4.0 out of 5 stars CARD TILTING DOWN AFTER INSTALLED!!!
I watched a lot of youtube video and they recommend this card and decided to give it a try. The card run great but it has the issue after you install the card, you will notice that the card is tilting down on the right side. The other cards don’t do that even without support bracket

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing card! zero issues
I built a new home pc and but this card in it. runs very well without issue. would recommend this to anyone running an AMD setup

5.0 out of 5 stars Great upgrade
Went from a 2060S to this card. Can finally do 2K gaming on high settings around 120-140 FPS. The card is quiet, can’t hear it over my case fans or CPU water cooler fans when temps rise. No mechanical issues with the card. Slight issues with driver’s, images and games appeared blurry. Make sure to do a completely uninstall of ALL graphics drivers in safe mode then do fresh install of drivers to avoid this issue. Was able to undervolt the card while simultaneously raising memory to 2800 and core to 3k without issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful card, as advertised
Not really too much to say, it works as I would expect based on reviews/performance testing and is quiet enough at load and basically unnoticeable at idle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Card is Good, AMD drivers are crap
First time buyer of this brand and I must say the rumours that Saphire makes good cards is true, very good and stable card.. upgraded from an RTX 2080 Ti.. so did not feel much of an upgrade.. also it looks like AMD doesnt care about the 50 other people who have this card and that can be seen with the inferior graphics.. I had purple, red, green color shadowing all over the screen in Dying light 2 ray tracing.. Wanted to support team red but a hard No..eneded up with a 4080.. happy with that..

5.0 out of 5 stars A great upgrade after so long
I have been holding off upgrading my GPU for quite a while now, upgrading just about everything else in the mean time. Part of that was my previous card was a evga 2070, a card that is still pretty good. Most of it was the jaw dropping prices being asked for the 30 and 40 series, which still haven’t fallen enough. Lastly the switch to AMD was due to Nvidia’s behavior. While prices are still a little high, it was finally low enough to warrant the upgrade, and i am very happy with the 7900xt pulse. Its a solid card, pretty quite, runs cool (i have rarely seen it higher then the 40s c) and managed to fit in my case (i have less then an in clearance left). It comes with a support bracket to help hold up the card, which was annoying to install, but is solid and seems to offer good support. Unless you really must have the absolute top shelf (4090, 4080, 7900xtx) then this card is the best option and can match or beat anything else for now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hands Down the best 1440p/4k GPU
With all the bells and whistles (AMA FMF, AMD RSR, AMD FSR) im getting more frames per second than my 1440p 170hz Monitor can display… With everything off I still see over 120fps in most AAA titles

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Graphics Card
This is an amazing card for the price and performs great with everything I throw at it. I hadn’t used an AMD graphics card in a while and decided to give this one a go after seeing the insane prices that NVIDIA was charging for similar products. I can’t say I regret my purchase at all and it’s been a smooth and reliable card in my system.

5.0 out of 5 stars Price to performance ace.
This card is one of the best performers for the money. AMD has come a long way with driver support and the pure rasterization performance is on par with any Nvidia offers without the ridiculous price tag.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great card for server!
Absolutely love this card for using it on my server. Has not failed since I got it and after fiddling around, I got VFIO and IOMMU working perfectly so I can game remotely! Wonderful card for linux users and anyone that is looking into virtualization! It is kind of noisy but is mostly due coil whine, but I can handle that. One thing I would improve on it is overall cooling on the card, but redoing the thermal paste every few months along with my CPU’s thermal paste does the trick!

5.0 out of 5 stars And The Winner Is
Taking everything into consideration i.e., speed, price, size, ready for the future, power consumption, overclocking ability, temps, stability, ram, style, ease of operation and compatibility, low noise and everything else, this card was the clear and logical winner (smarter choice) for me and the SWEET SPOT, when I compared it to everything ranging from Nivida (I considered both the 4080TI and 4070TI cards by different vendors) and AMD Radeon (I considered the RX 7900XT and 7900XTX by Gigabyte, XFX, MSI, ASUS and others). Having the Starfield Game included made this a really sweet deal. PS, I used to be a Nivida supporter, but AMD has now won me over.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good good bye NGreeeda
So far card has been wisper quiet with a hot spot temp of 80c and GPU temp of mid 60c can run every game you throw at it at high fps drivers have been great so far just one crash on starfield that I fixed by updating to the newest drivers game don’t have awful dips like my 3070 did at 3440x1440I would say only downside is it pulled about 100 watts more then my old card

5.0 out of 5 stars Best bang for your buck!
This is a powerful and simple upgrade. If you know what you are doing, installation is a breeze. Make sure your computer case is large enough. It barely fit in my case however the results were well worth it. I am getting extremely good frame rates in game and applications that often tax video cards and usually the setting are at the highest detail level. Great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars it’s so quiet
loving it, haven’t messed with any settings and honestly don’t plan to. it’s very quiet, at first i thought it was dead haha.upgraded from a 970 and what a difference, it’s magical.not your fault but my case screws where not long enough to hold the gpu down (with the support bar) but thankfully it came with 3 of it’s own so that all worked out nicely! i know weird to be happy about simple screws…but it’s the small things that really make the difference.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great card, cap GPU clock if you have “coil whine” problems
Probably just bad luck, but my unit has an audible “coil whine” or electronic buzz/hum when the GPU clocks above ~2200MHz, growing louder with the clock frequency. Fortunately, the excessively high clock rate does not seem to buy much besides very slightly improved 1% low frame-times, at the expense of noise and significant power consumption (~320W at full load) and heat. The GPU does not ever clock so high in most games.Manually capping the GPU clock at 2200MHz in the AMD software eliminated the noise and cut power consumption (and heat) by about 30% in affected games, with no perceptible loss in performance for 1440p gaming. Very happy with the card once I figured this out, and I now simply run it with the cap permanently. Now the card is silent, cool (60-70C) , and delivers excellent performance.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great value on sale, concerning quality control
I got this on sale for $720 plus a deluxe copy of Starfield for free ($100 value) so couldn’t go wrong or complain there. This card is a beast and quite capable In every regard. This card will run every game out right on max settings. However as others have also mentioned the screws on my backplate are not flush, see pics, if this is by design its worrying. If this is on accident its even more worrying. So far the card has handled most games fine. Only a few crashes after a couple hours continuous gaming. Haven’t determined cause yet.I have noticed a few issues. First off if you run high resolutions basically 2k+ above 100hz the power draw jumps from idle 8w to 10w up to around 85w. The same thing goes for if you run two monitors, and if theyre both high resolution high hz it brings idle power on the board up to 100w+. This isnt dangerous but its not good.Another issue ive noticed but I’m still waiting for new drivers to see if it fixes it is a weird horizontal screen glitch. It happens rarely and usually only if I have 2 or more windows up or Radeon performance overlay up. If it isnt fixed with drivers or it gets worse I may need to return itThe 7900 series is still very new and AMD is usually a bit slow on getting drivers out for new series but they always do in the end. They are aware of the idle power issue. Just hoping to hear something about the odd visual glitch / artifact im experiencing with multiple windows / overlays. If you get this on sale under $750 is a pretty solid buy for the performance to dollar ratio.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very powerful and relatively quiet graphics card
This GPU performs just like expected from a 7900 XT – great for 1440p and with the help of FSR even 4K gaming at high refresh rates.I mostly play Red Dead Online using the great HUB graphics settings, and in 4K the card sits very comfortably at 120 FPS with 1% lows of about 100 FPS.I’ve manually limited my monitor to 120 Hz rather than the full 144 Hz it is capable of. Reason for this is that I have found that a solid 120 FPS is more smooth than a slightly uneven framerate that fluctuates between 100 and 144 FPS. This card is powerful but not quite powerful enough for a stable 144 FPS in this game. The one significant downside I found when upgrading from my previous AMD card (6700 XT) is that a regular uninstall and reinstall of the graphics drivers (AMD Adrenalin suite) wasn’t enough. I had issues with stutters and an abysmally 1% low (in the high 50s, which makes gameplay very stuttery when 95% of the time I hit 120 FPS).To fix this I had to boot Windows 11 into safe mode and completely wipe the old drivers using DDU (“Display Driver Uninstaller” – search for it on Google) before booting back into regular Windows 11 mode and reinstalling the drivers from scratch. This fixed my issues with stutter, and maybe it can help someone else with the same issues somewhere down the line. Seems like this card is quite sensitive to remnants of old drivers, even AMD drivers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hey Nvidia, bite me.
Went AMD this time because Nvidia did jack to make GPUs affordable for regular consumers (as opposed to miners) for so long. Not to mention making things difficult enough that EVGA left the game (I was an EVGA guy before). All this greedy anti-consumer stuff. There was more, but Nvidia just left a bad taste in my mouth. Enjoying my new AMD card!

3.0 out of 5 stars dont buy for esports
I had this card 2 years and i can say for casual gaming its great. If u wanna go pro, this card lags behind. It frames skips alot every frame. Playing valorant seeing 1 enemy drops the fps by 100-300 frames. I tried everything i seen as to fix it but it never worked. So i sold it on ebay and got a 4080 with is like 200 – 300 more than this card but it dont have any problems.

Works well in my Ryzen 7 2700X + Gigabyte X470 AORUS, running Ubuntu 24.04 with ROCm 6.2.0 for hash cracking and other cryptographic recoveries. It does get quite toasty though, make sure you have a good PSU and plenty of ventilation.

3.0 out of 5 stars Died after 6 months of use
I bought this to replace a water cooled 2080 that I bought back in 2019 that finally failed. It was a decent upgrade, especially in 4K gaming. The ray tracing performance was abysmal and unplayable though. The 2080 was much better at RT. When first purchased. I tried running the automatic undervolt in the Adrenaline software, and it always failed. Between that and the high return rate, I feel like there might be a flaw in the board design. In any case, I paid $800 to get 6 months of gaming out of it.Update : they left me feeling so good after the successful RMA, that I really think I owe them this update. They replaced it with what appears to be new, or is a refurbished that looks brand new. Either way it works and the RMA process itself was one of the least onerous I have dealt with. I still think there might be something odd about this SKU, but the brand itself is A-OK in my book. I even bought another card from them for another computer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works pretty well
Upgraded from a 6700xt 1080p 144hz setup in order to achieve 1440p 144hz. Works pretty well. Drivers need a tad bit more optimization as I had zero issues with 6700xt and had a few crashes with this 7900xt.Card looks great. Has a bracket to help support it. I have this paired with an amd r5 3600/32gb ram/650w gold psu.For the $670 I paid I’m not disappointed. Yes, you do pay a premium for high end cars and its no where near the “value proposition” of the mid range cards, but you have to pay if you want the top performance. It is what it is. It was originally on back order but did get it in about 2 weeks. Will update in a few months.**Update May 2024**Drivers are getting better. Less issues. Currently on 24.5.1. I still would definitely recommend this GPU.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wait until driver issues are ironed out….
I really wanted to love this GPU, going from a 1080ti to this was supposed to be a huge step up, but in reality, it was a driver/stability nightmare.im not sure if it was the model of the card or if mine was defective, but i was not able to see stable clock speeds at all, they would fluctuate from 1500-2500mhz. Also, my framerates were so unstable, one second i would be capped at 240hz then the next i was dropping below 140fps and it wasnt even close to thermal or power throttling, i couldn’t even max out the gpu at 1080p with my 5900x, so i was planning on upgrading to a 1440p 240hz but i decided to just return the card. this was my first, and maybe last amd gpu untill they get their drivers more stable. also any muti montior setups with high refresh are a disater. idol at my desktop the card was pulling 80w and my vram was always pegged at max speed. i know that this issue has been around for a while, but man…. this was all new to me coming from team green…. i decided to go with a 4090 and build a new pc with a 7800x3d, no compromises this time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great so far
I have to admit, this GPU is definitely beating my expectations so far. It worked great out of the gate without any issues and the drivers seem really rock solid and stable so far. My only complaint is that there’s some coil whine associated with the model I received but other than that, it’s working flawlessly.UPDATE 07.09.23: Card still working great and strangely enough I don’t hear any more coil whine so another positive for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Value for money
This GPU is overall great, but latest drivers must be installed from Adrenaline installer only, not Catalyst. To avoid performance issues, use AMD cleanup utility first. FPS becomes great aonly after all that features in control panel are disabled. The only thing I am missing is the guide for installation of anti-sag bracket.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Upgrade
I caught this beauty on sale, upgrading from an RX 6800. The difference is huge. Runs all the games I play at max settings (with Ray Tracing off, of course). While AMD cards still lag behind on Ray Tracing, it’s not a deal breaker for me. There are videos illustrating how most players can’t tell the difference between Ray Tracing and rasterization in a blind test, just because developers have gotten so good at rasterization.Temps are good, card runs like a beast, Sapphire is among the best, what’s not to love?

5.0 out of 5 stars Good GPU, but, unlucky!!
First off this GPU is amazing it can easily play 1440p titles. I’ve always been more of an NVIDIA person myself but, this GPU is just better value considering the extra 4gb in vram and raytracing is niche and I’ve never cared for it. Just the unlucky part is 3 days after buying this the xt drops to 520 and xtx is 580… I paid 699 for this card.

I came from a 5700XT and this is worlds apart. Playing AAA games before had hot air boiling out the top of my PC case. This card runs significantly cooler and quieter. Only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars on the value was due to it being cheaper in the past from when I bought it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really, REALLY good GPU with a bit of a loud mouth at full fan speed.
Simple. No flashy RGB. No weird software to control it and bloat up your system. Just pure, unadulterated Radeon at its core. 20GB of VRAM is going to allow you to play the latest titles at 1440p with all of the settings CRANKED and still pound out a solid 200+ FPS in a game like CoD. Yes, it’s disappointing that AMD stripped us of the ability to make customer PowerPlay tables, but at the same time… this card accomplishes, at 365 watts of power, 10x that of what my 5700 XT with a 400W VBIOS could dream of doing.

I was a little hesitant at first when buying this card only because there were so little reviews. I picked it up during the prime day sale when it was priced at $750 Usd. 5.0 out of 5 stars Exceeded my expectations
I’ve had this for awhile now and have used it on heavy workloads and lots of gaming, and it has been great. I moved up from a 1660ti to this (7900xt).- Solid Construction- Fantastic heat dissipation- I can’t hear it, but my cpu fan is huge and loud.- Drivers have been working fine, one hiccup so far but it was solved within minutes of updating the software- I love all the options in the AMD software, it’s a league above Nvidia’s.- This thing produces a lot of heat. It goes around 320 watts for me at 100% utilization. However, the card stays at about 72c which is amazing. Will run 4k at 60+fps. I have been using it mostly for 1440p ultrawide though and have had no issue getting 144+fps on max settings on 99% of games. (monitor set to 144hz, could go much higher on most games). Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing on gives me about 70-90fps but it’s also very smooth. Without ray tracing I’m more around 140fps, and I’m sure giving me much more in certain environments.Using cyberpunk as a benchmark in this review since the graphics are crazy, but I have had a great experience with all games and emulators. This card will handle anything you throw at it. I’m very pleased with the solid build, the software, and the low temps. My 1660ti got up to 80c in the same case for reference, though it wasn’t a triple fan design like this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thankfully lacks rgb vomit.
No complaints comes with a support bracket which is a appreciated addition. Had about hapf a year with zero issues. No driver issues. Happy with appearance and performance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don’t be a Team Green sucker. Buy what works.
This is it. If you want the best bang-for-your-buck high-end card in the current gen, this right here is the one to buy. Anything else is either inferior performance or grossly overpriced. After running nVidia’s swan song, the GTX 1080 Ti, from mid-2017 until November of 2023, it was time for an upgrade, and looking at the market there was (and still is) absolutely no WAY I was going to pay nVidia’s absurd prices for the garbage they’re trying to hock now. Almost an entire year to release a 4070 Ti with more than 12 GB of VRAM, when I was already running 11GB since 2017? For $800? Lose my number, nVidia.Snarky complaints aside, I don’t upgrade my card often so I needed something that would hold me for another several years, and boy howdy so far this has been it. I am once again running EVERYTHING at 60fps, in 4k, at max settings. No leaning on the FSR crutch; if I wanted an upscaling cheat I would just send it at 1080p to my TV and let it handle the rest. I used to not care much about VRAM, but in this day & age you really do need 12-16 minimum to keep your performance smooth at high quality settings, so having 20GB at my disposal makes this card feel pretty solidly future-proof.Build quality is great, noise levels are great, temperatures are great, stability is great. I have literally not had a single issue with this card, other than one single game from 2009 (Burnout: Paradise) which I had to drop down to 1080p because the decade-old rendering engine would crash in 4k during certain camera sequences. Not much of a loss considering that game was made for the 1080p era anyway. Be advised, I did absolutely use DDU to make sure the install was as clean as possible; whether that’s the reason the drivers have been so stable, or whether it’s because AMD’s drivers just work fine nowadays, I can’t honestly say. Personal favorite feature: being able to toggle EyeFinity on and off with the click of a single button, to get that immersive 5760×1080 triple-monitor wraparound for games like War Thunder. Let me tell you, doing the same thing in nVidia Surround was a MAJOR pain.As previously mentioned, I got this card in early November 2023. It’s now early May 2024, and I still have zero problems and zero regrets. I cannot recommend it enough; this IS the card you want, if you’re looking for high-end performance at a reasonable price. Happy gaming.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing performance
The GPU can run anything at 1440p and even 4k at ease. Very fast. I had some issues figuring out AMD drivers and its software, but after learning, it is 10x better than nvidia’s GeForce experience. It is a bulky card. No issues with drivers. Don’t listen to all the horror stories. This card is worth it. It stays under 75C at 100% load. no lighting whatsoever but I’m not complaining since this is one of the cheapest 7900xts.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic GPU, but has excessive coil whine under some loads.
First, the 7900XT at $700 or less is a great deal in today’s climate. It is a powerful card with loads of VRAM, and when kept at reasonable clocks and power limits, is quite energy efficient. The Rasterization performance is fantastic and will more than satisfy most gamer’s needs!Sure, Nvidia has better Ray Tracing and DLSS is generally better than FSR. However, if you don’t use either of these technologies, as I do not, then it doesn’t matter, and this is the superior card. I’ll be interested in Ray Tracing when we can get 100FPS+ 1440p @ Ultra Settings + Path Tracing without Upscaling on sub $1k hardware without ridiculous power consumption. For now, RT implementations either make no difference, or require other compromises to be made to get acceptable performance. Now, it hasn’t been all sunshine and roses. When I first started using this card, I would sometimes notice stuttering. Turns out, it’s a glitch after alt-tabbing, and disabling the “In-Game Overlay” option in Adrenaline solved this. Just took forever for me to figure out. I even upgraded from my 5800x platform to 7800x3D platform to maximize performance, and it still did it. Once I disabled this setting, all good. Recent drivers claim to address this problem. The more important problem to me is that of coil whine. I tried two of these cards, and they both had it, and I kept the less noisy of the two. Yes, limiting FPS, clock speeds, voltage, power limit, or some combination there off will help reduce it, but it still at the various least buzzes quite a bit even when these “fixes” are applied. If you go all out, maxing the power budget, 2.7Ghz, etc., the card absolutely flies! But it sounds like a pig is being tortured in my computer case. I generally like building computers as quiet as possible, so these stands out over fan noise and other noise. My old MSI RTX 3070 wasn’t silent either, but it got no where near this 7900XT. Personally, I’ve settled on 2300-2400Mhz, -10 Power Budget, and a Radeon Chill on 120FPS on most games. This gives me the performance I want with very stable FPS (My goal), and only an occasionally noticeable sound effect emitting from the card.I bought an RTX 4080 Super at $1k to maybe replace this card, due to stuttering and coil whine, but I figured out the stuttering (see above) before I received the 4080, so I never tried it and returned. I got the 7900XT for $670, and just had a really hard time justifying the extra $330 Nvidia tax to have just similar rasterization performance. Maybe it would have coil wined less, but people complain about those, too, so IDK.But in conclusion, this is a great card. It runs cool and the fans are quiet, even under a max power limit extended load. And keeping it at lower clocks/power budget only loses 5-15% performance while using 25-40% less power and very cool. If it didn’t Coil Whine, I’d love it. But due to coil whine and some missing features compared to Nvidia, I gotta remove one star.
