Very sturdy
This chair is probably gonna last 20 years but the seat is very firm. Lots of features I love, just wish the seat was a bit softer.

Be sure to check the right size.
Beautiful chair but I bought the wrong size. I ordered a small by mistake. I meant to order the regular. I wish I had ordered the right size. Very expensive blunder on my part.

Best desk chair I’ve ever sat on!
It is a firm seat, but it is so comfortable. I work many hours a day and those hours are spent in my desk chair. This chair never causes me any issues, no longer how long I’ve been sitting.

Sturdy chair
I have broken the last four chairs that I bought. I’m big I have kids they climb on me and things break. So far this thing is holding up fantastic and it’s very comfortable

I use this chair for working on the computer. It had tremendously lessened my neck and shoulder tension. Very comfortable and supportive.

Worthy Investment
Insanely comfortable, can sit on this for hours and still feel great. Could probably also sleep on it if you tried. Tons of adjustments to the armrests, the recline and height.

The Cadillac of Computer Chairs
This chair is crazy expensive, but insanely comfortable! Assembly was pretty easy but it was missing a screw, which was both dissappointing and frustrating (why I give 4 stars). I know what you thinking, a $650 chair and it was missing a screw?!?!? Yes, but remember I said Cadillac (GM) of Computer Chairs and not Mercedes :-). Anyway, support asked a million questions and eventually sent a screw so it was cool to finally finish installing and get to actually use the chair. They even threw in some extra wipes :-0. Overall, feels like a La-Z-Boy like computer chair. Magnetic pillow is brilliant. Bottom line is that while this is a very expensive chair, if you spend a lot of time sitting at the computer, it’s well worth it to get a luxury chair like this to maximize your comfort.

Hard cushion complaints – READ ME
I built this chair quickly and by myself after removing it from the excellent packaging and the reviewing the poster size directions. It was very easy to assemble.Upon sitting in the chair, I thought “oof, this cushion is as hard as everyone says.” Coming from a Herman Miller Aeron for the last 10 years I was looking for a change. The one advantage this chair has over my Aeron is the tilt adjustment. Note this is separate from the recline. Once I tilted the chair rearward slightly and raised the recline, more of the seating pressure was spread across the backs of my thighs instead of straight down into my sit bones and it became VERY comfortable. Like sport bucket seats in a BMW comfort.I ordered this chair direct from SL to save 10% and once the smell airs out a bit I think I will be 100% happy with this chair.

Easy Assembly & Comfortable
I picked up the Team Secret finish in XL size in fake leather. It was surprisingly easy to assemble and well thought out design. The video instructions are superb and you wont break a sweat. Once assembled there is also a video on how to use the chair including adjusting lumbar settings. The XL is perfect, I’m 181 cm 240lb and it fits well, feet easily plant, and there is room for much taller or heavier individuals as needed. Seat depth is perfrct for me. The material looks and feels nice, the magnetic headrest stays on well, and the chair is well balanced allowing you to basically lay back in the chair. The stitching is not perfect, middling stitching quality at best, but nothing that is a deal breaker, but detracts from the aesthetic for those with a keen eye and expecting perfection. Not worth taking off a star, but something to be aware of. Overall I think this will be a great chair for years to come.

DELIVERY TOO SLOW WHEELS A SCAM
…Chair left from Tennessee went to Utah, then to Colorado, then to Arizona then to Oklahoma, back to Tennessee, then to Georgia then to Florida….Called them out on it and they had some lame excuse! Not being used for a gaming chair just a computer chair! The wheels are a scam…as they sell the real deal wheels, but they’re not standard stem size, which is part of their get over…Look at the high cost of the chair worth about half the price they should have thrown in their real deal wheels…that, by the way are $60 bucks…not again, ever! just putting’ out there, form your own opinion

After about a month it gets wobbly and squeaky
I really do like the chair but the build quality for such an expensive product is really lackluster. Lean forward and it clunks. Lean back again and it clunks in the other direction. Rearrange yourself in the chair and it squeaks… and this is AFTER what I would consider and adequate break in period. As for the chair, the seat is really firm which for me is good. The back doesn’t go back 90 degrees but it does go back far enough to be really comfy. The magnetic features including the headrest pillow are top notch with super strong magnets. If it wasn’t for the wobble and squeak, this would be the perfect chair. Maybe I just got one made on a Friday as it doesn’t seem like my friends have the same issue with their Secret Lab chairs.

Gamer Chair You’re Looking For
Truth: Serious gamers can log serious time in their chair. Highly recommend paying up to get a quailty chair that will be comfortable, provide good support, and last. I’ve gone through a couple of the basic $150’ish gamer chairs that started coming apart after 1-2 years.I’ve never commented on product packaging, but you will be impressed. Instructions were clear and easy to follow – pretty creative assembly actually. My daughter and I put it together in probably 30 mins.

Awesome Yet Expensive
It’s a great chair, excellent quality materials! But the brand name alone makes it very expensive! It’ll be a while for my finances to recuperate before I can afford another chair like this.

Great parts but not very comfortable for those with sensitive lower backs/coccyx.
3 stars for the ease of construction and quality packaging/parts. I was very impressed by this. I love the magnetic headrest. However, this is not a chair I would recommend for anyone who has a problem with lower back pain. The chair does not offer proper support for the coccyx/tailbone and the cushions are very hard.I’ve had to order memory foam cushions for the seat and my lower back so that I can sit in this chair for long periods of time without experiencing pain in my coccyx and lower back areas.I imagine this chair is great for many, but for those like me who need a little extra support in the lower back and tailbone areas, do your wallet a favor and look elsewhere.

Great chair in every way
Packaged very well, none of the parts were damaged at all, and all were included, a few with backups. Relatively easy to put together. The adjustments are very detailed. The detail in the finish is amazing. It’s definitely a lot of money for a chair, but if you are looking to spend this much I wouldn’t get anything else.

High quality build
This chair is INCREDIBLE when it comes to build quality. It’s so sturdy and the materials are all great, it has definitely earned it’s highly rated reviews. My only complaint is that I wish it had a little more cushion in the seat, but that is nitpicking.

Happy Hubby!
As a gamer, I am very happy that I purchased this chair as a gift for my husband. He spends his butt on the chair almost 90 percent of the time when not at work 😁😘. The chair is very comfortable, and it is adjustable. The shipping was fast and assembling it was very easy, he said. Also, this chair is good for no more 220 lbs human beings.

Excellent lumbar support
I use this chair for work and also for gaming, so I sit in it a lot. I am getting older, and have back trouble like most people my age. This chair is far more comfortable than the Staples chair it is replacing. It is heavy, the hardest part about getting this chair was getting downstairs to my office. I have seen several comments about needing 2 people for assembly. I am 63 years old and have arthritis, and I had no trouble at all assembling this myself. It only took about 10 minutes or so. Highly recommended.

Nice series especially if purchased at discount.
easy to assembly extremely well packed even UPS is challenged to damage it in shipping. only nag is i wish the seat was held to the base by more than its own weight and gravity and I wish it was half the cost. Still cant really go wrong if you buy on sale should last for years (acts of cat not withstanding)

Quality
First impression: Very well packaged. Wonderful assembly instructions. Easy to assemble, approximately 30 minutes. Sitting: seat cushion seems a bit firm, although still comfortable, and will probably last many years before collapsing. The chair has the look and feel of well-built quality and is likely the last gaming chair that I’ll ever have to buy. Pricey, but worth it.

Expensive comfort!
High price, but from opening the box, through assembly, and finally sitting on it you can tell there’s quality. The chair is firm, but to me it is comfy. It’s not a chair you sit and sink into. I love the high back, the neck pillow, and the lumbar. Chair adjusts just how I need it. Full metal base is solid. My only complaint would be the somewhat flimsy (in comparison to the rest of the chair) feeling adjustable levers under the chair.

Amazing…after you learn how to
It’s fairly easy to set it up, although it’s much easier with two people. And be sure to look over the instructions on how to operate the chair height, lumbar support, etc. It’s amazing once you find out your spot.

Well built and comfortable
The packaging and instructions and toolset were very well organized. I loved that it leverages magnets to snap on armrests and very smart design. My wife said the seat is a little firm to her liking (likely for longevity) so she may add a memory foam cushion as well, but overall happy with quality, adjustability, and looks.

Proper Posture
Pros: Chair overall is high quality. Assembly is very easy. The magnetic pillow stays put and is very comfortable. Seat is firm but not hard and conforms after a few days to your body. Lumbar support is very good adjustment is nice. Backrest is hard at first, if you are used to a very soft chair and most likely bad posture the chair may hurt your back as you adjust to sitting properlyCons: My backrest came with crooked logo stitching. After a week the lumbar support has begun to pop loudly and creak when I sit against it. It does not effect the functionality or comfort of the chair but is very annoying and worries me for longevity. The height adjustment knob also came with cosmetic damage. I have contacted Secretlab support and I am waiting to hear back. For the price things like this shouldn’t be an issue.Updated Sept 2022:SecretLab support responded and after verifying my various issues they shipped me a replacement backrest. I don’t know if the first one was just defective or old stock from a previous revision but the replacement’s foam is much softer and the lumbar support seems to actually move up and down where previously it felt as if it barely moved which I thought was just how it was designed. The stitching is also perfect. One defect is the threads in one of the mounting holes was damaged and took some effort to install. Everything else is good and the chair is more comfortable than it was before.

Quality from packing, to assembly, to use.
This company not only makes a well-designed chair, but spent a lot of time on fit and finish, including the assembly experience. I’ll be honest, I was confused at first that the chair shipped with the back supports extended, but when I got the back and bottom assembled and it was time to put the rollers onto the chair, that’s when I realized the genius of the setup. Most chairs will have you precariously balancing the seat on top of a highly mobile rolling base; not so SecretLab. Because the seat is assembled with the back extended, you place the chair upside down and put the base on it–stable and secure. That’s just an example of the quality of the assembly process; the instruction card with images large enough to be placed at a distance but still be readable, the small pieces in separate boxes depending on assembly step, etc. all speak to a dedication to quality. That quality extends to the chair itself, but multiple reviews have been written on that already. All I feel I need to say there is that they’re correct–this is an amazing chair that I expect to get significant use of for a long time.

Awesome chair… but wait for a sale.
Pros: This chair has everything you could want in an XL chair built for big boys, whether that’s tall or wide for you. It has all the bells and whistles as some would say. The arm rest move in every way possible to adjust for your comfort. The chair reclines and has back support. Even the magnetic head pillow is extremely comfortable and it sits a little taller than most chairs so it’s just perfect for me.Building this chair was extremely easy! Another huge pro for it. Right out of the box it feels like you bought a premium item that with the help of a giant poster I was able to slap together in less then 10-15 min.Cons: The damn thing is way overpriced in my opinion.. while I love my new chair and it’s definitely checking all the boxes for me… 700+ after tax is way too much for a chair. At least for me, I can’t justify anyone spending that much on something to sit on unless you have money to burn like that. I mean you could literally buy a brand new console and a cheap TV for that price.. or you can have a chair. Choice is up to you. I would recommend waiting for a sale, unless you can’t.Will you be happy with this chair? Yes I believe so.Will you hate yourself a little for spending so much on it. Maybe a little. But you’ll eventually forget and you’ll be happy in a very sturdy comfortable chair.Happy gaming!

You have to get used to it.
When I first sat in this chair, I hated it. Now hear me out, it takes like 20 minutes or so to put it together. After I paid the crazy high price for this and put a lot of work into building it I wanted to love it immediately. I didn’t. I sat down and immediately hated how it felt. It felt like a wooden seat in comparison to my older chair. But after using it for over a week I began to like it more and more. It’s not memory foam, it’s firm. Which is good! It works really well as a chair. It’s what it needs to be. Some people use this once and hate it and get rid of it. You have to get used to it. I was not gonna be able to package this up to return it so maybe I’m compensating for the price I paid by just getting used to it? Either way 60+ hours sitting in it so far and I like it. Amazing build quality. Wish it were cheaper though.

Bought this to work from home, noticed the boxes were a little damaged
So the package was delivered to me w/signature pretty early in the morning. It took me about an hour to set everything up, and that was mostly just finding the correct part to put. It was extremely easy and seamless. One thing I did notice is that most of the packaging had damage in some way. It looks like it’s been opened and retaped. Thankfully none of the parts themselves show any form of damage. I will knock off a point though, a LOT Of the inside boxes were dented which gave me the impression this isn’t new.Once I finished setting up and sat down, I noticed that the seat base is just way too wide for me. I’m a tall but skinny guy so I imagine for most people it’d be fine. I just find that resting my arms on both rests at the same time feels a bit distant. No big deal.Honestly, I keep comparing this to my $14 walmart chair and ask myself “would I pay 42 times to price of this walmart chair for a $600 secretlab chair?” and I find the answer to be “no.”It’s definitely way more comfortable than that $14 chair, but I think I would rather own 42 walmart folding chairs. Not sure what I would do with them, but I think it’d be better value than having one of these secretlab chairs.Don’t get me wrong, the chair feels nice, but does it feel $600 nice? Not at all. Especially considering that we are paying an extra $100 to buy through here than direct through their website. Also, the included magnetic pillow is kinda flimsy. Like it will slide down all the time when I put it against the headrest area. i have to keep adjusting it by pulling it up a bit, but then it’ll slide down again. So eh, I might just take it off and not use it.Overall, I think 4 stars is fair. It is a very high quality item for sure, but my perspective finds it really hard to justify this purchase. That could be $580 in groceries and a $14 chair!
