Garbo memory
I have the one x and now the series s… I can honestly say the only difference is a slight load time and some slight graphic menus on games.. the one x has a 1tb hard drive and a disk drive. The series S only has a 500gb hard drive but it goes down to 380 when you boot up the console …I see no reason to get the series S over the one x…just wait and get the series X

came in box, all wrapped up seemed like it was completely new, great so far
Very happy as I wasnt sure what to expect getting something refurbished. If I didn’t know it was refurbished I would have no idea I wasnt opening a totally new unit. It was wrapped as a totally unoponed thing with the white foam stuff, and looked like a pristine, unopened, new unit. Not a scratch that I can see. Works perfectly fine as well….very happy.

Bought during prime day
I ordered it for 199 during prime day. I got it the next day and it was pretty good shape. Internally it felt a little hot while playing but overall in decent shape. Came with everything that it needed to. Great little console and glad I went with the renewed. I’ll let you know down the road how it is still doing. Only really use it for a few games I can’t get on pc.

Even just for 4k video playback, it’s great
Note: I got this on sale for $199, which was an even better deal, but even at full price this little machine packs a ton of value, especially if you have Games Pass. We use mainly for 4k video playback and some light gaming, and it’s been remarkable.

Incredible value!
Admittedly, I bought this just for Starfield, but I have been playing Fallout 4 (thanks Oppenheimer!), and I can’t stop thinking about it. The Xbox Series S is one of the most underrated consoles because, by a landslide, it has the most bang-for-your-buck. I have been playing my Nintendo Switch for the last 3 years, but once I started using this, I have been obsessed!Although the library is not as impressive as that of the Switch or PS5, it has actually been good for me because I am spending more time actually PLAYING games rather than contemplating which games to play on my backlog.I do understand that this is not for everyone. I suppose that if you have already been “spoiled” with top-line graphics, this would feel like a downgrade. However, because I bought this for Bethesda games, I could not be happier.Although it might not have the largest library and only slightly inferior graphics than a PS5 (although I don’t notice), this console makes up for those shortcomings with it’s lean performance. Although it does “less,” everything it does is exceptional and meaningful.The only bad thing is that some games did not run properly when I first booted up the console, but after I power-cycled (turn it off for 10 seconds, unplug for 10 seconds, then start it again), everything runs silky smooth.

Happy camper
Bought the gaming system for my nephew. Which I know nothing about lol. All I know is that he wanted an Xbox. Went to the store to purchase a game of his choice to find out this system is digital meaning you can only purchase games online and not the actual disk. Well after a few days of thinking about it, I thought that was the best thing ever! No more lost or scratched games. So now we just go online and purchase all his games and dont have to worry about anything getting scratched or lost. Also, we have access to the gaming store which allows his access to over 100s of kids games that he really enjoys playing. Win win for this aunt!

Great value for the money
I was on the fence between getting the S and X model, but I have no regrets after saving some money. Seems to handle the most intensive games without issue. The only downside is the limited storage and lack of DVD drive, but it’s simple enough to add an external storage drive. If you have a collection of discs from previous Xbox’s, the X series might be the way to go, but outside of that, I don’t see any benefits to the X over the S, even though the specs are lower. Maybe that’ll change as more modern games are released, but I haven’t come across the game this device hasn’t been able to handle.

Console arrived in its own box looking brand new and packaged neatly. Came with everything you need to get started, only complaint was the amount of time it took due to delays. Ordered July 11th, finally arrived the 29th but everything is as shown in the pics and it works great thus far.

Running good so far
It’s running well so far. I had a few minor issues with the ethernet cord not connecting, but restarting the XBOX fixed it every time. I don’t have a great perspective, because this is the only XBOX One S I’ve ever owned, but it was a great price and is working well.

Upon opening the box, it was poorly sealed and the console itself was covered in dust so it wasn’t cleaned as they state in the description. Not sure if it was tested and diagnosed as they say they do but so far it runs smoothly.

Was hesitant on buying refurbished but for $200 on prime day I had no choice. Cheapest way to get into next gen and this thing is honestly amazing. Hasn’t given me any issues yet. Storage on this thing is tight, but what more can you ask for at that price? Definitely stoked on the upgrade.

Besides the outside box being a bit beat up, I would have never guessed the items were refurbished. Came with what I would assume is original packaging and the console and controller looked new. So far has been functioning without a problem. For the price, it is honestly unbeatable in my opinion for value to play current gen.

The media could not be loaded.
The only small issue was a cosmetic one. The usb port looks a little janky like someone pulled out their chord really weird, but it still works and overall the system runs great. No issues of any kind with how it plays. I use it with gamepass and it works really well.

I was a bit hesitant to buy a refurbished gaming system because of the unknown factors. I decided to take the plunge and ordering it, with a mind that I’ll return it if I didn’t like it.Box came in a in excellent condition, with no damages. Clearly stating it was a refurbished Xbox. Then open it and the console was clean with no scratches, or marks. Was like brand new.I’ve played it for a couple of days and so far I have no complaints. So at the moment I am happy with my purchase and not having to pay the full amount of an Xbox series X would cost. I may have been fortunate, and when the next Xbox model comes out and my current console still works I’ll buy the new console (refurbished) from this seller again.

Just got mine yesterday, I was skeptic as first but i still went ahead and bought it as I needed something new to have fun with. It came with the controller, the batteries, the Xbox, the HDMI cable and power cord. So in conclusion in arrived with everything it should have and it works like a charm. I wrote this review because I wanted to help anyone else who was in doubt of this product since it is in fact refurbished. I got this for travel and my office. I have a series x as my main unit and feel that overall storage is low (they have a newer option wiey more) but overall seems to be good for anyone using Game Pass
