Great Upgarde from the ROG GTX 1080 Strix
I upgraded from 2 1080 Strix SLI to 2 of these in NVlink. And other than the price that people seem to be taken aback by, putting that in perspective, the GTX 1080ti Strix is going for 830 USD so I think it is right in line. Theses proform as one would expect from the next-gen Nvidia gpu. I have paired them with a 9900k and I broke into the top 100 on 3DMark Time Spy. If you have the money and are looking for a GPU this will do a great job. You will not be dissaponted.

best graphics card I’ve bought.
This graphics card is insane, in modern warfare you can raise the graphics up, abs or shoes you how much v ram you have left and i put all the setting in high and i didn’t even reach half way, forza settings are in ultra. War thunder has a nice called movie and it is recommended not to game in, and it did over 150 fps. I don’t recall the other fps but they definitely above 60

Powerful but wish CUDA were open source
I bought this for deep learning. My only complaint is the lack of drivers for some systems and the fact that to get maximum benefit for machine learning, you need CUDA proprietary and not open source

Bad experience
Dead on arrival. Purple artifacts all over screen, device won’t enable in Windows or install Drivers. Giving 4 stars because seller was super helpful and responsive. But I dont recommend the RTX 2080 TI there are tons of people reporting this issue.

A BEAST!!!
If you don’t know, the 2080 ti is a beast. Worked perfectly. Looked Stylish. Absolutely everything you want. However very similar speeds to the 2080 super and 3070 so it seems a bit overpriced.

This piece of art is so amazing and can run all of your settings on high with no lag and can cap 240 FPS if you have a 240 hz monitor. Overall it is amazing.

Finicky, Runs Crazy Hot, but finally great!
Ok, starting off with this card you MUST be sure you have as many fans as possible in your PC case so this card gets maximum airflow. Under 2-hour gaming load of Anthem at 1440p, 144fps the backplate of this card is too hot to touch. I though having 6 fans in my case would be enough, but it was not, so I have to open the side panel when gaming. Run fan Y-splitters off your fan headers of your motherboard if you have to to ensure maximum airflow.I knew something was up with mine when it would freeze the whole screen about 10-15 minutes into every game, forcing me to hold down the power button to reboot. Constant driver updates from Nvidia can be a bit tricky too. The latest driver from 3/5/2019 seems to work fine with my current games of Anthem and Fortnite, but a few of the past drivers may have contributed to my screen freezing, so I downloaded the DDU (Display Driver Uninstall) tool so I could do a clean install if I need to.Finally, it works just fine after 2-3 hour hard gaming sessions at the resolution above with no screen freezing anymore. Maybe other cards from EVGA or MSI are better cooled and worth the extra cash, but still happy with my purchase…finally.

Do your research and read all descriptions!
I built a pc with this card specially for virtual reality. It performs great, I’m 100% satisfied. Although…This was my first, from the ground up, pc build. If I had to do it over I would consider changing only two things that I learned after the fact. The mother board and gpu. If you’re looking to buy this gpu, it’s worth your time to check out( EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming, 11GB GDDR6, iCX2 & RGB LED Graphics Card 11G-P4-2487-KR https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KVKRLG2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.H7PCbQ2Z71GV )About the same cost, but through my research I’ve found it out performs the founders edition a little bit. But I think we’re comparing Lamborghinis and Ferraris here, both are super cars. All my parts except for the case, I ordered off Amazon so it was easy and fast.Again, I’m super happy, I have built a rocket ship of a pc that has no problem running vr with the Samsung hmd odyssey. but I wish I’d of found the other info before I ordered. Mother board and gpu.I should of went with a gen 9 msi gaming board instead of a gen 8 for the cpu. I ran into a bit of trouble ( my own fault for not reading the fine print). But with a quick update to the bios it fixed the problem and I was up and running.unfortunately I had to buy the cheapest 8th gen cpu I could find (8th gen i3) to do the update in order to use my 9 gen i7. Not a mistake I will be making again anytime soon, it cost me an extra hundred dollars for 10 minutes of use of a CPU lol. Works Perfectly for Price
A lot of hate comes with the new RTX series graphic cards because of the price it carries. I’m not a wiz at knowing the ins and outs of pc hardware but I do know well enough performance per cost. The RTX 2080ti performs wonderfully for any game I play on ultra/maxed out settings without any drops in frame rate or stutters. Yes this includes Minecraft (sarcastic), for the price it is powerful indeed.People seem to bash it when they aren’t able to afford it which isn’t bad at all but if you are able to afford it, it’s worth every penny. It doesn’t output much heat at all, I have a nzxt x72 cooler installed with this so maybe it helps more then an x62? Regardless, most of the complaints I read from other reviews baffles me and performs much better then my old 1080ti.

Don’t count out the Founder’s Edition cards
With only a minimal loss of performance compared to the ROG Strix OC and Gaming X Trio, the nVidia Founder’s Edition is worthy of consideration.Pluses: smaller form factor, tends to run cooler, super solid build, no useless led bling.Minuses: louder than the Asus and MSI cards by a fair margin, priced a little higher, only two cooling fans.If space in the case is a concern, the FE only takes up two slot widths, whereas the competing top end cards take three (two and a half really, but you can’t use half a slot, normally). It’s also not as long, only 10″ compared to the 12″ of the others, or as tall, only 4.5″ compared to the 5.5″ of the others.

Card performs well but a bit noisy
Card came in good condition considering it has been used before. Had to change the fan speed settings for the card once I booted up into Windows using MSI Afterburner. Other than being a bit noisy under medium load, card performs as expected.

EXTREMELY FAST! This card is a beast
THis card can run most everything on Ultra settings at 4k resolution. It can’t run at a fixed 60fps on ultra though on every game sadly. On Metro Exodus with Ray Tracing high + DLSS it comes VERY CLOSE. It has drops below 60fps but it’s good enough for me. I’d rather keep the settings high rather than turn down the eye candy. If you want to play in 4k on ultra at 60fps you will have to wait till the next generation of cards comes out.Overall I am VERY HAPPY with the card. It is VERY EXPENSIVE though and that makes me sad.The seller on the other hand is EXCELLENT. I had a question and the seller got back to me in 1 day. I am VERY PLEASED with this seller. If you want to game in 4k on high or ultra settings there’s no other choice.

“Game changing”
I’ve never been one to buy top of the line cards. Usually I buy a previous generation when I can get a deal. Recently I’ve been very into a first person game (Mordhau) and while I was playing on a 144hz monitor with a 1060 card, things felt zoomed in or constrained. I read an article comparing 16:9 to 21:9 ratios in games, and realized I was missing out on a lot of screen landscape.I picked up an ultrawide monitor and had to get a video card upgrade to go with it. I think I can safely this video card exceeds my expectations. I’m not a benchmarking enthusiast, but having a G-Sync monitor I am able to play the most current games on the highest settings with no tearing or frame drops. The 21:9 ratio has breathed new life into many of my old games, along with being able to take advantage of all the lighting and textures that previously were sacrificed for performance.I’m sure a day will come when this card ages out, but I feel like that will be years. With the price tag, I had some buyers remorse while it was shipping, but after some tweaks and setting things up I couldn’t be happier.

THANK YOU, SELLER.
I bought this card after much consideration between the FE and the EVGA FTW3, and at first I was thinking I should have maybe went with the EVGA one for aesthetic reasons, but I’m really glad I bought this FE and I’m even more glad I bought from this seller. I have never overclocked my card (yet, had it since march) and this has been my results. I don’t know THAT much about PC’s since this is my first actual build, and an upgrade from an Alienware 17r4, but it does seem I’ve hit the jackpot a little with this card. THANK YOU, SELLER!NOTE: pertaining to artifacting, I have never seen what artifacting actually is, but I will include that I have been having weird flashing occuring during Apex Legends only. I was under the impression I had “hit the silicon lottery” with a card that was indeed artifacting, but I do not have ANY issues with any other game, even BF5 or Metro: Exodus even with RTX on and the highest settings, the card performs beautifully. So, I am at this point convinced it is an issue with my settings in Apex and my low refresh HUGE monitor that isn’t ideal for gaming. So I’ll say, so far, SO GOOD.

My favorite RTX 2080 Ti card…
I bought my son a “RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition” directly from NVIDIA and his has been working flawlessly since release (3 months maybe?), and he’s a hardcore gamer. My ASUS RTX 2080 Ti died after 2 months, and is currently being replaced. In the mean time, I bought another one of these “Founders Edition” cards and installed it today. It’s working perfectly, and I hope I have as much luck with this one as my son has. I’ll keep the replacement ASUS one as our backup. I have since learned that the problem many people are having with the RTX cards may come from the memory on the card. If you have a RTX card and are having problems with screen artifacts, try dialing down the clock speed of the memory (NOT the GPU… the RAM) and see if that fixes it. Apparently the memory from a particular manufacturer can develop issues when overclocked, and bringing it back to the default NVIDIA spec can solve it. And tests show you’ll lose at most 1-2 FPS by doing so. But I’m hoping the default settings on my Founders Edition card will provide smooth sailing from here on out! Good luck!

I’m a professional 3d character and creature modeller and I bought this card. You know there are some cars, which is slow to start but very powerful after a while then the engine started. This card is something like that. Till to learn to use it, that would be possible to think ‘Why I bought this card?’ Don’t give up and try to learn to use it because you must learn to use it. It will give you an amazing experience with GPU rendering. Especially with the raytraced scenes, you shall be falling in love with it.

1440p144 freesync difficult
I just replaced my msi r9-390 8G with this card today. Using the same monitor and same displayport cable, i’m no longer able to output 144hz to my benq (zowie) 27xl 2730z. I’m going to attempt to take the card back to the retailer as I’m now playing at a lower fps than i was with the 390…..EDIT: you can fix this issue by enabling 200 percent dsr option in global settings.Green logo light cannot be disabled on windows 7.

DO NOT BUY THIS BEFORE YOU READ
This product is essentially obsolete with the Series 30 cards coming out this month and early October. You can get better performance out of the RTX 3070 for only $499 if you just wait a short period for it to come out. Why spend this kind of money when you don’t have to. You could even upgrade to the RTX 3080 and it still is only $699 for a massive increase in power!

Arrived about a weak earlier than expected, works ace.
Headline says it all; I obtained it about a week before its expected delivery time, and I have yet to actually be able to stress the card at all. There’s no doubt it’s incredibly expensive, but it’s also incredibly powerful. The card itself is larger than it looks in pictures, so keep that in mind. Should fit in a mid- or large-tower, but make sure ahead of time you’ve got a place for a beefy card.
