Dont listen to all the negative reviews ive had my razer edge for a few months now its honestly great very good device screen is vibrant playing games on it is quick and it charges quick and lasts a decent amount
Thomas –
Better than expected and well worth the money
GREGORY BOLIVAR –
This is bad… Why the controller was missing from the box package…It should have been the tablet and controller…I only received the tablet…????????
Christopher Henscheid –
Bought this thing so I wouldn’t fry my phone playing warzone mobile. Plays that and fortnite at high FPS. Got mine on sale for 250$ so definitely go for it for it if you can! Great razer quality like always. Sustains performance with cooling fan. Slick little unit!
Shopaholic Mama –
Definitely worth the price!! This game console/tablet is so cool my son will be in for a surprise this Christmas I went ahead and opened it to set it up for him putting in his email installing his games etc it has lots of memory you can download buy so many games you can install so many apps just like any tablet or phone
Craig –
Android games play at maximum. The controller with metal storm can’t be beat.
Youenn –
Really good gaming tablet.
Ring-Wraith –
It’s great to have a dedicated handheld for android games and Xbox Game Pass. It comes with the hardware that’s need to run these games flawlessly during gameplay. The HD touchscreen looks and responds great. The games run smoothly without any hiccups. The Razer Kishi V2 Pro controller gives you the feel that you’re playing on a console controller. The button layout is fairly identical to a split Xbox controller. It’s definitely been fun playing my games when I’m out and about or on the go. I’m not as restricted to the limited experience of using just my smartphone. I think this gaming tablet by Razer is definitely a winner and you’ll enjoy it too.
vickie hadley –
Size of a phone but seems much faster than my phone.
Excelente producto –

Bought it for my grandson who likes to cloud game, he says he’s happy with it, so I’m happy with it. Great service from the seller as it was completely brand new and all gamer store delivery was excellent.
Dkennedy0983 –
I truly love this console!! It’s super fast and has power under the hood. The best thing is I can play all my emulator games and no lag. ♥️
Maverix –
It’s a wonderful little handheld that’s very mobile. Love the built-in fans. Not only do they kick in when you’re gaming, but also when it charging. Batteries normally heat up during charging and can wear out quicker. So a cooler battery means a longer life. It’s very quick and snappy. Just wish it came with more memory. 128GB is really not much and can fill rather quickly if you are downloading games instead of playing on the cloud. Also love the on-screen mapping tools. Provides versatile compatibility with the majority of Android games. Now the worst thing about this handheld is the rounded bezel. I have no clue how this got approved, but it’s noticeable that the corners are cutoff. It’s a very weird design choice considering the tablet has a very boxy design. The AMOLED display is bright and gorgeous. Everything is crisp and very colorful. It’s even better than the 1440p OLED screen on my Pixel 7 Pro.Is it the ultimate gaming handheld like Razer claims? Absolutely not. You’re limited to playing android games, emulators, and cloud gaming. If this Windows based handheld, it could very well be considered a good competitor in the high end handheld market. It’s definitely worth the discounted $250 price tag imo.

This is the mobile gaming experience I’ve always wanted. Fast, friendly, connects with all my devices, fast enough to play games on its own (dolphin runs *flawlessly*), comfortable controls. This is exactly what I’ve dreamed of owning since I got the Nvidia Shield on launch and finally perfected with Razer.

Box was a bit banged up, but came in it’s original packaging, with cables and manuals. Feels it may not even be used in the condition I received it in.

This is an amazing device. The screen is really bright and vibrant best screen I’ve ever seen on a device like this.Looks better than the best screens out there. It is so bright that your eyes will hurt every playing this in the dark. I always have it on medium low and that’s more than bread enough. The sound is the best I’ve ever heard on a device like this. There’s actually two speakers on each side of the phone. It’s extremely clear. And loud. I’ve played Spotify on the speakers while I sleep. It has 144 hz refresh rate. Most games will only do 60 and 90.So if you’re doing 60 or 90 you can pretty much max out every game graphically.I use it for a couple mobile games I have and it plays them no problem.I don’t even use the controller to be honest.I only use controller for maybe a first person shooter.Or a side scroller. If you don’t do that you can just get this off eBay without the controller. The device is very heavy and feels really premium. The button clicks for volume are really premium as well.Has Google Assistant built in which is very fast and responsive because of the processor.

If you’re looking for a dedicated device for mobile gaming that isn’t too expensive, this is a great option. I got the Razer Edge for $250 brand new, and for that price, you get a lot of bang for your buck. It can run current mobile games such as genshin impact, warzone mobile, and several more. When running Fortnite on this system, I did notice that I had to changes the graphics settings to a very low preset just to get it running well. It might not be the most powerful device compared to other gaming handhelds, but $250 is a great price for a stick android device that can run some great games.

Game Nerd –
i had a steam deck and anbernic. i dont like emulating anything on p3 or above, do to hardware space and my overall taste in retro games is ps2 and below. and this is no doubt the best way. i feel stupid with a steam deck or switch in public but if i only bring this as a tablet it kinda just like a phone and i feel less stupid ????

Not compatible with Sky:children of the light and other great games.

If you’re looking for a handheld streaming device that plays Android games at Max settings this is the one.Razor is one of the best top tier companies out there and this handheld console is one of the best on the market. From picture quality to connectivity to processing power nothing beats it.I chose the razor edge because of its high quality and it’s uncompromising performance.

This is a really neat gaming tablet. In short, this gaming tablet allows you to play your Xbox and computer games from anywhere through the cloud. You have to have a computer or an Xbox to be able to do that though. It’s all done through the cloud. You can play all the games on Xbox game pass too. You can also play Android games. Some Android games recognize the Kishi V2 controller and can be played with it. Others can be played with touchscreen controls like normal. I found a lot of Android games could not be played because the games were made for older versions of Android. This gaming tablet is simply a powerful Android phone that does not have the phone capabilities. The AMOLED screen is super bright and crisp. I played Asphalt and the graphics were awesome and there was no delay or stuttering. The controller is perfectly responsive and comfortable to play with. The large 6.8″ screen is impressive and the internals are equally impressive. This is a powerful tablet that does not struggle to play games. This is not a portable console though. This is a tablet that allows you to play the games you already have on your Xbox or computer from anywhere via the cloud. In the case of Android games, you can download them and play them just like you would your phone.Overall I really like the Edge. It has more than enough power to do what it’s designed to do and the screen is awesome. The Android game selection that can be played with the Kishi controller is limited so to take full advantage of this tablet you need an Xbox or computer to stream your games from. Otherwise it’s large android phone to play games on. I highly recommend this for those who have an Xbox or computer to play your games from.

Bought this primarily for emulation, and the Razer Edge knocks it out of the park. If you want a budget friendly handheld console that will handle PS2 emulation, this is it. People who complain about the aspect ratio should get over it and buy one of those little RG units with a 3.5″ screen (I’m planning to buy an portable monitor for SNES/GameCube etc, you can get a 15″ portable screen for $50 this will plug right into, so for $250 you have one of the best hardware profiles in a handheld android easily the best in this price range, plus an extra 15″ screen. The Edge has desktop mode btw, I mean really). This is the best bang for your buck hardware wise, and most of the complaints folks have (like xfat) have been addressed. I’ve been using mine for several days and love it. The screen is beautiful and plenty bright, the speakers sound great, and the Kishi Pro controller is super comfy and pleasant to use. There’s also a nice silicone case on All Gamer Store for $15 that makes the Edge look like a normal all-in-one which I have ordered.
Nyshon –
First off if you aren’t too worried about price and don’t want a device the size of a Steam Deck that only plays games, then this is the one to buy. I’ll explain. On the surface this is a portable gaming tablet that can handle just about anything on the play store. I’m sure it can handle any mobile game but I haven’t played hardly any. If you dig deeper, this is an entertainment powerhouse. Now the problem is, so is your phone. If you are an Android user, I’m sure any newish phone could load up emulators, stream AAA games from xbox cloud or PS Remote play, and handle mobile titles. The reason this is a win for me is 1) I’m an iPhone user, 2) this can play up to PS2 emulation flawlessly and upscale them which works well with the screen size and color profile, 3) this is a separate device dedicated to killing time so it’s only as available as I want it to be.Number 3 is kind of the big win for me. Your phone is generally always with you. The Edge is an accessory. If you game on your phone, you’ll kill that battery in a couple of hours. If you’re sitting around on a charger then no problem. If not, then you have a few choices to make. I’m not a big gamer, maybe 4 hours a week, mostly because it’s time I could be sitting with the family (while everyone is on their phones anyways). Now instead of sitting in front of the xbox or PS5 in my home office, I grab the Edge and go chill with my lady while she watches Housewives and when I get lost in what’s going on, I jump on the Edge….still just as lost. Then when I don’t want the option, I don’t bring it.Another big use case is for travel. I can play games, watch movies I loaded on a SD card, stream Netflix and alllll the other services on it, do internet things, and all that while I’m in the airport and on planes. Same things you normally do on a phone but I don’t have to worry about charging my phone every time I sit down. THEN I can take the controller off and use the tablet portion as a standalone at work and/or play. USB C video out, screen mirror, powerful enough to run virtual desktops, transfer files, MS Office, and so on. Again, things your phone can do but this is a generous screen size with great visuals, decent battery life, and you don’t have to sacrifice your main driver (cell phone) to moonlight as a personal entertainment device. No one NEEDS this or any other portable gaming system but if you WANT one and want something that is more than a one trick pony, this might be the best solution. Steam Decks and those rivals are more polished and better for strictly cloud gaming. The cheaper android emulators from Retrodroid are amazing. Bought one for my spouse who wasn’t a gamer until she played with a Retro Pocket 3. Those are only really going to scratch that itch for emulation and mobil games with a smaller, less refined screen and permanent controls attached. Also $100 cheaper but it’s built for one purpose. Similar story with the Odin Pro 2. Great for gaming, probably better than this but permanent controls attached so it’s a little out of place outside of gaming but its $100-$250 more expensive.Final point, this is a total unnecessary purchase so either you’re into gimmicky tech or not. This isn’t a gimmick but not something thats going to blow your mind. It’s all in how you use it. Im going to “watch” Housewives and play Far Cry 6 now lol. It plays Far Cry in HD perfectly with the xbox cloud app BTW. Better than my iPhone 15 Pro Max on the same wifi they start off just about the same but my phone starts to drop resolution then drop frames while the Edge seems to buffer up then settle at high res and stay.

The razer edge redefines mobile gaming with its console class control, providing an immersive gaming experience. The snapdragon chipset ensures that demanding titles run smoothly, making it a perfect choice for gamers who don’t want to compromise on performance. The tactile feedback enriches the gaming experience, providing a level of immersion that’s unmatched by other portable devices. Feeling the game through haptic feedback has always been my favorite. The visuals are sharp, vibrant, and responsive, ensuring that every detail of the game comes to life. The high refresh rate guarantees smooth gameplay, giving you an edge in fast paced titles.

Another Review from DebuDebuBuckle Up, Lets Go!With Playstation Portal around the corner I was looking for something that can cloud stream from multiple eco-systems. This can do that…sorta. Let’s talk about it.My network is fiber to the home with a mesh network inside. First let’s talk about XCloud from Microsoft. This comes built into the Razer Edge Tablet. You login to Microsoft and more or less away you go. It felt really good. It was responsive and I didn’t feel a lot of lag. I played Moonscars, Firewatch, Halo and a few other games. Everything worked very well.I then tried Local network play using the Xbox App and that work just as well in house. No problems there either.I think tried PS Remote Play. I could connect to my PS5 but the buttons and joysticks did not work. This was puzzling as it worked fine for Xbox. After a little research I found I needed to buy an unofficial app on the google play store that did work. Where were a few settings I had to get around but after that it did work. The app was an additional cost as well. However, playing Spiderman Miles Morales in bed was pretty awesome. I also found out how to turn on the haptics on the Kishi and it feels very close to the Dual Sense. I also found the haptics worked with Destiny 2. I play at a 16 sensitivity on controller but because the analogs are small on the Kishi I moved it to about 5 and it felt pretty good then. One thing to note, I don’t get any vibration when using my DualShock 4 when I remote play from PS4 to PS5 so this is really nice. The screen is beautiful. Vibrant colors and inky blacks. You really can’t ask more anything better. One of the nicest screens I’ve ever seen. The analogs are very similar to Joycons. Same feel and movement. Playing Halo or another FPS game with them can be challenging, and it might be easier to lower the sensitivity in game (as stated above with Destiny). For other types of games it was good. I kind of miss the analog from the Kishi v1. I felt it was better.I also tried an emulator for PS2 and I was very surprised that it ran full speed. It was very smooth. Lots of options on Android and you can have a huge library to choose from in your pocket. The buttons feel good and the L2/R2 triggers feel great. Much better than the older model Kishi. As an iPhone user I found the Android UI very difficult to use. I had trouble trying to find the settings to adjust screen brightness and sound. For example, the sound for music in games is different than a notification sound. This might be an Android thing, but it took time to even find the Settings. I had to hold my finger on the screen and create a widget. I don’t get why there just wasn’t a settings app somewhere. Then the widget would default to like sound so I had to add yet another for brightness. Really counter intuitive. Maybe this is normal with Android, I don’t know since this is my first experience. Same thing for lowering the screen refresh to 60Hz since that is what most remote play uses and can save battery life…yet another widget.Tablet Specs, this thing feels zippy. I never felt any type of lag with it on the screens or between apps.Quirks: If remote playing on Xbox and I plug in headphones, it would kick me out of the app. No idea why it does that.Final Thoughts: Xbox doesn’t have a Portal coming out and if you are looking for that, this things is great. Add 1,000s of retro games and also the ability to remote play with steam and Playstation, you have one device to rule them all.

This is a really nice handheld Android gaming system. It is super light, so it is great for long gaming sessions. It can be used with or without the included controller which is easily installed or removed depending on the game. As a bonus, the controller can also be used with a compatible phone. The controller is very comfortable to hold and use, has a quality feel and seems very responsive. It has two connections in the handles, a USB-C for charging and a 1/8-inch headphone jack. At first, having wires there was a little distracting, but after a while I stop noticing them and I don’t think there would have been a better place to put them. The table itself is excellent, the colors and brightness are outstanding. The touchscreen is very responsive. I love the size and find it perfect for handheld gaming. Battery life is excellent, but I recommend turning it off if it’s going to sit idle for a few days.I tried the system with a number of Android games both with and without the controller and it worked really well. I found one game that didn’t respond to the triggers for some reason, but I blame that on the game. I may have been able to find a way around it, but it wasn’t worth the effort with so many other games available. I also tried it with Steam Link to cast my gaming PC and I think it is perfect for this too. I can’t stress enough how light and comfortable this device is. I noticed no lag at all.I’m struggling to find something negative to say to balance out this gushing review, but I really can’t think of anything. If you’re looking for a handheld gaming system for Android or streaming games, I think you will be happy with this one.

Update 11/20/24: Enter Winlator. Yes open source Windows emulator for Android. Again side load it, and then play actual PC games from the GOG (Good Old Games) store and now PC games on the go. Classic games work well, like RTSs and city builders and you can get some 3D games to work well on it too. Perfect for us low budget / right budget people wanting to game on the go. There are lists out there floating around of what 3D games work, so search around or ask on Reddit.Update 5/28/24: Switch emulation is hit or miss. Emu needs 8 GB of video ram to work correctly, and this device is detected as having 5.1gb. I can get wee tiny Roms to load and play, but forget the real deal stuff. However, Dolphin Emu works and looks amazing. Also the device charges slightly quicker but not by much without the controller attached.Original Review:At the going price of 250.00, and then add a 1TB U3 MicroSD card (not included, but costs 60ish bucks here) you can’t beat this little bugger. I even purchased a case here for 20, and then screen protector (3 included) that is tempered scratch resistant glass for 8 bucks.I can’t speak on the cloud stuff, because I could care less, but as far as emulation, this is a holy grail handheld.Boot up is quick, and after the updates everything is working flawless for me with no issues. All the release date kinks have all been fixed. It will emulate everything that RetroArch / Lemuroid states, which in my case I am using Lemuroid (Ad free, no purchase needed on Android app store). Lemuroid, is simple, clean and perfect and detects all the roms, and controls and you’ll be gaming for say possibly 10 hours straight if your emulating classics and using low to normal lighting. Classics up to N64 / PS1 era and a few handhelds that came after. Now current consoles and handhelds like the 3DS PS2, and another that was taken down can also be emulated at like 4k, and they look unbelievable. However, the fan will kick on and the little beast will go into overtime, so you’ll get about 5 hours of game time, instead of say 10. Reduce back to 1x rendering and you’ll get about 7 hours.Download all your stuff from the Android app store, including your video subscription stuff and you’ll be set. Citra, PS2 and Switch emus have to be sideloaded, which is pretty simple.Does videos and that lasts a long time too.Cannot do USB-C extras, like HDMI out, USB-C audio cable out, or an external drive with the controller attached. Controller attached you can only do power pass through. If doing the tablet straight, then yes to all the latter. Daughter and I connect to the TV via HDMI out and two bluetooth controllers and we are console gaming!Does not come with an AC adapter or lens cloth, which I found odd, but does have USB C to USB cable included.Man I used to commute from NYC to Woodbridge and back, and where was this handheld back then? It would have helped kill so much time. Worst part was missing the express and getting on the local.Worth every penny. Don’t waste your money like I did on a bunch of retro handhelds from unknown makes that either work subpar, or have subpar controls and screens. Some can’t even access the Android store. Some the battery or something else dies like a few months later. For the price of 250.00 it is a done deal and with Razer’s reputation, you can’t go wrong. Now get yourself one.

Awesome device!
