Lots of fun and very convenient
This is my first Nintendo console and I’ve had my eye on it for ages. Finally decided to pull the trigger and I have no regrets. The console works great and the games are really fun. Being able to use it on my commute to work is amazing and the battery life is mind blowing. Having the option to dock it and play Mario kart with friends is awesome. My only complaint is that games are very expensive for what you’re getting compared to games on PC, Xbox, PlayStation.

Glad I chose the Switch over the Switch Lite!
For a long time I was stuck deciding between the switch and switch lite, and I’m so glad I went for this one!It’s still perfectly portable like the lite, but you can also play on the TV if you feel like it (which is super satisfying when the games have really gorgeous scenery!)You can be super lazy and just lie on the couch with the joycons in your hands without having to hold up a screen, or you can play games like mario party where swinging your arms around and being energetic is a massive part of it.And you can customise your joycons too (if you have an extra $100+)! I would definitely recommend the switch, especially if you like playing at home with your friends and family! Just give everyone a joycon each or take turns, and you’re good! Mine has already paid for itself in fun.

It’s Great, kind of wish i got one with different joycons.
I love this switch. as a game console, being portable is the best thing about it. I got the one with grey joycons because i thought i wouldn’t like one with red and blue ones, cause i thought that they make make me feel too normie? after like, a month, i felt like a fool for ever thinking that, and kind of regret not getting more colorful joycons.i will say, that the joycons can make my hands feel weird after using them for a few hours. A pro controller is definitely worth the buy, it feels much more comfortable in my hands.

Got this to deal with COVID lockdown with kids needing something to do after homeschooling. Easy to set up, although getting 2 player isn’t the most intuitive for younger kids.As a MarioKart fan on the N64, it was great to relive the good old days with the next generation of players.

I was excited to finally get a Switch, and tbh was rather underwhelmed! Most of the games available are random indie ones with limited life or are underdeveloped. The ergonomics are abysmal (even when using the included grip controller), buttons aren’t intuitive, and being a portable unit, no carry case included. You just have to keep shelling out more and more for basic things even like a stand to get the most out of this unit.The moment when I decided that I’d sell it was when on holidays and trying to play MotoGP 2019…the graphics were struggling to keep up, input was laggy, and it was beyond unplayable. It’s also a pain to pickup wifi that it’s not familiar with (like a hotels).If you’re an adult, forget buying one of these to just knock out some known title games, but if it’s for a kid, it’s a fantastic choice. Being an adult, huge buyers regret!

Needs more storage
All-round, the Nintendo Switch is a great product with lots of great features. But the only hick-up is that it only comes with 25GB storage, they could maybe make a larger storage type for e.g. 64GB to make it more playable, with this upgrade they could make it a little more expensive and i reckon that a lot of people would love that option.

Great fun
I got one mainly to play with friends and have loved it, its great how you can play on the go then doc it to play on the big screen and charge at the same time. I would suggest getting an extra storage card, even if you play with game card ( and not digital) they still will use lots of space and you will run out quickly.

I had to replace 3 times due to the defects, including heating up issue. However, all 3 units had dusts inside of LCD so if you’re thinking to exchange it because of some tiny dusts in the screen, the chances are you would most probably find same symptom in the new unit. However, the switch is a very enjoyable game console with your kids and family.

nothing really needs to be said, if you want a switch, and willing to pay for the games you play, then there is no reason not to get this one, or the slim if you dont want to use it on a tv. if you dont want to play for your games, then you might as well get the version 1 switch.
