Everything from the gal cylinder down was garbage. The chair is comfy and the seat itself seems solid but the metal parts, the gas cylinder has shoddy weld spots and the the base feels like cheap aluminum alloy painted chrome which already bent under 250 pounds so, glad i ordered a replacement base and cylinder and wheels from another company because the wheels are just plastic caster wheels, nothing special.update: customer service was friendly and helpful and asked for feedback.5 stars for customer service.

Love this chair

Oh my god. My old gaming chair needed to be replaced. So I said let me upgrade to a better chair. So glad I did. This chair is so comfortable and fits my weight (I’m 240) I’m in love with this chair. Ps the leg rest are a great add also

My Detailed review of the PatioMage gaming chair

I purchased this chair as my old one had seen better days, and the bottom was hurting my rear. Another reason is I like to compute really late at night, which usually involves watching a lot of YouTube for news. A few weeks back, I feel asleep in my old chair, and awoke to such a sore neck. I mean it hurt for weeks. So in looking for a chair, I wanted one with a high back, and one that would cradle my head a bit so it would not fall forward or worse to the side when I happen to fall asleep. I also have really bad back issues, with multiple surgeries, so comfort is key. I need a firm yet soft bottom, and a lot of adjustability, as it is hard for me to use the same position for periods of time. I constantly have to shift positions, so being able to recline, and adjust my arm positions, and even the height. Also I am a large/ex large sized man at 6’1″ 230, so I need a larger chair. I never had a chair with foot rest so this looked like something I wanted to try.Unboxing & Assembly: The package arrived intact in one large box. I was impressed how well it was packed. I especially like the way they bubble wrap the different bolts with the corresponding letter. It made assembly much easier. It goes together like most chairs of this type. I used my drill with an Allen attachment rather than use the included small wrench. Some parts are labeled with red arrows, or say left/right. All these small things add up to a quick easy assembly. Instructions were good. Really just glanced at the pictures to see what order and what bolts for each step.My impressions after using the chair for 2 weeks:I really like it!The bottom is soft yet firm. My butt feels comfortable. It sinks in. The foam feels just right. It is very wide. The bottom adjust front to rear which is important to get the chair to fit legs of different lengths. The chair feels big to me so I would say it is best for a large-xxL sized person. I love the adjustment of the arms. They move up and down and turn inwards and out. The arms look like hard plastic but are a soft plastic. They look like they will last longer than most chairs that use the fake leather (pu). I like how my arms rest on them, but my elbows drop freely behind them.The appearance is cool. It looks modern, but not like a racecar seat like some gaming chairs. The material is very nice it’s soft and breathes. I prefer it to a leather or vinyl. The base is a nice looking chrome with decent wheels.The back feels really good as well. The adjustable lumbar moves up and down and clicks in 3 positions as well as pivots, It feels good to me, I have issues with some chairs that hit too hard down there as I have fusions with hardware in my back. So it has to be soft, and this is very soft. My lower back feels supported whether upright or reclined. The mid/upper sections do not disappoint. They are well placed and soft. My shoulders feel nicely supported yet free to move around. The neck support is what I really like best. It adjust up/down as well as swivels. It too is very soft. It feels SO GOOD, to lean my head into it, and also to stretch my neck out, which I need to do a lot of. I think we all are getting neck issues from too much screen time! I also love being able to grab the head rest, and stretch out my shoulders and neck. Oh my Is all I can say.The reclining with the leg rest is an entirely new experience for me. It feels like a mini-recliner. I was surprised that it was much more steady than I expected being a large man. It is great for a nap or to stretch out for a bit. For me it is a bit dangerous, as I don’t want to fall asleep at night and be there all night. None the less. It’s great for a short nap.I really like the chair. It does take a couple weeks to adjust to a new chair IMO. I believe it is worth of 5 stars. This is my 1st “gaming chair”. I tried a few others in stores and did not like them. One thing to note is gaming chairs are a more relaxed position. If you like sitting very upright, this may not be ideal for you. But if you are looking for a chair to game or chill and watch videos, this chair is awesome!

That chair looking Gooooooood

If you are thinking about buying this chair, do it. First thing is that it’s so attractive…love at first sight. It doesn’t look like any other office chairs. The different shapes for the backrest gave it unique look and make you want to try it out immediately. That was the case for me and i totally fell in love with it. The footrest……let me tell ya, wow ….super easy to operate and sturdy. It looks cool too. Overall look, it’s definitely look futuristic. Enough about the look right? let’s talk about the cushion. I am a programmer and a gamer so i spend lots of time on my computer. I need something that looks good but also provide the most comfortable environment because i’ll be on this chair for more than 8 hours per day. The cushion isn’t super thick but it was just right and it feels good. Nice comfy ergonomic office chair with adjustable headrest and armrest. Has pretty good upright back support and adjustable height. It came pretty soon after ordering in the mail and it was fairly easy to assemble. I’ve recommended for yall because it’s one of the coolest chairs i’ve seen around.

Adjustable and Durable

I can literally sleep on this chair

Not only is this chair good looking, it is quite comfortable. The seat cushion is firm but not hard. Lumbar support is the best I have ever used in an office chair. The foot rest is awesome and the levels of adjustability are just what my back has been needing. What shocked me was how far back the backrest went. I want to sleep in this chair just to see if it would be as comfortable as I imagine. I believe this is a good office chair, but if we are talking about gaming–this chair is awesome.

Great quality even better customer service

I had some issues in shipping and not only did they take care of the problem they actually cared about the issue. Absolute joy to deal with and great people who stand behind there products. I love the chair and for the people who had weight issues I am 250 pounds and the chair is very sturdy and all welds look perfect. For me the lumbar feels great and I am on the shorter side. If you are on the fence don’t hesitate great chair and even better company.

10/10 Gaming Chair!

This chair is honestly the best chair I’ve ever sat on. First of all the setup was extremely easy and the manual was simple to read. The armrest and leg rest is adjustable and I use the leg rest all the time its extremely comfortable. My favorite part has got to be the cushioning. The lower back cushion is so comfortable and helped with my back pain.Overall this chair has got to be the best on the market and I totally recommend. 5 stars!

Great Chair – Love the design

Chair feel very solid chair and is comfortable to sit in. Gave chair to my grandson and he is in love with it.Not sure it it’s shown in the pictures, but this will lay completely back and has a pop out for your legs. Had an issue with one part on the chair, but support was on top of it and worked with me to get it resolved. Even followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied with their support. Highly recommended.

Company stands by their product

I had an earlier model with a part that now has been redesigned. This extremely comfortable yet affordable chair broke near the gasket. I dealt with one customer service representative, Belinda, who always knew where we were in the process and reached out to me to make sure replacement parts were sent to me. When I was unable to disassemble the broken base, they sent me the exact replacement parts I requested, in a second shipment direct from their factory. You might find a chair with a higher rating, but what will happen if it breaks? This stylish and comfortable chair that I’ve spent hours in, snoozed in, and watched media as well as gamed in is the right choice for you if you value a company that completely honors it’s word. It’s pretty cool looking too. I’m glad I was able to keep it, I was sad when it broke. That’s why it gets 5 stars. I needed a chair that would last in all the ways possible. This is it.

Claims Big and Tall but its not really.

The chair started off stellar however it has only been 5 months and things have changed since then. The headline states “Big and tall” however its not really. I am 5’11 and 350lbs. I’ve used this chair primarily for work and gaming. I’ve fallen asleep in it only a handful of times and now it has a permanent lean to the right. There are random pops in it when I sit, stand or recline. I’ve done a check on all screws and tightened some that have backed out since first assembly. The seat base cushion took about a month to break in and become soft but the base wobbles forward and backward a bit.If you’re lighter weight than I then it may hold up much longer but a 440lb rating is laughable. For anyone around my size, I would look elsewhere. Not Exactly the experience I was hoping for.-Correction, after looking at the chair once more, I realized this thing is failing at the base. Super disappointed in this product. Added pictures. Changed from three stars to one.===============================================================================Patiomage reached out to me regarding this product and have rectified the isue by replacing the seat base and providing a refund. Where I am disappointed in the product, their customer service is beyond my expectations.

So comfortable I almost fell asleep

This took me 37 minutes to put together but it wasn’t difficult. The height adjustment is smooth. The width and height options fit my larger framed family members. Lumbar support adjusts to fit different comfort levels. Arm rests adjusts up and down, forward and backwards. My FAVORITE part is the leg rest that folds out from underneath. I leaned back and relaxed for five minutes and almost fell asleep! I will be gaming in this chair and possibly taking naps.

Great Chair

When I first received this chair, there was a small broken plastic piece most likely dislodged from shipping in the box. After putting the chair together, the lumbar section would not adjust. I immediately contacted PatioMage about the problem, and they immediately sent out a new chair. The customer support I received from this company was top notch! About the chair:Pro’s-easily adjusts for correct sitting height-the chair conforms to the natural curves of your back providing entire back support-the reclining function is very smooth-the seat is wide allowing for proper shifting when needed during seating activitiesCon’s-I have not noted any con’s, the lumbar adjustment requires a push down and then a very light touch up to get the support to lock in place.Overall, I would not hesitate in purchasing this chair- great product and a great company that stands behind their merchandise.

Uncomfortably Low Seat Height

I did not expect a seat to sit so low to the ground. Can make knees hurt from too much knee bend which is very uncomfortable. The lumbar support does not stay still when my back is against the chair. The seat cushion is too thin and becomes uncomfortable after sitting for a short while. I picked this chair because of its specs but it does not hold up to someone who is taller and heavier.TLDR: I was ready to spend money on the right chair for me at 6’6″ and over 300 lbs, but this is the wrong chair for me as it is very uncomfortable.

Amazing Ergonomic Gaming Chair

Pros:This chair was incredibly simple to build, the instructions were easy to follow. The chair had a good amount of weight that remains sturdy even if reclining fully. The screws were easy to install, and the blister pack had them well organized. It came with an allen wrench to install the screws as well. The chair is very comfortable to sit in, and the material is very nice to the touch. The material is very high quality, and breathable, which provides amazing airflow. The reclining option can lean back quite a bit, and it is very comfortable to lounge in. The adjustable lumbar support is very amazing. It supports my back very well. The footrest is very nice and comfortable to rest on. The headrest, armrests, footrest, and height and recline can all be adjusted very easily.Cons:There is only one issue I’ve had with this chair.There seems to be no horizontal locking mechanism on the armrests. This means that if leaned on, it will move to the side. It can get annoying on occasion, but it is not that much of a big deal.

Quality

I never really thought I needed a new chair so I was browsing and looked at this one. After purchase and assembly I was extremely satisfied of the outcome from sturdiness to comfortability. Price wasn’t too steep either. Colors align well and the overall put together was fairly easy. My roomates are going to love this as a gift.

PatioMage customer service is excellent.

I really like the look of this chair and I wish it worked out for me. But it does have some issues with the lumbar support and how it attaches to the frame. Overall this chair has a quality about it that made this issue more disappointing.The main reason I’m writing this review is to commend the customer service group at PatioMage, Belinda and team are genuinely concerned about customer satisfaction, above and beyond just saving the company reputation. A true pleasure doing business with such a professional group of people.
