High Quality, High Comfort, Full Satisfaction
I am a pretty big boy (over 6ft tall and north of 270#). Despite taking measurements before buying a product there is always a fairly high chance that it just won’t work/fit as intended for a person of my dimensions. I mention this for those of you out there who might be similarly affected. This company took this into account when they designed this product. It is wide and tall enough that it does fit over my legs/lap when sitting or reclined. It fits perfectly and once set up is completly comfortable to use. The memory foam arm rest pillows are made of sturdy foam (no off-gasing smell that I could detect) covered in a suede textured cloth that doesn’t retain or reflect too much heat. Nice and comfy for prolonged use.I would say too that it’s not overly large for a person of average or smaller stature either. They hit the sweet spot with their design.Getting down to functionality. It feels great to use. I am finally able to rest my arms at a height that keeps them parallel with the keyboard and mouse, virtually eliminating the wrist strain. The board is large and provides ample room for a full size pro gaming keyboard deck and mouse with a little extra space. The onboard USB ports with the detachable extension cable make it easy and convenient to use and to store when not in use. It also looks awesome.I could not be happier with this product. Worth every dollar and I wish I hadn’t waited several months thinking about it before I decided to try it.

I like it!
I purchased this a few weeks ago. I was trying to find a solution to the back pain I had while on the couch and in bedroom. It has done that very well. It isn’t a pure fix as this could have adjustable arm pillows. That would allow for a more versatile fix. Also I’m not sure about the current USB hub. I love the fact it is powered; even if it requires a 3rd party purchase to power (this really should be included in purchase and made for all plugs US/CANADA/EU). The cord is rather long however I have not been able to test it using all equipment I currently have: Razer Naga Mouse, Razer Nostromo, Razer Wireless Turret Keyboard, Sound Blaster Wireless Headset w/ USB dongle, Wired generic xbox one controller, Razer phone 2 charger, and J-Tech USB 3.0 hub extender (3 ports and 1 charge port). I have used it to charge the Razer wireless Turret Keyboard, Razer Wireless Turret Mouse, J-tech USB hub extender (charge port with phone charging)…. It worked well with both internal USB hub powered at extender cord and J-tech extender powered. Lots of cords for all that equipment but the length of the cords provides adequate cord management along with internal cord management of the system. This is for charging purposes at this time and I have not connected it to a PC or media device (Steam Link/Nvidia Shield). I will update after I use this on PC and media devices for other Razer equipment. So far it has served its purpose of allowing a more comfortable play session. Hopefully I wont run into any troubles using it via USB on PC and other media devices. I do have to agree with other previous posters about the adhesive, it is not the best however once again 3rd party purchases should solve this ( or I could sow the extra pocket to the Pillow myself). The mouse pad provided with the unit is large and of good quality. This thing is a beast to store however and I don’t think a solution to that can be created (its just big and that is how it is for this type of niche solution). I do believe the “gift ” accessories would make this unit more versatile though. The phone holder clip seems the most usable however the USB sound device and the tablet holder could be just as useful if that is what would serve your needs. The ashtray is past niche and IMHO not very usable (you should not game and smoke, LOL). All in all I’m very pleased with this product and would purchase again if another user in my home though this would help their productivity and comfort.Good productNeed to finish testingAdjustable pillows would be great along with better adhesive and more pockets :PPowered USB adapter should be standard and internationalGood cord management… SNAP ON BOTTOM COMPARTMENTS!!!!!Verdict: It’s worth it, you will see.

Couch PC Gaming Perfection
One year later update:The board is my go-to for PC use and gaming on my LG C2 when I don’t use an XBox controller. It’s still very comfortable and easy to setup. However, I found a few issues that remove a star.1. The USB cable inside the board easily disconnects when moving the board. The solution is to put the bulky connector for the extension cable inside the board.2. The bottom covers bend outward because there’s only one screw keeping it in place. It should be secured with more screws. I feel like I am constantly pushing the covers back in place.3. The extension cable, while long, is still too short to permanently hide around the border of the room. I tried pairing with another powered USB extension cable with unreliable results.Original Review:I work at a desk and keyboard all day for work. The last thing I want to do is be in the same chair and stare at the same monitor for my PC gaming. I game with both keyboard / mouse and controller as I want. I tried just using a keyboard and mouse simply to load a game, but the experience was terrible. After searching online, I found very few solutions that made sense. I chose the Couchmaster CYCON² Black Edition for it’s comfort, ease of use, and ability to choose any keyboard/mouse I want. While the price was a bit steep for what it is, I also know there’s more to a couch-based solution than a piece of wood and a mouse-pad. The Couchmaster CYCON² has some well-thought-out design choices to elevate the experience. From the built-in cable management and integrated wrist rests, to the extra USB ports and design aesthetic; it all feels premium. The arm-rest cushions are the perfect height. For center seating, they are the perfect width. For offset seating, I would prefer a narrower cushion. However, in an awesome coincidence, the arm cushions are the exact same height as my theater arm-rest. I can rest one side on the arm-rest and the other on a cushion.I love the thoughtful touches. Cables are managed in the hidden compartment, keeping them clutter-free and well organized. There are two extra USB-A ports inside, and two on top. One is designed specifically for charging devices. Having these ports it’s easy to plug in a USB key, or a wired controller. The pockets on the side provide great storage for remotes, controllers, or tablets.Overall, while pricey, I feel it’s worth it for the quality-of-life benefits. I’m a life-long PC gamer and I can say this is the most comfortable, stable, and modular setup I’ve had the pleasure to experience.

Upgraded from Original, This is the New love of my life
Perfect for working or gaming from home. Upgraded entry makes plugging in cords a breeze. Also, redesigned unidirectional, high powered plug is perfect! I love the additional top-facing USB plug. Quality, product, well thought out. This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased. I love this product. I use it in my livingroom with my Alienware computer hooked to my TV. This time I purchased the add on clips and am thrilled with the practicality and ease of use. Whether I’m playing WoW and using the tablet to figure out how to solve the quest or I’m working and on a zoom meeting and need additional information or to text someone not there this allows me to play or work in compete comfort. (Important when you’re 66 years young). As you can see in the pictures the Clips that hold my phone and tablet are great. I purchased a second phone holder to use for my zoom camera… perfect angle works great. Worth every penny! I also got the full length mouse mat; I realized from the first one u owned that the added length was worth not worrying about where I had to keep the mouse on the table. I also did not add the mouse pocket on, since it made it difficult for me to lift and maneuver the tabletop off my lap and not the stand by the sofa, but that’s just me. I did like the mouse pocket on my version 1.0 so thatwould be a personal preference, just a consideration. Highly recommend everything!

Super happy!
Super happy with my Couchmaster Cycon2! The cushions are the perfect density, the table was nice and wide and the cable grommets and side pockets are the cherry on top. You even throw in a mousepad which is really nice. I had to upgrade to the backlit desk mat. I love that it is cut to the exact size of the desk.

Much better than expected, Must own for couch gamers.
I’ve had my PC in the living room for a long time which presented problems for mouse/kb play so I generally used a controller which meant I’d have little chance of winning anything pvp and be at a disadvantage in coop. That’s all changed. After looking at literally hundreds of different potential solutions I accidentally found this and knew instantly it was what I needed.First it fits my large Logitech keyboard and powermod mat mousepad. The unit itself does come with its own pretty good quality mouse pad though.Second it allows me to play on my couch while still reclined so I can still sit back and relax like with a controller buy with the massive added accuracy of a mouse and keyboard.Assembly is simple, you just remove a few screws to setup the USB hub and run your wife’s although thumb tab locks would have worked better for quick access… I tested the hub and it worked great but I won’t be using it simply because I already had extension cables to reach my couch. All in all this thing is very simple to setup and use, it makes couch gaming with MKB incredibly easy and because it’s 3 separate pieces it’s incredibly simple to just life the board and store that and the 2 foam arm rests in a closet or something.I really couldn’t have asked for a better device. I didn’t really have an issue with the keyboard moving but a rubber like surface where the keyboard goes would be fantastic but again not necessary as they provide Velcro for you that you can use to keep everything in place.I’d definitely buy it again in a heartbeat.

Like it, don’t love it
After having either demoed or bought every other known lapdesk product that is, or has been, available over the last 5 years, I really believe this is the best product on the market for people who want to work or game on a couch, loveseat or recliner. This one stands apart from the others in several ways: it sits on its own support arms, and not directly on the user’s lap; it is large enough for full sized keyboard and mouse, with plenty of movement space; it is “modular”, so it easily accommodates users and furniture of different widths, and can be easily stored when not in use; it is wired for keyboard, mouse, and usb expansion slots so you can game from the couch without experiencing wireless-peripheral latency, but can stow the cable easily and be fully untethered; it offers a storage pocket for other accessories; it is generally sturdy and well made. But it’s not perfect. The major drawback is the height of the side bolsters. They aren’t adjustable, and will only be comfortable for users with a spine and arm length in a certain range. At 5’6″ I am on the short end of this range, and have to have my wrists above my elbows (t-rex arms) or crank my shoulders to my ears for the keyboard to be a usable height. Clearly, this is only comfortable for short periods of time and is capable of causing injury if used too long. If the foam inside the bolsters had been assembled in layers instead of a block, we shorter gamers could remove one or more layers as needed, giving us the perfect height. This would cause some bunching and gaping of the vinyl cover, but would be preferable to spending a few hundred dollars on something that can only be used for 30 minutes before causing discomfort. The other drawback is that the wrist rests are hard and the transition ridges are rough, doubly noticeable because said height challenges mean my wrists are pressing into the rests during use, rather than hovering over them.I’ve been able to mitigate the height issues on my own by moving my furniture around and using just the board on the recliner arms, tossing the bolsters into the basement to collect dust. If they were in any way height adjustable, this would be a 5-star product.

Great quality, and extremely comfortable.
I am 6’3″ tall and this the only item I have found that works for me. It’s built sturdy, the cushions are comfortable, and the edges are angled for your wrist. I don’t place a keyboard on it. I sit my gaming laptop on it, as well as my gaming mouse. It works perfect for my needs!

This thing is great!
I got this so I could occasionally game on my couch with a keyboard and mouse and it’s been great! The fabric unzips so you can wash it if you need to, which is very very nice. The cable management bays are fantastic and make it super easy to wind up your cables so they’re not too long and fall all over the place. I’m 6’2″ and the height of the “main deck” is perfect and comfortable for me. I wouldn’t change a thing. If I had to nitpick anything, it would be the edges where the cables go down into the cable management bays being a little sharp. When feeding in the cables for my keyboard and mouse, the edges were sharp enough to kinda shave a tiny bit of rubber off the cables as I pulled if I wasn’t careful enough to not let the cables scrape on the edges. Not really a big deal though.

Couchmaster, So nice, I bought it twice!
TLDR; Very nice platform. Side cushions may wear fast over time, and storage when not in use is a pain. Over amazing, very versatile, and worth it if you have no other choices for computing solutions! So, I was looking for something like this in a pinch. My wife and I bought two new computers after not having a primary computer for a while, in excitement for the release of WoW Classic. As soon as we bought our laptops, we new that comfort was going to be an issue. We started by getting a fold out table and setting up in our living room, but that got old fast. Then we bought some just TV tray tables, but again, with big comfy couches , you still had to lean forward so far to be able to use them. I then finally came across this CouchMaster while google searching “Laptop trays”. It looked perfect for our situation, but the price did seem a bit steep. I held out for a day, but when I had to put the table away again at the end of the night, I thought to myself, lets try it.Shipping was slow, but I never fault the selling company for that when there is a third party involved. The package came and it was quite large. Unboxing was a normal experience and upon unboxing, I did not notice anything wrong out of the box.Setup was easy, set the two foam cushions where your sitting, sit in between them and place the board on your lap with the two ends on the cushions..This is intended to be used as just a keyboard/mouse stand with cables reaching to a PC near the TV in your living room. but I had a laptop that I just wanted to sit comfortably with me on my big oversized couch.Mounting my controls was more interesting than I thought it would be. You have to pull it in with enough slack to move, just enough for play, but then the pole on the inside of the system, you take the excess and wrap it all around that and then plug it in. Its not to bad of a system, but I am slightly worried about what effect it may do to my cable over time of being in there. The cable to power the HUB that is installed into the system and come out was plenty long, but with my setup of placing my laptop on the board, it really was in the way being a straight plug in. I then bought a 90 degree USB adapter, and as you can see, it makes it plug in flush to my system and does not protrude out in my way anymore. I also drilled an additional hole in the back to run it more direct for better cable management. Not a fault on the manufacturer, but it was actually nice that this system is plastic and that i was able to do that. I also installed a cable holder for my power supply, just so it would’t be dangling in between my lefts and was just routed off to the side while i sit.Overall, this system is very nice. Comfortable to use, and very versatile. the foam that is used for the side cushions is firm at first, but they do seem like they may wear over time, so finding replacement s in the future may be an issue. There is even times where I just use the tray and set on my lap when I just wanna play around on my laptop for a quick bit. But I get the cushions when I know i’ll be setting for a good gaming session. When I got mine in and started using it a few times, my wife decided that she wanted on for her system too. So we bought another one. Hers is in the picture and is still stock. she will be mainly just using hers for more of a seat with her laptop and wireless mouse plugged directly into her laptop.Storage is a little bit of a pain. for my wife, not so much. she just puts her laptop and mouse up and then she can store her cushions and board anywhere she needs. With my setup, with having my gaming keypad and mouse mounted inside and semi-permanent, I am only able to store my board level. I use the supplied mouse bag to store the mouse so it doesn’t flop around, but it isn’t perfect. My game pad has some good rubber feet and doesn’t shift/move to much. but like I said, when you have these things installed as intended, storage does become an issue.Overall, great product. Price is a bit high to take a chance, but if your in a situation of like what I needed, it is well worth it.

I have reached levels of sloth previously thought unattainable
Let’s be honest, if you’re at the point where you’re reading reviews on this page you aren’t really thinking “Should I be paying ~$200 for something like this when I can get a cheaper product that just sits on my knees?” You’re actually thinking “I want to sit on my couch like a slug for hours on end, and I need something that keeps my arms/hands in a comfortable position while leaning waaaaay back and staring at my tv, can I achieve this with this product, and is it worth the cost?”I’ve been living the couch slug life for a few weeks now, and the answer is yes. You can comfortably sit on your couch with this product for an extremely long time, and you will not feel strain in your arms or wrists, and it allows you to recline back without losing optimal position.Pros:Very comfortable, keeps elbows supported and wrists in a good position to prevent strainPowered USB hub, allows you to route the long extension cable out of either the left or right side.Cable routing works well, allows you to use wired kb/mouse with no negative impact on response time.Pouches are convenient. I keep a bottle opener and some remotes in mineDesk isn’t actually attached to the arms, so it can be slid forward and back as necessaryComes with velcro tape so you can secure your keyboard to the desk if you feel like itCons:Magnets werent attached when I received the unit, easy enough to fix with super glue but pretty clear QA oversight.Cables connecting internally for providing USB + power are pretty tight, they seem to want to bow out, concerned about how that could wear over time. An extra few inches on the power cable could allow it to loop around the bottom peg without bumping up against it.Desk isn’t attached to the arms, so getting up requires a bit of care when picking up the desk platform and moving it somewhere else.Shorter people might have an issue with the height of the foam, I’m 6’1” and its fine for me

Convenient, comfortable. See edit about power adapter.
Comfortable, easy to set up, has a good number of usb ports (two per cable management area for a total of 4 underneath, and another two at the top) and holes for routing wires (2 on top – left right, and 1 on each the left and right sides).Nice that the wiring includes extra power via a power supply – which is my only real complaint. (Note please see edit at end of review!) The included power supply makes an ANNOYING loud high-pitched whine. High pitched enough that I’m sure not everyone can hear this frequency, but it’s VERY noticeable to me. Enough that I will probably recycle it and just buy a replacement. For this reason I rated “Quality of material” 3 stars, since “Build/Manufacture quality” was not a rate feature (it should be).The material of the armrests is soft an comfortable, and nice that they zip off so they can be washed. The “desktop” is made of plastic, but feels solid, not flimsy. The included USB/power cables are thick and feel durable, seem to be decently reinforced at the connectors — I don’t expect these will fray or fall apart anytime soon.EDIT: I contacted manufacturer support who shipped me a replacement power adapter at no cost! The new one works fine, no annoying noise. I’ve updated my rating to 5 stars because of this.

Comfortable. Why can’t we all work from couches?
I work long hours at the computer in an thousand dollar ergonomic chair. Unfortunately, these last few months I have been having terrible pain when sitting to where it was affecting my work. Tried an expensive seat cushion and that still didn’t seem to alleviate the pain.Sitting these last few days in a couch and using this product, my pain when sitting is no longer noticeable. From here on out, why don’t we all work from couches instead of being slouched over a desk?Great product. Some criticism. I wished the panels on the back were a latch style, to where you don’t have to mess with a screwdriver to remove them. Especially when you need to swap devices during the day.It would be great if this same company came up with a solution to place screens closer to your couch without obstructing foot space. Like an extension arm stand for screens. Right now, my monitors sit on some plastic containers in front of me. My screens are not big enough to work at a distance from the couch.

Worth the price
Very comfortable, easy to set up, and offers a clean look with minimal cords snaking around the living room to where my PC tower stands. I enjoy taking my gaming PC to the living room to hang out with my wife and pets more, but I was always relegated to controller-only games. Now, I can play whatever I want, whenever I want, and I no longer have to resort to making some games the “office games” and others the “living room games”. Bonus points that the actual build of the product is very, very nice and comes with very comfy arm rests.I do have one complaint, though, but one that has not made itself an issue yet. Another review here mentions how fragile the bottom panels are, and they aren’t lying—day one the fat USB extension cord that came with the tray bended enough to cause alarm, but I caught it quickly enough to not break or snap anything. I think they should redesign the bottom panel to include at least 1-2 more screws for the cords that have to exit out the left and right slots. So word of advice: always lift up the tray by grabbing both the left and right ends only, don’t try to grab just the top and bottom.

You get exactly what you expect
I’ve been wanting something like this for a very long time, don’t get me wrong there have been solutions to couch pc gaming, but not as perfect as this.I purchased the suede like material (will likely be better than you’re expecting) for the arm rests with long term usage in mind allowing for more breathability and softer feel than a leather like material, the only downside to this would be that it’s harder to clean, you don’t want to spill any liquids here. The platform itself is just the right size (along with arm rest height) for a 5’11 200 lbs male, and it seems like there is room to move in either direction, so likely someone my size was used for the default pattern. Moving on, at the part where the platform meets the arm rests there is a quite nice soft leather like material acting as a pad, most of the edges on mine weren’t tucked in properly, but with a little time I was able to work the majority of the material into the space cut out for it.There is a mouse mat included and it does have non-slip material on the bottom (seen under mouse in image), and as you can see there is plenty of room for peripherals, I had no issue with any of the 4 usb 3.0 ports available. The only thing I’m missing is somewhere to put my phone where I can see it, right now I’m utilizing the big pocket that is on the side of one of the arm rests, but that’s only to keep it within reach. All in all I’d say I’m quite pleased with my decision to purchase this (I threw away my desk chair), if this is what you’re after don’t waste your time, get it, enjoy it.I do have one suggestion, it would’ve been very nice if there was something near the plugs that will clip on to the cables so you can give the plug a little slack and to stop it from coming out of the usb 3.0 port if the rest of the cable moves, I might just epoxy some small clamps (must be weak enough not to damage cables) inside next to the ports to do what I’m thinking.

(Update since I sent my review to nerdytec I LOVE THIS THING: I have used this for PC gaming with my keyboard and mouse, I’ve used this to set my laptop on with mini keyboard while I was on my PS5, I’ve used it for art space. Sure it’s sold for PC gaming, but it really is a portable anywhere desk I can do anything with that I need a desk for. Super happy!)I just wanted to say thank you for inventing something like this.My bedroom is also my PC/Game space and I prioritized having a bigger bed over a desk.I currently use a 65in TV as my monitor and just sit against the wall on my bed. I can use the computer sure, but it never had the feel and ease of just being at a desk like it used to.I’ve had this on my wishlist for some months to give a try and with a bonus from work I finally made the purchase. It arrived today and it feels like I’m using a desk again, but on my bed and I couldn’t be more happy. I don’t have to flake on friends who want to PC game anymore in favor of a console.I like that I can adjust it to how I need for being able to adjust my legs since I usually sit cross legged and this accommodates that.My only input is that maybe making the board 2 or so inches longer on each side would account for people who sit cross legged and you could label it the XL version.Super happy this exists though!

Sturdy and well finished, but could use some improvements.
Just got my Couchmaster Cycon and I admit that I was a bit afraid about its quality. The first impression is that I thought that would be bigger than it actually is.I’m a big guy and I was concerned about the distance between the cushions and how I would fit.It happens that the cushions are sturdy and firm, and you have plenty of room to adjust the lap table how you see fit.The memory foam is good quality and the sears are resistant. The plastic of the board is well made and cut, with plenty of horizontal space for a mechanical keyboard and a decent mousepad (I have a patriot viper set with a corsair gaming mouse pad and it fits perfectly). The under board screws are easy to deal with (it comes with a screwdriver) and managing the cables is easy. The only thing is that there are only 2 USB’s on the left side and 1 on the right + the extension cable for the power supply (you need to plug it on your PC).If you have a 2 USB cord keyboard like mine (one for led power supply and other for the interface), you have less 1 USB port for a wired headset for example, although you can use the one on top of the board. If your devices have any rubber pad it will be already very stable over the board, no need to attach to the Velcro straps that comes with it. The 5m extension cable is more than enough for you to plug it to your PC wherever it is.Side pocket is good to hold cans and stuff but I would prefer something cut in the board itself, since it can be disastrous to insert a full opened can in a elastic pouch on the side without proper attention. So overall, nothing that blows my mind, but a pretty competent and decently made product that delivers what it promises. I would recommend if you want to use your sofa as a desk, since lap boards alone aren’t stable/comfortable enough for me.Excellent product.

Amazing for my disabled wife
I bought this for my disabled wife due to her having to be in bed all the time. We both love to game and she has been miserable without them due to not being able to have a desk for her keyboard and mouse. I decided to take the chance and it was really worth it. The material it is made out of is made to last. The board is very sturdy and thick plastic so it doesn’t bend or have any problems holding kb and mouse plus a drink or what not. The biggest thing is the foam cushions that hold her board up and you can flip them both ways to be taller or shorter it works out wonderfully. I highly recommend this to anyone that is couch or bed bound and you want to get back into PC gaming again with your kb and mouse this has made her life so much better.

Best desk to play games or work in bed!
I’m 5’10, average build, this works great for gaming and other desk needs while in bed. Haven’t tried it sitting on a couch, but I’m sure it would be great. Keyboard and mouse fit perfectly with enough room for fps games, or you can have food on it while you play with your controller. The only thing that would make this a better product, if there was something that you could pivot the desk when not in use and easily accessible when needed. I have to put my desk on the side of my bed and the cushions I have to stack in the corner of my bed. It’s not that bad. I wish I had a better idea but I don’t so, overall, great product.

Gaming in bed or on couch is a breeze
I game on my couch and found that the couch arm caused my shoulder to hurt over time. The couch master allows me to have a better angle and a much better area to move my mouse. The onboard USB’s are useful but I prefer to leave it unplugged. The table has plenty of space and I use my laptop and my lenovo go with it.

It’s expensive but once you use it, it’s worth it
The build quality on this is good, and it’s more than I was expecting. I thought it was just an armrest and shelf to put your stuff on and thought it was way too expensive for just that, but its a lot more. It comes with a very sturdy 15ft USB extension cable that plugs into a USB hub on the shelf. You plug your keyboard and mouse into the hub and wrap it around these fixtures so that only what you need pokes out. It comes with a little mouse bag to put the mouse in and about 10 feet of nice velcro tape to apply where needed if you want your keyboard to stick. It also has a single USB port on the top that my Corsair Void Pro headset can charge from. The ports for the keyboard and mouse are internal to the shelf. There is a 900 mA limit across all the USB ports in the shelf though so it’s not going to charge your phone or tablet at 2.4 amps, but it’s enough for the headset without disabling the keyboard and mouse. Once its all put together the entire shelf can be picked up as one piece and moved around easily, with only the single cord going to your computer and all the rest neatly wrapped up inside the shelf. The mesh bag on the side of the cushion is perfect for the headset charging cord. It feels very natural and comfortable to use on the couch, and completely eliminates the awkwardness of trying to use a keyboard and mouse there. Comes well packaged with all the tools you need. As a note, the shelf part is not attached to the side arm rests and once you use it you realize you wouldn’t want it to be. Very happy with this purchase.

Great product, could use small improvements!
I very much enjoy this product. I got it to use as a desk. I needed to complete homework in bed while I was in bed-rest after surgery. This did great for that. When used for gaming, it offers plenty of USB ports to comfortably do so.However, the two side pads leave much more to be desired. I would’ve really enjoyed a true cup holder or some sort of fancy electronics (like LEDs or speakers) within the side pads for me to feel like they weren’t entirely useless (my thighs are thicker than the pads anyways, so the lap board still rests on my lap). It is for this reason I ended up feeling a little bit ripped off; considering the price. If you’re buying this desk, you are really just buying the praise-worthy and USB-packed lap board that this product provides. I have no complaints with the lap board. It works great! The lap board alone is what kept this review at 4 stars! So, if you have the extra money to put towards a lap board for your PC, this is a great option. It is large enough, wedged enough, light enough, and thought-out enough for you to get a lot of enjoyment out of it. If you read this review to this point, I hope it was helpful. Cheers!

The best way to play PC games from the couch
I’m going to start off by saying I almost never write any reviews. However I felt that I had to make sure that anyone who is thinking about buying the couch master knows that it’s completely worth it.Recently I got myself a brand new gaming PC that has some seriously good specs. Being a console gamer, I got tired of seeing stuff come out for PC and not having access to it. Also I decided I wanted to play Overwatch (my favorite game right now) in the way it was meant to be played.I couldn’t see having to sit at a computer desk and using a small monitor when I have a 55 inch HD television so I immediately started looking for ways in which I could use my television and play PC games from my couch. It’s unfortunate that there really aren’t many options. However in my research I stumbled upon the couch master.I figured I would dive in and give it a shot considering how comfortable it looked and that I could use a wired keyboard and mouse when I’m sitting so far from the PC.Upon receiving it and setting it up it really matched and exceeded my expectations. It is durable and comfortable. There are little extras like a USB port right on top for quick little charges for my cell phone or headset. And of course the most important thing: it’s super comfortable. I feel like I’m just relaxing on the couch when I play. Also, I’m a big guy (6’2 and broad) and this product accommodates people of all shapes and sizes. It’s amazing to me that no companies see the value in couch PC gaming, but for now, long live the couch master.

Comfy, easy to set up
This Couchmaster is exactly what I was looking for when I set out to find a way to play World of Warcraft comfortably from my couch. It was very quick to set up, comes with plenty of goodies you can use to enhance the experience. Stuff like a mouse pad with a sticker that you can use to fix it in place on the board, and some strips of Velcro you could use to customize your Couchmaster as you like it.Might’ve just been me but I wasn’t 100% sure if the cushions had any way to attach to the board but as far as I can tell this isn’t possible. Not that this is an issue, just a heads up if you’re curious.Overall, highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient way to use a keyboard and mouse away from a desk.

Cool concept, causes weird boot issues.
Update: Day 28 now. The boot issues may be gone (for no discernable reason). I generally unplug the keyboard when I put it away, but the handful of times I forget and leave it plugged in haven’t seemed to be an issue. Another odd issue I’ve experienced related to the hardware: I can’t wake the computer from sleep or hibernation with the keyboard or mouse. Maybe there’s a setting somewhere that could change this but I haven’t found it. Not a deal breaker at all, I just make sure to hit the wake/power button on my tower before putting dowen roots on the couch.Overall, I feel like it was worth it and would still buy it again. Rating upgraded to 4/5.Original Review: I’ve used this product for about 4 days now, and I do overall like it. There is one issue that already has me pretty concerned though. For some reason, whenever the USB cable is plugged in to my PC during boot up, it causes the computer to get stuck in the BIOS boot up screen (you know, the one that tells you to hit F12 or whatever to go to the BIOS menu). I’ve isolated this to the Cycon by booting it multiple times with and without the Cycon connected, and without the Cycon connected it will boot to the Windows login screen within about 10 seconds. With it connected it will hang up forever in the BIOS screen. I have tried multiple USB ports, and unfortunately I can’t find any drivers on the manufacturers website to check for an update. I have gone through device manager and it shows all the current drivers installed for all USB devices. Not sure what else to do at this point but to keep it disconnected during boot.Pros:-Pretty large size to fit even large keyboards on it with room for the mousepad.-Plenty of USB ports for your M&K in addition to extras to power or connect accessories like a controller or HOTAS setup.-Armrests are the perfect height for a 5’10” male, could be a little tall for a smaller individual.-Armrest material seems great. Hopefully it will be durable enough for years of use.-Seems to be the only product with this complete feature set. Other competitors are distantly lacking as far as I have been able to find.-Wired connection, so input lag is minimal.Cons:-Weird boot issue mentioned above.-This thing is HEAVY. Like 5-10lbs on its own before the keyboard heavy. Again, not a huge issue for me, but definitely would make it less convenient for slighter builds.-Storage. The long thick cable and general weight and size of the keyboard, uh, board?, makes this thing a beast to store neatly. I settled for a couple of tool hooks on the wall next to the couch to set it on, but if it’s in your living room as a married person, best of luck not pissing off your spouse.-Mouse storage. There has to be a better way than this velcro pouch. It’s BARELY big enough for my Corsair Nightsword RGB mouse. In summary, I would buy it again simply because there doesn’t seem to be a competing product with a similar or better feature set. However, the issues it is inducing in the boot-up process is making me a little worried.

Really impressive solution to a common problem
Used it plenty of times, great pc couch gaming solution for a RV/travel trailer. Would purchase again if needed and would recommend to anyone. Time will see how it holds up but there’s nothing else like it on the market. Definitely worth the price point.I really like the cable management system as well.

Way more than what I expected, not just some wood with a few pillows
When I first saw this thing I laughed. I told my wife, “what kind of idiot would pay $190 for a piece of wood with a couple pillows?” Well…after looking at it and getting frustrated with my current setup I said what the heck and bought one. So glad I did because this thing is a game changer. It’s great materials, nice construction, you can tell thought was put into every aspect. The cushions I was worried wouldn’t inflate to size (it comes vacuum compressed) but they did and they’re very firm. You can rotate them to get more or less height depending on how you’re sitting. The table is very wide, one of the main factors I went with this because I’m a big guy. Every “lap” desk I’ve bought so far I can’t sit cross legged in between the legs of the desk, this one I have no issues with that and it’s awesome. There’s also a built in hub with some ports, a long cable with quick disconnect to easily unplug and store, and really nice surface overall. They even have a little baggy that clips onto the pillow which I use to store my mouse (learned the hard way everytime I get up the mouse slides right off and onto the tile floor). They also have some wire mounting options and self adhesive strips along with adhesive for the mouse pad if you go that route, I left it open so I could easily change around when needed. I only have two complaints about this product and they’re really nit-picking. First, the price. Worth it, heck yes but it’s still pretty steep. Definitely a hinderance to some folks but I do see all the effort that went into making this a quality product. Second, the panel on the bottom where the main long wire comes out is only secured with 1 screw. That wire is pretty heavy so when I move the table the panel bows out and feels like it could break. Not a game changer for me because i’ve it a habit of grabbing that panel and holding it closed everytime I pickup the table but I do have to consciously remember to do so. I think they could improve this by either strengthening the panel so it doesn’t bow or adding more screw points (I get why only one, for easy access but that leads to this issue). All in all, ridiculous product I laughed at and was completely wrong. Highly recommend. If you’re on the fence just pull the trigger, it’s worth it.

Nice, but feels overpriced
I had a Lapboard for K63 Wireless Keyboard and was looking to get another one so I wouldn’t have to keep lugging it between rooms. Unfortunately, they seem to be discontinued.Found this one and watched some reviews, looked pretty good. But after getting this, I just think it’s not worth that steep price imo. It’s nice to have an all in one and only one cable going to your PC. I game in the living room and the cable is just a little short, so using my USB extender. Sure, I can just lay the cable across the living room, but would be in the way and not neat. One of the bottom panels doesn’t click together that great and the center part feel flimsy(can push on it and it bows). It’s on the bottom, so it’s out of sight. With the keyboard(depending on which one you use) it can feel heavy. One thing I do like is the cushions. I would use pillows with the Lapboard, but this works great with wider theater seats. If you can afford this, it does the job.

You Get What You Pay For
While some may complain about the cost (granted, it ain’t cheap), this is one of those happy occasions where actually spending a premium gets you a premium product. This is a well thought out product (save for one issue that made me deduct a star) down to the cabling. For example, the lap-board itself only has a small “break-away” cable coming out the back of the board to connect to your PC (or, in my case, my Nvidia Shield) which is a great choice for storing. Included is a VERY long single cable with a custom connector that carries both the USB data and, optionally, power for the built-in USB Hub. This plugs in securely to the small stub-cable coming out the back of the board. This allows me to easily store the board when not using it. In addition, the cable connection is SOLID and the cable itself is beefy. The cushion material seems of good quality and has a very nice feel to it. Looking closely at the stitching, it looks like this should hold up for a significant period of time. The only negative for me, so far, is the decision to put only two USB connectors on the top of the board itself. The other four connectors are internal to the board and requires a screwdriver to open and fish through your USB device. That is a bad choice for device sharing; i.e. unless you want your devices “hard-wired into the lap-board, those internal ports are pretty inaccessible. I had to buy some 12″ USB extension cables to get those internal ports to the exterior.Besides that one point, this is a well designed, quality product that, at least for me and my use case, is well worth the money as I am enjoying chucking my controller and playing FPS’s on my 85” TV the way they were meant to be play: with mouse and keyboard!

Great!
The Cycon2 stands as an impeccable enhancement for the realm of couch gaming. A thoughtful birthday gift from a friend, it has not only streamlined my gaming setup but also transformed the aesthetics of my living room. By seamlessly integrating the Cycon2, the unsightly tangle of three USB cables has been eradicated, lending an organized and visually appealing ambiance. With the Cycon2 in place, the convenience it affords is truly noteworthy. Its design allows for the secure fastening of my keyboard, enabling a smooth pass of the device when friends come over for leisurely gatherings. The ability to recline comfortably while effortlessly plugging in my headset or controller has added a new dimension to my gaming experience. Moreover, the Cycon2 serves as a versatile hub, accommodating various peripherals with ease. Whether it be the swift connection of a headset, the prompt attachment of a controller, or the efficient charging of my phone, the Cycon2 proves itself as a versatile and indispensable asset. In reflection, I can confidently assert that the Cycon2 is, without a doubt, the most exceptional and appreciated gift I have received in quite some time. Its impact on both the functionality and aesthetic of my gaming setup has been truly transformative, enhancing the overall enjoyment of my gaming sessions and social interactions alike. My only gripe is that they dont have any colour customization add ons. However, the table can easily be changed with some vinyl stickers!

Work from home/gaming on the couch and bed
Look, just like you I also noticed the price and the waiting a very long time trying to convince myself it would be worth it… And ultimately, it absolutely was. It’s more than two couch cushions and a piece of plastic for a desk, it truly does feel like every part of it was thought out and made just for people like us who prefer to game in our TV with our gaming pc most of the time and work from home.First off, the cushions are extremely comfortable and have a pocket so I stop losing my weed vape and phone in between my couch cushions. Second, the desk is full of USB ports and has a runner cable so you can use your wired mouse and keyboard without it needed to reach the PC from your couch, as well as your dedicated microphone and camera if you stream. It comes with a mouse pad which I liked, but I didn’t feel the need to permanently attach it used the 3m tape, I just use it like a normal mouse pad on a desk.Ultimately, I am extremely happy with how comfortable my work and gaming experience is from my bed and couch and I’ll certainly be thanking myself for months to come for this upgrade. Definitely worth the money

Nice product, bottom plastic too thin
Fits a full sized keyboard and the slightly oversized included mouse pad. The USB hub built into it works great. The only issue is how thin the plastic covers are made underneath that cover the cable management areas. The USB hub cable is heavy and causes the cover to sag if the lap desk is not setting on the cushions.

Daily desk for a long haul trucker
Absolutely and essential purchase if you’re like me, a gamer and a professional driver. 2 years later and this may be a clunky solution but once you get it set up with a gaming laptop, mic, deskpad and a mouse there’s nothing about that the 200 dollar price tag that makes me think it wasn’t worth every dollar. Had issues with my legs falling asleep due to lack of blood flow before due to the heft of my laptop, but that is a long gone issue.Excellent quality, never had any issues with the product itself. Would highly recommend to any bed/couch gamers out there looking for a solution.

Perfect for cozy gaming!
Couchmaster is awesome, I should have bought this years ago. My biggest CON for this is the price, which was why I took so long to buy this. This biggest reason I assume is that there are no competitors in the market. Anyways, the cushions are very comfortable and is memory foam so it keep shape very well. The tray itself is pretty cool, setting it up was a breeze and the wire storage is roomy (you could have a problem storing anything with thicker cables). You connect everything to the USBs in the tray and one thick cable comes out the left side of the tray(I believe you can switch sides) and connects to the PC. When you’re all set up on your couch or bed, it feels awesome. Solid 10 for comfort for sure. Highly recommended for couch gaming/work/bed gaming!

Great with a caveat.
Great unit overall,6 USB 3.0 ports, 2 top side above the keyboard location. 4 on the inside behind panels on the underside. but here is the issue, the panels are held shut by a single screw in the center of their panel. from a design standpoint it is bothersome because the edges of the panels keep popping open, Magnets or even a small tong and grove interlocking design would fix this. it isn’t super noticeable when using the board with the included cushions, but they are cumbersome and only tend to get in the way.Would I recommend, yes, it is a sturdy lapboard, the included mouse pad is feels well made, and includes a 3M backing to keep it in place, and the cable management is robust. as is the included powered USB 3.0 cable.Things I would add, I would recommend after market hook/loop mounting for the keyboard. to keep it from sliding around or falling off when you are moving it around. and removable/replaceable port covers for the top side cable passthroughs, and the side ports that you can route the powered USB cable trough. along with either magnets or a tong/grove for the underside panel covers.

Read this carefully!
Ok, I want to give an in-depth review of this item because I really feel like it’s a fantastic product but it’s not for everyone.I’ll start with table size. This lapdesk is great for gaming and general productivity. It has plenty of room for a full size keyboard and mouse setup. I use a trackball instead so I feel like I have even more room. Now for the height. This is the first point where there could be issues for certain people. This lapdesk will not fit you of you are small. I am 5’10” (178cm) 220lb (100kg) and this fits me great. Of you were 5’4″(162cm) or smaller this might be too big for you. Because the cushions that hold it up are not adjustable you would be out of luck.As far as value, I suppose it depends on how you think about it. Could you make something like this for less? Sure. Would it be this nice? Probably not. I feel it’s a fair price to pay for something as polished as this.Functionality wise, it’s fairly well designed. I’ll go ahead and beat the dead horse though, the screws that hold on the back are awful. A push-in panel would be much nicer. The built in USB hub will work fine for your mouse, keyboard, and headset assuming they dont draw too much power. It does have a limit (I think 900mah?) Which is standard for small USB hubs for computers. If you have some fancy light-up keyboard and mouse you will need the additional power adapter.Final notes: this is great for average sized to large sized people who dont have high power peripherals. I do think at this price the power adapter should be included. Also, those screws need to go, nobody likes them guys. An actual cup holder would be nice too.I would recommend this to anybody looking to start couch gaming.

If you are at the point where you are curious about pc gaming on the tv buy this now!
Fantastic product! Every console gamer has that nagging itch in the back of their mind about the pc experience. Every PC gamer probably started out as a console gamer who had to abandon gaming on the tv. Although at any given moment a pc gamer could plug in his pc to the tv but it usually isn’t a sustainable long term fix. They also end up putting that pc right back where it was on the computer desk lol.I found myself feeling like I wasn’t getting value out of 4k tv. I spent hours and hours in front of the PC but I only watch maybe an hour or two of tv a week. The couchmaster has totally changed all this for me. Now I don’t have to be tied to a computer chair for hours and hours on end. The couchmaster is very straight forward right out of the box you will be up and running in 5 mins. There is nothing that can quite describe the first time you play a game that was intended for a small computer monitor on a large screen tv and everything scales appropriately (this has added serious depth to guild wars 2 for me). It is an added pleasure if you have a 4k tv. The couchmaster opens up steam to you in a huge way.The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the two pillows were a little to high for me. My couch is soft is I end up sinking lower than I should be while using these. It is easy to us this on your lap or use something like motherboard boxes to lower the height. If customers could pick the height of the pillows (multiple options) It would easily be a 5 star product for me

Bottom panels are weak and will probably eventually break.
I didn’t necessarily buy this as a couch item, I bought it for its width and its built in power/routing thingy. That being said, I really like it for my uses and the couch pillows are a bonus, but a lot of times I have to leave the living room, (daughter sleep overs, Girl Scouts, et al) and the bottom cable hide panels are flimsy and weak. Specifically, where the supplied power cord comes out, it has slipped from its intended slot. I have to be careful when moving it to ensure that there are no attached cables which may snag and possibly rip a bottom panel off from its single attachment point. With all that, I would buy this again. Ciao from NM.

The compartments for cabling snag when moving and come open
The compartments for cabling have one screw in the middle of each square so the corners of the squares don’t stay properly aligned. When moving, the corners of the compartments sometimes snag and come open. It’s because the cords in the compartments put pressure on the compartment lids and the middle screw doesn’t keep the corners flush. I’ve finally got the cables in the compartments where they are duct taped to fit properly. If they had more screws, the product would be great.

Love the product but….
Ok. I can play just about every single game in own usually just fine. The only game that is weird is “The Final” that game when i go into it, my keyboard will stop working, no keys will respond at all. My mouse might work but keyboard will not. This has ONLY happened on this one game, however. My other games it does work on, but i cant count how many times i’ve had to take screws off the back and re-connect my cables. Sometimes my mouse will only be lit up and keyboard just acts as if its unplugged, i take screws off and its still wrapped around where its supposed to be and no way that cord can even come out even by yanking on it, i did good on making sure its in there with a tad bit of slack and wrapped up to where it couldn’t be pulled out. BUT none the less it happens.I am using the AC Adapters on the cord as well, that plugs into the wall.I am going to reach out about getting another one and returning this one, i’m hoping the one i got is just a problem child. Other than that, this product is great! Its perfect for me and sitting on the couch. I’m a lazy guy (Well they say its inattentive ADHD and depression) But this is helping me feel like doing things again a little bit. First time I’ve played a game for like 4 hours straight in years. That game was “days gone”

If you have the room, this is great for couch gaming
This does exactly what it says and it does it well. Its easy to clean, and it makes using my gaming PC on my TV workable. Its also very effective for gaming in bed if you are bed-bound like I was after heart surgery. I find myself dragging the tabletop all over the house now for creative uses and I discovered that it works way better over the tub as a table than those weird-shaped bamboo designs that are so common. But I digress. There are a few things I would tweak. I wish the cord that comes out of the tabletop to connect to the cabling was retractable because I’m lazy like that. I also wish that the the two USB ports on top of the tabletop were on the back of the tabletop instead. Having something plugged in there limits how far you can scoot things back and makes it more difficult to use with a laptop. I would like to see a little cable wrap mounted inside the cable panels so that it makes it easier to store excess cables for a clean look without popping off the magnetic cover. Yes it comes with screws but ain’t nobody got time for that if you want it to be continuously customizable. I wish the pockets on one of the cushions were on the other side of the cushion. I’m kind of obsessive so it bothers me that the zippered end has to be exposed to “the world” in order to orient them so that the little pocket are on the outside on the right which is where I need them being right-handed. Those little pockets are invaluable for keeping track of my mouse and the tv remote. The only consideration is make sure you have a place for the cushions and table top to live when they are not in use. They take up some space and if you live in a small place like I do, they can turn into that thing you just move “out of the way” all the time instead of having a good home.

Great idea, good design, mediocre drawbacks
I’m thrilled that I can game on my PC and use my home theater’s TV and speakers–it spoils me! This solution is a bit pricey, but it works–with some drawbacks.Pros: the design is simple, somewhat sturdy, and it works well: you balance the lap board across two soft rectangular forms, one of which has a pocket for storage.- There’s a 4-port USB hub- It comes with a mouse mat- The size of the board is generous – plenty of room for my huge gaming keyboard, a keypad, and a mouse.- The board is sturdy and resting your arms on the side pieces is comfortable. It’s easy to get up by just lifting the board and setting it on the floor. Some of the cons are particular to gamers–but since this product is designed for gamers, that’s important.- the 4-port hub is not powered. You can buy a power adapter from their website (Euro plug only) or buy an aftermarket AC adapter that can be configured to 9V. I reached out to the manufacturer and bought one that they recommended, but it can still be hit and miss because…- the power may not be enough. I have a Razer Chroma Black Widow keyboard which takes two USB ports. I also have a Razer OrbWeaver Chroma, a keypad that takes another USB port. I can’t plug anything else in or the hub cuts out. I plug the base for my wireless mouse into my computer and I use a wireless controller from my PC’s ports.- my optical mouse didn’t like the mouse mat. I have a Razer Ouroboros and it was laggy and would drop out. I use a Razer eXactMat, so this is no big deal.- the cables can come loose. If I lose power to the USB hub, I have to take apart the board (unscrew 10 screws), unplug and re-plug everything, and then it will come back again. It helps to wind the USB hub’s cord around the pillars on the inside so it can’t get pulled out of its socket, because that socket is inside one of the two panels underneath the unit–you’re unscrewing it to get to them.- The hexagonal opening on the top may not let a gamer keyboard fit through it. The Black Widow has a chunk on the cable that contains two USB cords and two 1/8″ plugs for its headset extension. It was just slightly too big to pass through the opening, so I had to Dremel out one of the openings and then sand it down for a smooth finish. If I could wave my magic wand and make it all perfect, I’d do this:- slightly increase the size of the cable opening- make the underside panels opened by a thumb latch instead of 5 screws each- include an AC adapter that can sufficiently power a 4-port hub with high-drain devices connected to it.

Overpriced, but totally awesome. Oxymoron you say? Read on…
So, this product is both way overpriced for what it is and simultaneously awesome.Pros: Super Duper comfy. Convenient. I’m sitting on my couch right now facing my windows using it and typing from the… whatever this doohickey is called. I’m not a gamer btw. I work remotely and get tired of being in the office and want to be in the living room with the big windows and space. So this thing is a God-Send to have and it’s perfect for what I need. I already love it and am thrilled to have it.So why is it overpriced then if it’s giving me so much value?Cons: Grab yourself a couple of pillows, an extended tray table and a mouse-pad, and you’d have the same thing. Sure you can plug USB ports into the table… but I don’t need them. Sure it has a drink holder… but so does my cheap fold-out camping chair — and the cup holder is exactly the same. What I’m saying is, this thing could be sold at $40 for what it is and seem like it’s worth the money. $200? No. It’s waaaayyy overpriced. But, because it’s exactly what I need, and there’s nothing else on the market, to me the purchase was worth it. But if you’re on the fence and don’t have the cash, find some long rectangular pillows and a long flat surface of some sort, a mouse pad, and you’ll pretty much have the same thing.

Very good but…
It is exactly what I needed for my setup, only problem I found is that the AC adapter has a high pitch whine when connected to an outlet.
