5/5 Monitor after an Incredible Year of Gaming!
The gaming monitor I’ve been using for the past few years has been nothing short of amazing, offering exceptional value that continues to impress me. Its high refresh rate and low response time have provided a smooth and responsive gaming experience, allowing me to enjoy my favorite titles with precision and clarity. The display’s vibrant colors and sharp resolution enhance the immersion, making games come to life in stunning detail. What sets this monitor apart, however, is its longevity and enduring quality. Despite years of heavy use, it remains as reliable as the day I bought it, proving that it’s not just a great gaming monitor, but also an outstanding investment in the long run.

It’s a monitor, no complaints.
Not a very exciting title but it’s a good thing. After going through 9 separate monitors across multiple brands last year with my main PC, I was concerned I’d have to do the same with my kid’s computer.Fortunately this LG monitor is dirt cheap, has good Gsync / VSync capability, the response time is fairly good, 144hz is nice and smooth, and the colors are good. Not the brightest panel but that’s OK – panel lighting is even and I have one very small spot of backlight bleed near the middle, but literally that’s it. No IPS glow, dead pixels, scanlines, flickering, ETC.Really good 1080p monitor in the perfect size, no muss no fuss.As a bonus – the ‘Service only’ plug on the back can be removed to reveal a USB port that can be used to power a LED backlight strip to help with visual contrast that IPS typically lacks. We’ll see if anything pops up in the next few weeks, but otherwise, great cheap monitor.

Non-compliant HDR10, but supports HLG
We got this last-minute for a professional video trade show to demonstrate our HDR test patterns. We selected it because it claimed to support HDR10, also known as PQ. We put up a test pattern containing 10,000 nits elements and the picture looked VERY dark. This monitor measures the brightest part of the picture and SCALES the image brightness so that the brightest part of the signal is displayed at the monitor’s peak brightness (~300 nits) making everything else quite dark. A compliant 300-nit monitor would display only the lower 300-nit parts of the signal, letting the 300-10,000 nit signal values be clipped (because HDR10/PQ defines an absolute brightness mapping). This monitor is not compliant with HDR10. We expected the menus to have a setting to make it HDR10 compliant, but it did not.On the plus side, the monitor handles HLG encoded signals even though it’s not described as supporting it. HLG didn’t look great, though — it was milky and somewhat washed out, even though we could tell it was decoding the HLG gamma function correctly. Conclusion: don’t get a gaming monitor to show HDR television. Get an HDR television instead.

Good monitor with great color adjustment support
This monitor is perfect price point and compared to others this is the best monitor for the price.THe constrast is 800- 1 , where as the asus is 100-1. How ever there isnt a big difference. The stock color accuracy is bad but after tweaking the monitor settings and modification to the color profile using a 3rd party free calibrator gets it very dead on color accuracy. The price is good for just the monitor as you can get used monitors for 110 if lucky buck 120 is good too. If you want this panel to look the best and preform far better then others i recommend this video by Techless, he gives deep knowledge on the monitors settings and does test on this. The monitor test is very expensive, so you are lucky to be getting it for free.* on console devices you cant get the most accurate profile but its still good. On pc you get the best using the ICC profile. Here is the title for the YouTube video : techles LG 24GN600 Review – Another Good 144Hz IPS

Fantastic 1080p monitor except for the screen flicker
This monitor is extremely sharp for the price and with a max resolution of only 1080p. The frame rate is smooth as can be too on my PS5. After some tweaking in the settings the colors look awesome.Only major issue (besides some obvious backlight bleed) is the fact that is has screen flickering when starting any app on my PS5. The screen will go dark for 4 full seconds. This didn’t happen when I first received it. I’ve had it now for 6 months and it’s an every day occurrence. Sometimes it will flicker in the middle of game too although this is definitely more rare.I would rate this monitor 5 stars if it wasn’t for that issue because I really love the clarity of the display so much. I have tried all ports, as well different HDMIs, and I still have this problem affect my screen. This may not happen to everyone, but it’s just something to be aware of befre buying.

Solid.
Honestly? It’s fine. Good even. Colors are decent, pixel response times are pretty good, and the red color is on the back keeping the front looking good. The OSD is navigated via a nipple which is great. There’s really only 4 things that can be complained about. The stand is rubbish. Specifically that it’s pretty low and doesn’t adjust well due to the price point. I use an arm so it doesn’t affect me personally. There’s some IPS glow, but that’s pretty much a given at this price point. It doesn’t get all that bright. You’re probably going to want a room that’s on the darker side. And lastly, and this is arguably the most annoying one, the power chord ends in a brick so good luck making room in your power strip. The power chord is what made me knock a whole star off if I’m being honest.

Supports 120 FPS on Xbox Series X (resolution 1080p)
The good: it supports 120 FPS with Xbox Series X, and HDR10. The price, currently at 176.99.The bad: the resolution is 1080p. and the footprint of the monitor base is relatively big and in front. So if you have a small desk, not a lot of room to work with, I suggest looking for something more sleek, or getting a vesa arm mount.I got this monitor to keep at my extended family’s house, where my wife and I visit. She will use it for remote work during the day, and Xbox at night for me. So we did not want to spend a lot, needed something on the smaller side, and with 2 HDMI ports. It checks off a lot of boxes (my priority was 120fps). But I’m still considering returning, because it takes up a lot of space on the small desk we have here.

Perfect for the price
I was looking for a cheap monitor I could use with my Xbox Series S and after much research, I believe this was the best I could do without spending more than 200 bucks. It handles all my games well, refresh rate does fine. Honestly the 1080p doesn’t bother me that much and the price difference for 4k wasn’t worth it to me. Handles dark areas and shadows better than I expected given the IPS screen. At the end of the day, I’m not a hardcore gamer and this monitor serves all my needs. I have had it for a few months now and no problems. There are no speakers but I would imagine most people use headsets nowadays for gaming…. If you’re looking for a cheap reliable gaming monitor and don’t mind the 1080, I recommend.

Solid performance, minus the fake HDR
It’s hard to find anything negative about this monitor besides the HDR mode. It’s an otherwise great monitor. But with the way the panel is backlit, no matter how you tweak it, HDR mode just results in poor, washed out colors.

Wasn’t Expecting to Have NO Problems!
To monitor experts/amateurs: take this with a grain of salt, as I am a total noob. For my first monitor experience, I was beyond impressed by the visual quality of this monitor. This monitor serves as an upgrade from an old TV (that wasn’t even 1080p), so I’m sure the majority of my opinion is due to that! However, the display is very crisp, the colors are fantastic (I’m an artist as well, so this is important), and it works great for the games that I play (Overwatch, mainly)! The monitor is not the sturdiest and shakes when there is movement, but I have no concern about the build quality or anything coming loose. There were no dead pixels or cosmetic flaws. I am a big fan of the red accents as well. It’s important to note that I am only using an HDMI 1.4 cable so I am limited to 120hz and lack some features. Despite this, it’s remarkably good, and I can’t wait to see how good it is using the DP it came with in the future! Overall to me, a great monitor that was definitely worth the price it’s at!

Best purchase.
A good monitor; for the price, it’s one of the best you can buy. It has good brightness, a wide viewing range, sharp pixels, and smooth dynamics. The only downside is that you can’t adjust the screen height, but other than that, it’s highly recommended.

A great budget-oriented 1080p monitor
I ordered this to replace a 1080p TV, which had a decent contrast ratio(3000:1) and vivid colors, but lacked any customization or gaming-oriented features. For the price, it’s excellent – you get a Displayport 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports and a modest 144hz refresh rate. The screen can tilt up and down(but -not- left and right), and can be raised and lowered a reasonable amount, and the stand is decent enough.Regarding the monitor itself, first and foremost it is not going to look that great out of the box. Brightness is at max by default, among other things. It has a small button/knob underneath the front that you can use to change all the settings, and you should absolutely do this. The initial preset(called “Gamer 1”) can be fully customized, while the others have certain parameters locked. Before you worry about it not looking that great, take the time to adjust this. It’ll be worth it. It does support HDR10, but lacks any important features(high contrast ratio, high brightness, and local dimming) needed to really take advantage of it. Don’t expect much, but use it if you like it.Second, this is an IPS panel and has a low(around 1000:1) contrast ratio. If you’re coming from a TV or a VA panel, your eyes will absolutely need to adjust. The colors will be a bit different compared to other panels, especially a TV with good post processing. No amount of tinkering with the settings will completely fix this, but you’ll get used to it. On the other hand, you’ll get to experience a buttery smooth 144hz refresh rate, and even simple things like moving your cursor or a window around feel better. It’s compatible with both AMD FreeSync and G-Sync, but it isn’t G-sync certified. This means Nvidia cards won’t turn on G-Sync right away. You’ll need to go into your card’s control panel and activate G-Sync for the monitor. It’ll note that the monitor isn’t certified compatible, but won’t stop you from turning it on.The monitor does have a 3.5mm jack input for speakers or headphones, but I suggest avoiding it. If they cut corners anywhere, it was here. The audio seems both quieter(even when turning the monitor’s volume up) and lower quality. If possible, just plug your speakers/soundbar/etc directly into your PC or console. You’ll get far better sound this way.Overall this is probably the best 1080p gaming monitor for it’s price point. It won’t get you the best picture quality when watching movies or playing more cinematic single player games, but if you value performance you won’t find much better without spending a lot more.

Rock Solid
I’m going to get a little technical here, but I’ll try to be brief:First off, this is an excellent budget monitor with good to great performance in all regards.Motion handling/blur are as close to perfect as I’ve personally witnessed with no visible smearing at any part of the color spectrum that my eyes have noticed. My particular panel arrived with no dead pixels and just one patch of backlight bleed in the upper right – it’s only visible in very dark scenes. Quite good for a budget IPS monitor.Color accuracy out of the box was a touch overly green and red. sRGB color accuracy is nearly perfect to my naked eye after minimal calibration and I’m confident that I’ll be able to dial in perfect settings when I have more time.I’ve read that contrast with this monitor can be a bit poor, even for an IPS panel. This has not been my experience – While obviously not perfect, blacks are far deeper than I would have expected from a budget IPS panel. Contrast performance is worse in the dark grey and grey-black range with those colors looking more samey than the rest of the spectrum, but only if you’re really looking for it. Your eyes should adapt quickly. The HDR mode is a joke. It technically accepts an HDR signal but you’ll struggle to spot the difference. If you really want HDR on a budget, look for a high-quality VA panel instead as they can come relatively close to approximating the effect of true local dimming.Input latency is a non-issue, feeling a bit faster than my 32 inch Dell VA panel but a bit slower than my old Viewsonic XG2402 – one of the last great TN panels with blisteringly low input lag. All in all, extremely fast.Ghosting/overshoot are totally invisible on the Fast overdrive setting across most of the refresh range, though I will say that I noticed a hint of overshoot in the 60 FPS locked title Pizza Tower. Even this was minimal enough that I stopped noticing it after a while. Try lowering overdrive to normal if this bothers you and you expect to play around 60 FPS or lower. Finally, I will recommend that you shell out the extra cash for the stand if you have about one foot of side-to-side space. It’s a bit rigid when using the pivot feature but keeps wobbling to a minimum. In conclusion: If you’re looking for a good 24 inch, IPS 1080p monitor with a high refresh rate, you can buy this one with confidence.

So far it perfect
Got this for my series x and out the box it’s amazing. Big difference in gameplay going from 60hz to 120. (144hz requires dp cable and adapter) . Delivery was off by a day, not a deal breaker but limited my time to play . There was massive flickering when I hooked it up but this can be resolved by changing the video settings on you Xbox . Turn off 4K as this doesn’t support it anyways and restart your Xbox . After adjusting the picture settings on monitor, I could barely tell a difference between 4K and 1080p which is quite amazing. For $150 this monitor is the jack of all trades . Really impressive. Hoping i get at least a year out of this as I’ve seen some reviews saying theirs lasted days -months . Make sure you have it in a well ventilated room, keep dust build up to a minimum and please don’t smoke in your gaming room or if you do at least open a window and put the fan on reverse. Mainly got this for my FPS games and I’ve noticed quite the improvement due to response time. Overall I’d highly recommend this . I was about to get the Samsung odyssey g3 but I’m glad I got this one instead. Don’t base your judgement on negative reviews, everything that’s mass produced is going to let a flawed one through time to time and if you do get one , I’ve heard the return process is really simple , worst part is the wait game . Hope this helps some in their choices.

I ordered a 27in curve Asus 1080/144 monitor when I got a Xbox series s couple weeks ago, I got it only to play destiny again and found out series s only does 1080 for destiny… but after a week I started looking at other monitors bc even tho I loved the curve, 1080 at 27in honestly was bugging me so decided I should try a 24in.Thank god I found a video comparing Samsung odyssey to this monitor.. immediately canceled Samsung order and bought this one. Been using it for a few weeks now right next to the asus 27in curve and it’s 100% a way better experience. The colors on this Lg (w/ a little adjustments for personal preference) just pop so perfectly. Refresh rate super smooth and lately I’ve even been using it for work during the day too just bc it’s so much better to look at than the other monitor. Just feels more “lively” all around.I also love that there’s 2 hdmi ports and monitor automatically turns on based on whichever port is active. Menu system is really easy to use too.The stand is amazing and adjustable height is super easy and smooth to adjust but not too loose, hard to explain..My only complaint is I wish the monitor could be height adjusted to a lower height.. at its smallest it still sits too high for my preference for when I’m gaming. I have just purchased this monitor with the regular stand now though since it appears to sit lower.I just returned the asus 27 now to get another one of these LG’s instead, got the one w/ the other stand though. Will use that one for my Xbox and keep this one for my pc.Amazing monitor for gaming and even work. Having two different new monitors side by side for a couple weeks I can 100% recommend this one at this price range.

Does what you would expect in a great way
If you’re looking for a 144hz monitor in 1080p look no further. This has hdmi 2.0 ports and works well with consoles. For the price you get a good amount of value. The stand has nice adjustments too! If you aren’t someone who raises their monitor or who has their own mount I would just go for the basic tilt model as it’s about $50 cheaper and is the same monitor, just with a less adjustable stand.

Update after 1 week of use:The monitor now has 3 visible vertical lines all the time, I tried changing the cables and even used it with other device, the same issue persisted.Added a photo to showcase it.first review:I am not a big monitors nerd, but this is a good 24″ monitor IMHO. it is quite bright compared to other monitors that I have seen and the colors are pretty good. There was one issue I had when I first used it where it was randomly show pink and green lines in my screen, while the subsequent runs all worked smoothly.Lastly, the monitor comes with display port cable only. they cheaped out on the HDMI cable, so if you don’t have a cable laying around, you might want to buy it separately.

IT’S GOOD MONITOR, BUT ONE ERROR MAKE IT NOT BE A PERFECT PRODUCT.
I really enjoy this monitor, LG was a good brand of monitors and I always chose it over the rest because it had good quality for its price, but at this time, it was the complete opposite. This monitor came to me with a good reference, in addition, I already had a previous one from the same brand with several years of use and it never presented any problems, so I blindly opted for this one as its replacement. And that’s what I expected but when it arrived and I started using it, I began to notice something that had never happened to me in my entire life, 3 bright pixels on the screen, I didn’t understand why this happened and how a company like this fails in its quality control of its products.Anyway, I kept it, because I took advantage of the “free shipping” offer to my country and if I wanted to return it, that was on me, something that I don’t think they would refund me.Otherwise, the monitor works perfectly, vibrant colors, it is spectacular running at 144hz in games like CS2 or Forza Horizon, but whenever the screen goes completely black, it makes it impossible for me to ignore the mistake that LG has made me pay for it.

Great product
Quality is good and even had a vertical option although the mount only let’s it spin towards one side with makes it only a good idea to side mount it on the left side of the main monitor.

Calidad precio

Good monitor for the price
I was switching from a TN panel I’ve been using for like 5 years, it was a nice surprise when I started using this. I mainly play competitive games and have noticed any downsides. The controls on the monitor are also very easy to use. There was a weird auto adjustment feature on by default that would change the brightness, I would suggest disabling that because it’s a noticeable shift.

Perfect second screen
As regular landscape or portrait, this one is just right the kind of screen you need as a second or third screen. Options are easy to surf and withr high refresh rate, paired with a larger gaming screen the smoothness is maintained.

Happy with monitors
This is the 2nd one I purchased. I bought the same one last year and I’m still using it. I really, really like this monitor. No problems at all. Good price, beautiful picture. And sturdy! I have it on a rolling table that is rolled around several times a day. I just put one thumb over the leg while I’m rolling. I’m using the new one for another computer.

Great gaming monitor
Excellent motion handling and perfect response time! The HDR is okay, but it can’t handle bright colors and dark scenes. Other than that, it’s a good monitor and a steal at this price point. I would buy it again!

Overall great budget monitor.
This is overall a great budget monitor. It has great colors and not much ghosting or artifacting. My only complaint is the stand, it’s a pretty big stand which makes it sturdy but it does take up space, you also can’t really tilt it right or left which sucks because I can do that with my $150 144Hz monitor. This does have better picture quality than my $150 monitor but it doesn’t have the same set of features that it has. There is also a good amount of backlight bleeding in the corners but it’s nothing crazy and I don’t think it would get annoying. The package was in pretty bad condition but the Monitor seemed fine. Overall I’d say it’s one of the best budget 144Hz monitor and it’s looks very sleek.
