Is the premium charged for this product worth its quality?
Update (03/17/2018):A customer rep promptly reached out helped addressing issues 4 and 5.For the issue 4 it turned out the side netting was a bit too long. The rep shipped a replacement ramp that has resolved the issue. However, it remains to be seen if the issue will not come back when/if the netting stretches over time. Did the ramp have the mentioned loops on both sides (as indicated in the instructions) it would have definitely been a permanent fix.For the issue 5 it was my mistake attaching the basketball nets to the hoops up side down. Reattaching the nets solved the problem. However, the issue 3 has gotten worse. Namely, the control panel would occasionally pop and fall on the floor during the game.Changing my rating to 3 points, mainly because of the resolution of of the issue 5. Had I known about all other issues I would have definitely tried a lower cost alternative instead.Initial Feedback (03/04/18):Despite the next comparable alternative being $100 less, I bought the “pop a shot” product based on positive reviews highlighting its superb quality and, most importantly, its accurate scoring unit. Well, that has not been my experience at all… Here are the issues I have encountered so far.1. Quality of the instructions. Good news is that they are written in grammatically correct English. However, they are not without problems. For example, the last paragraph of instructions in step 13 indicates the use of bolt #26 and references figure 13B whereas that figure shows the use of bolt #26 (which is correct). See one of the attached images. Not a big deal but is annoying.2. Not all included parts were in the right quantities. The number of washers #30 was 61, not 62. Had to use one of my own. Not a big deal but is yet another annoyance.3. There is a control panel that you are supposed to snap on the lean bar #9. However, the lean bar is much thicker than the gap in the panel (see the image below) thereby making it impossible to attach the panel (see one of the images) w/o breaking plastic tabs that that panel has. Here is the ironic part – on the seller’s site this issue is acknowledged and the workaround (instead of making the panel of the appropriate size) is “Even if a tab (or tabs) breaks off, the Panel should still attach securely to the middle of the bar”. Is that considered to be the “superb” quality?4. Here is one of the first “show stopper” issues. The straps of the side netting are supposed to be weaved through the loops attached to either side of the return ramp. Well, except in my case these loops are missing altogether. As a result, the netting quickly slides down during the game, thereby letting the balls to fall out (see yet another image).5. Finally, the scoring unit does not accurately count score for either hoop. One time it would count another time (which is mostly the case) it would not. I tried all recommendations from the seller’s site, nothing helped. So much for that claimed quality…The product takes quite an effort to assemble and, of course, you would not easily jump into just returning the product even with these many issues. I’ve contacted the seller and will update my feedback based on how these issues are addressed.

Very good but somewhat hard to assemble, light weight, bent with highest, board quality needs work
It has 16 modes, music options, and could change volume, could also run in battery, very good purchase! But,It’s a bit hard to assemble -1) with one person2) some manual instructions especially the picture ones are not very clear, you have to take guesses. Prepare to redo the parts if you guessed wrong3) the tools provided are not good, if you have your own tooling with longer handles, the setup would be much faster, and with less effort4) no spare parts, come’on 299 is not cheap, some extra spare nuts and washers would be helpful. For mine, I just got one extra washer, lol.Light weight1) The whole piece is a bit light. Be careful when you move it, press and put more weight on your pull/push side, to prevent the board falls backwards. Don’t get me wrong, the board is sturdy, especially the fabric, since I’ve tweaked to stretch a little bit to cover more area and it holds well.Bent with highest setting1) When you set up with two more extra poles on each side, the board is not standing straight, along with two basketball nets lean a bit towards the players. I’m a casual player it doesn’t affect me though, it actually somewhat helps to score, lol.Fabric not straight enough1) The fabric which let balls to slide down is not straight, so I needed to tweak a little. I would recommend manufacturer to add one pole / rubber on each side of fabric with thorough holes to straighten it out.The backboard quality is not really good1) it cracks two areas when I drill sensors on the back manually. So don’t drill sensors too hard, it would crack…Wires could be longer1) Sensors, power adapter, and especially the control panel wire could be longer

Perfect Family Fun!
I spent days going through review of basketball games like this. I wanted something to be able to play with my son. After choosing this and receiving the delivery I was worried I made the wrong choice, as one bar came scratched. I emailed a pic to the company and they sent me a replacement that came in 2 days. The customer service is excellent. I definitely chose the right one! We have had a blast playing the 16 different games. We have played everyday!

So Much Fun!
After roughly 2 months of ownership (post Christmas), I have to say that I am overall very impressed with this. It wasn’t nearly as difficult to assemble as some of the reviews hint at…yes, there are a lot of pieces, but if you set them all out it’s pretty easy. They are mostly all labeled well and following the directions was a breeze. Be prepared..this is a LARGE unit….be sure you have the room..even at the lowest height setting. I do like the fact that you have several different heights to choose from. There are multiple games you can play although you will almost certainly play the one on one game the most. I like that you can pick different music during the game…and the fact that the front easily folds up and backwards until it rests on the rims is a great space saver. Just be sure you have the room to shoot a ball high enough with a ceiling in the way. I would absolutely purchase again!

Grandchildren love it!
This is fun for the whole family! We got it for the grandchildren in the game room. They love it! And so do my adult kids! This grandma was having a bad day. I was shooting hoops by myself, just to relieve some stress. & I was missing every hoop LOL. A Voice came on and told me the object of the game is to get it in the basket🤪😂That made me laugh and smile! The world is a better place with “Fun”ness!!

Great basement basketball game
04/25/22 update: I finally got around to emailing support about the faulty LCD display and mentioned one of the balls had to be reinflated every few days. They responded within an hour asking for a picture of the LCD which I sent. They responded within an hour again and said they would immediately ship out a new LCD display AND a pack of 3 balls. The shipment arrived a few days later. I plugged the new LCD in before screwing it to the backboard and it worked great. The three new balls all hold their air. Great responsive customer service. Things happen where things don’t work right, but they promptly made it right and I would add a sixth star if I could! Great buy, definitely recommend.Received this fast a few days ago. Built it by myself and had it ready for the kids when they got home We have played it for a couple hours already and could not be happier. It is sturdy and folds up/down easily to make it more compact in our busy basement game room. The instructions were not always accurate. In one step they said to use one of the backboard bolts in the upright bars. Luckily the bolt was not long enough to work so it was obvious that it was wrong. Really wish the sensors were mounted the way the scoring screen is rather than little wood screws from the back. Hope I never have to replace them and mount new ones using the same holes. One thing I did differently was the order of backboard assembly. They recommend two people mounting the backboard. Knowing it was just going to be me I mounted the backboard first, before mounting the rims and all the parts to the backboard. Made it much easier to work with. The game variety is cool. I wish there was some way to vary the 3 second shot counter on some of the mini games as games end pretty fast if the kids miss two shots in a row.The only complaint I have is the scoring LCD number display doesn’t display the bottom right line of one of the numbers. So an 8 looks like a backwards 9. Going to send an email and see if they will send me out a new one. Other than that, great order, great delivery, and great product.

It’s worth the money (Quality Product)

Overall the whole family loves this. Great for family fun and is a workout on the arms. This is also worth it because the announcer has personality (very funny) and also the best thing we love this has Different games not just the typical 1v1 or just 1 player game. The game add diversity and something that keep the game entertaining so much so you run out of physical strength before you run out of boredom. Very much worth the Quality Price!! (Very competitive as well)

Very time consuming to assemble, decent quality for the price
Several things to note:1) There are many pipes that require assembly using hand tools and it is not designed to be easy to install. It took me over two hours to assemble the unit and I am, unfortunately, not a rookie when it comes to assembling kids toys. If you’re purchasing this as a gift for one of your children, leave yourself a lot of time to assemble this before they get home!2) I used a power drill to speed the process, but you have to be careful not to over-torque the screws as they will bend the pipes they are connecting to if you screw them too tight against the provided bolts3) The bolts require two hands for each pipe since each pipe connection require a hex wrench and normal wrench to hold the bolt, which means you’re out of hands to hold the pipe that you’re working on in place. Therefore, I recommend having a second person to help you with assembly.4) To get the most out of this unit, and to have the most fun, you’ll need to use the provided height extensions… which only work if you have >94″ floor to ceiling clearance. I would not purchase this unit if I did not have at least 100″ from my floor to my ceiling. Homes with lower ceilings will have a hard time fitting this in their home, and will have to shorten the height of the unit by not using the extensions, thereby taking out a lot of the fun.5) The unit is long and will need at least 8′ of floor space to not feel crammed against the unit while playing on it.

overall very pleased with this purchase
I purchased this for my children for Christmas because they started wanting to go to the basketball court, but like most cities, they started removing the basketball courts at many parks. Now my boys can play basketball inside the house whenever they want. The only issue I have is that sometimes when we both play a game the person who has the lower score after a while their shots are no longer counted and only the person in the lead has their shots counted, which I do not like. Overall, this is very well made and the balls work very well. So far so good for 2 months in.

Fun for the whole family!
Once you get it together, the fun won’t stop. It takes some space and some time to put together (about an hour) and may get a little confusing at the end. It is a lot lighter than I expected. I wouldn’t call it flimsy, but it’s not sturdily built. The frame is hollow metal tubes that connect together, but they put together nicely. The backboard, however, is very solid. Some people had issues with the sensor. However, after almost two months, we have no issues. When we play, we may play an hour or so a day. So far, no regrets. Definitely recommend this.

Awesome basketball game
What a great way to keep the kids busy having fun. We keep it in the garage for those days when the grandkids can’t go outside and play. They love basketball! Although this is advertised for kids, it is durable for the adults to play with the kids, as well. Impressed with the stability of it, too.. Money well spent.

Good product, bad customer service
I purchased this for a vacation rental property we own in Palm Springs. Once it was assembled, only one of the sensors was working. I contacted customer service & told them one of the sensors was bad. The rep told me that they couldn’t just send me a replacement sensor, I would first have to try switching the sensors…meaning, move the one on the right to the left and the one on the left to the right. She also asked me to take a picture of the front and back of the machine. I told her I don’t live in the unit and that it was a 2 hour drive for me to get there. She apologized but said I’d have to do it.So, the next time I went to Palm Springs I switched the sensors around and, of course, the broken one was still not working. I took the pictures, sent them to the rep and told her I had also tried swapping the two sensors around but the broken sensor was still not working. She said that in the picture I sent her, she noticed that the nets were installed upside down so I would need to take the nets off and put them on the right way, and that should fix the problem. I told her I didn’t see how that would make any difference and reminded her that it’s a two hour drive for me. She said this would fix the problem.Sooooo, next time I went to Palm Springs I fixed the nets. And, as I expected, the bad sensor was still bad. I then emailed the same lady and told her at this point she needs to just send me a new sensor as this is getting ridiculous. She finally agreed and I received it last week. Of course I have to wait until I go back to Palm Springs to see if the new one works, but I hope it does.To summarize, I think the machine is very nice but customer service sucks. Had she just sent me a replacement sensor I would have most likely left them a 5-Star Review.

Great, but TIGHTEN floor bumper screws!
We bought this as a Christmas gift for our kids and it is fantastic. A really great product. We’ve had tons of fun with it. It comes with “10 games”, so it doesn’t get boring. A really great purchase that you won’t regret. It is more expensive than the cheap-o ones at Walmart and other places, but once you get this one you will see why – it is built to last and looks/feels like arcade quality. Also, *great* customer service. Once we assembled it we noticed that one of the rims was welded slightly off, and with one email they sent an immediate replacement. One warning: you absolutely need to TIGHTEN the screws that secure the rubber bumpers to the bottom (see picture). This isn’t something that you are supposed to have to do, and it is not in the instructions, because the bumpers come pre-attached. However, when ours arrived we didn’t realize that the screws weren’t tightened all the way so as soon as someone leaned on the “lean bar” while we were playing, the rubber bumper compressed slightly (as expected) and the screw made contact with the floor… unfortunately we had a party before we noticed this and it scratched the floor up pretty bad. I was able to easily tighten up the screws at least another quarter inch with a phillips screwdriver, and it resolved the problem (and I needed to touch up our basement floor). I also put additional felt bumpers over the screws for good measure. Do yourself a favor and tighten up the screws when assembling the unit for the first time.Other than that, this is a fantastic purchase.

Fun Addition To Our Basement!
Overall this is a well-built quality item and it’s a fun addition to our basement. Assembly did take awhile but the instructions and YouTube video was very helpful and detailed. It’s very sturdy and well worth the $ in my opinion. After checking out the company website, I didn’t realize that you can buy these with customized backboards for your favorite teams! Had I known, I probably would have spent the extra $ for a Kansas Jayhawk backboard! There are a few minor drawbacks: 1) Our ceiling height where we wanted to put this was 83″ high and the specifications state that the lowest height setting is 82″ high so I figured it would fit perfectly in that space; however, at it’s lowest setting, it’s actually about 83.5-84″” high. I had to remove the rubber legs and wheels from the bottom of the unit which gave me barely enough clearance for it to fit. 2) The netting on the side of the ramps does not fit tightly when securing the straps to the lean bar. Because the side netting fits loosely and sags, the balls tend to roll over to the side of the ramp into a “gutter” which makes it hard to grab them quickly during game play. I triple checked to make sure I installed everything correctly so I don’t know if we got a defective net or if this is just how it is. I was able to tighten it using zip ties, but this still is a minor annoyance.

Very good product
We found the game to be very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. We did use YouTube as a guide which was really helpful to avoid some of the problems other buyers have had. My husband and I are enjoying the game, but we really bought it for grandkids. Husband writing now: I am NOT handy with tools (understatement!), so it took me (age 72) 6 hours to assemble the game, but it was actually straightforward and fun to do. I only messed up a couple of times and had to redo little things. Everything works great. Suggestion: You will need a friend for the backboard assembly. It’s heavy. Also, try to use your own tools. The company admits your tools will probably be better than the provided ones, which are designed for people who have absolutely no screw drivers or wrenches. A ratchet wrench is a wonderful thing! Also, get some kind of step stool when mounting the backboard because of the weight and height. Our game fit under a 93 inch basement ceiling, using one extension tube on each side. You are not giving your shot much of an arc at that height and I’d say one in 300 shots will scrape our 93″ ceiling, but sometimes the scrapers end up going through the net, it’s still a lot of fun. Ideal for 10 foot ceilings, but I can see where kids could use it at only 7 feet. Would I recommend this game? Sure! It’s expensive, but so far seems to be well worth the money. Brings out your competitive spirit! I’ll update this as soon as the grandkids visit.

It was interesting to install but the after product was worth it. Adults and teenagers will love this game and it comes with all the necessary tools you’ll need to build it.It is a little bulky but worth it if you have garage space for it. We bought arcade games on side of this game and everyone played this game the most. It’s fun and competitive and worth it!

a few details about instructions
Great buy and lots of fun. A few things, 1). When you assemble it, set aside a few hours. 2). In the instructions there is a typo in step 13. It says, use bolt 26 to attach cross bar to bottom of scoreboard when it should be bolt 25. 26 doesn’t fit through that piece and all the way through corresponding pole. The sleeves that thread on top for ramp over forward tubes (FIG. 13A) have strap hooks on end which you clamp over bolts on backside of backboard pole. If you don’t do this it pulls forward upon final assembly and comes undone at top. Also, in step 12 don’t fully tighten screws til end because of weight and leveling required of backboard. 3). Step 16, the controller board doesn’t simply snap on the lean bar. If you attempt to snap it on anywhere it’ll break the plastic on back. If you grip the lean bar you’ll notice it’s thinner near center. This is where you wanna clamp it on. The plastic on back is sharp enough to puncture ramp lean bar fabric because it’s a tight squeeze so be careful. 4). Step 15 should elaborate more. The cross tube tucks in front of ramp cloth, then you pull it back through lean bar and attach to front side of lean bar. It will also work without batteries when plugged in.

Awesome basement toy
Kids love this even though they start crying when I show them no mercy in one-on-one games. But hey, the world is a cruel place.Super high quality and hours of fun. Assembly takes a bit of time so be warned if you’re doing that say on Christmas Eve.

Happy with Purchase
We purchased this for my 10 year old son a few weeks ago as a gift and he loves it. Was looking for something he can do with us, alone, and when his friends come over that doesn’t involve a screen, and this is it.The different game modes plus the announcers make this A LOT of FUN for everyone. As many others have noted, it does take time to put together. I strongly recommend watching the videos before and during assembly as there are a couple of times the instructions weren’t super clear as to how parts come together. Assembly is definitely easier if you have the right tools… the set comes w/ the basic tools you need, but I used a socket wrench and power screw driver and feel like that sped up things more than the tools that came with it.The unit is big so make sure you have sufficient room where you are setting it up. We set the hoops at medium height despite the instructions saying w/ our ceiling heights we could go higher, as wanted to make it easier for everyone to make baskets without hitting the ceiling. We do hit the ceiling occasionally but not a big deal.Overall the unit seems very sturdy, but it seems that one of our rims came slightly bent, so I am taking away 1 star off the sturdiness ranking.Looking forward to lots of fun for years to come.

Got this to replace a lesser priced one. It had paddles to keep score so it wasn’t always accurate if balls followed each other too closely into the net. This one was clearly labeled for setup. It was nice to finally be able to assemble without frustration. Every pice is numbered. I completely agree with another review I recently read on this item, getting 7 balls were great. I would expect that considering the cost, but I think most companies would have included 5, 3, or even no balls. They do tend to lose air but no big Y there. They provide an air pump, although it broke upon inflation of the 2nd ball. One review stated when the extensions are on, the weight causes the Board to lean forward. This is accurate. The infrared scoring mechanism, as stated by the company, is nearly 100% accurate. Like the paddles, if the ball follows too closely, it tends not to count the basket. It is much more challenging than my previous game. The ball bounces off the rim easily. As it was not uncommon for me to score 100 in 1 minute on my previous game, at times I can make it to 50 on this one.Entire families will have a great time with this game. It is addicting. Especially for the competitive at heart.Overall, this is a solid game for the price.

So far okay but beware of instructions
First impressions: Built solid, good basketballs and overall stable. That said it will take you at least 3 hours if not longer to build even if you are skilled. Need help on placing the back board but you can do alone the other components. Some aspect of instructions are confusing or leae out important detail like where to place the scoring element on the lean bar so just wear your common sense hat while building. The bad: The scoring control is supposed to clamp on *over* the return ramp sleave but it will not- too tight. I broke it trying to push it on. Do NOT attempt! That said, I have no clue where else to fasten this so at the moment its dangling. Lastly, the scoring electronics on one of the baskets does not count correctly. Im going to fiddle with it but the directions do not specify if they are to be installed up or downward facing,UPDATE: I re-screwed the counter back in and it seems to be working. I also noticed the lean bar is in fact a little bit thinner in the center so as to be able to click the timer and game control on…however the photo in the instructions shows it on the RIGHT side with is why I broke it…major fail from the mfg. Its holding on the center for now but c’mon its an easy fix to simply update the instructions! I updated review to 4 stars.

The Best Home Arcade Basketball Game
The Pop-A-Shot Home Dual Shot Basketball Game is amazing. Assembly didn’t take much longer than 2 hours and that’s only because we didn’t realize the hardware was already nicely labeled on the back. All together we had 3 people assemble it but we could’ve done it with just two. Also having a socket wrench is a MUST as it’ll save your arms/hands. The construction is very sturdy once built and seems like it will last for years to come. I had a minor issue with one of the hoops and nets but contacted the company and had replacements delivered in no time at all! Very satisfied with the customer support!! Someone commented saying the “Solo” mode was only the left hoop and that’s not true, at least for me. Solo mode begins with both hoops “Active” and once a shot has been scored that hoop becomes the active one for the session, either left or right. My family and I LOVE the Tug-Of-War game, its how we settle all disputes now. 10/10 for the price/quality you get every penny worth!! (As pictured I purchased the additional 3 balls and would strongly suggest it so that you don’t end up with ball drought when playing fast! The game ships with 7 Balls as of writing this message)

Built like a tank.
This thing is solid. Much better quality than the one we bought at a local retailer a few years back for not much more money. Time will tell on the electronics but it has been so for a month and no issues so far. The sensors vs the switches to register the shots should last a long time. Fingers crossed.

Favorite Family Game and Customer Support is Fantastic!
I’ve always loved the arcade-like basketball games, and finally decided to get one for our home. I had used an ESPN product at another place and that was also great, but I liked that this pop-a-shot seemed like it would be easier to move around and fit in our garage, came with more balls and seemed to be using sturdier materials.Assembly was relatively smooth with two of us. One downside was that one of the hoops was missing a hook.I reached out to customer service, they asked for a photo, and a replacement was shipped to us pretty quickly, so super stoked about the customer service. We like that the audio is pretty customizable, and have also had fun coming up with our own games on the setting 6 with no timer as well as having a lot of built-in games to choose from!Honestly, this is a blast and definitely worth the purchase!

Great customer service and a lot of fun!
Very easy to assemble and when I noticed I received a piece that was rusted on an end and missing a few washers, I contacted them and they sent replacements very quick even when one was the wrong piece they sent another to replace it and said to keep everything just incase. You can’t beat that nowadays!

This game is awesome!!
I’m so glad that I bought this. The instructions were good, definitely want to have another person around to help as it gets larger. The gameplay is great. The sound effects are perfect, the music choices are cool. The game has actual mini basketballs that aren’t forgiving at all, just like at the arcade. It’s a challenging game.I’m extremely happy with the purchase.Pop-a-Shot!!!

customer service is great!
We had a few issues with our Pop-a-shot arcade game but their customer service department is great. They resolved our first issue – defective tube – immediately and later resolved our issue with the scoreboard which turned out to be something we did wrong. Honestly, I’ve had to deal with a lot of customer service reps for a variety of reasons, but I must say Pop-a-shot CSR was great!

Great game!
Great game! Performs as described. Everyone enjoyed playing! Removed 1 star for two reasons: 1) lack of sufficient volume, even at highest setting. Loud enough if just 2 people playing, but with a party of 50-100, simply cannot hear the scoring tone or the announcer. 2) great written and video instructions but still took me 4hrs to assemble.

Great fun for all ages!
Even if your kids don’t play basketball, they will love this game. I don’t know how, but I’ve been getting beaten by a non-basketball playing 9-year-old. He fell in love with the game and now may be ready for the NBA. He likes it even better than playing Fortnite. Now that’s saying something. He hasn’t played it in 4 days. I think that’s a new record. The game is very sturdy and easy enough for a 9-year-old to move around by himself. When I went to the arcade, I noticed that the hoops on this game are the same height as the arcade version. It’s also just as fun.As far as accuracy is concerned, I noticed that it counts every basket except for the ones that go in too fast.Carrying it and putting it together was quite a task tho. It’s definitely a 2 person job. Bring your own drill with screwdriver bits and a socket wrench rather than working with those cheapo tools they provide and you’ll be fine. The only tool I used from them was their Allen key. This is a great investment. Even though it’s a little more expensive than the other brands, it’s very sturdy, and I believe it will last for a long time.

High Quality Basketball Arcade Game
Reviewed a few basketball arcade games with the conclusion of purchasing the “Pop-a-Shot”. After receiving and assembling, was VERY happy with my purchase. From the steel tubing to the locking nuts used in assembly, was very please with the product’s high quality strong tubing and great coating, the bolts and lock nuts, etc.. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and others. Assembly was fairly simple following the step by step directions. I appreciated the supplied assembly tools (Phillips screw drive, Allan wrench, and stamped open end wrench), but used “real” Phillips screw driver and Allan wrench and ratchet socket set. Much faster. Directions were clear, however some clarity could be added in some areas… specifically in areas that interface with the fabric.

Love this game!
Ever since we set up the Pop-a-Shot the kids have been playing non-stop. There is an announcer that does play-by-play and its like he’s watching the game. If you are doing well he might tell you that “you’re on fire!”. If you are having a bad game he says thing like “airball” or “coach is throwing a chair”. If you make a last second shot he says “buzzer beater!”. You can also change the sound to play music and the volume is adjustable which I love.I didn’t realize that there are many different game modes too. There is one mode where the announcer tells you which basket to shoot at and then you have 3 seconds to make it or else you are eliminated. There is another one where you shoot at your opponents basket. You control everything using a keypad with 4 buttons on it, so its easy to use, even for my youngest one.Setup was pretty simple and took about an hour. You can adjust the height of the game to fit your space. We have a tall basement, so we can use it on the highest setting. It folds up and has wheels so we can move it to the corner if the kids ever stop playing long enough. The overall quality is much better than I expected. Great buy!

So Far so Good! OFF the Video Games!
I went back and forth on this purchase for a while because of the cost…but…am so glad (so far) that I did! My ENTIRE family, including myself are enjoying this game! We even have a white board to keep the names of those who lead in all the games! I was gonna get the cheaper version before this model, the one with 10? games & 4 balls, but after doing the math if I purchased more balls plus another 6 month warranty, (an entire year) in addition to the moveable wheels & 3 varying levels (I am unable to use the 2nd extension as it is too close to the ceiling) I figured I’d go with this one, as you always hear the “you get what you pay for”…trust me I WILL update if there are any issues but loving it as of now! Thank you Easter Bunny!

Great Quality Product
We bought this as a Christmas present for our boys – 15, 12, & 8. I was worried the quality would not quite be up to arcade standards and they wouldn’t play it much. After over a month, they are still playing it EVERY DAY and love it!There are lots of different game options that I didn’t really read up on since I thought they would only play the standard game but they love playing all of the different games, some of which require teamwork so it keeps the fighting to a minimum.Assembly takes some time and I highly recommend watching the YouTube video while you’re putting it together. I assembled it with our 15 year old and we made a few mistakes which required us to undo some of our work. This could have been avoided with a little more patience and not getting ahead of ourselves.Customer service is awesome. We had one of our rims crack after about a month (probably from overuse, ha ha) and they sent a new one right away, no questions asked.I don’t write a whole lot of reviews but this is an exceptional product that exceeded our expectations. If you’re on the fence, hit the order button. You’ll be glad you did!

Well-Built Game that all ages really enjoy
This is a nice unit that is comparable to units you’ll find in gaming centers. The scoring seems to be accurate and there are a variety of different games that allow for fun alternatives.Setup:- The setup is a legitimate 3 hour project, including sensor installation, heavy height adjustments and some specific processes for properly laying on the tarp. You need to be fairly mechanically inclined or call your helpful family member.Pros:- Well built and everything you need is included for great game play.- Kids 6+ have played for hours. Adults really enjoy it as well.- Height is adjustable so it will work for low-ceiling basements or tall garages.- Folding feature is easy to operateCons:- The netting/roll tarp allow for balls to escape easily. We lose 1-2 balls each time we play no matter the skill level.- There is a pipe routed through the roll tarp that holds the balls in place. The height is such that younger kids have difficulty gathering the balls. Our 6-7 year olds struggle to gather balls.

7 Balls, 3 Adjustable Heights, 10 Games Modes – Awesome!
This was a GREAT addition to our basement. It arrived in one heavy box, with no damaged or missing pieces. Among the 10 game modes are single player, 1 vs. 1, collaborative scoring, crossfire (where you shoot diagonally) and different game durations. If I had a dime for every time my 8 year-old said “please, just one more game!” I’d have enough to buy another one. We had some adult friends over last night, and this was the game of choice, getting more play than foosball, ping pong and Stiga rod hockey combined. Scoring is nearly perfect, the only misses coming when two balls go through in very rapid succession.Assembly was fairly easy – one recommendation I have is to have a 10 mm box wrench available, it’ll make holding all the nuts easier. The supplied Allen wrench works fine, though I used one from my bike tool to get a little more leverage & save my fingers some abuse. Use your own full-sized phillips head screwdriver for the few screws that need that tool. Instructions were pretty clear; the only part I messed up was that I put the net/ramp on upside down, which we fixed the following day. There are black tabs on the net for the control module wire to pass through, and they should be on the right side as you look at the rim from the shooting area. Fully assembled, it is sturdy yet easy to move – the wheels also lock to prevent it from moving around when shooters “lean in”. With a few interruptions, I took my time and got it together in 3 hrs, all-in. Helps to have a partner when hanging the backboard. No electrical outlets nearby? No problem! Can run on AA batteries or be plugged in. Shuts itself off after a period of inactivity.Great quality, good value, tons of fun. We’re very happy with this purchase.

EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT, EXCEPTIONAL FUN!!
I can’t think of a better word than “exceptional”! From the product reviews, I was convinced this would be a quality product, and indeed it is. But as much as I read about how fun this would be, I knew that would be an individual experience that I would have to wait and discover myself.First off, I bought this for my 10 year old niece (she is obsessed with basketball) because she wanted it so bad. I set it up in our basement which has a 7′ 9″ ceiling. The middle height adjustment was perfect. We almost could have went to the highest setting if I had a couple more inches to work with. But we like it just fine where it’s at.We have had this just a few days, and it has been used for hours! I’m 42 and enjoying this very much. But with 6 kids in the house (between the ages of 10 and 18) it is getting used several times a day. Everyone loves it! It even gives you more exercise than you would think. The kids complain that they are hot and their arms hurt from playing so much haha. Hey, anything that compels these young ones to put down their phones and go compete in some physical activity is definitely a win!Besides the physical quality of the product itself, I’m also pleased with the mechanics. I’ve been watching the scoring accuracy very carefully while the kids play. I agree that the sensors seem to be working at least 98% percent of the time. Probably better, because I have only witnessed twice that a score was not counted. And that’s after hundreds of shots! So now, I have to tell you one of my favorite parts… the announcer! The kids agree with me that “he” makes this game so much fun! The music is also quite good. Not just a cheesy multi-tone sound, but real music! The built in speaker is of better quality than most games I’ve purchased, but I love that fact that there is a aux jack on the back to plug in a better, external speaker. I did this and it sounds amazing! Also, the announcer had quite a large vocabulary. Yes, you do hear the same phrases quite a bit, but there are many of them. And even after hours of play, new ones we haven’t heard come up. He gives both encouraging comments and gives some sarcastic, humorous comments too. I won’t spoil the fun by quoting his comments here, but he is entertaining and adds to the entire experience. The 10 games also keep this game from getting too repetitive. The kids love to switch it up all the time. The “cheat sheet” is very handy too because it is attached next to the control board and it gives an explanation of all the games. This has been one of the best entertainment investments we’ve ever made and it’s an awesome compliment to our game room!P.S. The fact that it easily lifts and folds up, allowed us to place it by our pool table so it does not get in our way at all.

These will provide hours of fun for all ages!
You don’t have to be athletic to have a great time with these pop a shots. Two players at one time. Solid construction. You’ll need an hour to assemble if you’re not hands on save. I think it’s a great value for the money and would definitely buy more of these again!

Great fun
It was very easy to set up. I did it all by myself. I have tried it out a few times, but I have yet to have friends over to play any competition. It is harder to make a basket than you might think!
