I bought this monitor on Black Friday for pretty cheap. I’ve been gaming on a cheap viotek 31.5in monitor for a while and the dell is far better then the viotek. I play Xbox and pc and this monitor it great for both especially if your on a budget you can’t go wrong. My only complaint is picture quality, it is a large screen so expect to see pixels if you are close to the screen. Its hard to nit pick at this monitor at in this price range. It’s a very smooth monitor with zero ghosting/lag. It’s not bad, I’d recommend this monitor to anyone on a budget just looking for a decent set up for gaming.

Sleek and elegant.
My wife was using a 32-in TV as her monitor. While this worked okay, she really likes this unit. Excellent resolution and easy on the eyeballs. Rarely does she compliment me on my tech purchases made on her behalf. She did on this one.

Teen Fortnite player loves it
This replaces his last monitor which was smaller and not nearly as clear images. Also no lag. I was worried it wouldn’t be fast enough for Fortnite but it’s perfect! Happy 13 year old.

Excellent gaming monitor!
I am very impressed with this monitor! No dead or stuck pixels and works great with my Xbox Series X! I got lucky on the panel lottery for sure with this one, no backlight bleed at all. 1080p on a 32 inch may scare some people off but I enjoy laying back while gaming and I’m at about 4 feet distance, so I don’t notice any issues with image quality. The curve and overall settings on this monitor are just perfect. Another added bonus is that I have yet to notice smearing or ghosting, which is insane because this is a VA panel. I ran UFO tests and with the super fast response time it’s just incredible! Great product from Dell, if you want a big screen and sit a little further back like I do, I recommend this monitor!

Bang for the Buck
This is my day 1 review: The whole stand plus the monitor is a very easy three step setup. I have it hooked up to a high end laptop with a high end dedicated graphics card. The laptop is connected to the monitor via an HDMI to DisplayPort cable. So far, the image quality on top resolution and ~165hz Refresh Rate is gorgeous. The colors and dynamic lighting pop through the display in amazing quality. I did however underestimate how large a 32 inch monitor is but it works perfectly. I will update the review as time goes on and it gets put to use more. So far, so beautiful.

The design of the back makes VESA mounting hard.
I am using these monitors for a triple-screen sim-racing setup. The VESA mounting on the back makes it tricky to mount on a fixed, non-tilting screen holder. The screen angles naturally tilt up, and I had to buy different screws / washers to make these monitors work as intended.

Beautiful 165Hz 1080P Dispaly
I’m moving up to this display from a 24″ 1080P Dell I purchased in 2007 as a secondary display. My current primary is a 4K 60Hz 42″ TV.The S3222HG is very nice. The curved screen is more marketing but STILL offers slight enhancement advantage as long as your head is at the “focus” of the curve.As a secondary display AND my PC on the left side of the 42″ and the Dell being on the right side, the 6 foot cord is inadequate. I need at LEAST 10″ more. I’ll need to get a 10 foot to get the cord off my desk. One other small nitpick is the stand is “so-so”. My old 24″ Dell stand is excellent. It has a more stable footprint and it is able to swivel and raise and lower. The S3222HG stand can not swivel. I plan on 3D printing an adapter piece so I can use the old stand.Otherwise I am happy with the display for the price. Paying the little extra for 165Hz, mostly for infrequent gaming, is a nice enhancement.

Inflexible display
The display does not have a zoom-out option and you are pretty much stuck with the wide graphics. Product support is not very clear on that either. It is not height adjustable either but that’s on me, should’ve checked the description. Make sure you do that before buying.

Game changer for my old eyes
I recently got a gig working remotely and was using a 18″ monitor with 2-3 panes open at once, overlapping. This monitor solved that, and is simply easier to view. Purchased right before Christmas, it was on sale as well. Slam dunk.

Great budget monitor
I bought this monitor with for personal use and liked it so much that I bought one for work. Colors are great, it is extremely bright and I’m able to have it far enough away that it doesn’t strain my eyes as much. Easy to set up as its just a plug and play. For the price that you pay, this particular monitor is tough to beat. Reasonable price for a quality budget gaming monitor.

Very nice Monitor with a good picture. I have had some issues with the monitor locking down after sleep mode! Perhaps, I should not have ordered a like new return. Everything was in the box and in good shape but it might have been returned due to my stated issue!

Dell monitor
I purchased the monitor about a year ago. I personally loved it until the screen started tearing. I even contacted support about the issue and they brushed it off saying it was caused by physical damage which I can guarantee that it wasn’t physical damage. The screen randomly started showing signs of screen tearing after using the screen for a year. I recommend not buying this product.

Great — not perfect
Quality construction and well-packaged. I like the fact that the stand may be adjusted vertically as well the angle of the monitor. After using for several days, I did notice that I have one single pixel that is not working. It’s not particularly annoying, but bugs me because the monitor is new. Not sure it’s worth replacing because any replacement could potentially be worse. Otherwise it’s a good monitor.

This monitor has performed perfectly. I bought it for my hard core gaming Son and he loves it. It is located in the family room so I am able to see it all the time. It looks great and has zero issues. My Son would be the first to tell me if he felt it was not up to par.

Awesome monitor!
I bought this not to use on my computer since I have a 43 inch 4K tv hooked up to it. I bought the Dell to use as a small TV. I have it in a corner with a Playstation 4 and a Directv box hooked up to it. It has great color and I love the curve. The blacks aren’t so great on it and if you sit to the side the colors look faded some. But so does my 43 inch TV. It is a great monitor with just 2 gripes that I mentioned.

Wow! Huge monitor for a really great price.
This is a really great monitor. I picked it up on a Black Friday sale for ~$200. Because it was so cheap, I honestly didn’t realize it was going to be so big! (which is not a complaint, the measurements are right in the title). I was replacing a small tv monitor that i had been using for work & gaming. This is a huge upgrade.Pros:- it’s not a weird widescreen resolution, so websites don’t get stretched oddly- the stand allows for a lot of control on height and tilt, right out of the box.- Really good clarity and color balance without much adjustment- a simple cable management hole in the stand made all the difference in keeping my desk neat with a wired keyboard + webcam. Really a nice touch.Cons- It is VERY heavy once set up. It can be difficult to adjust on a desk because of that. If you have noodle arms like me, a second person might be helpful to have around if you need to pick it up and move it off the floor.

Pretty great for a small one PC setup
Colors are pretty great. The best part is the hz of course. Excellent display resolution and frames even for the fastest games. I’m approaching a year of ownership, it has been nothing but great. Works perfectly, and it has a tough design. It can take some hits (don’t ask how I know). Turns off with the PC if you fall asleep watching a movie. You can raise and lower it and angle it up or down. Can’t complain.

Very Sharp
I had a 32″ monitor which after three years went south. I won’t name the manufacturer because the monitor was very good and I enjoyed the sharp text, etc., and I chalked most of the “going south” to our power grid. I retrieved my 27″ ooolder (not a misspelling) monitor and used that monitor for 5-6 months. I finally decided that my old eyes deserved something better so I started looking for monitorsFrom previous research I know that by and large Dell monitors are very good. I settled on this monitor and am not sorry at all. The text is very very sharp, photos (that I’ve worked on – graphic designer) are very true to the original and in a couple of cases better and that’s without any calibration. I’m not a gamer and this monitor is probably wasted on me but . . . . . . I did give it 5 stars for gaming and as stated, I’m not a gamer so take that into consideration.I kind of wanted a curved monitor (reason totally unknown except I thought they looked cool) and am not disappointed. I have to admit I think the “curved” monitor is a little over rated but then again I’m using it 95% for graphic design work. Recommend? Yes.

Decent monitor for the price. Need additional items.
Good quality. Easily able to set it up. Wish it was 4K! That would make this a perfect purchase.Other than that it is good for the price. Light weight, fast response times. The function buttons and ports on the back could be better designed. Getting into the settings is kind of a hassle still.No speakers on the monitor so you will need a sound bar or a headset. Streaming videos on this monitor is slightly more enjoyable for me compared to a 1080p TV. I don’t know of it is the size of the monitor but I do enjoy. Connecting a sound bar is worth it for that reason or you can listen with a Bluetooth headset.Lack of ports like hdmi and usb is probably the biggest complaint I have experienced in the past 2 months of ownership.

Dell Monitor
The screen could be sharper. I do like the stand as it is adjustable vertically. I found that the further away from the screen that I sat, the images appear clearer. I do not use the monitor for gaming so can not state if it would be a good match for that.

Great product, packaged with no care
Monitor came in a nice, sturdy box. However, the outer box had no padding or support whatsoever. Bos was 2/3rds full so it just rattled around in there. Packing peanuts or foam would have been helpful. Otherwise, everything seems ok.
