The company supports its product and that’s the most important thing. The shipping was fast it got here 5 days earlier than it said, I’m here in VA. It works as advertised. If you don’t mind tinkering a little bit then it’s for you.

Pricey, but great for console gamers moving to PC

I’m starting with a strong statement, DO NOT LISTEN to LTT about this device. I love me some Linus, and I almost didn’t buy this because of the LTT review on the Azeron original Cyborg. Now, I understand where they were coming from, but they missed some crucial things. Most importantly, you DO NOT have to change your settings for every game on this. Look out on youtube and you will find others that have used these products for years and they all say the same thing. Do not bind the keys to certain functions in each game, but rather treat it like a keyboard and assign the buttons keys from the keyboard that are most frequently used in all games (There are some great videos on where to start with bindings, and then you can tweak from there). This means it’s just like a keyboard, you end up remembering where a specific key is, and no matter than game, it becomes muscle memory to hit that key( and just like keyboard, you change what functions are linked to what key in the game software). Secondly, it does not take that long to get used to this thing if you do that. I have been using it for less than 10 hours and I am already very used to it, and having a great time in games.Now, on to the meat. This thing is expensive, there is no getting around that. But, even though it is 3d printed for a lot of parts, let me tell you, this thing feels premium. I was really reluctant to spend the money on this, but I am so glad that I did. It takes a little fiddling with to get things just right and to get your bindings in places that work best for you. But once that is done with, it really is great to use. I started out gaming on computers, but ended up on consoles for a very long time. I am just now coming back to PC gaming and have been struggling using a keyboard for gaming. Especially seeing as I have small hands and have trouble reaching a lot of keys precisely while gaming. The Cyborg 2 has a ton of adjustability and works great with both larger hands and smaller hands. The hall effect joysticks is awesome for movement in games. It really is a great middle ground between controller and mouse/keyboard. It gives you the best of both worlds. I love that I don’t have to switch between keyboard and controller anymore, regardless of the game. Usually I switch back to controller for games like Jedi Survivor or Assassins creed, or other movement focused games. I like using a controller in games where aiming accuracy isn’t a primary concern, but I hate the limited buttons on a console. Now I have access to as many functions as I need, regardless of game type, and I don’t have to try to learn 2 different control schemes.One thing I would suggest is picking up the grip tape from Azeron. It really helps with longer play sessions, and just comfort is general.To sum it all up, this is a great middle ground device between controller and keyboard. You get all the great smooth movement perks of a controller, plenty of keys to do whatever you need to do, and the accuracy of a mouse. Even after just a small time with this, I know I will never go back to keyboard or controller.
