    Ergonomic Relief

Easy to set up, and comfortable support, very happy I choose this chair. Breathable mesh material, multiple postuons for back, neck and thoracic support throughout the day.

    Good stuff

For me, it is worth every single dollar spent.Only reservation is the back and lumbar support which sometimes does’nt stay in place when you adjust. The neck, back and seat are really good. The arm rests too.

    100% recommend

So, the price point worried me at first…now that I have it and am sitting in it for times, I am flabbergasted at how comfortable it is! The support is great, headrest is perfect, and the seat/leg rest are properly comfortable. I highly suggest this chair!

    This one just right!

Really nothing bad to say about this chair other than I wish I would have bought it sooner.

UPDATED!!!! Great Chair if you’re deaf!!

The chair itself is made of a nice material and overall very comfortable. However it squeaks constantly… I plan on taking It back apart and getting some rubber washers to try to get it less squeaky.Update—The company reached out to me and sent me a replacement chair. It’s now been a few month and the new chair is quiet. I’ve upped my stars from 3 to 4 due to the companies willingness to do the right thing and the fact this chair doesn’t squeak anymore. I will say that tho that after 3 months some of the parts that are nearly all plastic do get loose… the lumbar support doesn’t always stay put and sometime slides down to the bottom which if your a longer torso person could be annoying. Overall I still think it’s a really good chair. I wouldn’t say five stars but really good, if it was $100 cheaper it would be an amazing value for this chair but at the current price I just can’t see 5 stars.

Perfect for long hours at my desk or gaming

I researched chairs a lot before finally commiting to one. I knew I liked mesh chairs for their ability to keep my cooler when spending hours at a time immersed in a code project. I also know that sometimes I need to recline or stretch out when working.Instead of walking away with my lapt top to move to the couch or bed, I can just pull my keyboard onto my lap, extend the leg supports, and still have the benefit of my two very large monitors that live in my office. My one and only issue with the chair was that it was boring grey. Before I put it together I used painters tape to create a pattern, purple spray paint and assembled after it was dry and the tape was off. The mesh handled the paint well and nor the back, neck rest and seat have a cubed pattern in farily bright purple. It makes me smile when I first enter my office and I’ve had more than one compliment in remote meetings. If you need good lumbar or neck support, or want the option to put your feet up while working-this is a great choice. Its an investment but my body feels much better after a day of work in this chair than it has in any other desk chair I’ve ever used.

A little expensive for the quality of the hardware

Been using this for about a month and so far so good. Incredibly comfortable and all the adjustments are great to tune the right pose you want. My only gripe that stopped this from having a 5 star is the quality of the materials and hardware.I was missing 2 screws to mount the head rest to the chair. The container with all the hardware did not have the right amount and didn’t even have the right screws in the “spares” section. I managed to find spares from another chair I bought a year ago.Another issue is the thread on the bottom of the seat used to attach the entire backrest part. The threading was so bad I wasn’t able to put one of the 3 screws. For the price I expected these issues to be non-existent. Regardless, this is a really good chair. Best one I’ve owned so far so I’ll let these things slide since I found my way out of the issues myself.

    Almost Great

I’ve had this a few weeks now, I upgraded the wheels to some higher scooter style casters. My only major gripe is the lock angles. So sitting straight up is good, it’s slightly forward which really pushes its semi aggressive lumbar support, but the next setting is almost 45 degrees back. It feels like a there’s 1-2 logical steps missing for angle adjustment. You could just leave it unlocked, but then you’ll be getting zero back support. I was tempted to go to 3 stars because while it’s my only issue, it is pretty rough for 8+ hours a day of work to not get that right angle to stay productive.

Back will not stay locked in place

The chair is nice but when I try to adjust the back height, it will not stay locked and just falls back to the lowest level. Breathable and holds good weight (I’m 230 lbs) but this issue makes the chair subpar

    Instant Relief

I work from home so I feel that I am in my chair more than I am not throughout the day. I have been complaining more and more about tech neck. As soon as I sat in this chair (okay- 3/4 hrs later) my muscles fell into a place where they felt they belonged. My back felt less stressed and more apt to sitting up straight. My neck which had been pulling to one side seemed to straighten up a tad with the headrest in proper place.Construction is solid. Very easy to put together.Would highly recommend.

    So, so close…

The chair itself feels great. Has plenty of weight to it, feels nice to sit in. The problem comes after having owned it for a while now. Arm rests that are not able to be tightened, but come loose and wobble back and forth. The back absolutely refuses to stay up, especially if you have it in a reclining position. I’m having to get up and re0adjust the whole thing every half hour at least. This is NOT a cheap chair – use that money to buy one that stays where you leave it.

So far so good!! It may be a keeper…

This is my 2nd Hbada ergo chair since Feb 2021. Previous chair was the Hbada Reclining Office Desk Chair. Loved everything about it except for the foam seat cushion. Bought the Upgraded version (wanted all black). Trying the all mesh this time.Initial thoughts: So far, I love it. Feels heavier/sturdier than my last Hbada (that’s a good thing). It feels more robust.Shipment: Box was is pretty good shape. Moderate damage to box, but received with no issues to report. No damage to any of the well wrapped pieces.Assembly: Arrived today and assembled in less than 30 minutes. It was pretty easy and the instructions were good enough to follow along. Be sure to pay attention to arm rest placement. They are labeled left or right underneath. There is no corresponding label on the chair itself. Assemble with armrests button, facing towards the front of the chair and you should have no problem.Headrest: Headrest is great. It’s large and can be raised/lowered. It actually does rotate which I could not tell initially by the design. Certainly a welcomed feature but not generally used much. Moderate pressure will rotate forward or backwards.Footrest: Feels way better than my previous Hbada. It feels more stout and folds nicely under seat.Armrests: Has really good height adjustments. The Upgraded only raises, but I’m totally fine with that. Wasn’t expecting it to go up as high as it does, but it’s cool. I’m 5’11” (230 lb) and I fit comfortably in the chair. The material of the armrests are a bit firm and not as rounded or cushioned as other models. Seems very durable, but slightly less comfortable. May end up being a little painful depending on pressure and positioning and duration. I can feel it after a while if I end up resting partially on the edges. I don’t mind not having the 3D armrests (Supreme version). The forward and side adjustments didn’t really appeal to me more than the all black version of the Upgraded vs the Supreme. Everything else seems identical.Backrest: Loving the raising backrest attached to the lumber support. Some love it, some hate it. For me it’s great. I’m currently using a desk that I’ve raised up an additional 4 inches using the classic furniture leg hack. It’s perfect for me. The four height adjustments provide ample comfort. I’m currently set to the second or third setting and it fines fine to me.Lumber support: Only adjustments here is raising the entire backrest to one of the four positions which will adjust where the lumber support will sit. The spring in the pressure it provides is definitely good enough for me and I do not feel that additional adjustments are needed. The sides of the lubber support do a very good job in keeping me center in the chair. I can tell they are there, I appreciate them being there, but doesn’t feel overly aggressive.Seat: Still a little worried about the comfort in the seat, but initially switching from the foam to this mesh seat appears to be a great upgrade. Already, I can sit in the chair much longer without feeling any butt fatigue. I just sat for over two hours console gaming and never felt uncomfortable. The mesh is really comfortable and cool. Much better than the foam seat. Very surprised how comfortable it is. It’s a nice mesh curve as oppose to sinking down in a foam seat, only to at some point meet the plastic bottom. This is the sole reason I decided to take a chance on the mesh bottom style chair. The memory foam seems to give a bit too quickly and I soon sink to the bottom. This seat has surpassed my expectations in this regard. Memory foam seats are definitely a no-go for my weight and frame. So glad I took a chance. I’ve always been curious about the mesh seat.Overall seat height: So far it’s good. No issues here. Chair seemed low after initial assembly. But after raising it a little, it’s more than sufficient even for my frame and slightly higher desktop. So far, my only gripe is the cushion in the armrests. Will revise review if anything changes.

    Best chair i’ve ever owned

This chair helped my posture so much! the build quality is very nice and i love being able to put my feet up or sit criss cross when i want to. Slides easy on carpet. This certainly helped me not hunch over while working. Expensive as heck but totally worth every penny. It’s an investment into yourself if you spend a lot of time at your desk.

    Great chair for the money!

I hesitated between this chair and another, much more expensive one. I chose this one because of the breathable lightweight material – mesh. In California, that’s important.Wow! The comfort and support for my back, and the adjustment to my parameters exceeded all expectations. I didn’t expect to get such a cool ergonomic chair for this price. The chair has a wide seat, armrests, shoulder room, adjustable headrest, and back, and leg support.Great ergonomics, overall design, and price! Thanks for a great product at a modest price!

Have a friend help you assemble it

The chair is comfy. I’m around 5’5″ or 5’6″ and overweight, and it fits me great. I imagine anyone very much shorter might find the supports in the wrong place. The footrest is a little bit fiddly, and it sticks out enough that the back of my knees rest against it when I’m not using it, but it’s otherwise perfect. I also am one of those who likes to sit cross-legged and this chair has enough room for that. Assembly was a bit tricky, and we had two reasonably intelligent people working on it.

    Good chair for the price

Just received and assembled this chair a few hours ago. I’ll start by saying I’ve used chairs from $150-$1500, and can say this seems like a good chair for the price. I do notice a few things immediately.1. The armrests are very high, even at the minimum setting. I didn’t see any dimensions on their page, and took a chance.2. Lumbar support may not be for everyone.3. The neck rest adjustments don’t lock in well enough. The great: I’m very happy the company shipped to me. I live on an island, and they were one of the few vendors to ship to me. Thank you!The negatives: The armrests at their lowest setting felt too high, even without a desk. When I rolled it to my desk, the armrests interfere with the slide out tray at 65cm (25.5″) above the floor. At this point, I’m also way too low to be comfortable at the desk itself. My solution was to remove the armrests, which is a bit of a disappointment. I may try to disassemble and alter them to go lower (or live without them). I have an old Steelcase chair, and the armrests go down to ~59cm (23″). If these armrests went down to match, or lower – it would be great! The lumbar support doesn’t move with you when you lean back. The lumbar support stays stationary, meaning it pushes up along your back as you recline. This causes my shirt to bunch up, and I feel like it ‘hugs’ too much. Maybe some would like this, but it feels awkward to me. There is also no way to adjust it. You can raise/lower the whole seat back to find a sweet spot. Maybe I will get used to it.Neck rest seems highly adjustable, but if you lean back and put a little more weight on it by adjusting your shirt (see above) – then it snaps down. This already happened several times on Day 1, so I have to assume it will get worse over time. Also important: I am not a large person. I am 167cm (5’6″) tall, and weigh about 68kg (150 lb) with an average/fit male build – and this chair seems small. You can see in the picture that my hips cover the seat side-to-side when sitting. If it were larger, by say 15-20% – I think it would be MUCH more comfortable.Wrapping up: A few things were also better than expected! The leg rest is actually pretty sweet. I thought it would be a gimmick, but it is solid and comfortable. I was also surprised to see a seat adjustment for sliding forward/backwards. This is usually more of a high-end feature.I am probably spoiled by using chairs in the $1000+ range every day, so there are certain things you get accustomed to and appreciate, but when I look at other chairs at this price – I have to say this is 4/5 for the value, and maybe 5/5 for some. The build seems solid at the price, and it is what is advertised.

Update: Causes more backpain that aleviates

So far so good, I have only had the chair for a brief period of time and for now am satisfied given all the chairs I had tried previously. Will update this review in a while with great detail about the chair, pros and cons etc.I got this chair so it could help me improve the condition of my back pain. After using other chairs outside of my workspace, and this chair which I have used for a few weeks now, it’s immediately clear that this chair causes my back pain issues to become worse. The biggest reason for this is because the base (the seat) of the chair tilts back along with the backrest and if you want a 10 or 20 degree incline while working, its not going to happen.

    Great Chair

This chair is great. I work form home and had leg surgery and this really helped to keep me comfortable through the day with the relaxing leg rest and ability to lay back. The back of the chair provides a constant comfort. I just wish it was a little cheaper.

    Great Lumbar Support

I have purchased several of these chairs after doing an ergonomic assessment for co-workers. The lumbar support is good. It can be moved up and down according to height. The armrest can also move to fit individuals.

It’s a nice chair. Not that many chairs come with footrest. I’m over 6 and 200lb and fits good. I would get a replacement wheels instead of its plastic wheels tho.

Ehhhh, I hate to be nitpicky

Ehhhh, I hate to be nitpickyk, but at the price I paid for this thing I think I’m entitled to be a little nitpicky. Ok, hard facts, chair is good. Assembly was an absolute pain with the provided tool, so just make sure you have your own. I wish this thing reclined just a little more and I wish the armrest was 3D adjustable instead of just the up and down. The lumbar support adjustment is just weird and I wish it was more static as everytime I get it just right I shift in my seat and it moves or I stand up and it moves. Not a bad chair, but I’ve had better for less….

    Almost a 5

This chair is a huge upgrade from the Target office chair I had. I work from home, so really need something to keep me comfortable all day, and this chair does just that. I tested the x-chair, and this is just as good for a fraction of the price. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because it should recline a bit more. It stops reclining just when the reclining is getting good. It does say 115 which is probably the right thing to do, but if this went to 135, I don’t know if I’d be able to get any work done.

Good chair but with minor problems

I love the chair. I am 5’4 and it fits me perfectly. The reclining back can go up to 115 degree which something I was considering at first, but it turns out fine for me.However, the first chair come to my house with a broken backrest. The second chair come with a problem on the thing to adjust the back relining, it cannot be locked.Overall I still love the chair and appreciate the customer service

    comfortable, decent quality

i’m 6′ 200lbs+, apparently on larger side for most of these office chairs. i wanted a good head rest/support and this chair does that well. clearly a mesh seat experience vs cushy alternatives in this price range. good adjustability for back and head rests. rolls well on wood floor and thinner area rug. slide out foot rest is a nice bonus! lumbar support is interesting (reminder of where extra pounds stay), but once i got used to it the support it provides is noticeable. should have purchased at start of pandemic. a solid 4 star (5 if lower priced)

So assembly was a like finicky but nothing bad and while it’s not comfortable in the same way a big padded chair might be, it’s incredibly supportive and I find myself just using it outside of work.I wish the armrests moved forward and back but that’s it
