’s compact, yet sturdy, with impressive RGB lighting that adds a nice visual touch without being over the top. Perfect for gaming setups where space is tight but performance is essential.

Nice compact keyboard
This is a nice compact keyboard. The mechanical keys are comfortable to type on with good feedback. The RGB lighting effects are attractive, though really just a novelty for me. The wrist wrest is comfortable as well. Overall there is nothing to complain about with this keyboard.

As usual Corsair knocks yet another product out the park. Smooth keystrokes. Almost seemles lighting effect transitioning and the wireles or wired capability=ies are amaizing. I love the soft touch keys and the easily legible key caps. Solid construction a bit weighty. Another great Keyboard!

My new Keyboard
I’m replacing a Roccat Vulvan with this Corsair. I have used my Roccat for over two years now, and I really enjoyed it, But it’s starting to wear and it’s time for something new. The keys on this Corsair have a nice soft response, Not quite as clicky as my Vulcan. The RGB is not overdone, which I prefer. It has MGX linear switches, which are very responsive, and are simple To replace, So this keyboard should last a long time.
