Perfect gift for my video game enthusiast 10 year old son
He loves fort nite and he can even edit videos right on his PlayStation. It was easy to convert his stuff from the PS4 account to PS5. We have had it for almost a year this December and have had no issues. It was his favorite present yet. He uses it daily for hours.

This was a upgrade from playstation 3 for us. It was a christmas suprise for my husband. Very easy to set up, But i purchased the one with modern warfare . I didn’t realize you pay another fee to play the game. Its a once a year charge of 75.00 {I think thats what I had to pay. Its been awhile and I can’t remember the exact amount.} But its really life like picture. I don’t recommend this game for young. But if you buy it and get the age appropriate games for whos playing Its alot of fun. So far it seems to work like its supposed to, we enjoy it.

Arrived Quick & In Perfect Condition
I liked the fact that even though it is a disc version of the PS5 the CoD game was still a digital game. This might be a let down for some but for me it was a pleasant surprise. If I didn’t already have 2 I’d order another from this retailer.

Better than PS4
My son had a PS4 that was getting slower and louder by the day. He asked for a PS5 for Christmas so we got this set. The PS5 is quieter, faster, and doesn’t constantly disconnect from the internet. This set comes with the code to get Call of Duty, not an actual disc. He likes the game as well. This made one young man very happy!

Stand perfect without buying the extra swivel stand for it
Bought this for my husband for an early Christmas present cause his model before this finally went out after years and years of having it. I’m glad I didn’t pay the extra 30 bucks for the swivel bottom piece cause his stand perfect on our living room floor beside the tv. I have young grandkids and they didn’t once knock it over

My first PS5
I ordered this the day it released on Friday November 10th. It arrived at my house at 11:30AM on the following Tuesday.This is my first ps5, but definitely not my first PlayStation console. So far I’m very pleased with it. Was super easy and fast to set up. Will update after a month of use.This is the slim model, I love the weight and size difference between the original and this one.My only slight cons right now are that it can get loud when updating, and downloading. And you have to buy your own vertical stand. It does come with two small plastic pieces that help it stand horizontally so if that works for you then you won’t need to spend the additional $30 for the other stand.UPDATE: 12/13.I’ve had this system for about a month now and have over 160 hours played including more than a few 8+ hour gaming sessions. I haven’t had any overheating or other issues at all. I’m very happy with this system.While the console does have a 1tb hard drive I would highly recommend installing at least a 2tb heat sink. The ps5 game files are huge and you will definitely need the room if you’re downloading more than one game at a time.

Packaging destroyed but console works fine
Update: once we got everything out of the box and checked to make sure nothing was missing and there was no visual damage, we set up his PS5. It seems to be working fine. I don’t think he has tried playing a disc yet, but he hasn’t had a problem playing any online or digital games.Original review: The PS5 that my son used his own money to purchase arrived today. The outer brown paper packaging was perfect. Not a rip. We took that off and were immediately upset because the PS5 box had obviously been tampered with. We haven’t set it up yet to see if it works okay, but my son was very upset and disappointed. Over $500. The box should have been in perfect condition.

Fast but UGLY…
What was SONY thinking with this design? 🙁 Weird curves… Bulbous extrusions… Honestly, when I heard that they were making a PS5 variant with a removable drive I was hoping for a separate external drive attached with a cable. Also, I think the new SLIM variant is STILL too big, and the horizontal orientation for the console requires these somewhat silly clear plastic feet for support. These “feet” should have been part of the PS5 body shell as a hinged pieces that fold in and out. I hope SONY goes back to something with more geometric angles (like the PS4) for the next PlayStation design!

Great console for all ages
My husband and I purchased this for Christmas for our 13 year old son.When I say I have never seen a teenage boy so happy that is an understatement.If you’re considering getting this as a gift for your son, brother, husband, dad, uncle or anyone else that may be interested in one just do it. They will not be disappointed..My son plays this thing on a daily basis all day when he isn’t in school. This is definitely his favorite thing.

Fun for even non-gamers
Definitely not a gamer, but I have had PS2, PS4 and didn’t really feel the need to upgrade until a flood from the unit upstairs destroyed my electronics. It was an upgrade well worth making. Didn’t have issues with downloading Modern Warfare and the PS5 runs beautifully. I did notice that the PS5 generates a lot of heat; my older cat noticed it too and has taken to sleeping in the now cozy and warm shelf beneath it so that’s a happy plus.

Best Christmas gift
I received this for Christmas and have been playing on it every day. PlayStation really has been my go to gaming system for years now and they don’t disappoint with the PS5. Im glad I waited for the slim version as it does not take up too much space. Also if you get the disc version I highly recommend watching Blu Ray and 4k UHD movies on it. Also it includes the DualSense controller which has to be my favorite PS controller ever made. You certainly are sucked into the game with all the PS5 has to offer.

Don’t buy anything that sweet baby Inc worked on
The ps5 is terrific, fast, smooth, good control, great system. But make sure you don’t play anything sweet baby Inc had a hand it. They trashed spiderman 2, thankfully the only drivel by them I had the misfortune of not knowing they worked on before buying. And reading all the other reviews for games they worked on I will never buy anything they did.

Best Console. Period.
The PS5 is the undisputed console choice. More available games than you could ever play, exceptional graphics (120fps), can be used as your smart hub to access all your favorite streaming apps (e.g., Netflix, Prime, Youtube, etc.). PS4 games work, and many have enhanced gameplay/graphics for PS5.Recommend disc version over digital so you can add your games to other consoles in the future. Memory space will be challenging over time, but you can add an external drive for storage and an internal SSID for active games for reasonable money.

A great upgrade from PS4 Pro
I’ve had the PS4 Pro for since it came out and I finally decided to switch to next gen and it is so much better. It was well worth the money to upgrade. Only thing is I should’ve got the Spider-Man edition because the cod game is not very good but that’s just my opinion.Edit: My controller started having stick drift and it’s only been 6 months since I got it brand new. Haven’t even dropped it once minus one star 🙁

Good graphics with the game it comes with which is call of duty the new one. The controller though gets jammed the r2 button specially. I called to change the remote they gave me the money to buy another one. But has soon has I got it same thing happened first time I used it. For the rest it’s an awesome console

Switched over from Xbox
I’m a casual gamer and felt I had outgrown Xbox and their mid-exclusives. I play a lot of single-player stuff with a mix of multiplayer. I don’t care for subscription services as I’m a casual. Between Spider-Man 2 and COD, I’ll be set for a few months. The controller is awesome, whereas the Xbox controller felt like a cheap toy and was very clicky. Out of all my friends, I know 1 person who has Xbox; he has both consoles and only got the Xbox because he thought I was going to stay with Xbox. PlayStation makes homegrown organic games, whereas Xbox just wants to buy publishers just to put the games on Game Pass.

I could be wrong but I think the picture looks better than the old one. It’s a good buy if you don’t have one. The smaller one is OK. I had the older version and it’s noticeably smaller but not worth it if you own one. AS FOR COD MW3: Pay attention to your essential schedule. I’ve lost hours to his game because its just so good. It looks good and takes advantage of HDR. So many different available things to do but for sure activision is trying to figure out how to get their money out of you. A good bundle.

Idk what to say other than it works just as I expected. MW3 digital code is in the box along with everything else so make sure you don’t throw it out. We entered that and had no issues with it either. I will note the ps5 pro dual sense controllers seem to run out of a full charge very quick so you may want to go ahead and purchase an extra one. I didn’t know about the charge issue, but I ordered an extra one anyway so it worked out.

Poor shipping box
Everything was great minus the box the shipping box. Cane with no packing or cushion and was flopping around inside the shipping box. When spending over $500 for any electronics they should be packaged correctly.
