Great sound, can adjust sound through phone app

I really like the ability to play music through my phone and be able to hear my game audio all at once. The mic sounds good, from what my friends have relayed, and the EQ is fun to play with. Noise cancelling isn’t the best. I live next to a fire station so I still hear the sirens and dog howls, but it blocks other sounds and other white noise. The bass is really good, and the different and many settings for mic and sound are really useful. The battery life is modest, I game for hours so I only switch them out after every 2-3 gaming sessions. They have yet to die on me. My one complaint, if there’s any, would have to be the fact that it’s a heavy headset. The top of my head will get sore quick and I needed to buy some headset padding for the head rest. And I also need to wear a hat or thick beanie so it doesn’t hurt. It’s a big headset and I look like a baby when I wear it, but it’s size may be due to it’s great performance for a wireless gaming set. Also, I don’t have a very large head, so it emphasizes my small head size.

Amazing headset for frist person shooters

This headset is perfect for me. 90% of the games i play are first person shooters and this headset does an amazing job with them, especially boots on the ground shooters like MW3 and R6. It also sounds great in other games too but im sure there are probably better headsets for that, but as far as first person shooters go theres nothing quite like it. Mic is good, noise canceling is great, noise gate is great, and sound is amazing (especially footsteps), dual battery is awesome, and customization is great. Also i hear a lot of complaints from people that im just not feeling the same way about. People are saying the chat audio is too quiet but i have never had a problem (and the game/chat mix works well too so its a fixable problem if it is a problem at all). And i also hear a lot of people saying the superhuman hearing is terrible and “distorts the audio.” I could maybe see that when it is turned all the way up (which obviously it will distort slightly at that volume) but that 30-50 percent range seems to work great for me.ONE THING I DID NOT LIKE.One thing that could have been better for me were the ear cushions. They were a bit uncomfortable since the headset has a fairly high clamp force around your head. This was easily fixed with wicked cushions though and now i have zero complaints.

Sound cancelling is alright, but works better than expected.

Soon as I got them in the first thing I did was test out the noise cancelling. Mainly got it to hide the tower fan noise which is just enough to be annoying when playing a game where listening for footsteps is important. It does that job better than I expected given how mediocre the noise cancelling is. It doesn’t even come close to my airpod pro IIs and is way far away from the airpod maxs for noise cancelling. It’s still such a huge improvement over not having it that I am happy. I also really wanted the dual audio support as I use it a lot with my old headset. One minor annoyance but has turned out alright, is that the volume control only does one device. So if I control game volume, I then can’t control Bluetooth volume and vice versa. So I have it set to game volume and then adjust Bluetooth with my Bluetooth device. So far has been fine but could see where it had the potential to be a problem. My biggest complaint, and this appears to be a turtle beach issue as I’ve had this across multiple headsets, is that when you mute the mic it makes a quick noise in game. This is awful in some games, like hunt showdown, where being radio silent can be important and you just want to mute your mic because you forgot to from last match or what have you.

They reduce noise well. Audio Q nice. Needs independent game chat volume.

The amount of extra sounds you hear is nuts. Even playing nhl. Playing the last of us pt2 was a game changer. Dont even get me started on warzone or arc

Stealth pro Is Definitely Worth Every Penny!

I’m not sure if the negative reviews are for the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro headset or something else entirely. I didn’t find anything negative that those reviews mentioned to be a issue at all. That’s what makes me feel like those reviews are for other products that Turtle Beach also sells.I almost didn’t buy these because of the handful of negative reviews. What convinced me to give them a try was these were the only headset that had all the features I was looking for so I decided to give them a try because I could always send them back if I didn’t like them. There’s not a lot of reviews or info out there on these because their so new and even though the quick start guide will get you up and running quickly you’ll have to do a little searching on the Turtle Beach website for how to use the Stealth Pro headset features that are available. I download the ISO app onto my iPhone and found it easy to use. Even though I also use these for work directly connected to my PC and I’m literally on the phone for 90% of the work day wearing theses headphones I haven’t used the software that can be downloaded and installed on your Windows or Mac system because I’m able to do everything from the app on my iPhone successfully. As far as manufacturing quality goes these headsets are made with very high quality materials. This is not a cheaply made product. They spent some money on manufacturing a sturdy headset when they put together the Stealth Pro.So far I’ve been using the Stealth Pro headset for gaming, listening to music, and also mainly for work. I like being able to listen to music at a very low level when I’m on a call as well as the mic monitoring feature so that I can hear myself. Although I do think they should increase the volume a little more for mic monitoring so I could hear myself more then what’s currently available at full volume. But with that said the current mic monitoring volume level is something that I can work with but will still be a benefit to increase that volume level for people with a softer sounding voice. This is literally the only negative thing I have to say about this headset.I’ve also found that I can easily wear these for over 8 hours at a time with very little discomfort even though I wear glasses. The ear cup fully covers the entire ear so there’s nothing pressing on your ear that will eventually become uncomfortable. The soft leather pads are very comfortable even with glasses on all day.The battery seems to last a lot longer then what they specify in the manual which is nice. If you can afford making the investment to experience these awesome headphones I would definitely recommend them as I’ve found them to be much better then anything else that’s similar by Bose or Apple. These headphones even put Sony into check. With the Stealth Pro headphones you get a heck of a lot more features as well as a overall much higher quality performing product that’s also very sturdy and not cheaply made. You definitely can’t say that about Bose or Apple that’s for sure.

    Worth every penny

Absolutely amazing. People complaining about not having good sound either haven’t messed with the settings or don’t understand how eq adjustment works. With that said if you got the money for them and are a daily gamer they are well worth it. It’s a little inconvenient always needing to use the app on your phone but once you dial in settings they really sound amazing… footsteps/audio cues aver very distinctive and pin point direction in fps.. tho iv had to mess with eq settings for game specific to really bring out the wanted sounds. Mic could honestly be a bit better but sound alot better than most and is great at blocking background noise.. the noise canceling is pretty effective if your in a noise home. It blocks out my ac unit and kids playing fairly well. I wish the mic was a bit sleeker and not look like a fm antenna lol. N the built in mics according to my friends sounds horrible so definitely recommend planning to use the boom mic. I personally haven’t had any issues with pairing or connection with xbox or phone. Highly suggest getting dobly atom and recommend using the gaming preset and make sure setting on council or PC are properly changed… all and all these are the most comfortable, detailed sound(iv heard sound iv never heard before in games I’ve played for years), alot of settings/options, comfortable with glasses even with the lil extra clamping force these have(are a bit tight) but still super comfortable. I don’t really notice the weight. That was one of my original concerns but not anymore. Battery life should of definitely of been better but i haven’t needed to change out batteries during a gaming n I tend to game upwards or 8hours a day. Just remember to swap batteries before calling it quits for the night. Worse casescenarioyou have the abilityto charge and play with the usb/c that comes with one is like 2 ft the other is like 6ft. Fast charge times. I didn’t like the buttons on the right side or the size of the volume wheel but it’s grown on me it’s easy and convenient for a quick spin to get desired volume. To conclude if your just a 1 or 2 day gamer you might find all the setting and adjustments overwhelming and just not necessary. But if you are looking to step up your ability to pinpoint enemies and get the drop on them by hearing every step/wepon swap/reload/ and any other audio cue a game may have than these are definitely worth it. Messing with the eq settings and dialing them in for every game is a must in my opinion. Tho it can be a pain if you dont have much experience with eq frequency adjustments, once you hit those sweet spots and figure it out you’ll find yourself easily predicting your enemies next move with ease and be getting death comms/messages demanding how you knew where they were/accused of cheating in no time. Hands down absolutely the best on the market at the moment for councils

    Fun+Capable Driver+Imaging

These were exactly what I’m looking for in a headset. I’ve always been a sucker for the 700 Stealth and Stealth Gen 2, but head clamp and build quality were an issue with those. Technical issues with the Gen 2 abounded also, as well as some annoying connection issues at times. The Stealth Pro is NOT a fancier 700. The bass isn’t quite as boomy, and the driver feels very capable, even for music. It’s not as sharp as some of the higher end headphones you can buy, but it does hold its own with some of the “mid-fi” tier of headphones. It’s not as good for music as the Audeze Maxwell (which is a marvel for music specifically), but it absolutely does image better than the Maxwell. Footsteps are very easy to pinpoint, but the Stealth Pro manages it without sacrificing the fun. This is a sound profile that makes gaming (or movies) and event, which is something the best Turtle beach sets have always been able to do.ANC on this is good. Not quite as good as what the best Bose or Sony can offer, but very respectable for a gaming headset. I found the clamp, overall comfort and ear warmth to be better across the board than the Stealth 700 Gen 2. This is a very comfortable headset.Edit after 4 months: Turtle Beach has been continually updating the firmware to iron out most, if not all of the earlier complaints directed at this headset. The clamp takes very little time to loosen to a comfortable “sweet spot,” so don’t let initial clamp force dissuade you from giving it a chance.

Sounds good but has a phew problems

This thing sounds amazing. It has great bass and being able to listen to Bluetooth from my phone while connected to my pc or PlayStation is awesome and really convenient. The mic sounds really good for a headset. The noise cancelation is really good too. But it does have a couple kinks. First off the by far the most annoying part about the headset is the voice lines telling you Bluetooth is connected and the battery level. ITS SOOO LOUD!!!! I don’t know why its so dang loud for no reason. every time i turn it on “Bluetooth connected battery level high” and i feel like my eardrums have been ruptured. I tried turning it off through the EQ tuner but no luck. Another kink is that the Bluetooth audio can get a bit distorted, it doesn’t happen often and only last a second or two but it does happen. Also for whatever reason all audio gets distorted if i accept a phone call while Bluetooth is connected and use the headset for the call, and it wont stop unless I restart the headset. Another thing is that if the headset is on and connected to my phone before turning on my pc i have a hard time getting audio to play from my pc. My pc will show its connected but i just cant hear anything. the only way to fix that is to turn both off and make sure i turn my pc on first before the headset. None of these are deal breakers, except maybe my damaged ears, Its just a bit disappointing for how expensive this thing is. I can still recommend but i bet you could find a headset just as good but cheaper.

    Pricey but performant

Yes, these are expensive, but they provide value for money.Sound quality is very good, close to high-end Sony headphones with plenty of bass response. The active noise cancelling works, but not nearly as well as, say, Sony XM or Apple AirPods Pro ANC. Still, it will take the edge off background noise. The ability to mix a Bluetooth source with game audio is wonderful. It’s slightly handicapped by the lack of controls on the headphones themselves; too few buttons are tasked to do too many things. You can use the phone app for better control. The spare battery is great, and battery life is good. The microphone is good quality, and doesn’t pick up much ambient noise. You’ll need a PC or a Mac to update the firmware on the base station and headphones before use.Sadly, there’s no way to turn off the blinking lights on the base unit. If you switch between headphones and room audio, you’re gonna have the base unit pulsing red and green when the headphones are off. It’s annoying, but that’s the biggest down side to this unit.

    It’s good but the price

The media could not be loaded.

All right first thing I don’t think it’s worth the money I did have some connection issues but I updated it and I seem to work have not had any more issues since then I love the pair but it is definitely not worth its money for $350 it should be flawless but the headphones the padding that originally came with in my ears really sweat I have a simulator and it makes me sweat a lot so I had to replace them ever since then they’ve been really good I did a lot of research before I bought them on YouTube with other people’s reviews to help me make a choice if I think it was worth it for me it was simply cuz my old pair broke and I knew what I didn’t like and liked everything that I like about my other ones this one improved on but if you have a PC there’s definitely better ones out there but for Xbox this one’s a pretty good choice but I definitely do not think it’s worth the price for $300 maybe for $250 would be great but for $350 no if you were going to just try it definitely make sure you be able to return it overall I like it for me but due to research figure out what works for you there’s other pairs out there that will work for other people but this one works for me everything it says it’s advertised but the price

    Great Headset

This headset is easily among the most full featured out there. Active noise cancelling, noise gate, mic sensitivity, the works. All of the settings are accessible in a smartphone app and once you have it set up how you like it no need to use the app you can control main functions from the headset itself. You have the choice of using the included boom mic or internal mic array. The boom allows you to lift to mute and is very good quality. I haven’t bothered with the built in array. The audio quality is outstanding and very customizable. Hot swap batteries are clutch letting you change batteries easily between rounds. A couple minor gripes though. When you have the boom mic attached it gets in the way of the battery swap process. Maybe should have thought that over some more. The other complaint is that the headset takes a very long time to boot up and connect with the base and audio. Probably close to 20 seconds. Compared with my Bose QC35s that power on and pair in seconds. Relatively minor with how awesome the other features are. All that said if you are looking for a great all around headset this might be for you. YMMV

    Stealth pro headset

It worked great for about a year great quality but after a year started getting rattling in one side when the volume was to high. The top head rest started to come undone to. had to use super glue to hold it together. If you’re gonna buy it get a warranty for sure. Still one of the best headsets I’ve ever had and great for playing music and gaming with.

my old T.B. stealth 700 were getting OLD. These are the NEW replacements. T.B. has got to be one of the best out. I like the S.H.H., I play COD.. all of them! and the S.H.H. is GREAT. I bought the STEALTH PRO’s this time. Just like always, exactly what I wanted.

Turtle Beach stepped up their game.

I’ll be honest, after having two TB headsets break within six months about five years ago I wasn’t ever planning on buying another of their offerings. Then I saw this monster of a headset and I jumped back onboard the TB hype train. I’ve only been able to mess with this beast for a few hours but this headset is nothing short of amazing. If feels very well built and the sound is next level. The EQ was great out of the box but the program to tweak it is so easy and well made I feel like I just bought a $1000 high end Audeze or Bose wired set. Bravo to Turtle Beach and my only concern is weather it will stand the test of time or not. I’ll update this review in six months and then again at a year. As others have mentioned this things only negative is it definitely collects hair and fingerprints big time but it’s not hard to clean it with a microfiber cloth. On a side note I will definitely be getting some after market earpads from wicked cushions in a few months when they release them. The pads that come with this set are great but I prefer the more cloth like pads.

    Very Nice Headset

I am used to Steel Series because their customer service is fantastic. I have also had Astro A50s that were good, but because of their customer service I never bought another one.Turtle Beach have been around for a while and my other headset which was of 7 years old, made me search for a comfortable headset that had a swappable battery. This headset is something comfortable, with it’s own phone app that is very easy to set up and use. The simplicity of the app along with the ease of use on systems and consoles is something I have been looking for.The noise cancelling is spot on and my voice is deep and clear to whoever I talk to.This is one of the best headsets I have ever used. And as far as battery life goes….I swap the battery out every 3 days…..so it lasts.

    Great sound

I had owned the gen 2 700 max for some time and it worked amazing and had decided to get this one. I gotten the Xbox version so I can use it for both my pc and when I play Xbox with some friends am able to hear them and play. Def a great headset and the sound quality is so good! I love that you can adjust the bass, treble and vocal all in the turtle beach app on desktop. I also love the swapped batteries and they’re great to have and I do hope in the future they can make replacements for the battery’s as they will eventually not last 12 hours each. My favorite thing about it has to be that if one battery dies you can get the other one and always have one charging at once

    Amazing

I got these for my son for Christmas & they are absolutely amazing! He LOVES them soooooooo much! He’s a gamer & he said they are the BEST ones he’s ever had!!!!! I know the price might scare people away but I’m here to tell you from yearssssss of experience … Don’t just look at the price and get the cheapest ones. I only wish I would have known this sooner because I would have saved so much money instead of always getting $60 ones all the time no joke but also I’m not here to say get the most expensive ones but what I am here to say is I highly, highly, highly recommend this product!!!!!!!

    Great headset

Have been a long time Turtle Beach headset user, and this is my 3rd set in 15 years. Having swappable batteries is pretty awesome for when I forget to charge the headset too. The one thing I’m a little thrown off by is needing the app to adjust the volume settings between game and chat audio. Other than that I have no regrets.

Best Headset on the Market for Xbox Series X!

Sound, connectivity/distance, Bluetooth and more! I’m blown away by these. I had the SteelSeries 9X before but I couldn’t walk anywhere without those disconnecting and then if I was near my iPhone or too close to my soundbar it would try to reconnect again. These no issues. I literally walked from one part of the apartment to the other to use the bathroom and I was still connected. Noise canceling is great! The mic cancels unwanted noises in the background too. You do get a little feedback from talking to hear yourself but I love it. They are expensive but the quality is the absolute best. What for a sale or try to by them used. I got mine for $260 “used”. I found gold. Hopefully, you will too!

    A Great all around Headset.

Its been a while since i’m own a turtle beach headset my last headset was a 700 gen max 2 but thats a story for another time, anyways to the point the stealth pro for me it is as advertise and and is near perfect for me at least i recommend it if you really want a premium headset and have the apropiate budget for it. Aside from that the only minor con can be mic but like i said minor in my case.

    Nice

This is the nicest headset I have ever had. I have always liked Turtle Beach stuff, I just finally decided to splurge with this one. My gaming friends had been urging me to get a wireless headset, because my old on was having crackling and feedback issues. All of that has been resolved now with this headset. The user manual could be a little more explanatory about how to do things. I think they assume that you already know how wireless headsets work if you are paying this much for one. This is my first one though, so I didn’t know that the little charging disc/transmitter had to be plugged into my xBox for the headset to pick up any sound. The manual did not clreary explain that. One of my gaming friends helped me figure that out.My other issue is that I have no access to the app. I downloaded it onto my PC, but it doesn’t work. I just get a big black screen with the Turtle Beach logo on it. I can’t open it up to do anything with it at all. Turtle Beach was not help at all. They said just to reinstall it. That didn’t work. So, I have no access to the fine tuning of the equalizers on the app. I think if i did, I would be able to fix an issue I have with self feedback. Both the built in mic and the wand mic are active. I don’t know how to turn off the built in mic, so I’m getting a sort of “metallic tunnel” effect with my voice. A bit annoying, but I can live with it.So, Turtle Beach, get your act together and make user manuals that explain everything more clearly for dummies like me.

    Overall a great headset but…

Overall this headset is great I love it sound is good, the mic is detachable, it performs well, it can be a little bulky, for example if you lean your head back it has a tendency to want to slide of your head. I don’t know if it worth the $330 price tag I paid maybe pick it up when its on sale. i noticed the top band came apart about a week ago.. and have had them since 6/24/23, but for me not a deal breaker but its there non the less.. maybe if the made the same headset but with a fabric type material it may be better? As far as the app and the transmitter go I have had any issues with those, battery life is also not an issue as you use one while other is charging so little downtime there. Overall i think its a great headset just the price tag and the headband would be the issue/s I could some people having.

    Awesome! All the way around.

tldr at the bottom.I could rave about the good things about this thing forever, but I’m sure you’ll hear about him, cuz they’re really excellent at what they do. Well. As far as what they don’t do. Well I’m sure that’s all what you want to know. They gripped your head a little bit too much and I think that might be because they’re too heavy, but prolonged wear puts pressure around my ears on my head in a way that I don’t quite like. I thought maybe because they were new. They were just tight or something but I’m not sure how they would fix this because I’m sure they need to be this heavy to actually get the sound quality that you get from these things, but they just have a weird way of putting pressure on my head. That makes me not want to have them on my head for too long. So when it comes to me wanting to have good sound I’ll put them on. But if I’m playing games for a long time, I’m just using the soundbar and foregoing that because I don’t want a headache. While that does seem like a huge thing, I still can wear these for hours on end. Just not like all day.Tldr, they’re great if you’re going to wear them all day, as in like for more than 4 hours, they might hurt your head. Other than that, everything is fan freakingtastic.

    Best I’ve used

I have been using these for a little over a year and I love them. I had purchased the Audeze Maxwell’s which were also amazing but for the gaming I do I chose these because of the super human hearing. Also its got a great EQ so you can adjust as needed.

Great sound, OK noise cancelling, crap feature of not keeping settings every time they power off

What I love:I love the sound. They fit my big head very comfortably, I never have to take them off, even after hours of playing. They have connected to all of my devices easily…sort of.I have not experienced any delay or sound issues.Wireless range has been stellar…I can go into other rooms 35+ feet away with no issues. What I hate:I hate the fact that I have to get out my phone, open the Audio Hub app and turn OFF the mic monitoring every time I power them up. They always default to Mic Monitoring ON…and loud monitoring at that…defeats the whole purpose of noise cancelling when the mic is piping in the ambient sounds of my house. For some reason I cannot get the Audio Hub on my main PC to detect them. The PC does push the audio to the headphones though. I have to use another PC, both are Windows 11 Pro to connect the audio hub app to update firmware.I only use the bult in mic to talk on the phone…not really a big online gamer and don’t use the big mic…did I say they don’t keep the settings after every power down? This issue seems to go back a few years and models and still hasn’t been fixed.TLDR: Really good sounding wireless headphones with some annoying software bugs. They should be $200….I over paid. Fix the firmware and the price would be much more palatable.

    Stealth pro

First time buying an expensive head set & the highest option you can say. So i expected for them to work really good, since i had connectivity issue with my old turtle a40 ones. I expected a nice conection. So all i have do it connect to xbox, pair them for the first time between module & headser. Sound can be adjusted to your liking, volume levels could be a bit more set, like takes few more spins to lower it but imo you can find a better spot without going down or high to fast. App is easy to use & i get to receive calls on it too, then when call ends, it goss back to the game. Batteries lasted like 4 days (the one that came inside the headset) marked 75% on app. Easy to change as well. Only thing i notice is mayve the noise cancelling not working or maybe my phone is outdate s9+ & i didnt do it right lol, but you can bearly hear anything anyways lol even music sounds goodI like it so far!

Great but they over complicated it

Amazing quality, but you need an app and a bunch of other “know how” to make the thing work, wish it had a game volume and a chat volume like the models before it, also bought this because the head band on it is metal instead of cheap flimsy plastic which is a must for these headsets.

Comfortable – Good Sound – QOL Issues

These headphones are comfortable for extended wear and have really good sound quality. It does have some quality of life issues.Pros:- Great sound quality- Good range on 2.5GHz connection- Flip to mute microphone function is nice- Dual input from 2.5GHz and Bluetooth works well- Active Noise Cancellation is very effective- These are comfortable to wear with glasses and do not hurt my ears.Cons:- If the 2.5GHz connection is lost or terminated, the headphones shut down dropping active Bluetooth connections. And yes, I have dropped calls turning off work computer while on BT call.- All settings for headphones are lost when changing out the battery. The headphones do not retain the settings and the PC/iPhone software only reflects the current settings. There is no way to save settings to reapply after battery swap.- The leatherette cups are hot and uncomfortable, you may want to consider replacing them.

    Good headset

Very good headset. Husband loves it but it keeps turning xbox on. Like it’s listening but it’s muted and turned off and every time we put a show on it turns tv to the Xbox. So we have to take the battery out. But other than that its a very good headset.
